HTFU, don't get involved in stupid arguments, ignore people being stupid and don't give anybody orders unless you're in a position of authority, which you aren't. Go to /r/keto and /r/fitness, shave your head, do the Starting Strength lifting program, shave, buy some new clothes, and just calmly deflect any conversation that isn't worth your time. If you have to give orders, it's a public demonstration of low SMV. Do not tell your AA colleague "Starting now, no more jokes" just ignore his jokes.…

If the girl you spend time with as friends were a dude, would you still hang out with them? If yes, then you're a friend, if no, then you're an orbiter. If you want to be more than friends, tell them ASAP.

It sounds like depression. It also sounds like the stereotypical tale of moving to L.A. with big dreams and small finances and watching your dreams get crushed. If you want to do music, do fucking music. Treat it like a day job. Take the programming boot camp if you want to, but you didn't come out here to be a coder. Treat your day job like a second job, and make the music happen. There's a reason there's a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and not a Nonprofit Office Worker Hall of Fame. Fucking chase…

It's not just for fitness goals, it's about being part of a team. Track would be a good start though. Good luck!

Are you getting enough sleep, managing your stress effectively such that your typical mental attitude is calm and upbeat, and getting plenty of exercise and protein? If not, start there, as your body has its own internal chemical regulators, and it's best to make sure those are working right before adding things to the mix.

If you don't want to pay for her, do dates that don't cost money. That's easy enough to do. Otherwise, take her someplace affordable you'd be going to anyway. There are plenty of Asian places that are pleasant and cheap, and it makes a nice impression to cover the bill. (The fact that you're not someplace serving $30+ entrees will clue her in that you're not a good "beta bucks" candidate.) Let her cover the next date if you want to share costs, going Dutch just seems tacky, but YMMV, obviously.

Join a sports team ASAP, I don't care how fucking weak and uncoordinated you are. If you're handicapped, be the damn manager, but otherwise, talk to the coach and go out and join whatever team you can, preferably one with access to the school weight room. Shitty people will be shitty, but if you come out of this situation physically stronger and a better team player, you will be much better prepared going forward.

You don't stop growing until 25 in some cases, so just get plenty of protein and eat at a slight surplus to give yourself the optimum chance of getting taller. If that doesn't work, just focus on not giving a fuck, having fun, and keeping in shape and building your career. The only short dudes that are doomed are the ones who believe they are; there are plenty of short dudes hooking up right and left.

Don't overthink it. Women want a guy who's tall, muscular, and not fat. Whether that guy looks like a junkie rockstar, or like a bodybuilder, or somewhere in between, doesn't really matter. You just have to meet the basic criteria, and you're golden. Once you hit the basic 3 requirements, anything you do above and beyond that is more to make you happy. TL:DR - Be anything that's not skinny or fat on this chart.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
