I don’t know how I’m supposed to argue against someone who says they didn’t say something that they said. Your whole gripe with women “being passed around” is that they’re engaging in sex consensually with multiple men. If they were raped, you wouldn’t have a problem with them, right? But since they engage in the act consensually, it’s only a problem then. You’re perpetuating rape culture. You just don’t acknowledge it, but that’s exactly what slut shaming is.

You’re playing the rapist and predator card.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 04:46 PM

there's nothing wrong with having consensual sex, and the fact you think there is, is exactly why women like me find male sexuality repulsive. You see it as an inherently degrading act. You shame women for enjoying it consensually, and only deem it permissible when we are hesitant / inexperienced towards it. It's rapey and gross.

I think men have a dysfunctional relationship with sex and women are the main ones caught in the cross hairs for that dysfunction. That's the part that's disgusting.

no, they're not.

Grown man doesn’t know how consent works and thinks it’s funny. Y’all are cooked.

Hey, so this is rape.
/r/MensRights13/12/25 06:29 AM

Men are also perfectly capable of seeking out consent.
/r/MensRights13/12/25 06:28 AM

I’m baffled that you don’t know what consent is yet insist upon having sex. This is really bad.
/r/MensRights13/12/25 06:27 AM

This is getting worse and worse.
/r/MensRights13/12/25 06:26 AM

Men really shouldn’t be having sex if they don’t understand how consent works. No one should. You should take this as a learning moment and be grateful she doesn’t further press this.

What is this “regretting sex” thing that men come up with in their heads? You seem to think it’s a common thing, but doesn’t that suggest that there’s something so awful about men that women would regret sleeping with them? It seems like a self own, and a sidestep of the actual problem.
/r/MensRights13/12/25 06:20 AM

Lots of women don’t want those things

I will not make men’s access to women easier until men are better people.

you can have human connection without having sex. these are terrible arguments.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 03:24 AM

it's actually not uncomfortable at all. If a man needs sex so bad that he dies if he doesn't get it, oh well then. It's not my responsibility to compromise my bodily autonomy for someone else's survival.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 03:19 AM

can't the same exact thing be said for how men here talk about women?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 09:21 PM

This doesn't sound like a modern man this just sounds like a man throughout the ages.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 09:18 PM

Is it about women's design, or more about the fact that many men just aren't up to par?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 09:17 PM

i'm not following. why would this need to be lied about? I'm not under the assumption most, or even many men will meet my standards. It was always going to be a diamond in the rough.

You’re not a good person.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 10:04 PM

You can have love and a sense of belonging without sex. I'm sorry, but I'm just not buying it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 08:45 PM
1

Yes. It is. And you all know it is. Hence why you are owed NOTHING. You don't get to perpetuate / turn a blind eye to your own bullshit then wonder why people aren't blindly supporting you. No one wants you to stand up for us, at this point, we just want you to leave us the hell alone. Has it ever occurred to you that many of you simply deserve to be hated? When you start being better people, the hate will stop. It's as simple as that.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 08:04 PM

Why would it be alongside eating and breathing? That makes no sense. Maybe in terms of "reproducing" in order to keep the species going, sure, but outside of that? I don't see the reasoning. Wanting something really badly doesn't mean it's a need.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 08:00 PM

we have more similarities than differences. you would need to provide evidence that men need sex on a physiological level before people just blindly believe it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 07:56 PM

Well, he didn’t dodge the bullet since he was cheated on and hurt.
/r/Divorce_Men27/05/24 05:44 PM

How is not having sex compared to living in dangerous sub par conditions?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 05:41 PM
1

Sex is not a physiological need. Orgasms are good for you and should be had, but you don’t need to have sex to do that. There are virgins who exist and are fine without having sex. Like I said, it just sounds like you have addiction issues tbh
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 05:39 PM
1

The shit men perpetuate is still ongoing and not in the past. Y’all’s blindness to your current failures is why people care less and less about your issues.

Or maybe what you’re saying is nonsense ♥️

You need to be educated in order to educate. Make a podcast and scam impressionable boys if you want “spread your knowledge” so badly.

A good man, or good people in general, are those who take personal accountability for their actions, and who try to do good instead of making excuses to do bad. They don’t see good deeds as transactional. They are not entitled to people’s admiration and affection. They are authentic, genuine, try to improve themselves and help others when needed because of solid morals and goals for a peaceful existence. The men here largely do not fit that description.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 02:13 AM
1

Fiscal, leadership, and safety opportunities that allow them to navigate society more freely than women can. The only limitations men have are in areas that are predominated by women because god forbid men are associated with anything feminine, which is a largely self-inflicted issue. Oh and sure, y’all don’t have as much sex as women. That’s it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 02:09 AM
1

Frothing at the mouth over crusty old people preying on young people is a reasonable response, actually. Misogyny as I’m using it here is y’all’s unwillingness to see women as people with value beyond sex, and mayyybe romance, but mostly sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 02:06 AM

You think getting into a club is a societal opportunity. You’re the unserious person here. Go away.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 02:04 AM
1

Sorry, but I can’t take any of this seriously when men keep getting granted opportunities that women have to fight twice as hard to get.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 02:03 AM
1

Well they’re wrong then, because the bad people are the entitled misogynists who are allergic to taking personal accountability. Side note, unless you’re young yourself, maybe lust after people your own age and you’ll have better success.

Lol what a bunch of half baked truths. so low paying jobs, sex work, and clubs, got it, really scraping the bottom of the barrel there. plenty of men are in sex work. If you really wanted to do it, you would. and the only reason more women have more success is because men buy their work Maybe stop participating in the thing that’s creating an imbalance for you. I think treating women as incubators and bangmaids speaks to perceived expendability as well. I like how y’all quite literally think that because women have access to more sex than men, that means we’re valued as human beings. We are not, and the very men in this subreddit prove that every day
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 01:48 AM

What the devil are you going on about
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 01:37 AM

I made it clear what kind of men I do and don’t have empathy for. Yes, both genders contribute to gender roles, that doesn’t mean these roles weren’t created by men and for men. Feminists have been telling y’all for decades that patriarchal constructs need to come to an end, that’s literally the only way these problems will stop, but if men want to continue plugging their ears and blaming everyone else, I quite frankly don’t know what else can be done for them, nor do I care.

Men have more societal opportunities and respect than women, and I’m not sure why y’all are playing pretend as if they don’t. It is what it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 01:30 AM

Only good men with accountability are owed empathy. Idk what else to tell you.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 01:09 AM

idk maybe be better people and stop being the predators of the species? Maybe centuries of reinforcing the idea that men shouldn’t show emotions, need to be conquerors, and ought to put women in their place has eventual negative consequences? Like, I’m sorry no one is thinking of the poor men, but men complain about shit that they’ve literally done to themselves. Like, you got your cake, so eat it. The only men I care about are the ones who actually make an effort to be good people and take pers…

Nope, I’m well on task. women are still underpaid and underrepresented in most high paying / leadership positions. When that changes, we can chat ♥️

Only good people deserve empathy as far as I’m concerned. Men need to fix their perception of what love means. If it means being entitled to women’s time and affection, mistreating them, disrespecting them, relegating them to being your bangmaids, etc. then you deserve to be alone
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 12:56 AM

It has to do with my point that women aren’t valued beyond their looks while men are. Keep up.

Women having something men want doesn't mean their lives are universally easier. Men have things women want too, but men rarely if ever want to acknowledge that.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 11:54 PM

To be fair, the men here have no empathy for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 11:54 PM

no one said it doesn't fit into the puzzle, only that the puzzle is made up of more pieces than that. The point of life is to live. There are a variety of ways to do that which don't involve sex and relationships. I genuinely worry men don't seem to realize that.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 11:47 PM

honest feedback, you need to learn how to speak to people. i did not cast the first stone, i commented on your unnecessarily rude response to the other person when you diminished their viewpoint as "bullshit". Clearly, you lack self awareness to the point of not seeing how you come off, but you don't get to insult people like a child and then absolve yourself by calling that "debate'. Where I'm from, debate requires a civil and respectful exchange of ideas, not middle school-type flailing and pe…

Yep, and men overrepresent them. Glad you agree, Piss Hands. Now stop talking to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 04:45 AM

Nope. That might be your argument, but my argument is whether alcohol is accounted for or not, men are still largely the glaring problem when it comes to rape. It’s pretty concerning regardless how you shake it.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 04:35 AM

Familial rape, child rape, random assault rape, are all predominated by men.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 04:26 AM

I think men feel contempt towards women and womanhood, while women feel resentment towards men.

contempt and resentment aren't the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/24 08:42 PM

i mean, men overrepresent rape statistics even when excluding intoxication altogether, so there's still very much a reason to perceive them as the problem within this topic.

y'all love replying to comments with "bullshit" then saying absolutely nothing of value after.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/24 08:36 PM

wait is that's what's being asked here? if women would stop having sex if it meant no sexual assault? i'm so confused by the aims of this post
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/24 08:32 PM

i guess it's different for everyone, but i don't know if i fully agree either. romance and romantic love can exist without the inclusion of sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/24 08:30 PM

yeah no, what would be the upside to this for women?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/24 08:28 PM

Not doughy physique. Doughy muscly. I don’t know how else to describe it. The muscles are there, but they’re not super bulging or you can’t see every single defined ab (I’ve seen his other shirtless scenes in different projects, so I’m certain it’s not just the lighting lol)
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 01:49 PM

You can’t get on him for worshipping women when you yourself acknowledge that men are overly desperate and “scramble for any woman they can get”. Self respect. It’s important. Get some.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 03:27 PM

Why do you feel the need to continuously compare these issues to dating?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 03:20 AM
1

You didn’t address a single point I just made. I’m not out of touch, I simply don’t care. Sorry the world is so horrible for men that they can no longer club women over the head and drag them back to their caves, but those days are done. The standards are different now. Men need to either evolve and adapt, or get left behind.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 07:34 PM
2

First, the women in my life who are in relationships are just with regular guys who happen to be decent people. This narrative of women having “insanely high standards” is meaningless until you A) actually define what those standards are and B) prove that the average woman has them. From where I’m sitting, our standards aren’t insanely high, it’s just that many men are subpar. Second, you’re not special enough for a person’s self worth to be dependent on whether you personally want to fuck them …
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 07:22 PM
2

Corporations exploiting poor people isn’t comparable to dating. Lol. You don’t need to date in order to eat and survive. Seriously, some men need to get over themselves. The world doesn’t owe you pussy and romance. Learn to love yourself and maybe you’ll be less bitter about people exercising their freedom of choice. If you want to be chosen, level up and be the person that they’ll choose. If it doesn’t work out, get a hobby. Get a dog. There’s more to life and fulfillment than dating. Otherwise…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 07:06 PM
2

Women having freedom of choice isn’t bad. You want us to be desperate and have zero standards and choose any schmuck just so you don’t feel left out. I think that makes you the bad guy. And it’s compounded by hypocrisy, because women who don’t have as many standards are called whores or are blamed when they select horrible abusive men as partners. There’s quite literally no winning with you people. You just hate the fact women have autonomy, that’s all these stupid conversations come down to.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 06:53 PM
1

Women being picky isn’t unreasonable. Again, it indicates a problem with the pool of people they’re picking from.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 06:46 PM
2

I’m just saying that men not looking at themselves as the problem is a tale as old as time. If women have all the access to men at their fingertips, yet so many men still complain about not being able to date, I think that indicates a problem with men. Not women.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 06:40 PM
6

Honestly, I’m with you. But I kinda like the idea of defining these things for myself, since they don’t have any objective meaning to begin with
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 06:03 PM
2

Before social media, it was tv. Before tv, it was radio. Before radio, it was books. All things accused by men of warping women’s minds and making romantic prospects difficult. I’m just saying, this conversation is nothing new, and it would appear there is one common denominator through it all that is probably the actual problem. Occam’s Razor and all that.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 04:27 PM
3

Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 04:24 PM

Yeah no, I’m not the one with a warped view of history. you’ve been steaming in the echochambers for too long.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 04:24 PM

“In the short term” reading is a gift. And no one said anything about being a victim, men have systematically subjugated and brutalized women and you’re still talking about brutalizing women. It is what it is, my guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 04:18 PM

well this reply surprised and touched me, and I'm glad you're on a journey of rediscovery. We're all just trying to figure life out, so I'm happy my perspective could help you. /r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 07:10 AM

they died for the government body telling them to go to war. men abused women to the point a whole movement had to be made in response, which is what actually gave women rights. Not men. You really like to just talk out your ass. Take it to an echo chamber that will listen. I'm not the one.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 07:04 AM
5

beating people up isn't power. it's just defaulting to basic means to get what you want in the short term. People with actual power don't need to come to blows. Even the soldiers you glorify are just meat sacks following someone else's orders. Cogs in the wheels with muscles. Pack mules. It's meaningless.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 07:01 AM
20

you're saying a bunch of nothing. Any constrictions women face in regards to service is because of men. You don't get to strip women of their right to choose then turn around and say you're doing them a favor. Men decided that. Not women. And yes, men are afraid of women voting, which is why you have men still squawking about repealing the 19th. Any monkey can beat a person up that doesn't mean anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 05:30 AM

"Men fought to protect women" they did not. They subjugated and brutalized women at every turn.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 05:29 AM

Yeah, I agree with this for the most part. To sexist people, femininity = inferior/subservient, and I'm not about that. So I define my femininity for myself. I think that's how most people should go about defining masculinity and femininity, regardless their gender. It should be on their terms, not others'

/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 05:23 AM

masculinity and femininity are traits that anyone can have, regardless their gender. women don't decide what they mean, and men don't decide what they mean. Culture decides.

Remember how your dad could pay for school working part time No? And idk, men have been complaining about their inability to attract women for as long as I've been alive. Maybe the problem is with them, the common denominator.

You really ignored what was said and went off on your own make believe argument. As I said, read a book.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 03:28 PM

You don’t even know what logical means. You’re welcome to actually explain your reasoning, but otherwise, plugging your ears and going “nuh uh” isn’t going to work. Sorry.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 02:55 PM

I’ve already explained my reasoning so I don’t need to repeat myself. You either get it or you don’t. The end.

Okay, but when I mentioned the hypothetical, I was talking about the hypothetical. Not the statement that men are more dangerous than bears, which isn’t even the crux of what people are saying.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 04:21 AM
1

It doesn’t. But there’s limitations to what bears can do to people. At the very worst, a bear will eat you alive, leave your entrails strewn about the forest floor, come back to pick your bones as you slowly asphyxiate on your own blood. Horrendous, yes. Wouldn’t recommend it on most days. But to some people, a strange man can potentially do worse. Because unlike bears, humans have imagination, and to some people, there are some things worse than death. What it comes down to, and what men are mi…

No, you’re not being disrespectful. And it will always vary from person to person, culture to culture, but in my views, there’s a certain amount of living and experiences a person needs to do before they truly become an adult. Most people at 18-20 haven’t had those experiences, especially not those of a 30 or 40 year old. This puts them at mental, emotional, and practical disadvantages compared to people who are older and have had more practice being human beings. A young person is less likely t…

A controlled environment allows a great deal more options for women when dealing with strange men than an uncontrolled environment does.

You can’t grasp the basic mechanics of this hypothetical. I doubt any minds will be changed.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 03:34 AM

And?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 03:32 AM

The environment is the point of the hypothetical. I know critical thinking is hard, but it’s sad you can’t even muster an attempt.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 03:31 AM
1

Then stop squawking at me.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 03:28 AM
1

No, it’s asking whether you would be alone in an uncontrolled environment with a man or a bear. This is the third time I’m saying it. For the logical gender, you really seem to have trouble retaining information.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 03:27 AM
1

The hypothetical is about an uncontrolled environment. I quite literally just said this.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 03:25 AM
1

For the record, defaulting to sexist views of women isn’t doing your demographic any favors lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 03:24 AM

Not the point of the hypothetical.

Yes, I’m aware.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 03:23 AM

Women saying things you don’t like doesn’t mean they’re being illogical.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 03:15 AM
1

Well that’s not the point of the hypothetical. It calls out an uncontrolled environment like a forest for a reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 03:12 AM
1

Why
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 03:11 AM
1

Yeah true on the last point, I never implied predators come in one variety though. Not all men are predators, but most men who look for insecure qualities in women probably are.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 03:11 AM
1

What do you think being predatory means?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 03:09 AM
1

Ngl idk what you’re disagreeing with. My point has been clear and men have a number of grievances towards women, yes, which includes women being picky, but also they’re angry that women have more dating prospects. The latter is what my replies are based on. Idk what else to tell you.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 03:08 AM
2

The folks in female dating strategy don’t represent “almost every women” anymore than the men here represent almost every man. I see your point about men having different takes on what traditional means. That is certainly true. For the sake of the convo though, my post refers to traditional as commonly defined here in this subreddit and similar subreddits.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 02:42 AM
1

And women make their own money
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 02:39 AM

Nope, still sus.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 02:38 AM
2

The person I was talking to made the Mai. Point that insecure women have more options than insecure men. I don’t see how my argument is consistent when that’s the only thing I was replying to.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 02:36 AM
1

Are you disagreeing with me? I can’t tell.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 02:33 AM
1

Well I’m not. This is just a Reddit thread. I have no reason to lie. Think what you want though.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 02:31 AM
5

You can’t read.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 08:28 PM
1

Cool. You’re still a predator.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 08:27 PM
1

No. It’s not if you are lacking dating prospects set more boundaries, it’s if you’re angry that women have more dating opportunities because men keep giving them those opportunities, then maybe men should stop giving them the opportunities. I don’t understand how so many of you can’t seem to grasp this. You’re complaining about something that is largely self inflicted.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 08:24 PM
4

It’s something that can’t be reconciled. Why are you as a seasoned adult pursuing people who are just barely adults? There will always be an implicit imbalance imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 08:22 PM
2

Bitterness about what?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 08:20 PM
1

I don’t want a younger man.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 08:20 PM
1

No. Not sure how you came to that conclusion. Anyone who actively pursues people who are significantly younger than them, especially younger than 25, are sus.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 08:20 PM
6

If you’re a 40 old dating a teenager, you’re a predator.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 03:32 PM
5

Socially-adjusted people don’t agree with you, sorry.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 03:27 PM
5

So the me too movement isn’t just about rape, it’s about sexual exploitation. A 21-year old “smoke show” is just a young person probably underpaid, and desperate to be in this competitive field and has virtually no power compared to the rich and influential industry leaders who have all the say on the trajectory of their career. So let’s get that dynamic straight first of all. Second, people shouldn’t trade sex for success, I think that goes without saying. More pertinently, people shouldn’t coe…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 03:22 PM
2

My B point is not useless because the point is that men are making it difficult for themselves. The outcome for insecure people is the same: being disliked and stayed away from. Men just take the more roundabout journey to get to that conclusion with insecure women because they have a difficult time saying no upfront. Like most things in this genre of discourse, the dating gap between women and men would not be as wide if men actually bothered to set up boundaries for themselves the way women do…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 03:11 PM
-2

It’s not moving the goalposts. I understand that women get more dates than men period, regardless if they’re confident or not, so that’s not really a revelation. But the outcome of those dates with insecure women is important because it indicates men don’t actually like insecure women either, they’re just not immediately upfront with that dislike the way women are towards insecure men.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 03:03 PM
0

I didn’t get any dates.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 03:01 PM
1

Well actually no, I was speaking colloquially. I didn’t get any dates as a teenager and young adult.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 03:01 PM
1

So, I know you’re saying that men don’t care about low self esteem, but my literal argument is that some men very much do. Like, I don’t know how else to say it, but yes. Yes they do. Lol. That’s why they’re considered predators. I didn’t say they’re a majority, in fact I said the opposite. That the average man is not scrutinizing women for these qualities that coincide with insecurity. But it still happens. As far as intentionality goes, some are intentional with it, and as another user replied…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 02:49 PM
4

Yes, insecure women can be controlling and quite abusive themselves. But many times, that’s not what the outcome is, especially not in the cases where these relationships started because men actively sought out women with insecure qualities. I mean, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we’re speaking synonyms here. You’re describing men who who look for someone who is always going agree with them and cater to everything they want, and I’m describing men who are looking for insecure women. It…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 08:11 AM
5

my main point is that there’s not a bunch of insecure women in happy healthy relationships. People in general don’t like unmanaged insecurity, women are just more honest about it. Men either trick themselves into thinking they are then get smacked with the reality of what that entails and dip, or, for the men who actively seek out insecure women, those men are probably predators, and I wouldn’t consider them viable options for women. If men had a more realistic perception of what it means to hav…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 07:54 AM
12

Why are you so bothered by abusive men in positions of power being held accountable?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 07:46 AM
13

But they do do that though. There are indeed men who heavily scrutinize women for the previously mentioned traits. Yes, of course dating a person who happens to be insecure isn’t an immediate sign of predation, but if a man is actively looking for such traits in women, then he is A) definitely doing lots of overthinking, and B) is probably a predator.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 07:41 AM
1

No, you said a woman could be as insecure as possible, and still get lots of dates. My point is that, A) that isn’t always true, and B) getting dates doesn’t equate to substantial relationships. So it’s not an endless stream of options as you’re suggesting and men don’t actually like insecure women as much as they let on. Anytime someone tries to introduce some gray to these black and white declarations, you people deem it as “nothing”. Heavens forbid we have a nuanced conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 07:31 AM
12

Then read my original comment. Intentionally seeking out insecure people is what predators do. It’s not misandrist to say that. The average man isn’t doing those things, which aligns with your first paragraph. The remainder of my first reply pertains to how women perceive ND / insecure men.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 07:28 AM
12

“Hollywood provides plenty of examples” oh, you mean that commercial conglomerate that is literally paid to warp the populace’s perception of a skewed reality for profit on a regular basis? Yeah, let’s base our worldview and values on that. Edit: just read the rest of your comment. You’re out of your mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 07:20 AM
7

They shouldn’t have to, I’m a big proponent of certain people avoiding any and all contact with other people. But in turn, don’t pretend to be an expert on the people you never engage with lol
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 07:17 AM
11

I’m confused by what you’re disagreeing with. Men who don’t overthink why they’re attracted to a woman aren’t over analyzing women’s age, submissiveness, agreeability, etcetera. How is that a controversial statement? It directly supports your original point about the average man not overthinking these things.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 07:12 AM
-1

Where did I say that? Are you even reading my responses?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 07:05 AM
2

Women don’t want difficult men either lol. Again, insecure women might get more dates than insecure men, but that’s because women, regardless their personality traits, will get more dates than men in general. The real measure of what you’re talking about comes down to how these relationships pan out, and as I said, they usually don’t. At least not well.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 07:02 AM
-2

I was not confident and didn’t get many dates growing up. In general, some insecure women might get dates, but how many of those dates are blossoming into functioning relationships? Now that I’m in my late 20’s, I understand that men don’t really enjoy insecure women as much as they claim. They enjoy the idea, but not the outcome. Deeply insecure people, regardless your gender and which way you swing, swiftly become a chore. The clinginess, the lack of agency, the indecisiveness. Many men don’t …

I have a grudge against predators, yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 06:51 AM

It’s crazy that unwashed men who don’t speak more than five words to women on a yearly average have the gall to judge half the species for daring to live past the age of 30.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 06:50 AM
31

Probably because us old hags were once young and preyed upon too, so we know what it feels like and don’t want it to be repeated. It’s called empathy. Crazy concepts, I know

-6

This isn’t as true as what you’re suggesting.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 06:44 AM
17

I dunno. I think many men are definitely predatory and look for certain signs of insecurity in women they can prey upon. It’s largely the ones who harp excessively on women’s submissiveness, age, and agreeability whilst misrepresenting those traits as “feminine”. I do think the average, well-adjusted man simply doesn’t think too much about those things and will likely vibe with a variety of personality types regardless. As far as women’s take on ND men, it’d hard to say without lumping everyone …

This is really interesting, but I don’t see how it can be objectively applied to people in their day to day lives. People aren’t going to stop themselves from pursuing folks they want solely because of this desirability metric. People who either don’t care or who have enough confidence in themselves are going to do what they want, and it may possibly work out for them, or it may not. For me, I’m going to optimize myself as much as possible within reason, but I also know I’m not going to stop mys…

I think women can do wrong, but I don't think having consensual sex is wrong. Be that as it may, the average "modern woman" doesn't have an Only Fans account. I think being addicted to porn/the internet will skew one's perception of reality. But average women have average occupations and average lifestyles. That's it. Truth be told, these concepts of "high status males" "low value women" etcetera have no meaning to me. I'm just curious to see how some of y'all think.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 05:52 AM

i understand, given the climate of our culture and history, why some women care about men's money. But there's more and more women for whom that's just not much of a factor anymore.

I think y’all will blame women for being too picky and also not picky enough regardless. No matter what we do, it will never be enough. we will always lose.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 03:42 AM

Yeah that’s harsh. I don’t think men are useless as human beings. But I also don’t think they’re needed as partners. Women are realizing that we don’t need to be dependent on men anymore, and there’s a lot of resentment wrapped up in that because of how poorly men have treated us. Still, it’s true that we don’t need men to get by, But I wouldn’t say men are useless. Everyone’s useful in their own way.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 03:28 AM

That’s literally why they’re making you wait. So they don’t make the wrong choice. Y’all just like to hear yourself talk. Maybe you should just choose women who are less picky.

The topic isn't about dumping people you like. Tbh I don't get what your point is. It's already been established that being rejected sucks, and yeah, judging people for petty reasons isn't great, but to be honest, the reasons you listed here are actually valid reasons to not want to go on a second date with somebody. First impressions mean something, whether you like it or not.

It’s not screaming, it’s expressing disdain for kindergarten talking points in a college level course. State government is still government, and it’s still governmentally-sanctioned oppression. The federal government’s purpose in part is to make sure state governments don’t overreach in stripping people of their rights. It’s why the abolishment of slavery is on a federal level. Why gay and interracial marriage are a result of federal rulings. Why labor rights are federally invoked. Your argument…

/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 02:21 PM

I’m aware what roe did, stop squawking at me the same stale points. Legislation being at the state level doesn’t make the oppression any less governmentally-sanctioned. Not to mention republicans are trying to implement a national ban which makes your stale point a moot one. Cheers

Agreed with everything you said in your first paragraph. For the second, yeah, people are free to shame what they want, but I’m not so sure the fabric of society and order will fall apart if we don’t all shame people for their dating preferences. I personally think we’d all be a lot happier if we minded our own business a little more. Like, yes, there are some women who will be like “where are all the good men??” But I also don’t really care? There’s reasons why that last point isn’t entirely true, but it’s not the point of the conversation, so I’ll skip it. If you’re saying people should be aware whether they’re conventionally attractive or not and then pursue people based on whatever conclusion they come to from that, I mean, sure, but also…why? It doesn’t change the fact that not everyone will be attracted to everyone at equal rates. I’ve seen conventionally attractive pair up with mid people and vice versa. There’s a yum for ever…

Saying no can be a result of valuing yourself just as saying yes can. It’s not about the “yes” or “no” it’s about making choices based on your wants and setting boundaries as needed. Sure, rejecting people for superficial, impermanent reasons isn’t a great look, but that also just means they’re not the person for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 02:57 AM
5

You’re talking about conventional attractiveness, which is not objective, it’s still largely socially influenced. And while yes, most people can agree what is and isn’t conventionally attractive, that doesn’t mean there is objective attraction towards said conventionally attractive person. For example, I know Chris Hemsworth is attractive by conventional standards, but I am not attracted to Chris Hemsworth. There are other, less conventionally attractive men who I find more attractive than him.

Why are you talking about women as if we all approach relationships the same way?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 02:24 AM

Maybe men wouldn’t predominate these areas if they didn’t actively ensure women didn’t compete with them. These types of declarations always fall flat on their face for that reason. It’s meaningless and silly, and given the nature of this sub made up of men that express a consistent over-dependence on women, I’m not so sure if y’all would be okay as you proclaim. But who knows? And, more importantly, who cares?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 02:22 AM

There’s no such thing as “true worth” when it comes to attraction. One person’s uggo is another person’s hottie. The fact you genuinely see the world in terms of “chad” or “not Chad” is honestly sad.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 02:17 AM

I don’t really want anything from men tbh except for them to learn how to take no for an answer. If I meet someone who’s attractive and matches my values, then great. If not, also great. Otherwise, no other demands. Edit: it would appear that the general consensus here is that men want women to stop valuing themselves and to be desperate just as much as they are.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 12:57 AM

But isn’t the prevailing philosophy on this sub that men will settle for women they don’t actually desire while women will rarely do the inverse? Wanting to have sex with a woman you find ugly isn’t desire, it’s just being a sex addict. Nor is settling for women you don’t actually like. I think women and men desire each other about the same. I certainly desire men. Women just aren’t as desperate
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 12:48 AM

I’m with you, especially on that last point but they don’t want to hear it. The women they’re talking about are women who they personally find attractive. Not conventionally unattractive women, so most of these convos are hypocritical on their part from the jump
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 12:44 AM

I mean, yeah. Why would you expect “that special someone” to make up a significant portion of the population. That sample size SHOULD be small. Also, aren’t y’all the ones telling women they shouldn’t be involved with multiple men? Make ip your minds.

I mean, I’m not gonna lie, I’m not going to marry or date a man if I don’t find him physically attractive. But I think where these people get confused is that they think physically attractive = conventionally attractive, and that’s really not the case. One woman’s uggo is another woman’s hottie. As long as he greases my gears and is a good person, I’m all in. The traits you listed are true and could lend itself to people finding a man attractive too. It’s pretty subjective, as is the nature of a…

I guess I just don’t really care if a majority of women or men have relationships or not. It’s good for people, regardless the gender, to say no if they’re not actually invested or interested in someone. If more men did that, then maybe there wouldn’t be as much of an imbalance.

Well I’m not a fan of repeating myself, so I’ll say it one last time and leave you to mull it over, but something being easier for group A as a direct result of group B making it easier for them doesn’t equate to privilege. White privilege doesn’t exist because POC actively and willingly sign away their own racial rights and liberties. Hetero privilege doesn’t exist because queer people broadcast that straight marriage is more valid than gay marriage. You, as a man, are part of a demographic tha…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 05:55 AM

Well if you knew how to read, you would see I never disagreed that it’s easier. I disagree with calling it a privilege because again, handing people something when you don’t need to then calling it a privilege is not how privilege works. Your pseudoscience doesn’t negate men’s ability to say no. It just doesn’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 05:46 AM

I mean, if the hungry people are hungry because they keep handing me their food, I don’t see why we shouldn’t hold the hungry people accountable for their own poor decisions.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 05:45 AM
2

I’m not your sweetie. Again, it’s only “much easier” because men choose for it to be that way. You don’t get to inflict disadvantages on yourself then call the other party advantages. That’s not how privilege works. Grow up.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 05:43 AM

And if you do believe this pseudo-evolutionary narrative, what exactly are you complaining about? Why get bent out of shape over this natural advantage women have as nature intended? Either way, I don’t see how this is women’s problem.

/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 05:35 AM

No. As I said, men’s active decision to say no less than women do is an “advantage” they create for women. It’s entirely self inflicted.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 05:29 AM
3

Women have the capacity to be rejected. Men have the capacity to say no. It happens all the time. For someone who talks about reality, you seem to engage very little with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 05:26 AM

I mean, no it wouldn’t. There are men who do pursue people they want, and the feeling is reciprocated, and it works out. Just because it doesn’t work out for you doesn’t mean the species is automatically in jeopardy. At the end of the day, you choosing to pursue people you don’t actually want is entirely on you and no one else.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 05:24 AM

I’m not a “blue pill” woman, it’s not “whenever we want”, and it doesn’t take “little effort”. You can’t talk about reality when you’re completely apathetic and blind towards the perspectives and experiences of half the species.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 05:20 AM

I’m not obsessed with fucking people, I’m saying men have a very easy and active choice here to not pursue people they don’t actually want. It’s not that hard.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 05:00 AM

No. Especially not when the other party often ignores the concept of consent. And if it is an advantage, it’s one that men entirely create on their own.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 04:59 AM

I thought your point is that women have an “advantage” because men want to fuck anything and everything no matter what.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 04:56 AM

This is a narrative you made up in your head to justify not taking any accountability. You’re not being starved of anything, and you don’t need to fuck people who you’re not actually attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 04:55 AM

Y’all always say this canned response, but not fucking everything with (or without) a pulse doesn’t mean you’re shutting off all desire, let alone a desire to have a family or relationship. I thought the issue is that some of y’all will fuck people who you don’t even actually desire. That’s entirely self inflicted and can easily be controlled. You just don’t want to, and instead blame your poor decisions on women.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 04:52 AM

men can just say no.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 04:36 AM

women have every reason to complain about men's predation.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 04:35 AM

how are women "causing" men to make active decisions and choices that they don't need to make?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 04:33 AM

i'm not following what the problem is. whatever "advantage" you think women get because of this is entirely due to active decisions men make. It's not like it's a compulsory thing. RelativeYak7's partner wants it. She wants it. So what's the issue?

If you can’t accept that “regular” men have the capacity to be incredibly awful towards women then there’s nothing to say to you. A) what you perceive as misandry often isn't misandry. B) feminists do call out extremist women. We don't accept TERFs as a true core of feminism for this reason. The "mainstream" feminism I was taught came through my education, which was always inclusive of men and how these ideas can be beneficial to them. Yes, much of it is critical, but that doesn't equate to misandry.

Men assume themselves to be the authority on women’s morality all the time. But you find it ludicrous for women to do the same towards men for some reason. To me, it doesn’t matter who it’s coming from, if your intentions are steeped in a place of control, entitlement, and no level of self accountability, then it’s safe to say those are rotten intentions. You’re free to disagree, but all you have to do is look at the arguments here from men regarding women and gauge where exactly a subset of them would ideally prefer women winding up in society. Most complaints consist of women having sexual autonomy, having the freedom to choose, having standards (or a lack thereof, depending on which redpiller you’re talking to), and increasingly realizing that they don’t need men. Feminists do have men’s best interests in mind though.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 08:03 PM
1

I think the main difference is that feminists lecture men because much of men’s current behavior is a threat to everyone involved, women and men alike. There isn’t much societal threat women have towards men, except doing the unthinkable act of having autonomy and making decisions without factoring in what men think.

Women have never monolithically agreed on what's good for us, and I never claimed to be the spokeswoman for all women. Of course there are women who are going to directly disagree with me. There were women who didn't think women should vote. But there's plenty of reasons to consider their views as wrong and as in opposition to women's welfare.

"perfect for me" doesn't mean "holistically perfect" as a human being. I don't see why that should upset anyone.

Yeah no, I don’t think about the world in terms of “Chad” or not, first of all, and second, from my understanding of what y’all define that as, it’s not my speed, and third, even if the people I’m into were “Chad” it wouldn’t change the sentiment of my post. Try again.

In my case, no, because I think being single is superior to being in a relationship at this time in my life. Maybe that will change, but it's going to take some doing. Settling for someone and settling down aren't the same things at all.

The point of my post isn't about high and unrealistic standards. But I do discuss that in the comments. The point of my post is that people are free to have whatever standards they want, high low, whatever, as long as it's not detrimental to their lives. I don't see how you, as a stranger, can possibly determine what counts as "too high" of a standard for someone you don't even know, nor can I fathom why you care.

Idk it's a mixed bag. I have friends and family who ask for relationship advice whilst being in relationships. I don't really have anyone asking for relationship advice because they want to be in a relationship though, it's more so about navigating the current relationships they're in
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 04:54 AM
2

You don't need to tell me how posting on the Internet works. The point of the discussion is to talk about why one needs to worry or care about another's standards, be they "reasonable or not". To me, it's not a concern at all to begin with, but if it were, it would be less about how reasonable their standards are, and more so about the impact those standards have on the quality of their life. Something which a stranger would rarely be qualified to asses. So in my worldview, it's weird that you, …

Yeah, I've been over 200 pounds. My post isn't dying on any hill, it was just sharing a view. I don't see what's being pieced together. I could be 50 pounds lighter and still think the same way. I wish you could just talk to me and share your perspective like a human being instead of obsessing over my weight and trying to get one up on me because I'm fat. It's weird, and you're being an asshole for no reason.

This I can agree with to some extent. It really all depends on what the standards are, where the person is at in life, what's actually good for them, etc.

yeah no problem, but your comment was still rude af.

There are lots of people who would prefer to be in a relationship for relationship's sake even if it's not really who they should be with or even completely want to be with.

Why are you triggered by the word "settle"? I don't understand.

I too am wondering what cereal bowl I pissed in. But ah well. I appreciate you actually trying to understand the point.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 03:23 AM

Dang why are y'all coming at me for being overweight? lol Not everyone who is fat is miserable and without options. I've dated whilst being a fatty and pre-fatty era, hence why I know what I'm talking about. No need for the high school bully mentality, or is that what "pink pill" is about?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 03:14 AM
5

It's not that people weren't agreeing with me, it's that they were telling me what my standards are when I never made any mention of them. You can find a person's standards reasonable or not, my point is that it's fine for people to have the prerogatives they have. In other words, making such a big deal out of random people's standards who have nothing to do with you is a little silly.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 03:10 AM
3

I see now where the confusion is. When I said "I haven't been 200 pounds all my life" I meant that I haven't always been 200 pounds and I won't always be 200 pounds. There was a time when I wasn't, but I can still say I prefer to be single now compared to then.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 03:08 AM
1

Ohhh I see. You misunderstood or I worded it poorly. I said I haven't been 200 pounds all my life. As in, there was a time in my life when I wasn't 200 pound lol That's why I followed that up by comparing my happiness now to when I was 20 (when I wasn't 200 pounds). I wouldn't lie about my weight, and it's kinda weird that it's being focused on this much tbh I don't think it's that big of a deal
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 03:02 AM
3

If a standard is "out of touch with reality" then that would exit the realm of "healthy and happy" yes? Even so, I guess I don't comprehend this attitude that random bystanders can determine what standards another person should have?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 02:57 AM
3

What did I lie about? I don't get it. I'm aware not everyone wants a 200 pound person. Not sure what that has to do with my post.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 02:54 AM
3

I don't see why it's required for me to share what my standards are when that's not the point of my post. My post is that people can have whatever standards they want, or lack thereof, as long as it doesn't compromise their health and happiness. I never said you couldn't have an opinion, but making baseless assumptions about what my preferences are isn't exactly an informed opinion that merits much value.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 02:52 AM
2

Being in a relationship I'm not satisfied with is settling. So yes. I would rather be single than settle for a man I'm not happy with. I mentioned nothing about what my standards are. Idk why this is hard for you to comprehend or why my weight is such a trigger point for you, but idk what else to tell you.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 02:48 AM
3

I think you're confused. In my posts, I mention I was 225 at my heaviest weight, not that I'm currently 225 pounds. I've dated at 225 pounds, I've dated at 150 pounds. My point is that I'm happier being single now than I have been in prior years. The rest of your comment about worth and stuff is meaningless to me, sorry lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 02:41 AM
3

eh? I've never described myself as bottom 1% of anything. And do you think what I've posted on Reddit about my weight spans the entirety of my life? I don't get what you're saying here.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 02:32 AM
2

I agree with you, and I guess I could do a better job of explaining what I mean by settling. I think settling means going for someone who doesn't add to your life. People can light your fire and check your boxes in a multitude of ways, so it doesn't make sense to have one checklist and judge people by whether they fit the bill 100% or not. It's more about the quality they bring to your life. If they don't make it better, make you happier, make you a better person, and if you don't reciprocate th…

I haven't been 200 pounds all my life, nor will I be. I just have enough experience to know that I'm happier now than I was when I was 20. Either way, "Gorlock the Destroyer" wanting .0000001% of men seems fine in my book. Sorry if my post threatened in you in some manner.

Well, you didn't ask about 10 years, you asked if it was worse 100 years ago. Roe v Wade was still in place 10 years ago, and right wing theocratics weren't making as consistent of an effort to strip women of their rights as they're doing now, so sure, things were better 10 years ago. Or at least more stable.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 02:01 AM

true, but if having someone match a 7-mile long list versus not matching it makes that person happier, then I think that's okay. We pick and choose our battles, and some want to fight harder than others.

Progress doesn't happen in a linear line, it ebbs in flows. There are cultural and societal trends when clear, concerted efforts to push back against oppressive systems are louder than others. It was pretty loud between 2017 and 2020 with the Me Too movement. Since Roe V Wade fell, however, the push back against women is more apparent than it has been in recent years. None of these observations mean we are basically back to being cattle, it just means the friction is more tangible than it was, s…

The topic is about biases against the other gender. I hate that I get periods, but that doesn't substantiate having a bias against men since men aren't the cause of that. Understand what the conversation is about before speaking. And no, I don't have empathy for men who think murdering your partner is at all comparable to a woman posting thirst traps. Hope that helps.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 01:45 AM

I think that's why it's different for everyone. I've been rather happy single, and at this point, prefer it. If I'm to bring in someone to shake up my life routine, he really ought to be worth it, instead of "kinda" worth it. But not everyone prefers single life, especially depending on where they're at in life, to your point.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 01:38 AM

I think it's difficult to make that judgment call when you don't know what someone else's parameters for a relationship are.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 01:36 AM

None of these things are caused by women, and you don't care about these talking points either. They're only brought up when women's problems are highlighted. People like you and OP's "problems" extend to how much sex women are having and that's it.

the reason for the disdain is a pretty important distinction.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 01:17 AM

I actually think there are some valid things men could complain about when it comes to women, but on here at least, they instead opt for the nonsensical topics like body count, women's right to choose what she wants to do with her own body, etc., and it makes hearing their concerns out a lot more difficult. Women's biases come from self preservation. Your biases come from bemoaning that you simply can't control women.

it is though.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 01:05 AM

what
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 01:02 AM

I don't think women have as much of an issue with this as you think. I certainly wouldn't mind.

It would work if men actually tried therapy. Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 06:44 PM

I guess for me it’s about the demand for virginal women that prompted my question. But yeah, agreed, there shouldn’t be any expectation either way
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 06:42 PM
4

Maybe that’s their reasoning. But I have doubts if it would work. You can not have a relationship but still know some things you don’t want in a relationship. I guess they think women aren’t perceptive.

59

The value is high with this one
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 06:38 PM

I mentioned my virginity so I wouldn’t get the usual “you must have a high body count” noise and so that actual sincere answers could be given. Whether I was a virgin or not, I would still think I’m a prize, but I don’t want any of the men here, so that’s neither here nor there lol Caring about body count in general is silly to me
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 06:34 PM
1

I mean, clearly your strategy isn’t working for men, but do you
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 06:32 PM
14

I think it depends on the reason for the virginity. I do find it odd that it seems then that internet men not only want women to be virgins, but to also have zero dating or relationship experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 06:30 PM
9

Maybe my brain is mush, but how does my question put me on a pedestal for being a virgin? And perhaps you don’t care, but quite a few of your compatriots on here do.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 06:15 PM
1

How do you know these people aren’t getting therapy? And the point is that guys should try to improve themselves as people. Not “slayers”. Maybe then they’ll be happier. Men don’t even like themselves. I think that’s a bigger concern than their ability to get their dicks wet.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 06:14 PM

What do you mean? I have a therapist
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 05:47 PM

“Get therapy” is actionable advice.

It’s clear to me who are the failures when it comes to this, but they’re never going to take personal accountability, so no, I don’t see it getting better, at least not online. There are plenty of people irl who don’t struggle with this though, which is why I see internet conversations about relationships as entertainment more than anything

How do lonely women affect men?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 05:40 PM
13

They say it because they think it will scare women into letting go of their standards and settling for subpar men. But clearly it’s not working, and not only that, it’s patently not true. Older single women are happier than older single men. When you look at nursing homes, the loneliest angriest people aren’t women, but men who get virtually no visitors compared to their female counterparts. It’s just empty scare tactics.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 05:38 PM

Isn’t that what’s required for literally anyone in a relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 05:35 PM

What is “masculine advice”
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 05:29 PM

Damn, you really went off the rails. Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 03:16 AM

Nope, not the men I choose. Just men in general. Their culture. However you wish to describe it. It’s entirely possible to criticize bad men and not be involved with said bad men. Also, I’m sure you can analyze the difference between being sexually attracted to someone and seeing them as a sex object. I’m not going to hold your hand on this.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 03:14 AM

But then why did you lump proud single moms into the group of oppressors and “oligarchs”? You’re not making a bit of sense, sorry.

What cult? Do you even know what you’re acting hysterical over right now? Calm down. Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 03:08 AM

First, off, calm down. Lol. I didn’t say I think anyone deserves to be lonely, so like…chill out. Lol. Second, when you said 1 out of 4 men don’t have friends, I took that as being a high margin of men without friends, because it is. 1 out of 4? That’s a lot of friendless dudes, my guy, and indicates deeper problems than just not being able to get a girlfriend. I see the broader the point, but still, i simply don’t think being single is an inherently bad thing. Maybe men would be happier if they…

I’m a random woman on Reddit. I sure hope you don’t love me lol And I didn’t say you, I said the type of men you’re describing. Most people don’t take pride in single motherhood, they take pride in being a single parent after their deadbeat male partners abandon them. Maybe you should worry about the latter instead of the former. Not surprising single moms are who you focus on. Is there any failure men are accountable for, or no?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 02:43 AM

Lol at thinking misogyny is before your time haha
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 02:39 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 02:38 AM

Dang, if you get upset by this, I guess I shouldn’t tell you that we do an entire background check on men before agreeing to the first date. As for the why? Safety and wanting to avoid bums. But mainly the safety.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 02:35 AM
2

Men see women as sex objects.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 02:08 AM
2

Lol who are the oppressors? What change do you want to see happen that involves women? I think the solution for men is pretty straightforward, but y’all seem adamantly opposed to putting any work into yourselves and putting it all on women. Additionally, men like what you’re describing don’t love women. They can’t even see women as fully realized individuals who exist outside of catering to men’s “needs”. What kind of love is that?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 02:07 AM
2

Finding meaning outside of sex and relationships isn’t going against any biological imperative. What you’re describing isn’t “normal” it’s a massive problem that men can’t even seem to connect with one another, so idk why that’s somehow women’s responsibility. It’s not. It just sounds like you’re making excuses and trying to make women feel responsible for men’s issues. I’m still waiting to hear what exactly you want women to do that isn’t some absurd “solution” taken out of the handmaid’s tale.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 02:04 AM
1

The fact that men have had societal advantages for the past several centuries and still pretend they’re somehow an oppressed party compared to women of all people is why I have difficulty taking y’all seriously.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 01:59 AM
0

Who does that
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 01:57 AM
3

Who said that’s the goal? I’m saying idk what else can be said apart from the above options. You all talk a lot about what you don’t want to hear, but not what you do want to hear, and if you do, it’s usually some sexist bullshit that compromises women. So where does that leave us?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/24 08:17 PM
2

So anything that comes from women’s perspective is sardonic and meaningless yeah? Maybe your refusal to show empathy towards the very group you’re demanding it from is why people don’t care about your problems. Again, y’all have a glaring lack of self worth by calling yourselves valueless and treating being forever alone as a death sentence. You can find happiness outside of women, y’all just refuse to accept that, but then also simultaneously disrespect anything we do or say. Confounding demogr…

I don’t understand. Are you suggesting something being 60 years ago means it doesn’t apply? Do you think the problems being addressed then suddenly came to a stop? I don’t get what you’re saying. I’m not saying it’s impossible to attract a man, I’m saying women experience pressure to do so successfully.

I think that’s what men tell men tbh. I think men should focus on finding fulfillment outside of sex and relationships.

It’s not a manosphere talking point, it’s the culture I grew up in and combatted directly throughout my life. I know you mean well, but it’s kind of a slap in the face for you to say what is or isn’t a valid concern for women when you’re not experiencing it yourself. It’s also shortsighted to suggest these social pressures for women magically don’t exist despite them being enforced for centuries. Sure, we’re starting to detangle some of it, but that’s a short exit ramp compared to endless highwa…

I don’t think the opinion of men I just met on dating apps would be valid considering they don’t know me, nor what I would need to work on. The friendships I have with my male friends, however, have led to conversations that highlight what it is exactly I need to work on haha I have been rejected, which tells me I’m not considered a worthy partner to at least someone. Which is fine, rejection is part of life. But this idea I’m floating through life without any questioning or challenge to my char…

Yeah that could be the case for some people. In mine, I don’t care about behavioral red flags (unless it’s like, being violent or rude or something), as much as I do about values. I mainly want someone who isn’t prejudiced and who takes personal accountability. It’s a wide enough net to catch some good fish, but narrow enough to weed out the barnacles.

I’m sorry, but there is absolutely pressure put on women for being a good partner. Most of which revolves around the needs of men. So much so that an entire movement had to be born to pushback against the pressure being put on women. Even to this day, there is a high amount of expectation put on us in terms of appearance, being accommodating to men, be sexual but not too sexual, conform to traditional gender roles but also don’t encroach on men’s finances, being womanly and feminine, not competi…

The way men often complain about being lonely reveals the entitled attitude they have towards women, so I have difficulty empathizing with that and don’t think I should. Men will go out of their way to not look at themselves in regards to this issue, which gives them space to blame and snipe at women for everything and turn into misogynistic cretins. So yeah, my instinct is to remind them that maybe they should at least a little bit, exercise some introspection, given how frequently they don’t, …

It might not be what you asked, but it’s part of my original point, so I’d rather stick to that than veer off on a talking point that i didn’t make/that you misunderstood. My main thesis is that family annihilators are part of the profile of men who tie their self worth to women in a manner that is possessive. When that’s threatened, they’d rather abuse, disrespect, or kill their possession(s) than see them happily free or shared by another. Hurt people hurt people, and all that. So yeah, over d…

I listen to a lot of true crime, so yeah. Chris Watts comes to mind. The Loftons. Shawn Barrett. Again, they killed their own families/partners over failed relationships. I used “annihilate” because the popularized term is “family annihilators” for these types of men. It may not be an every day occurrence, but it happens enough times to cause alarm.

I think redpillers struggle to acknowledge women as fully realized individuals who have experiences, insecurities, desires, and ambitions outside the context of men, and as long as they continue to bump into that roadblock, the next steps of what makes a fulfilling relationship will always be out of reach for them.

Many men depend on women for a sense of self worth. Ostensibly.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/24 04:17 AM

Is this a bit? In quoting me, you replaced my points about men’s violence with “[hysteria]”. What did you mean by that?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/24 04:11 AM
2

You thought I said men annihilate women’s families when I was referring to their own families. Then you said you’re aware men have terrible reactions to rejection when that wasn’t my point. My point is that family annihilators is on the spectrum of terrible reactions men have to rejection. Which was the original point. Men have an over dependence on women, otherwise they wouldn’t have these reactions that range from harassment to murder. Hope that helps.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/24 04:09 AM

Pointing out men’s violence isn’t hysteria. The rest of your comment is foundering gibberish.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/24 03:52 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/24 03:30 PM

Honestly, it’s precisely what I want, because men harass/kill women and annihilate their families just for being rejected, which tells me there’s an over dependence going on. I’ve been begging men to get some self worth for years now
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/24 03:29 PM

“Liberate from women” implies men were ever under the thumb of women. Your inability to wash your own clothes is not a result of financial and systematic oppression, it’s a result of you being lazy. Finally doing your own house chores is no type of revolution lol

/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 08:38 PM

So why are you focusing on abusers….you can be an unreliable partner without being abusive
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 06:04 PM

okay, well do something to self improve, and stop being a jerk towards people who haven't done anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 03:14 PM

Being a "10" isn't a fixed state. There's no way someone can be a 10 until you get to know and appreciate them as a person first. A perceived 10 can drop to a 1 depending on their personality / vibes, and a person who isn't my fantasy type can readily become a 10 in my eyes if I'm in love with them. If there's full fulfillment, it's not settling in my opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 03:12 PM

but why call them trash? Also weed themselves out of what? OP's point is that if you're into someone, you'll magically be into traditional roles whether you initially agree with said roles or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 03:07 PM

no, emotionally. idk if it's jealousy or what, but it comes off as insecure.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 03:06 PM

being abusive isn't the only reason a person should be broken up with
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 03:05 PM

She’s not even ugly. I don’t get how you’re in 2024 and still threatened by lesbian women.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 02:59 PM

I’m aware. I don’t see how it applies here, but you do you
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 02:56 PM

Where’d that come from? Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 02:54 PM

Maybe for similar reasons I’m single. They’re comfy with their own company, haven’t put themselves out there, relationships weren’t a priority at the time, etc. I guess the way I see it, there’s already not a heck of a lot of good options for me right now, so it’s not the end of the world if that’s the case as I continue to get older. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t, I’m okay with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 02:53 PM

I guess I’m curious what happens if you fall for a person largely because they’re not into traditional roles. Do you think that person will suddenly change their feelings?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 02:51 PM

?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 02:48 PM

Some people would never “be really into” someone that values traditional gender roles though
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 02:46 PM
10

Women initiating break ups more doesn’t make them less reliable partners. Y’all always want to gloss over the fact that relationships aren’t being ended for funsies. Usually, the partner has done something to lead to ending the relationship, but that would require holding men accountable for something, so I get why you never want to address that point.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 02:28 PM

Isn’t that the case for men who get married and eventually have kids? The child should always be #1 regardless

They don’t know what they want and resent the fact that their fantasy of women being non-autonomous robots whose existence revolves around men is proven to be a lie, and they literally can’t cope. It’s sad, and funny. But mostly sad. But funny.

Again, she wasn’t being an asshole in her original post. It was only until y’all started getting hella defensive over literally nothing. One thing I know is that after engaging with this subreddit for the short amount of time i have, I don’t ever wanna hear another man describe women as overemotional ever again, because y’all got to be the most fragile group of people on this entire website. /r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 01:37 AM

Women aren’t a hive mind and don’t frame it one way or another. In fact, isn’t it men who keep complaining about how women are whores and want to have sex outside of relationships? Y’all can never get your narratives straight, and I know I can’t be the only woman who is too unbothered to try to keep up atp. It just sounds like noise to me
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 01:34 AM
2

I don’t know if you know this, but women like sex and can be invested just for sex. What you’re saying is an outdated view that women can’t enjoy sexual pleasure for pleasure’s sake with no strings attached. If I want sex from a man, and I get sex, then nothing is lost nor won. I simply get what I want, and hopefully he does too. You genuinely seem out of touch, and maybe I’m just tried, but I still don’t get how choosing who you want to be in a relationship with means you’re being a man.

So do you take personal accountability or nah?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 07:56 PM
2

What demand? All that was asked is if you take accountability for your life. Why is that such an insurmountable expectation for you? Seriously, are you ok?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 03:55 PM
1

Everything you said is inaccurate.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 03:50 PM
1

You made a nonsense point. How else am I supposed to respond? There is no connection to accountability because men obstructing women isn’t accountability. Your argument is silly, and again, very telling about how coddled you are. If you don’t have the capacity to self reflect and take personal accountability for your own life choices, then you are owed absolutely nothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 03:28 PM

You said veterans died for women’s rights lol me telling you to shut up is an act of grace for your own sake.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 03:24 PM

I mean, I was the geek in school, so no. You're free to make baseless assumptions about my life, I don't entertain that kind of noise. lol but the fact remains men have a reputation (or several) for a reason and y'all truly aren't the ones to judge anyone. It is what it is. lol
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 03:09 PM
1

What do you mean that's what you thought? What you described isn't men holding anyone accountable. Do you not know what accountability means? That would explain so much actually.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 03:07 PM
3

80% is wild lol. Whatever percentage you want to put out there, men have a reputation for being whores, and it’s really not your place to judge women for their sex lives, or for anything, really. Worry about your own group
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 02:50 PM
3

Well that’s not what OP said in her original post. She asked valid questions and provided suggestions that would be helpful to anyone who genuinely wants to improve.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 02:46 PM
1

Men already do that, and it has nothing to do with holding people accountable. It’s telling how coddled men like you really are when you devolve to these trite arguments over a simple question of taking accountability.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 02:43 PM

I mean, the subreddit is called purple pill Debate. If you’re not equipped to debate and would rather bitch and moan about women all day without any pushback, there are other more suitable subreddits for you. Cheers.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 02:39 PM
3

20% according to whom? “The men I go for” according to whom? The men in this very subreddit talk about how little dick discipline men have every day, it’s not something I made up. You can also criticize a group of people without “going for” those kinds of people. Y’all have so many canned and nonsensical arguments, it’s funny.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 02:34 PM
3

the thing these people are being “triggered by” is merely being asked if they take personal accountability lmao y’all are ridiculous
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 02:28 PM
2

Well, how is that going to work when their entire philosophy is take no accountability and blame all their problems on women?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 02:27 PM
2

I’m convinced that y’all think accountability is apologizing for hurting your feelings, and no, that is not necessary in this case.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 02:26 PM
1

Not taking accountability for anything is a horrible trait to have and leads to being a horrible person, so it isn’t really anyone’s responsibility to coddle people like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 02:25 PM
0

That’s funny. I’m depressed yet haven’t had the luxury of using that as an excuse to avoid accountability for anything. How does one tap into that life hack, or is it reserved only for a specific subset of whiny men on the internet?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 02:23 PM
2

Lol can’t have the women commiserating can we?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 02:18 PM

Am I expected to take this response seriously? Are you actually trying to make the argument that the actions of a random ass woman on Reddit determines the decisions of all virgin women everywhere? The internet has rotted y’all’s brains.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 02:15 PM
2

This entire subreddit is filled with men who do nothing but complain about meaningless shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 02:05 PM

"If men really wanted to-" they did. The worst things you can imagine men could do to women have been done and are still being done in direct response to women advocating for their liberation. Your demographic hasn't done women any favors, and it's a slap in the face to women who died and suffered to defend their freedoms by accrediting it to men. You're owed nothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 06:41 AM

not for everyone. On a moral level, at least. Just choose people who fit your values. I honestly don't get what you're arguing against here.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 03:18 AM

Calling it "slimy" makes it doubly nonsensical in that case. Everyone is different. You can have preferences without worrying about half the species' sex life. Just choose people who align with your values. Why is this so difficult? And lol. No. I'm too grown to buy into the narrative of the latter half of your comment, sorry. Men are adults who can be held accountable just as much as anyone else, and expecting women to go along with bullshit double standards "just because" is silly and not goin…

Well, good news, it's not slimy. If you're safe and clean (and non religious), turns out that it doesn't make much of a difference, actually. Nor should it, especially to the demographic that does very little to hold themselves to the same "virtuous" standards they hold for women.

Again I have no idea what you’re talking about. But women having emotional connections with people outside the people they don’t want to have an emotional connection with isn’t a bad thing. If men refuse to be human beings and exercise basic forms of empathy and emotional intelligence, then they’re owed nothing. Cheers.

Men are the ones who struggle with emotional reciprocation, emotional intelligence, and empathy. If you’re asking why women won’t give a random Joe Schmoe she’s met off the street the time of day, it’s because we’re entitled to our boundaries and freedom of choice. Hope that helps.

I like how men declare they don’t have a biological wall when half of them start balding and developing ED midway through their thirties. Also men can shoot blanks and not be able to impregnate women. I blame sex education for this one sided narrative regarding women’s fertility.

Most people outside the internet don’t believe there’s a “wall”. everyone ages in different ways and at different rates. Some people are open to people who appear older, some people are not. Young women absolutely do not flock to clearly older men the way the internet pretends, but again, it’s not so much a “wall” than just a clear difference in age, experience, and place in life.

I'm not sure why men like you act like you're the only one on the planet who has insecurities. Women, especially women of color, are regularly told they're an inferior people compared to men, and yet I manage to be responsible for the type of person I come off as when engaging with other people. Knowing that society sucks doesn't mean you lose custody over yourself. Your insecurity isn't what's laughable, it's your inability to take personal accountability on any level.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 08:49 PM

Men need to figure out how to confront their feelings of insecurity without blaming half the species for it. Seriously, what does blaming women for your feelings of inadequacy actually resolve? What do you want women to do? Pretend to be attracted to you in order for you to feel better about yourself? Sorry, we have other shit to do. Your feelings exist, but shuttling them off on random people who have nothing to do with you is not a valid solution.

My example refutes the idea that gender is universally a binary. It’s not. Even outside of cultures that have 5 interpretations of it, even outside the human species, gender has never been restricted to a binary. Only one portion of my reply mentions gender, so throwing “gender studies!!!” around as a buzz word isn’t going to work here. The rest is about how illogical your worldview is. “All the hate was unprovoked” this is intellectually dishonest. Concerns about age gaps, racial biases, and divorce over kids is not hinged on men’s sex lives. Age gaps are concerned with predation. Racial biases are concerned with racism. Divorcing someone because they don’t want kids is an extension of expectations for women to have babies and disregard their autonomy. Ah yes, the boogeyman of this sub: a selfish woman. How dare we be concerned with ourselves at any point, yes? You can spin it in a way that sounds palatable, but the core of the paternity test in this sub is “women be hoes, and you can’t trust them”. That’s it. The only way I could see this working is if the expectation to get a paternity test was established well beforehand instead of springing the demand on your partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/23 06:48 PM
1

Knowing my partner will change and assuming they’ll transform into monsters aren’t the same. If you want to have a paternity test, then have this conversation before progressing the relationship. Sure, there are cases where people feel pressured to do things they otherwise wouldn’t do. But that’s not the main point OP was making. His whole concern is that “it’s fake, therefore it’s bad” which is dumb.

yeah reddit is glitching out re: your reply - but if we're talking about natural instincts, getting pregnant would be an incentive to have as much sex as possible, not a deterrent since it meant the sustaining of our species. It's not absurd, actually. The paternity test isn't about "testing yourself", it's about ensuring your partner didn't cheat on you, don't be obtuse. You not only distrust your partner, you assume they've betrayed the relationship in one of the worst ways possible...without them giving you any reason to think they'd do that. I wouldn't assume my partner would beat me, and if I did, I wouldn't be in a relationship with him. Why are you having kids with people you don't trust? It's nonsensical.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/23 10:24 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/23 10:20 AM

the point has gone over your head. Assuming your partner will cheat on you or beat you means you shouldn't be with that person to begin with.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/23 10:15 AM
2

The "evidence" is that they're two completely separate scenarios... One is protecting against unintentional harm, the other presumes intentional malice and a failure in your partner's character. Knowing people have cheated on their partners doesn't mean you need to suspect your partner is cheating on you without reason. Otherwise just don't be with that person if you struggle with trust issues that much.

What am I making up? because your second sentence suggests I’m right. Men think it’s okay to be attracted to young girls, including minors, and make up excuses for it. This “18-23 year olds are just more attractive” argument is simply a thin veil to cover up the predacious nature of their desires. There is no valid reason a 30 year old person would want to have anything to do with an 18-year old who’s barely learning how to be an adult. Let alone someone who is younger than that. This goes for a…

By me. A person who sees beyond bullshit and refuses to scapegoat biology for men’s weird choices. As an example, the number of men who would willingly have intercourse with an underage teenager if they could get away with it is astonishingly (or not so astonishing depending on who you ask) high, and that has nothing to do with fertility rates. Many men desire women and girls to be as young as possible because many men are predatory. It’s as simple as that.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/23 10:10 AM
1

Young women are attractive to men because men see them as easy to control. This has already been stated.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/23 10:04 AM
1

Don’t you ever get tired of excusing men’s behavior with biology? How convenient for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/23 10:03 AM
1

Yeah yeah, everything wrong with men is due to biology, and therefore we can’t question their questionable decisions. I’ve heard this song and dance before. It’s neither interesting nor compelling.

Because you can't infringe on people's autonomy. Edit: Looking through your comments, you clearly just have an issue with women, so of course you would question why men should care about their boundaries. It's giving rapist. Cheers.

I like how the fertility argument is used as if men are known for wanting to settle down and raise kids as opposed to sleep with as many women as possible and take care of their offspring as little as possible. As if they just look at a woman, and magically detect her fertility levels lol It's not about fertility, it's about entrapping people while they're young and naive. "Ironic." not really. I'm not interested in being predatory towards my partners.

I think you pretending that there's a gray area when it comes to sexual boundaries is you speaking in bad faith.

I think what men call a "biological imperative" is just men being creepy and wanting someone easy to control. I wouldn't call that pedophilia though, I would call it manipulative and insecure.

It wasn't peaceful for the following: BIPOC Women LGBTQ Immigrants Non-Christians Disabled Persons Impoverished persons Or do they not count?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/23 07:45 AM

I don't understand why something being natural means it needs to be pursued. Hence my flu example. We're not slaves to nature. While one person is busy raising kids, another could be spending their freedom on studying the cure to cancel. I don't understand why you're framing these arguments as if humans are constricted to limited options for a life fulfilled. We're not.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/23 07:41 AM
1

Which was obvious from what I said, or if you thought, so, are you and idiot, troll, our autist? your original comment would have people believe women generally have a thing for serial killers, so no, it's not obvious. Your hostility mixed with ableism tells me everything else I need to know about your integrity. Cheers.

Not sure about serial killers, but for genetic traits associated with the ‘dark triad’, the men with the top 10% of those genetic markers have 27% of the kids. no offense, but this is gobbledygook. Being a criminal isn't considered a desirable trait by the general population. Also men in prison are fathers more than the general population most of these men have kids before they go to prison, not *because* they went to prison.

Yes, but when those needs are voiced and are still ignored, it’s no longer a case of taking two to tango, and more one just being selfish and prioritizing his pleasure of women’s.

You can have casual sex and still care about the person’s pleasure. I agree people should communicate, but Whether they’re in a committed relationship or not, a lot of men are simply clueless about certain things they really shouldn’t be clueless about in regards to sex and female anatomy. It’d be one thing if men asked how it’s going and gave an opportunity to clarify, but often times that doesn’t happen, and even when women choose to communicate, it often gets ignored because men “know what th…

The problem with this narrative, and a big problem with dating narratives in general, is that it places the onus of behavior chiefly on men while women are somehow at a fixed point and the objective arbiters of what's considered "good" or not. When really, bad women (however you want to define bad) pursue men, just as much as bad men pursue women. Clueless women pursue men. Confused women pursue men. Good women pursue men. Horrible women pursue men. So when we come up with these narratives about…

Whether you think it’s needed or not, consent is still the difference. People post their bodies online for attention. People go to the gym to workout. Going to the gym does not necessitate your viewership. A gym isn’t a so-called lion’s den, and it’s ridiculous you think your token of attention is so obligatory that it would be. It’s not obligatory. Your penis is not that important. If your simple “looks” are making people uncomfortable, safe to say, you’re probably not just furtively glancing a…

If a woman going to the gym is the same as a “whore” who sexualizes herself on the internet in your mind, it’s clear the issue is not about your eyes wandering by happenstance and more about the knee-jerk urgency to oversexualize people who are simply trying to exist in the same space as you. If it were a mere matter of “glancing”, there wouldn’t be enough time for these losers to be caught on camera. Again, play dumb if you want. I’m not buying it. You’ve been given your options. Go forth and d…

/r/MensRights05/02/23 11:07 AM

No. The consent is in regards to sexualizing oneself online vs. just going to the gym. You pea brains can be obtuse about this if you want, but the rest of functioning society isn’t going to condone your desperation to be leering freaks just because you feel like it. You’re not a lion, you’re a human. Either act like an adult, or get treated like an animal. Those are your options.
/r/MensRights05/02/23 11:06 AM
-27

it's called consent. The mistake you've made is assuming the "internet whores" are the same ones going to the gym merely to work out. If you see all women as a monolith, then women can see men as a monolith as well and every negative assumption that comes with it.

But how would you know women don’t have comparable sex drives when you don’t even have sex with them? 😶
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/20 10:08 PM
1

Well, again, I didn’t say that. That said, since you’re so interested in the topic, being able to give good sex is indeed a value. Perhaps not the only value, but a value nonetheless. But I’m sure you wouldn’t know anything about that either. 🤷🏾‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/20 10:05 PM
1

“That implies that’s a woman’s only value” No, it doesn’t. It simply implies you haven’t experienced women wanting to fuck you, ergo why you think they lack a sex drive. But rest assured, there are plenty of men, and plenty of women, whom women would like to have sex with. You just don’t happen to be among that group. Good luck out there.
