If nobody is utilizing safety conditions then the people in that industry are forced to work in unsafe conditions. Comparing the numbers of marriages and divorces in the same year doesn't necessarily correlate to 45% because you are ignoring the marriages that existed before that year. Also that number is very misleading because a large chunk of that percentage comes from failed 2nd, 3rd, or 4th marriages. Yeah I did think this through, it is pretty well established that divorce rates are immensely higher the shorter the period of dating before marriage. Communication or lack thereof is also cited as one of the highest reasons for divorce. Uh yea it is their problem, you choose to treat your soldiers as robot servants and you will not have a very good military. You also don't stop working for 9 months because you are pregnant, a few weeks to months after delivery perhaps. As it stands up to 12 weeks of leave for men or women is not a bad idea anyways, you choose to treat your people well they will be happier and more willing to work well.

To be clear it isn't necessarily the women who are currently serving that are the problem with standards. Specifically since you don't really have a voice as a soldier. It is the people outside that allow the women who recently failed the Ranger program and infantry programs to get a "pass". How often did you work with SEALs and Rangers? I did pretty extensively in both Afghanistan and Iraq and while they are an "action" arm they are still conducting missions in which intel is gathered and locals are interacted with. As it stands the entire special operations community sans PJs are utilizing FETs because it has become mission critical.

While I have never been in law enforcement, I have been in military intelligence and we would commonly put out a name to get other people to come forth with information. I know for a fact that law enforcement will name someone in a case looking for more information from the night in question or if the individual was implicated in a similar case that went unreported.
