14	Askreddit thread about events that led to mass firings/quitting. Almost all of the bad bosses were women. Same. I've had several bosses, both male and female. One of the most direct and transparent bosses I had was female. She expected a lot out of me and out of herself as well. Got there early, stayed late, & generally knew her shit. Was always happy to defer to me in areas I knew a little better than she did. Never took credit for anyone else's work, and owned up to her mistakes. Maybe I've just been lucky. 4	An outsider observes how disposable the average male appears to be in American weddings. Married guy here (married 7 years - glad I did it & I'd do it again in a heartbeat). Just wanted to wade into the cynicism long enough to say that it's not always this bad. Hasn't been my experience anyway. Was our wedding a little more focused on my wife than it was on me? Sure. I simply didn't care as much about it as she did, especially since, where I'm from, it's traditional for the father of the bride to pay for the wedding. Was I involved in the planning?
