She’s 18, it’s not like she’s a child anymore so I think that effect is gone unless she’s the type to end up a Disney adult

That relies on your task management skills. Work studies are anywhere from 10-25 hours a week, internships are typically 25-35 hours a week, rarely you find one that’s full time at 35+. Start small and move upwards as you learn how to manage the balancing act.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 10:21 PM

Ok yeah if someone else is paying, why not

/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 08:37 PM

Hey, look into work study. They work around your hours at college. Once you’re better adjusted to college and balancing priorities, focus on internships, specifically paid internships. If you can’t get those- focus on your university’s research opportunities because they typically come with stipends. Build your resume so as you go on each year through college- you become a more and more competitive applicant. By the time your graduate, you should be able to land a good job with solid pay relativ…

I disagree with this guy, Disney is expensive so save your money since you’re young a $20 means a lot when you’re in college.

/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 08:20 PM

You are a lesser offender tho bc you’re only here during work.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 06:42 PM

You are not only bored with way too much time on your hands at work- you are also drawn to strange subreddits so you are not immune from this judgement imo.

Yeah region probably matters. My school day was 7 hours long not including commute. Practices were 2-3 hours long after school not including athletics class. We had advanced academic classes like AP and dual credit- but almost everyone was doing one of those a semester/year on top of extracurriculars. Band practice was mainly during summer but were 3 hours long. They maybe only stayed an hour or two after school went out. But at games, football players, cheerleaders, dance team, and band were al…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 06:21 PM

Well considering most people don’t have corporate jobs- I think the numbers above would still work even if it counted hours at work. Blue collar and minimum wage laborers will offset the corporate hours.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 05:52 PM

That’s crazy. You’re older than me by a year but not even half of my class was on TikTok by graduation. I had a far heavier online presence than my peers, so I had TikTok by beginning of senior year. The adjusted guys just played games after school or were in sports practice. And the girls were in sports practice or FaceTiming each other after. Almost everyone was at athlete or in a competitive extracurricular that took up time. We were on phones in school but it was not mainly tiktok. Speaking …

I think we’re all on the island of broken toys. Retired so spending much time online isn’t abnormal- I think being drawn to these specific topics and subreddits is the biggest factor.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 05:31 PM

For an hour or two sure. For 4+ hours? No. The normies with lives do not do this. The normies are busy with their lives off the internet. And they spend much time on instagram commenting under their friends/acquaintances posts “Love you!!!” “so gorg” “ilysm” “love” “miss you!” Then get on Facebook for a bit to reply to their families posts. Mentally healthy and socially adjusted people do not bedrot. It just so happens that most gen z are mentally unwell and socially inept due to circumstances a…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 05:28 PM

Yes I always find that a bit bizarre. Or random bragging/insistence of normalcy from both sexes. You’re here, we know you’re weird. It’s okay. The only normies don’t pop up frequently.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 05:22 PM

Is this considering work screen time as well?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 05:20 PM

Normies frequent instagram or facebook. Any other sites, I would agree. Twitter and TikTok are unadjusted as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 05:19 PM

Well said
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 05:18 PM

yes, your flair confirms that
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 05:18 PM

I don’t think anybody who frequents the daily threads of PPD consistently is socially adjusted. Spending an hour a day or so ever so often might just be someone adjusted who’s bored. But every day, multiple hours, constantly coming back- I don’t think you’re socially adjusted. This includes me.

Just some. Context changes a lot of it as well. Say the grief is revolving someone in a sudden, tragic/violent death. That’s gonna be harder to work through than say someone who died of old age and you could see it coming for many years. I don’t have any numbers to throw around, but I think you get what distinction I’m making. Regarding grief that’s exempt from the process of being worked through- it just really, really depends. Some people watch others close to them die in very, very traumatic …

I think it’s less offensive in the situation with someone who’s asexual. When the norm is not asexual- it’s very easy to question its legitimacy and feel sensitive about that. When the norm is to have the baby of your husband- it’s insulting to assume they are a fringe case and cheated on you and are trying to pass the kid off as yours.

These people don’t have the ability to conceptualize how the cops’ decision to not follow the rules could actually be used negatively against them. Therefore- they call you bootlicker bc “why would he say that if he didn’t want these girls to get punished just because!!!!”

There’s a status that comes with saying my husband or fiancé where saying “my bf” makes you seem unserious and teenage like. Because women attribute status to being taken in a serious context, they’ll prefer “my man” over “my bf” because the claim sounds more permanent. Because men don’t attribute different status amounts between the terms “my wife” and “my gf”, men are not likely to say anything but the straight forward, proper identifying term for their relationship.

I think things like grief and phobias. Making fun of you for having a phobia of blood will always be something they can target bc phobias don’t just go away that easily. Or losing someone close to you- no matter how much time passes, someone throwing that in your face will probably always sting from the sheer display of cruelty towards you.

Well it’s depends on context. I said every dynamic and I meant truly- every dynamic. Like pdfiles look for positions near children, people who abuse old/sick individuals look for nurse/caregiver positions, people who like financially abusing will target lower class people, women/men who want to abuse will target men/women who have low self confidence, isolated people with weak familial bonds and/or little to no friends.

Well, there’s also some things that are sensitive that aren’t insecurities that can be used against someone as well. Say, trauma or phobias. If you tell someone your worst fear is someone close to you dying and later they say during an argument- “this is why you’re gonna be alone when all your fam dies.” That’s just as harmful as digging in an insecurity. Or bringing up past traumas against you. Some things can’t be worked through or may always hurt. At the very least, you should view it as disr…

So these are with acrylic tips that lengthen the nail. Anything below short would have to be an overlay (acrylic over natural nail) because the cutting device can’t reach with the skin in the way. They don’t use nail clippers, it’s a device made for cutting acrylic tips.

I don’t think they need to be aligned with a future career tbh. Most people who play spots don’t go pro, it’s because it’s fun. Also I can’t really think of any extracurriculars that line up with jobs outside of things like hack-a-thons or debate for future lawyers.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 12:57 AM

So if you reread my post, you’ll notice the part where I say I hope extracurriculars help them find a passion that leads to development of self discipline. Ie fall in love with a sport so self initiate practice or fall in love with music and self initiate practice.

My personal opinion is that I would be very hands on, pushing for extracurriculars because I believe they build self-discipline and passion. They help them become well rounded people with healthy lifestyles (my rule of thumb would be 1 physical extracurricular and 1 mental). If they want to do very many extracurriculars- I will support them best I can and if it’s too much, they will learn the importance of prioritizing what’s most important to them.

I wouldn’t write that on my profile but I would say it in messages after matching. She might just be very forward. Do you value that in a woman? Or do you want things to be shrouded and hinted instead of told directly.

Honestly I’m likely projecting my own problems- because I had similar vitals and had to take medication to control my tachycardia for many years. My resting is currently around 65 since starting cardio 3-4x a week. Blood pressure is still lowish-low tho. I’m jumpy about vitals due to my own experiences.

I have even stronger thoughts on girth. If it’s considered thick- keep it away from me.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/25 02:45 AM
15

Anything above the larger side of average is a dealbreaker for me. 8 inches sounds insane and I don’t believe most women actually think this, I just think size queens are very loud. Key thing to remember is that women tend to not have great visual-spatial awareness and what a woman thinks is 8 inches could be closer to 6.5-7, which is still very large- but worlds more common than 8 inches.

I value financial stability and freedom. He will never get that unless he has a massive inheritance coming his way….
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 02:03 AM

This isn’t about attraction, this is about logistically affording a family- which most people aim for eventually when dating. She didn’t specify that he would be the only one paying bills, so it’s not even red pill. It’s just as insane to expect a female to support a household on her own these days as it is a man- we do not have the economy our grandparents did.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 02:01 AM

Never understood that. I don’t do make up sex either.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 06:51 AM

No
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 06:50 AM

I think the explanation above is extreme- but people do change and it is best to prepare for the off chance something changes. If you don’t want kids, it’s best to prepare accordingly than just hope the egg doesn’t fertilize. If you buy a house, it’s best to have home insurance in case of a fire, rather than just hope a fire never happens. I think the treatment towards men in the paragraphs are spiteful and mean- but if you only look at the actions and not the words, it’s good advice.

I want you to think critically for a second. What group of men is most commonly known to have an appreciation for makeup, which you’ve stated you have? Now think of how many of them there are and compare that general idea to how many there are of the opposite sexuality. Yes I asked if you were gay because if a man said what you did- it’d be more likely he’s gay than straight. I wanted clarification.

That’s your opinion. Sounds like you simply don’t like conversation. There’s many ways you could’ve responded which would start a longer discussion. What were you expecting to be said/discussed when you posted that photo?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/25 10:26 AM

Why would you post something in the public eye if you did not want/were not expecting it to be discussed.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/25 09:58 AM

I’m more perplexed by your responses than anything due to what I said before about men typically disliking that makeup style. She’s not my ideal of beauty but I can understand how she could be someone else’s. My preference is towards women like Anne Hathaway and Kate Beckinsale pre-surgery.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/25 09:57 AM

Typically straight men get upset about heavy makeup changing features since they become unrecognizable without makeup, and the attraction lessens considerably. Are you straight?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/25 09:42 AM

I hate to tell you, this is still a full face of makeup. BUT it would only hide things like terrible under eye or discoloration. She does look incredibly different than the other photos, particularly the nose- as I suspected.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/25 09:40 AM

More natural looking here, but still very far from without makeup. This is the average woman’s full face of makeup.

Morality in actuality is hard to measure and I don’t see one gender as more moral than the other. One commonly uses manipulation to gain sex from the other, the other commonly uses manipulation to gain resources from the first. Sure women don’t commit as much violent crime, but morality is what you make it. To some, it doesn’t take violence to be considered evil or bad

I’ve seen this happen a couple times. It’s not common, I understand why. Like everyone else said, it’s expensive and leaves them open to vulnerability. The sperm donor industry is incredibly unethical regarding limiting the amount of children allowed in a certain area to be related. If they’re not gonna know they’re related- they should be a large distance apart to avoid the genetic sexual attraction phenomenon.

I mean that was my tactic and it’s paying off. Just confirming for my own ego. Wasn’t trying to make it sound like the lesser option- I don’t view it as such.

I hate for this to be how you find out- but many young women don’t understand the concept of a league. Or the idea of one they have in their head is not realistic. 80% of young women think they can pull the top 20% of young men just because they’re a woman. Maybe it was different in other generations, but female zoomers are delulu.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/25 06:04 PM

So are you suggesting they just get with someone who’s average looks and has degree in something that will pay well while still young? Trying to determine your idea of what the male version is of investing into ETFs while young.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 10:03 PM

Yeah, I think there’s a certain rush that comes from the first couple days of being on a dating app as a young woman. I’m not one for rushes or highs so it wasn’t something I cared about after 3 days- but some women and men (the ones who turn it into a game, try different presentations of themselves and set a goal of talking to/banging as many women as possible) never get over it. Gluttony towards sex and sexual attraction will ruin you.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 09:59 PM

I do agree with you. I’ve been on dating apps a maximum of 3 weeks my entire life. It was bizarre to me to see other women show me their matches of men who clearly lived a player lifestyle and were above them lookswise. People end up looksmatched in long relationships, yes. But women will get bamboozled for quite some time until they wisen up- either consciously or subconsciously about what rank of man will actually commit to them. Most people do not shoot for looks match out the gate. It’s almo…

I’m not physically attractive so I have no confidence in there even being a possible yes and I stutter/use weird sentence structure when nervous (sounds like I’m having a stroke sometimes). I have approached in the past when I was more confident. If I know someone already, I can be quite aggressive with pursuing them if I like them. The problem is- I don’t know strangers, so I can’t do that.

It probably has gone to your head. Even the ones whose maturity isn’t linear- there’s still 5 years of life where they’ve encountered problems and situations. That’ll typically mean something. I’d only say it’s not relevant if the 21 year old has been independent since 16 or something.

This post just reeks of an inability to envision other perspectives and lack of empathy. I rarely say this- but you need to go outside. You’re not talking about reality. Stop looking at the celebrities and insta baddies who don’t care for marriage and go talk to a real Emily. They want marriage. I genuinely don’t know a single woman personally who doesn’t want marriage. I’m sure it is. I hope you realize you’re implying the man they marry is either 1. Their first ever relationship or 2. Their first ever LTR. My tastes have shifted every couple years since I had my first crush at the age of like 8. I think it’s natural for tastes to shift as you do as a person. However I think they’re pretty solidified by late 20s because that’s when you as a person are, for the most part, solidified in your persona.

I do not view the success quantified by assets of a child as the end all be all grade of how the mother performed. Are you aware that it is the conventional norm for a Japanese woman to control the assets of the household? I thought I had hinted that both culture + education play a role in being a good mother. I think Korean and Japanese mothers have the tools to be good mothers- but on average are not. It is definitely a Catch 22 since some women won't even befriend men who they feel attraction to. But some require that their partners be friends with them before moving forward. It is truly a situation of keep your options open and have multiple female partners and see where it takes you. Don't invest time and energy unless they're also investing time and energy. Women also do this thing of sometimes befriending men they would not be compatible with romantically and that's *why* they're comfort…

I can tell myself all day that a comment made by a partner about another woman shouldn’t upset me and that my response is rooted in insecurity, but at the end of the day- it still made me upset and I shouldn’t pretend or try to repress my feelings but rather express them so they can be handled in tandem with my partner. I’m not so I’m still fucked in that regard.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 02:48 AM

Please don’t base your assumptions off that one woman. I would’ve never guessed my dad had bouts of violence when he was younger and was shocked, same with my Highschool sweetheart (who was literally, a sweetheart and I was shocked finding out he was a ruffian in middle school). Why would I make the assumption a nice guy hasn’t been in a fight? Also why does that make you beta cause you haven’t fought? Aren’t we supposed to condemn and look down on violence?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 02:42 AM

No, I mean even for them to pay for gas or pay for themselves with an ugly woman. Like…wouldn’t the presence of an ugly woman be unenjoyable and therefore a waste.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 02:40 AM

Yes but are they smart enough to identify that you’re nice and the others aren’t?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 02:35 AM

I think this analogy pivots on the capability of the person to identify said red flags, and also having an easy way out of the toxic situation they end up in. If they can’t identify the red flags, you should be a bit more sympathetic, but that one truly changes from person to person. I genuinely believe some people are too stupid to notice. Then you should also increase sympathy depending on how hard it is to leave said toxic situation.

You’re darker skinned so you shouldn’t do what I did, but there’s at home lasers for ipl. They range in price depending on strength and type of laser. But again, you’re darker skinned and that requires specific lasers so as to not damage your skin since the lasers are targeting pigment. For you I think you need to get it professionally done or maybe look up some posts about other black women who have used machines at home and what their experiences were like/what their recommendations are. Don’t…

Question for men: Does body hair on women disgust you? What’s the most you could tolerate? A couple days without shaving, trimmed short, moderately trimmed, or unabashedly grown out? This applies to her whole body. If you have different tolerances for different body parts, make that known. I just finished lasering myself so I’m just thinking about body hair and the beauty standards revolving around them so I’m curious how PPD males think.

Please don’t do this. This is how my last relationship ended. At the very least, don’t chalk up all of her complaints to “woman moments” but rather take note of what they are and if the same one keeps popping up- handle it. It’s a crushing experience to have the person you love willfully ignore your wants and needs because they view them as “woman moments” and they “know what’s best and better for you.”

I don’t quite know what you mean by “do something about it” but I do know that I hate low blows, and attacking appearances is one of them- for both males and females. I think you’re not accounting for how generalizations don’t always apply to specific scenarios like you mentioned. A woman can say “I would never submit to 95% of modern men” while submitting to her male partner without making the first statement false. Generalizations, and the exceptions to the rule, exist at the same time since generalizations are just that: generalizations and not a hard fact or truth applying to every single man or woman on this planet.

I think some women are only looking at the most heinous things men have done, while also looking at the most positive sides of a bear encounter. Bears can’t speak, bears don’t get into arguments with us, we don’t know anybody who has been sexually assaulted or raped by a bear. This is only an attractive proposal if you genuinely find inflicting pain and suffering onto women, a turn on. Otherwise, wouldn’t it be better to at least just be a pimp and pay women in one way or another to have sex with you? In one scenario they’ll be screaming and entirely non-consensual, in the other you have the benefits of underworld activity freedom and the money that comes with it as well as women who will actually consent to the sex being had.

My dad gives me holiday money in strange packages. Last time he took a pill bottle, removed the label, put money in it, and covered it with my name, instructions on how to take, expected symptoms, amount, and who “prescribed” it to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 08:12 PM

I count physical labor in my day to day life as standard of living so yea lol. I can’t imagine doing anymore, and not constantly feeling overwhelmed and sad because my day would be overran by chores and child rearing.

But I also acknowledge that not getting a paternity test if she cheats, is also bad. Just weigh your options veryyyy carefully.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 08:07 PM

I’ve never cheated and I don’t think I have it in me to ever cheat. If my future husband were to ask for a paternity test during a pregnancy or after I’ve given birth, I think I would have to divorce him. Those are serious accusations, and denote that the trust in the relationship is nonexistent. Just end it at that point since that’s an incredibly important foundation for relationships. Just be aware of that^ Accuse someone of being a cheater when they’re not, and it’ll likely come back to bite…

I think he’s referring to what became of the haute bourgeois which ended up being like bankers and business owners. But I find it inaccurate and confusing to refer to modern capitalists the bourgeoisie, considering more than half of them didn’t even turn into haute bourgeois

When you want to refer to capitalists, just say capitalism or capitalists. You confuse people when you say bourgeoisie because everyone’s mind goes to bourgeoisie movement where the middle class overturned the status quo of not allowing them personal liberties. I can only assume you’re talking about what the haute bourgeoisie turned into.

No, this is so funny omg 😭 Karl Marx is THE ONE who denoted the middle class during the 18th and 19th century as liberal and progressive, who were against ruling by “divine right” and wanted a constitution government. This is so embarrassing for you 🙈 Guess what they were called??? THE BOURGEOISIE

When I said beautiful I meant by personality, she has changed kinda sorta recently. But she was attacked at work and so it makes sense and I’m not cruel enough to turn away someone for responding normally to a traumatic situation. /r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 06:45 PM

You’d be more correct if you said x, y, z is used similarly to what the rich did during the bourgeoisie movement. She’s right, the bourgeoisie is actually just the middle class. The bourgeoisie is the good guys, but zoomers have completely defiled the meaning.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 06:43 PM

Idk why zoomers determined to redefine that word, but they did. When they say the bourgeoise, they’re referring to like the movement in its entirety, not the actual middle class. They took the message from it and slapped it onto that word, and I don’t think they actually understand what the word itself means.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 06:40 PM

Most often advice I hear from older corporate professionals, is regretting not making more of their life. Don’t let yourself come home and watch Netflix for five hours every day during the week. You can enjoy your time those nights as well. Get hobbies and attend classes, don’t even have to make more friends, just don’t let the days pass you in a blur so in a year you don’t even remember what you did, or nothing memorable sticks out.

Ok the only way I would accept a man who “doesn’t want to be a capitalist cog” is if he was pursuing FIRE, has attained it, and supports himself through returns on his investments and dividends. Otherwise, it’s a huge commie cope for being lazy.

I haven’t had a male friend since high school but I just remember how painful it was to try and get this man to actually speak about himself. I find most men are like this around that age, and they kinda ruin it for women on how we view being friends with men. It’s like pulling teeth to get them to tell us anything that isn’t a material interest like games, hobbies, activities. Start asking them the “why” questions, and they clam up. I think it has to do largely with how men speak to each other.…

People are saying this one, but I’m not answering until I know your skin tone. A lot of people look like clowns with this color. It’s very hit or miss. The safer option is the other one. Less chance of it looking bad with the other color. Also I’ve had this color before, red is very hard to maintain. Perhaps the hardest to maintain. You’ll need red shampoos and red conditioners if you don’t want it to fade within a week and a half. The other one was more violet, which retains better.

It’s only exciting if you understand what the factors at play are. Things like slip streams and when’s the last time the tires were replaced affecting their grip and if they’re warmed up. Ask your girlfriend what a slip stream is. If she knows what it is, then you can be upset that she was bored. If she doesn’t, then you need to understand that she has no idea what’s happening

Formula 1 is very boring to anyone who doesn’t care about cars. You’re kind of an idiot to expect someone who doesn’t care for cars to pretend to be interested in cars going in a circle for 50 laps. I’d get pissed if my boyfriend ever got mad at me for losing interest at an event like that. Even I’m okay with the topic of cars, and watch racing animes with him. It varies a lot. Depends on how much of the population is white. We have lots of Hispanics and native Mexicans down here, so they drag the average down A LOT. I’d say maybe 5’3? Hard to find a Hispanic woman over 5’5, but very easy to find one under 5’3.

The good thing here though, is that if a woman manages to notice you’re well off, you can trust she’s not an idiot and probably is smart enough to live by similar principles of not going into major debt for flashy items. I don’t know about that. Women couldn’t say no to their husbands legally until like the 50s, so historically men just took and did what they wanted before then. You could write something like that, but it wouldn’t be accurate.

A factor in the matter is that historically, our sexualization often ended in predation or sexual violence, so we’re very uncomfortable with the notion. Men historically experience far less negative experiences with sexualization, so I assume that’s why y’all are so unbothered with it. Don’t have a good supply of horror stories or bad endings to justify the vocalization of disliking sexualization.

What’s important is the immersion in a social hierarchy and learning to adapt as they shift and form as they get older. Really helpful to wash and dry the ones that can stand to be in room temp, and just leave them in a bowl out in the open on the counter. Really helps with that situation where you kinda want a snack but don’t know what to get. It’s washed, dried, and ready just on the counter.

Spring has sprung, ladies and gents! Fresh fruit everywhere you look in the grocery store! Guava, papaya, mango, dragonfruit (allergic, rip), kiwis, coconuts, passion fruit, giant grapes, melons, strawberries, cherries, pineapple, persimmons, you name it! Peaches are my favorite but they’re not in season right now, but I am overjoyed with the variety of produce right now. Mangos for mangonadas and a whole shelf dedicated to snacking fruit! Any produce this season you’re looking forward to?

You definitely described a lot of women. But I will say, there is a male counterpart to these women. It’s typically among men of high status. It’s the belief that your partner is a reflection of you, your status, and your success. Therefore, it’s typically it’s not disputed that she lean into materialism, narcissism, and caring about what others think, because he does as well. It’s like a subtle way of comparing dick sizes when your wife has the biggest rock at the celebration. I say let them pa…

Emotional eating maybe? Also refers to when someone doesn’t eat because of stress. But if it was long term, it’d be called anorexia, but not anorexia nervosa. Anorexia nervosa is the disorder, just plain anorexia is when you lose appetite from something like doing chemo or taking ADHD meds.

/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/24 04:44 PM

That has to do with morality, not attraction. We can’t answer that. Having money is a plus dating wise, but whether or not they’ll try to divorce rape you is entirely dependent on the individual woman.

So like, girls like you and you just can’t land them in bed or a relationship? Or girls don’t like you at all. Cause a combination of smart, hot, and nice face should be enough for women to flirt with you of their own volition. But then again, I don’t know how often you’re actually in a space where women are. If you were a CS major, you likely haven’t ran into very many through college, so you could genuinely just not know how women feel about you.

Well. Do you have a high bandwidth, and high speed WiFi, as well as very high performing PC with a high-end graphics card. Nice camera that actually looks at the very least, ok. What about a mic? Okay, this is a difference in the sexes then. Women do not do this typically. The ones who do and pull the “don’t worry about him” thing, have never actually viewed him as a friend and are lying to their men so she can cheat with him as she pleases. If a woman says you’re a friend, and she’s not flirting or trying to romance you, she’s not into you. Again, if I was attracted to and actually desired a man, why the fuck would I tell him he’s a friend while also not trying to initiate courting? Wom…

Is this a joke? Since when do people make friends based off their relationship potential? Is this further extrapolation of what men actually do? I’ve had male friends in the past before I realized the dogs they are, and we were never compatible in a relationship sense. Compatible men I would’ve had crushes on, and therefore NOT BEEN FRIENDS WITH. I will continue to stone wall men in any social context irl, I can’t stand this shit.

Most of my female friends are not aware that men will also view them as a woman first, and a friend second. Because most women will view a male friend as a friend first, and a man second. They can’t comprehend that they will never be removed from their sexuality in a man’s eyes. Call it ignorance or naivety, they just aren’t aware. And honestly, I wish I could go back to the days before I was made aware of this. It’s ruined male companionship for me, fueled misandrist thinking, and overall has j…

I already agreed that nothing will save ugly. It separates you from the men of the same looks rating. Yes, these people are a dime a dozen but the vast majority of them get laid. Surprise, surprise. The largest group in the population is having most of the sex that goes on. It’s almost like they have far more people, which means of course that’s gonna up the reporting of the sex. They have more people! A rate of 1 in 10, in a group of 100,000 will have 10,000 incidents while a group of 1000 will…

I would say you probably fall in line with black pill sympathizers if you really were as ugly as you say. That would’ve led you to definitely feel the weight of pretty privilege, and the importance of looks in day to day life. That’s where I think you fall into all of this.

I find that strange. I mean, go in any female dominated online space, and it’s an echo chamber of criticizing men for their (to us) childish and vapid interests like cars, sports, and Fortnite. And this isn’t a chronically online femcel level take, the normies on TikTok are saying it too. I’m not trying to invalidate your experience. I do know that if I still lived in my small hometown, men do get overlooked for not being interested in those things cause it’s the meta of the small town hive mind…

Those weird interests that women like in men I mentioned earlier? It’s basically a flag that says “I’m not typical guy, I have personality that isn’t centered around balls, both sports and my own!” It’s like when a woman has an intellectual interest and it signifies to men that she isn’t entirely consumed by vanity and thoughts about the latest TikTok trend.

Honestly ime, engineer success is like 50/50. Now computer science on the other hand…I will admit those men are struggling. But any other engineer, their success rates seem to be typical. If you’re butt ugly, you’re right, most things won’t save you. Thankfully, I don’t think most men are actually butt ugly, and it’s typically a combination of grooming, confidence, pessimism, neuroticism, and fear of rejection/being cancelled that’s holding them back the most. Nerdy is not a niche. Comics? Computer science? Anime? Mathematics? History? Chemistry? Economics? For example: my niche that I’m primarily attracted to is pale men with dark hair preferably black, dark eyes preferably black, wear mainly black, listen to rock music, and are nerdy in any of the accepted categories: technology (think speakers, headphones, subwoofers), computers, AI, economics, chemistry, and mathematics. “Nerdy” doesn’t cut it.

Even if they had these discussions at the beginning, a mid 20s person would’ve started a 5 year long relationship around the age of 20. I wouldn’t say a 20 year old is guaranteed to want the same things in life 5 years later. Around my age, people are changing drastically each year as we gain more life experience. What I wanted in life at 19 is far different than what I currently want at 21, and I would bet good money that there would be something changed about what I want at 23.

I would argue there’s also a psychological component as well, since most psychologists take the stance of “soft determinism” which is essentially, just that it’s a mixture of free will and determinism. Think how health outcomes are shaped by both genetics (represents determinism in the metaphor) and day to day habits (represents free will).

Regarding literature, it’s pretty unclear. It’s well documented that PCOS women are more likely to view themselves as androgynous vs non-PCOS. However, when an incredibly large amount of FtM are PCOS, and it’s documented that PCOS pushes women to not identify with the traditional gender scheme they are born into, it creates enough suspicion that it should be looked more heavily into, which I can only assume is actively happening given the popularity and controversy of the topic. You would see that there is a higher population of trans men with PCOS That’s the point Hormone regulation towards their biological sex should first be the treatment, and maintained as it may take months to feel the mental effects of the hormonal regulation.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 04:12 AM

Gender dysphoria is actually incredibly common in women with PCOS due to hormonal imbalances and in some, the masculinizing symptoms such as hirsutism and male pattern hair loss. PCOS is an umbrella diagnosis, and I would bet a lot of money that these females would actually meet medical criteria for the diagnosis. And who’s “we” when you refer to treating trans patients?

I misinterpreted then. When I say people moved out of their parents house for college, I don’t assume it’s into a fraternity or sorority home since statistically, most students don’t live in those. So you’re telling me that parents who are reporting for the children that live with them, is going to account for adult children who do not live with them and therefore is not in their household which the census is specifically asking about people living in it? My current boyfriend also started living in his own 1 bed 1 bath at the age of 20, coming from a shared apartment that he moved to when he was 18. Some people have more nuanced issues that aren’t as easily solved, and therefore yelling at someone to take action on a problem that doesn’t have such a clear cut, easy to find solution such as yours, isn’t very helpful. I’m glad you take pride in your problems being easy to fix.

Everyone is a victim in one way or another. No one lives a life free of flaws and cons. Your inability to grasp this concept is concerning. Would you like me to invalidate your mental issues because there’s people on the verge of dying from medical issues in the world? Because that’s what you’re doing to these men.

Oh look a woman with terrible reading comprehension skills, intent on not understanding or empathizing with men in any capacity, even as she bends backwards to make a fool of herself and indirectly attack every social group who fought using violence to change their surroundings in the process. He never said violence is the answer to get what they want, and you intentionally misconstrued it as such because of your preconceived intentions when writing this post. You’re doing it again.

Just a preface, you didn’t give me any personality information, only financial, so this reply will only be financial reasoning. I, personally, as someone who is incredibly concerned about worst case scenarios financially after a house fire where everything was lost in my teens, would absolutely be open to dating someone like this. Here’s why: Someone who is receiving a passive income of 150k, on a fixed lifestyle, has the freedom and opportunity to basically get hit on the chin with almost any f…

This did not make the point you wanted it to. You basically just called any group that is struggling with an issue and resorted to violence to change their current situation pathetic. Do you understand how widely those implications are applied? And on top of that, you completely ignored his point about not doing it do as to not disrupt women’s current lives.

Areas that were originally safe spaces to build community and friendship amongst men have become overtaken by women. There are essentially no male only spaces anymore due to it being seen as socially unacceptable. As a woman you might not know this, but a someone has told me that when a woman enters the room, any meaningful conversation ends. <— I find that to be incredibly true, and is why they need their own spaces, yet this is incredibly difficult since the current hive mentality is that male…

I’ve done some promiscuous things online with strangers when I was a teen, and unfortunately, when you are someone who is low self esteem and confidence, receiving just a little validation and desire that was thrown your way can feel like a drug. You want to keep it coming and you want to feel it stronger, and you can lose yourself in the rush. Yes, I may have received the initial validation when a flirty PM was sent my way, but a low self esteem and insecure woman with little self control will …

I think the key problem here is that the compromising wasn’t reciprocated therefore you were left feeling like you were trying too hard. I’m sorry you went through that, it must’ve been difficult dating someone who wouldn’t bend on what they wanted or take your wants into consideration. But that feeling emphasizes the need for compromise, but from BOTH parties, and not just one person.

The post was targeting men who think if they don’t get the “perfect” girl in every aspect, it’s settling and not worth it. There’s a big difference between giving up on ever dating Megan Fox and dating the bottom of the barrel disabled-fat-ugly 2 they found at the dumpster. However some people treat it like it’s the same thing. And I say people, because both sexes do it, I would even say women do it more these days or are at least the ones who do are more open about it. Back to the point, just t…

I have an opinion of what they should do instead, which kind of builds on your take. Instead of hunkering down into the niche they’re currently in, I think they should take note of the niche of women they are attracted to, and I mean, really get specific with it. Once you know, try to figure out the type of men those girls like. Boom, now you know your end goal. If you like normie women, with no specific niche regarding habits/dressing style/interests/personality traits, idk how to help you man,…

that opinion goes both ways. women view men as one entity due to cognitive dissonance of gender differences, and men view women as one entity due to cognitive dissonance of gender differences. ^ when I say this, put it into a context where we would be discussing something like average dating habits. we wouldn’t be discussing zoomed in, individual cases would we? we would be discussing the general habits of each sex, which requires generalization and therefor unification of sex into one entity ea…

mutual attraction is very important and since you specified that, im just going to go out on a limb and assume you are not the type of guy this post was targeting. your admittance of being able to compromise lets that be known.

hoeflation or whatever it’s called. with marriage being of no value anymore, there’s no 1-1 pairings and no reason for a woman to be better since there’s always plenty who will take her as she is since they also are suffering from the declining marriage rates and non-existing 1-1 pairings

I don’t think I would want half of everything, I would just want enough to maintain my children’s lifestyle as my career makes far less than his does and I wouldn’t be able to cover all the bills on my own. As long as I get to keep the house (assuming I have the kids) and we come to an agreement that he’ll pick up my slack financially whether that be child support, alimony, or directly paying for extracurriculars, etc. If the youngest isn’t in at least high school yet, I would try my damndest to…

Personally, I am not planning it fully, but my boyfriend has brought it up and I’m fine with the idea. Why? 1.) I would never do so without a pre-nup to our marriage (thus before we have kids because i believe in abortion) saying that half of everything is his is mine should we get divorced, including his retirement since I wouldn’t have the years of working to plan my own 2.) he makes enough money and is financially literate enough to do number one, 3.) I am not someone who can both work and ta…

To have that type of love, you need to have intimacy, passion, and commitment. Reason why it’s so rare is because most relationships lack one or more of those qualities. Wife doesn’t put out or husband struggles to show affection, there goes intimacy. Either one of them stops, or simply doesn’t, work on themselves or their surroundings to be the best they can be for the other; welp there goes passion. And in a relationship without intimacy or passion, how can you expect someone to realistically …

Example: I had an ex who struggled with “delayed ejaculation” (you’ll see why it’s in quotations momentarily) but this only started 2 years into our relationship which was 1 whole year of having sex already. He went from being able to go 2-3 rounds in a day to once a week if I powered through the pain of an hour or two of sex, and sometimes even then he couldn’t orgasm. The reason? Mf started watching porn all day and couldn’t keep his hand out of his pants once we both went off to college. Now …

My viewpoint as a woman is that he’d be better off with the 30 year old woman. Why? Quite a few reasons actually, and the first two are completely non-sexual. 1. Like someone else said above, younger women who date older men usually are interested in the fact that they have lived more life than them. Whether that means well traveled, well studied, or just lots of general life experience. Those types of women (ahem, me) like to hear the stories their man tells them and like to receive help from h…

he sets off my mentally unstable radar. he doesn’t just look like the “bad boy type”, he looks like he’d have a fun relationship at first, then become emotionally distant, gaslight and manipulate the chick, ruin her self esteem, but then threaten to kill himself if she ever left. i don’t think any mentally stable woman would swipe right.

by most people’s standards we’re both average, but by our own standard’s we’re both 8s because we’re each other’s type. despite this i only matched with him because he favorited me and i was bored. his profile was vague, boring, and because he’s attractive i made the assumption he was stupid (he proved me wrong however).

I think the description of “shabby house with good bones” is a metaphor about looks, not overall value. If you’re above average attractiveness, yea don’t let somebody gaslight you, but I think the assumption is that most of the men on this subreddit are not above average attractiveness.
