Why is this not the top comment? Alcohol withdrawal is nothing to fuck with and TRP is not the place to be dishing out medical advice. Best of luck to OP but go see an MD.

In college, I called this the Target test... if you bought your clothes at Target (because you were a broke ass college kid) and you still got complements on what you were wearing, "where's it from?" etc. etc. you passed. ...nobody really complements your clothes. They just complement the way you look in them.

First things first... Use a foam roller or a softball or anything else you can use to mash anything that's sore. You don't need to overdo it, but this is a great way to help muscles recover. Do some dynamic stretching that includes all of the major muscle groups you will be using in the workout. Do a little cardio. Maybe a quarter to half-mile run at a decent pace. Just something to get the blood flowing and loosen up. Air squats first, or some warm-up reps with light weight. This is a must if y…

I feel that. Had one of those "maybe it's time to chill" moments myself climbing Hood this past summer.

the girls there were pretty damn cute too. And those cute girls love it when noobs come into the gym too. Especially if you're already fit. Asking for help on this or that technique or footwork let's the girls show off a bit and could easily land you with some digits.

I'd agree with all of this. Bouldering is generally more social; This is a great point, one I often overlook when talking about climbing. From an RP lens, I should point out that it's fucking impossible to flirt with someone when you're climbing or belaying ropes.

The risk just makes life a little bit more beautiful. Climbing is the greatest drug- you will never even feel the crash. Are you still climbing now?

Letting loose, having fun, feeling the music and getting out of your own head that no body gives a shit or is judging you or your dancing will give you much better results. Holy shit, yes. Dance, and if you can't dance, dance like a goddamn idiot. If you are having fun and confidently owning your shitty awkward moves, you will be miles ahead of the other guys posted up in the corner.

dates should be activity-based. It blows my goddamn mind how readily this advice is ignored. I can almost guarantee nobody has asked her to do anything physical on a date before. Take advantage. Make her sweat. Go play tennis. Tell her you're going on a jog with the dog- ask her to join. Invite her to go rock climbing. Take her out on the lake canoeing. Whatever. Just get her active. If you are even decently active you can get away with looking fit and generating some interest going on an active…

Totally unfamiliar with the 'prepper' niche but i'm intrigued. Is Survival Podcast more practical knowledge or thermonuclear-apocalypse proselytization?

Thanks for this. I could be mistaken but I think Mating Grounds is a Tucker Max podcast. If the podcast is half as entertaining as his books it might be worth a listen. I've heard good things about Jacko podcast. Marcus Luttrell and David Rutherford (also SEALs) have one too but it's super cheesy at times.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
