Well I don’t care which parent it is she should be just as financially involved as a father who does The same would be

Do you really think it would be fair for a father to decide when his child is say 7 or 8 I really don’t like their mum, I’m no longer going to help financially support the kid until their 18?

I do agree that the language is outdated but in the UK rape is penetration of the vagina or anus by a penis to anyone, it’s gender neutral, if someone penetrates someone else in the vagina or anus with anything other than a penis it’s assault by penetration.

Who are they in relationships with?

Does the women’s feelings not have anything to do with it at all?

In general you feel so much more strongly as a teenager about everything or find it harder to control your reactions to how you feel, you’re feeling things for the first time, your hormones are all over the place and you tend to think no one feels the way you do or has ever felt like this before. I’m sure I acted ridiculous about someone I liked when I was 18 but they are incomparable in every way to my partner now.

I don’t think I have read one comment in this thread which talks about looks, it’s almost as though it isn’t actually the most important thing in a successful relationship? And most of the comments are from women.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/22 05:12 AM

Why settle for someone who doesn’t tick your boxes? I pay my own bills, enjoy my own hobbies etc I love my boyfriend more than anything but I don’t need him, I want him and I hope he feels the same about me. Having each other in life is a nice bonus I wouldn’t have a partner just for the sake of having one.

But if she is with you and not him did you not, for lack of a better word, win?

So it wasn’t in the past year then?

I’m a white woman so theoretically he is my type but he isn’t at all. I agree there are people who are universally appealing I just don’t think this guy is a great example. I wouldn’t consider it a masculine face. Steve Buscemi has his admirers though! Honestly sex appeal is a whole different kettle of fish than good looks.

Does that not prove that sexual appeal is different for most people, like I can say yes Brad Pitt has a handsome face regardless of wether I personally find him attractive but this guy has a weird shaped face and a very small mouth. I’m sure some people find him attractive but I wouldn’t say he has an objectively handsome face.

It seems like you’re the one shaming men that are looking for relationships or are happy in them as much as shaming women for just being apparently. Honestly, I discovered this subreddit this morning and I’ve just been intrigued. I personally love to see anyone succeed and be happy in life, I could be wrong though but you don’t give off the impression of being happy, I hope you are though. Good luck to you!

Good for you, it just seems you spend a lot of time on Reddit giving off about women for someone who is happy with their life.

Lol okay and how is that going for you?

I don’t think it’s that hard obviously this is anecdotal as well but I have a close friendship group of myself and three other girls, three of us are in long term relationships(two are engaged) and none of us met our partners online. The only people I know who actually use online dating don’t really use it for meeting people it’s more like some weird game. I’ve never had it so I don’t get it at all. My boyfriend had tinder before we met but he says he never met anyone on it and his friends don’t…

My boyfriend is my best friend and if one of us is having a tough time the other helps out, we both support each other and enjoy the time we spend together. Madness I know.

At best it’s a bit cringe and at worst it seems pretty dangerous. Finding these groups online and the draw of reading about them is somewhat similar to wanting to read about true crime.

I’m not trying to be argumentative but I don’t think this guy is particularly attractive

I wondered did the world wide pandemic have anything to do with this?

So women wearing makeup laugh at other women wearing makeup? What does this have to do with men?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/21 09:45 AM

Then they’re both wrong, what is your point?

A good sense of humour?

So why do they wear makeup to hang out with other women?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/21 09:10 AM

Don’t they?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/21 08:58 AM

I didn’t say they necessarily wore them for themselves, the other poster did. Honestly, sometimes it just feels nice to get dressed up fancy. I was replying that women don’t just wear them because they are hoping to be found my a good man. If that was the case only single woman would wear makeup and dress up nice. Projecting much? ETA: plenty of people wear makeup when they’re alone too just do you know

Avoiding responsibility for what? Putting on makeup and dressing up?
/r/seduction18/06/21 06:25 PM

That isn’t why women wear makeup and dress up lol

Well yeah that’s true but they didn’t introduce us, he just asked him who I was. The point is that a basic greeting and generic questions aren’t necessarily boring. You don’t need a game plan which comes accrues as inauthentic and very off putting

You’ve articulated what I’ve been trying to say much better than I did.

I just think out right asking is grand. Sometimes I think people over think it. A guy walking up saying hi, asking about your night and asking what you’re in to is just fine. When they come up and start trying to be smooth it’s a bit cringy. You’ll either be into them or you won’t.

Humour obviously always works. I think authenticity is the main thing. Maybe it’s because you’re giving another guy advice it’s going to sound formulaic. Sometimes you can just tell a guy is “trying” and it’s really off putting. Just being upfront and funny is the best. My boyfriend came up to me shook my hand, introduced himself and said that our mutual friend had told him about one of my hobbies. He then left to go to another bar and sent me an add on social media. It was short and sweet but v…

We’ll have to agree to disagree, every example you have given so far doesn’t seem like something that would appeal to any of my friends or me.

Why make assumptions at all, just go say hey and ask her what brings her out tonight or something.

No offence but if a guy said to me you look like you’re the type of girl who gets her nails done twice a week or that you like pampering up because I’m wearing pink I would prob immediately assume you were a complete sleaze. Rightly or wrongly, it’s just something some slime ball would say at a bar.

I mean by the time you go on holiday with a girlfriend you will know each other pretty well so a girl who doesn’t like your conversation style probably won’t be your girlfriend long enough to go on one (or at all) I don’t really know how else to respond to this lol I can’t speak for our cultural differences to be fair

Can you compare a holiday with a “whiny” aunt to a holiday with a girlfriend?
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen28/01/21 08:53 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
