Jaw surgery/implants are also doing a lot of heavy lifting here.

Not men in general, but I’m also not surprised when it comes to men in their 40s. Most people who wanted marriage, men very much included, have already married by that age. On top of that, there’s a new cohort of divorcees who are understandably less eager to remarry. So if you look at men in their 40s as a whole, they don’t appear dramatically different from other age groups in their attitudes toward marriage. Keeping all that in mind, I'm not surprised about the the drop-off among single men i…

Thank youuuu!! He has deleted that account, but all the info is very useful, I'll pass it on :) (maybe it's a good idea we delete these comments, so we don't get any scolding)

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that 🥺 If you wish to talk to someone, my chat is always open for old buddies. In any case, I hope whatever it is, it can slowly start improving🤞

Heyyy long time no see! How have you been? Yes, you do likely know who is the menace in question haha
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 11:01 AM

Thanks for the help! But he got perma and that makes it harder cause reddit autodetects him pretty soon.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 08:49 AM

Is it state or is it motherland, cause those are the two completely different things? I just find it a funny kind of sad, cause nationalism is a relatively modern concept.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 08:46 AM

Does anyone know how to make an account after the mod hammer fell permanently onto you? Someone has been on my case to help him with it, but frankly I don't know how?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 08:38 AM

Lol how delightful! Long have I dwelt away from my throne, to now behold a new King proclaimed! Yet diligent and tireless in duty he has been, not a day missed in his sacred charge. Verily, his omnipresence in these hallowed halls well deserves recognition. This new Lurkarian age dawns as PPD stands uncertainly poised on the brink of diminishment. He, whose middle-age passes in the august, unchallenged, and tranquil glories of his victorious PPD era, may yet stir in us once more the thrill of pr…

So if you can find 2 men wiling to go on LTR within a single day, it's the equivalent of going to a buffet and saying there's not enough food. The fact they are willing means nothing if she isn't willing to consider them for some reason. And wow your criteria is what, age range and willigness to commit, truly a buffet lol. The same way if a man found a woman willing to commit to him, but he isn't interested, it doesn't make it a viable match. Right and everyone knows that any woman who asks any …

Nope, that was tested by /u/KingofRheinwg here to show there's actually a steady supply of men willing to commit. Oh and where is that steady supply of men willing to commit? All I see is men willing to go out on a first date, only 2 of which said they were looking for long-term in their bios; everyone knows that all other euphemisms mean they are looking for a version of fwb. Ironic how women are denigrated for not knowing which men are into commitment and at the same time their pool is expande…

Everyone's problems are their "fault", more accurately their responsibility. That said, you way overestimate the availability of these wonderful men willing to commit. The pool for anyone of worth is actually narrow and the endless dating app matches are an illusion. E.g. two average people may be looksmatched, but that still doesn't mean they have a good partner potential. To use my own example as a feminist, no one who doesn't align with my values here could ever be a life-partner. I'm sure yo…

You know I have thought how to approach this, but there is no other way but historical positioning. Applying contemporary notions of nationalism to medieval political decisions is anachronistic. Loyalty in that era was not to a nation as we understand it today but to dynasties, local lords, and religious institutions. Thus, Croatia’s personal union with Hungary in 1102 cannot be judged by modern nationalistic standards because "Croatian" identity in the sense you’re implying didn’t exist as a co…

So the Serbian Empire fell in 1371… but before the battle in 1371? Tell me, neighbour, when exactly did this invisible collapse happen? Because if it 'fell' earlier, then why were 70,000 Serbian troops still marching under imperial banners? Isn't Maritsa that historical milestone, as the Empire before it was imploding but still limping along, while after it was a non-entity. Even when occupied, we rebelled against the Turkish yoke every century, finally throwing it off in 1863, while Croatia was…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/25 09:59 PM
1

Well, you'd be wrong, because as I said, the empire imploded. Is it not hard to say the correct date of the fall of the Serbian Empire if its implosion was a slow process? And yes, you are right, they faced only a principality, not the whole Empire united. But wasn't Vukašin considered an (usurping) co-ruler at the time? Our magnates were far from honest, but at least they never sold our lands to the foreign rulers, lol. At least Croatian lords negotiated their terms and were granted considerabl…

Lol, I know it wasn’t the sole reason, just like the rest of the empire’s downfall wasn’t any less rooted in incompetence. But I'd not insist on pretending that beautiful defeat by the Ottomans wasn't a decisive factor.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/25 07:54 PM

Ah, you mean the mighty Empire that collapsed after losing to 800 Ottomans despite outnumbering them 100 to 1? No such brag-worthy defeats to our name 😉

*Early twin studies of adult individuals have found a heritability of IQ between 57% and 73%**, with some recent studies showing heritability for IQ as high as 80%. IQ goes from being weakly correlated with genetics for children, to being strongly correlated with genetics for late teens and adults.* I am aware of the twin studies and their results, thanks for the citation. Frankly speaking, what I wrote was very plausbile much unlike the wishy-washy that you offered. Frankly speaking, that is your subjective view. I'm refering to the works and opinions of people like J. Philippe Rushton, Charles Murray, Dick Hernstein, Richard Lynn, Arthur Jensen, James Watson (Nobel Lautreate), or William B. Shockely (Nobel Lauterate). So a covert prejudices excuse. You know the Flynn model I previously mentioned used Jensen's methodology and showed that in nation after nation, t…

Nothing as far as that, I just think that one has to demonstrate plausability if one wishes to shift someone's perspective, merely proclaiming it is not enough to. I am curious if you'll indulge me, what is that marginilaized group of truth speakers you belong to?

Fair enough. I will just say that you have a tendency towards black and white conclusions and it shines even in your characterization of my views. I would say that I am a proponent of nature-nurture interactivism much more, I've just leaned heavier on the enviromental effects in my arguments because those were the ones you kept dismissing.

Germany in 1930 had 3x the GDP per capita of Yugoslavia, even under Versailles. And yet GDP per capita isn’t a direct reflection of inherent national character or productivity. It’s a measure influenced by industrialization, access to resources and historical context. Germany was an industrial powerhouse by the late 19th century, unified early under Prussian leadership with centralized policies pushing industrial growth. Yugoslavia was a patchwork of agrarian economies, formed after WWI from ter…

Yes, I've googled it a bit, but I want to see which one specifically are you referring to so I can see their actual analysis and conclusions drawn. In my admittedly short time googling and skimming I've seen IQ and CPI show a correlation in some studies, as you claim, but it's not the smoking gun you think it is. Correlation is never causation, which you are heavily implying here and such implications are just plain bad statistics. There are third variables like institutional strength, education…

If you're from around there, you've seen the corrupt border cops or the fat Catholic clerics getting out their huge Mercedes S class. Where have you seen them? I know that border police got way stricter in the last 10 years and that Croatian version of Catholicism has historically not been similar to its central and western European counterparts, e.g. the mass in latin. It's a very good height in my opinion. I (185 cm) have always felt most attracted to women around that 170 cm mark. It is not bad, but I'd still prefer to be model height. Yours is well balanced too, all the good things of being tall with none of the drawbacks. I've found Croat people to be lazy, irresponsible, corrupt, collectivist etc. All in all, rather high-time preference people. Personally, I like to be in communities and countries where people, on average, tend to have a lower-time prefer…

Yes, I spent the summers in Vir/Zadar as kid/teenager. Sounds idyllic. I've had a similar childhood, but more Makarska and Hvar oriented. I find Dalmatian people to be the most attractive and also the tallest. Oh we are both. At 172 cm, I'm the second shortest woman in my family and it goes up to 193cm, making me feel a bit insecure. We're not but clearly we have issues with reading or retaining information. I have read it and discarded it as stupid. I'm sure your all-predicting head could not have missed such an obvious option. Do we get it now? Even with gun to my head I would choose neither. Why would I ever choose to force myself to have sex and live with the kind of men I hate, for fucking decades. That is a fate worse than death.

If I was going to use my status as a redditor for unfounded guesswork, I'd bet it has to do with her resentment at his lack of commitment, i.e. marriage. I found your explanation wrong. Because based on your wording, specifically "gender norms of her society", a woman is less of a woman if she is born in a Middle Eastern country and doesn't want to be covered from head to toe, or wants to drive. Those are the gender norms of her society and she doesn't fit them. Tell me, how is she less of a woman? She is more of a pariah, not less of a woman, which is a biological fact. You have too many clashing colours on. More cohesion would help. To me black belt on blue jeans reads as bit of a dad or a cowboy fit from a few decades past, so I'd get them either tailored or get black jeans. The shirt and ring are nice, but the jacket doesn't really go. It also has no edge, if you wish to draw in a woman, black leather jacket is an easy staple to have and throw on. In such a case, only one article of either clothing or footwear can be non black, e.g. purple pants (it doesn't …

I find both men and women problematic in this scenario. The men because these types usually have a very narrow and usually unrealistic picture of womanhood that they heavily expect their woman to conform to, and women because they willingly shoehorn themselves into these dancing monkey roles that don't really fit them. If he wants a woman who will watch sports with him and be one of the boys, while effortlessly and cheaply looking modelesque, no one is making her choose that guy. So she can just…

that’s because you find out real fast which women don’t really like you and who don’t really care to interact with you. Fair enough, we all know which interactions are going to fail before we even started them. It’s kind’ve hard for me to believe that, especially with my track history in real life, and when women on here post their physical dealbreakers, or they don’t find guys that look similar to me attractive. I get it, I can get into my head about stuff too (I have my own looksmaxxing fond a…

Yaay me haha, but it honestly wasn't too hard as we have like 80% similar taste, except I go for funny blonds apparently
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/24 08:21 PM
1

I don't doubt that you are funny, I like some of the gifs e.g., just saying that on ppd you come of as more of a dude's bro. Like some people interact more with women, or about equally, but you connect mostly with homies. Also yeah, saying repeatedly you find yourself kinda ugly and emphasizing your flaws doesn't help. That doesn't work for attracting the vast majority of people. Notice that people who did pull on here did none of those things, not men nor women. Also, I bet that you are way too…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/24 07:50 PM

Well-read, well-mannered, socially and politically conscious, has some nerdy interests as well as shared interests, outgoing and knows how to dress for the occassion, has a compatible vision for the future, self-aware and able articulate himself well, more on the serious side, but still funny, sees and understands you so well that with time he only falls more and more deeply in love. Also, dark haired and good looking with a proud looking nose. How did I do lol
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/24 07:39 PM
1

Look, I don't want to rain on your parade, so feel free to disregard, but as far as I've been able you are mostly either doom or broposting, has nothing to do with height. And I say that as someone who slid into a guy's dms only because she found him funny and relatable, having had zero clue what he looked like.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/24 07:30 PM
1

That is a bit of an insane take, but if we bring it down a few notches to a more normal level, I do think it's important to have same overall principles and political views when it comes to these things
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/24 09:54 PM
1

I'm fairly good at reading signs, so would know when someome is into me or not, and I'd not have issues if it happened sometimes either, as good sex is more than just hard dick pounding away imo. If it was most of the time, I admit I'd not like it tho.

/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/24 11:56 PM

I'm very expressive in love too, but to my fortune I don't fall easily and it takes me a while. If a guy is too desperate off the bat and way too into me apropos nothing, I would, and have been, put off too. So I get guys who are scared off by too much intensity at the start, I am as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/24 11:54 PM
2

I've gotten a few different results depending on my mood when I took the test, with the most notable difference being my tendency to alternate between introversion and extraversion. I don't think they are in any way greatly accurate, but INTP has come up the most for me
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/24 11:45 PM
1

Eh true ppd ships have presumably gotten off ppd
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/24 11:37 PM
1

It depends... For true physical icks I couldn't stand him touching me. Interestingly enough I did go for differing views on a topic which was something I previously thought was important to me and a turn off, i.e. that someone views sex differently to me. Surprisingly, the more I understand it, the less it bothers me. So, B for me
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/24 04:41 PM

Right, if someone is only loyal as their options, they are not loyal and are settling. I'd rather know he is proven capable of maintaining proper boundaries in friendships with women than be unpleasantly surprised when he accidentally gets himself into an emotional affair years down the line. Which has a higher probability of happening if he never learned how to hold true when my back is turned.

I agree with you that she is very socially conscious and that the easiest way to patch that up is with a shiny job title. But most people can be sold on a lot of things if one is a good storyteller. If she can present him to her snobs as a simply devoted art connoisseur and a man that can quote all of Shakespeare's works, she'd likely be way more content as that is also a socially acceptable way of one-upmanship in those circles. People often recognise that their true issue is socially frowned u…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/24 01:37 PM

I suspect that she finds him intellectually incurious or their connection just generally lacking depth, that there is nothing that stirs his drive and passions. Then for some stupid reason, probably because she is similarly an uninspired person, she focused on the job, because that is clearly all she has. The point is she recognizes the void, but misattributes the solution, because right from the start she is looking for something she herself doesn't offer.

If she means driven as in exclusively career accolades chasing, I don't get her. But if she is talking about needing to respect and admire your SO for long-term happiness, then I absolutely get her and share her opinion; which is what I suspect she was going for but lost the plot along the way.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 11:19 PM

It's not uniquely a men's issue, if I factor in wanting a genuine full-blown connection, I've only liked 3.5 men in my life and of them was gay. Also, most of the connections were partial, the kind where there may not be enough to build for a sustainably happy long-term relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 11:18 PM

It does, yes. Any people who are just takers suck. So you both vet each other for it and problem solved
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 11:10 PM

Why would that ever put a guy into friend-zone?? That is exactly how I like them. Besides, fedoras unfairly get a bad rep, the era of cars pushed hats and long coats out of fashion due to impracticability and we are all the poorer for it!
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 11:09 PM

This wasn't about romantic gestures at all, it's about men making their gfs feel special snd cherished
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 11:02 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 10:58 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 10:54 PM

That is true, falling into toxic patterns because they work, then reinforcing them and forming a bad habit. we will get there one day 🥹 Thanks for the support, we absolutely will 💪
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 10:53 PM

I don't wish to invalidate your feelings as I fon't know the particulars, but didn't you first get on her ass about the crush and simps, it was a bit intense, and not something most people would like. Maybe you can bury the hatchet and make merry?

<image> What (most) women really want
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 10:48 PM

Why are you so on Hannah? I don't get it, she has a long reputation of being nice, solid and likeable, so yeah people like interacting with her because of it?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 10:46 PM

Hahah I'm sadly not there where I can gently coach myself along either; good on working on it, it's huge! I'll try switching to it when I have more good days than bad ones, hopefully it'll work 🤞
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 10:44 PM

I was somewhat productive, not as I should have been, but not that bad where I'll feel guilty about it either. How do you do it, please teach me your ways, sweet princess
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 10:35 PM

Not a turn on at all. There is only one man I trust to drive like that and it's my uncle because he knows everything, even what to do if one gets into an accident to survive, everyone else is reckless in my eyes and thus, it's a turn off.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 10:26 PM

He is so weirdly botoxed, it's offputting. Forehead tight like a drum and then the eyes all creased because they left some movement in the interest of faking a "natural" look, except it's not really working or convincing anyone lol

My waist to hip ratio is very much in the desirable range already and I can get it pretty close to that look. Nice attempt at goading me, barely above passing effort, yet not nearly persuasive enough to convince me.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/24 09:37 PM

Who knows, I don't see it, but the important thing is that long term it doesn't look that unattainable to me 🤷🏻‍♀️

Indeed, we are, we'd had to have been pretty unobservant not to know, which is not an accusation one can level at me with any accuracy, I'm pleased to say. In any case, free man, reshuffling of cards, new opportunities to seize, gooo you lol
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/24 07:43 PM

Well damn, then I most humbly beg thy pardon for my erronously outdated conclusion. Pray, continue simping for the fair ladies as the list demands (and do forget anything about any such nonsense as payback, never even happened 😅)

Haha ask him, I'm not telling 😉
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/24 06:48 PM

Oh I know, most men are very open and vocal about their types and will collectively hold the fort and defend their brethren even over hypocritical preferences that they themselves do not meet, as you've aptly pointed out.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/24 06:43 PM
2

Ah maybe, but I'd say a number one slot is different. Steakman, this is payback 😋
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/24 06:38 PM
1

Lol I'm exaggerating a little for effect (I am fond of it), but that's the spirit basically. Exactly, you get it, I'm glad to find like-minded people! That can never insult me as it reeks of insecurity, need to shame and drag others down and someone revealing all of those negative things about themselves and wanting to feel morally superior to me at the same time just doesn't go together, those two things cannot coexist lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/24 05:56 PM

I never understood the shame behind being called shallow, as I find it weirdly such a compliment; like yes you can recognize I'm going after quality in every way, it is that plainly visible. Gooo me lol?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/24 05:22 PM
2

Quality guys only tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/24 05:16 PM

Same, and even if we do have them they'll be unreasonably expensive
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/24 05:14 PM
1

Just saying, I slid into a guy's dms just because I found him funny, without ever knowing what he looked like (not saying looks don't matter, as they obviously do). Hm I'd say it's underrated with blackpillers, hard to judge with everyone else, it varies on case by case basis. We all prefer different types of humor, but I'm not into excessive toilet humor or too much of the stereotyping men/women humor, so someone who heavily relies on those is not someone I'd connect with well.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/24 05:12 PM

*her mum, but yes. I don't remember there being hints about veritaserum, just major pressure; she later tried to use it on Harry tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/24 12:21 PM
1

A caveat is that I have no horse in this game and I firmly believe suspension is majorly unwarranted. I'm also on sporadically, so that can affect it too. All that said, no one said anything about an extreme, just that in someone's take against women you can have flavours of misgyny to it or not; e.g. a lot of men and women here have spoken against some traits more seen in women and they had zero bad faith bitterness to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/24 12:15 PM
1

Oh no, no using L against me, you scallywag 😭 Oh yeah, I've noticed, but I think he intentionally plays more of a character, so I scale it differently then. Look, most of us here have takes that are not one-dimensionally pro one-side. But that doesn't mean some of them are not leaning more towards misgony or misandry in some people.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/24 12:05 PM
2

She's young, so I'm sure it'll get better with time, and it's not nearly as bad as some others. Ehh we all notice easier when someone is speaking against our own gender more 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/24 10:10 AM

Huzzaah others see it too, it's so obviously hilarious
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/24 09:52 AM

It's not a lot to hide, it's just an unwilligness to be a guy's fetish, because we want, imagine the absurdity of that, someone who actually likes us for us
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/24 08:25 AM

Well then I hope you don't have to take too long in waiting for her🤞
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/24 11:16 PM

Lol prostitues are around everywhere, it doesn't have to be legal for it to still be very much available, unfortunately. Sure, you can desire it, most desire similarly; but that's sex with strings, not just sex. Lol and where have I done so, it's just simple deduction.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/24 11:09 PM
2

Aren't you yourself an example against your hypothesis? If you wanted just sex and if just sex gave life any meaning, you'd have visited a prostitute as soon as you had the money. Therefore, just sex means nothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/24 11:00 PM
1

Yeah I'm not surprised with that flair lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/24 10:39 PM

Lol I still feel for me; they are taking enjoyment away from us cause it's not a proper victory when your opponents have their hands tied behind their backs
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/24 10:38 PM

Damn, that is unfair. What fun is there if we can't poke fun at each other??
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/24 10:28 PM

I hate people like that, I hope you are well and it's not one of the bad ones. Leave the bitch in the dust and if you feel it won't drain you, go on a brutal reputation killing spree
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/24 10:27 PM

Both great choices, brains, social awkwardness and manners truly are the holy trinity. I don't find that any adaptation has truly nailed Darcy yet, for all that Colin Firth is beloved and comes the closest, thus, I concur with Darcy from the book as well.

/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/24 10:02 PM

It was always the personality for me, his face is kind of like those average face mashups, neither a draw nor a deterrent, but he is such a try-hard, it becomes unappealing. I cannot even rate him objectively as I find him that annoying, but I think they are very close, maybe Gosling has a touch more interesting face to me, so I'd give him a slight edge. As to why I find him dislikable, he has the personality of those women who are fake nice, in such an overdone way it can be spotted a mile away…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/24 11:44 PM

Oh I enjoyed that movie a lot, a great choice for providing supporting evidence ;)

/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/24 11:20 PM

I never could stand him and never understood the appeal, either in looks or in personality. Ryan Gosling is so obviously the superior Ryan.

If they can't think with their own head, provided your behaviour was all above board, but have a shared herd braincell, then it is genuinely not your loss, as you haven't lost on a chance with a woman of any intellect, thus value. I guarantee you even if she gossips, not every woman that heard the story will share her opinion. The thing that won't pass easily with women is if we feel you are treating dancing class as a dating pl…

But dating, like flirting is just selecting people you get on whith and filtering out the rest. So even if some women are not feeling you and are prone to overreacting about it, that just means you filtered each other out as intended. Which is actually great news as it means that people who stay will genuinely see something they like in you. Quality over quantity, always.

Wait, you harassed Hannah?? One of the nicest girls and one that we all like. How very dare you!? Besides, most of the time users don't flirt here, maybe very lightly, it's usually silly banter that developed through months of interaction 🙄

I see her, and their relationship as really toxic, but I don't see him as a victim. To me, a victim is someone who not only suffers, but someone who is stuck in their suffering because getting out of the situation is extremely hard. If you willingly stay when you have an open and relatively easy pathway to your own salvation, then you are a masochist or a martyr, and not a victim.

Right, exactly! Both parties are supposed to do their due diligence before marriage and unless someone is hugely and unexpectedly changing conditions, you should know what you have gotten yourself into. Not go behind her back and do it anyways This is the part I don't get. I never got going behind someone's back for something, if I believe it's my right to do something, you better believe I'm gloriously dying on that hill transparently. You are talking about something else entirely, when I said having children should not be unrelated to marriage, it was implying that children from stable, married parents have the best outcomes, so having children out of wedlock should not be encouraged, barring extreme circumstances like abuse, imo. There's your problem, women want men that outearn them, and are willing to pay for things. Lets be honest, who wouldn't want an idealised partner that could give you an easy leg-up in life? But, for…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/24 11:36 PM
1

Why do you think same-sex marriage is broadly recognized? Do you think biological children are the only children that count? Why do you think I'm discounting same-sex marriage here at all?? You're still losing out on a 50/50 split. Going back to my first point, you choose someone who is relatively similar to you there when proposing marriage, if you value equal contributions and equal distributions.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/24 11:23 PM
1

They both suck in the way they are not choosing the right course of action; I never claimed they sucked equally, in fact, I even stated she sucks more. She is being a mental, controlling shrew, that was never in question. My comment was more to the effect that I dislike people who avoid confrontation by keeping something they know will piss someone else off. If you know you are still going to do it, do it in front of God, country and your crazy wife, openly own it and draw your own boundaries.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/24 11:18 PM
1

Thought you meant "partner", at any rate it's unrelated to marriage. Having children should not be unrelated to marriage. Egalitarian is when the income split is less than 60/40, but one can still be earning noticeably more than the other. Fair, but when one gets into higher than average incomes, it can paint an unrealistic picture on the significance of someone's contribution.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/24 11:10 PM
1

Being a stay-at-home wife without children is a fucking joke. She has barely more housework compared to if she was single and living alone. It's pure unadulterated parasitism that's further enabled by asset division on divorce. Dude, SAHP usually means stay-at-home-parent. I don't disagree that SAHW if there are no dependents in her care is a joke. I literally cited the information You literally edited it in after I've already replied, but whatever. Also, sole and primary provider being lumped t…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/24 11:03 PM
1

Yes, but if she is bringing in $0 because she is contributing to the family as SAHP, he will "lose" half. In all other situations in which both sides are working, it's impossible and frankly worthless to speculate on the difference in incomes, if one doesn't have the information.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/24 10:50 PM
1

The only way in which the guy "loses" is if his wife is a SAHM to his children and the court will have to divide the assets with that in mind to recompense her for her contributions. SAHW without children are an order of magnitude rarer to basically be an irrelevant point of discussion.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/24 10:47 PM
1

How so? Ahh this western obsession with assigning a victim role to every situation and diluting the meaning of the name for actual victims is quite tiresome.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/24 10:42 PM
1

Lol ah yes, because men both take a hit to their bodies and careers in case the couple has bio children. In any case, it's relatively easy not to set yourself up for losing, just pick carefully who you marry.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/24 10:38 PM
2

I think they personally both suck. She is obviously insanely insecure and controlling, which is the worst offence, but I cannot abide spinelessness. Tell the controlling idiot to her face what's happening and set your own conditions since you clearly disagree, or better yet divorce, instead of both playing into this exhausting game of neverending misery. Could never be me.

It's character growth! She spent her whole life being called disgusting for her curse! Of course she internalized it! Ha, as a cursed woman that has had plenty of character growth, though needs to have plenty more, I can assure you that's not how it works. I always thought of it as a fairytale for men, and not a solid one, like the Princess Bride. What woman would choose a short-tempered ill-mannered ogre living in a swamp? Also, she is happy with downgrading and becoming an ogre herself that lives in the swamp?? Boggles the mind. I mean in women's unrealistic fairtales at least the woman is regularly the prettiest and the kindest in the village.

/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/24 10:05 PM

Ugh fine, but promise to read more books. As the resident Queen, 'tis is not kingly behaviour, asking for validation on such self-evident topics. Too long have I stood by and watched this nonsense, but no more. You, sire, are not worthy of your crown and therefore, I must raise a revolt against you.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/24 09:56 PM

Bring it back, Princess Hannah, and let no detractors dim your shine. It is most justly earned.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/24 09:35 PM

Ah, my meaning was mistaken, I shall correct it for clarity's sake, My Lord. Plainly, should my reign extend for a duration of ten thousand years, I shall require your unwavering allegiance for that time and one day more.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/24 09:30 PM

Indeed, Your Grace. And may your allegiance persist for another day beyond it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/24 09:14 PM

Be warmly welcome at court and bring unto us many merry wisdoms, Your Grace.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/24 09:00 PM

As the resident Queen, I find myself compelled to speak on this matter. No longer can I, in good conscience, bear witness to such folly, for 'tis beneath the dignity of thy station to seek validation upon matters so plain and self-evident. Thou, sire, hast proven unworthy of thy crown, and thus, by the immortal power flowing through my veins, I do declare a revolt. Thy reign is at an end, by my divine ruling.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/24 08:36 PM

What do you need that poser for? As the resident Queen, unmatched in power by puny mortals: I, Persephone, by the Grace of Hades, Queen of the Underworld, do hereby elevate my loyal servant, Mouslimanoktonos, to the rank and title of Duke of PPD, purveyor of knowledge. I bestow upon him and his heirs all the rights, privileges, and responsibilities associated with this title. Let this decree of mine be known to all. Now, go forth and commit expert tomfoolery, Your Grace.

Sure, some women like that exist. But it happens more with women sending signals to strangers they are interested in, rather than in actual friendships and relationships; that said, I do not deny that some toxic women don't get rid of it ever.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 09:58 PM

Men use their voices like commanders, while women like seducers, the latter being how the Voice is most commonly used. So both use voice to influence, just in different ways. From what I've seen it the movie, it looked closer to commanding type, I guess that's where my confusion comes from. If it is presented as more of a seducing quality in the books, then yes, it would fall under the feminine qualities. I just said that ruling in the shadow of male grandiosity is usually how femininity is conc…

What is that supposed to mean 😑
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 08:41 PM

Not necessarily, you can have companionship with or without love. It is not the word I'd use when describing wanting mutual feelings precisely because of how very unromantic a lot of its connotations are.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 08:40 PM

Lol precisely that, neighbour
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 08:32 PM

Enough women do it that guys will warn their fellow guy friends and sons to not open up or express vulnerability to their women SO's in case it gets weaponized against them or she leaves. Ironically choosing the kind of bad vetting strategy they are accusing women of using. Redditors are allergic to nuance. Bro, you just didn't get it. I considered the nuance in the part where I said that reveals the woman as a bad option. But instead men also apparently believe that they have a power to magical…

/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/24 04:01 PM

That's an overly simplified view, as on average women also cultivate their social connections more and don't just rely on getting into a relationship.

Time and time again men AND women will share stories of women losing their attraction to men who showed vulnerability or "feminine" emotions in front of them. Sure, some women do that. But the way I see it, there are two potential explanations, neither of which warrants complaining. Either she lost attraction over a trivial thing, in which case you found out she was never a good potential partner. Win. Or the dude was genuinelly emotionally immature and disregulated way too much, in which case i…

She did think it was important, she just thought she had it with the ex, except with time she realized she didn't. They were together for several years and the relationship with the new BF is under a year. She is a social butterfly, outgoing, bubbly, energetic, always likes to have the next outing planned, while the ex was introverted, reticent, heavily preferred to stay indoors and only hung out with his few friends. Those are the kind of differences that show themselves more with time, not som…

No to any of your guesses, but I do appreciate a fellow conspirator on the topic of crushes ;). I'll just say it's not an easy guess as he currently has no account.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/24 11:56 PM

i think i know who you are talking about lol I'm unfortunately not exactly subtle haha. Oh I feel you. Men don't get how powerful even just words on a screen can be. Yeah I get why with the reasons too. But it's still nice to have a crush.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/24 11:52 PM

She started dating him younger and they weren't a bad fit, just not a great one. It took time to discover that even with shared values, they really lacked shared interests that would pull them together. So it did matter to her, but it's something that she didn't even know she needed before and now she does.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/24 11:48 PM

Oh totally, I've been entirely enchanted by his single-minded dedication to the cause 😂.

Oh he isn't here now, so that's why I can share. He'll come back with a new account to be annoying soon enough tho lol. i kinda have a ppd crush but i will not share who under an circumstance lol Don't share, just go get him sis 😉. my original tmi i thought of sharing was that sometimes i cry when i’m horny 🫣 Noice, and not bad at all. When I'm in my fertile period (tmi sorry lol), I'm both more likely to be horny and to cry, usually not together, but I can't say it hasn't happened haha.

Because the new BF is a dental technician, shorter than the previous one/similar height to her and slightly less objectively good looking, though still good looking enough. So his stats are less impressive than the ex's, but she likes him much better because of his personality.

The vast majority of women prefer similar, men too. Usually those who have relationship experience also want someone who has approximately the same amount of experience and so on. In short, you cannot judge preferences of virgin women based on preferences of women into casual sex, they are never going to match up.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/24 10:59 PM
1

Ahh well since you asked. I know who my likely final friend is going to be, i.e. what cancer I'm having decently high chances of getting. That's why I don't want to drag anyone into a relationship with me. So, you got any of the other bases covered to share?

So we recently met my friend's new BF. Before that she was in a serious long-term relationship with a good looking tall doctor that she dumped after some agonizing as they weren't a good fit personality wise. Now, the new guy is worse on paper, but she is so much happier, she is literally giddy as she found a guy who gets her. The normies really are living their best blue pill life unbothered.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/24 10:14 PM
3

No, I prefer a guy who is a virgin or has a low n count, as a virgin myself. If there was a relatively large disparity between myself and a guy I'm potentially interested in, it would signify to me we view sex completely differently and thus don't have shared values.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/24 09:35 PM

You also have people like qoves that are selling you tailored face ratings by an "expert team" that will tell you all you need to get done to look like a mathematically idealized version of yourself. Not just him, I've seen others selling similar. Patreon is always an option as well, as you've said. But the point is building a loyal fanbase first and then you can launch and sell them a product later, easiest scheme in the world. Happens a lot in the fitness world too.

What an outrageous misleading generalization that doesn't take people's bad habits and causes into account. Here you go. "Fat-free mass-adjusted expenditure accelerates rapidly in neonates to ~50% above adult values at ~1 year; declines slowly to adult levels by ~20 years; *remains stable in adulthood (20 to 60 years), even during pregnancy*; then declines in older adults." It declines much older than the couch potatoes wish to claim, so unless one is 60+ there is no excuse. Plus, "after the age…

if he saw how bad his political views were, he would probably regret saying that just like any other person in the past That is hard to claim, there might be too much cultural shock for a lot of them, but some opinions would probably get revised. I think that interpreting historical figures in historical context is an important, but sadly an oft forgotten approach. doesn't take away his validity as one of the greats No one in possession of a brain cell is trying to do that.

It is not my wish to talk down to you, but I find it interesting how both you and I share a relatively common childhood experience, and yet how we processed it differently. My dearly departed grandpa used to call me "the prettiest girl in the whole world" when I was a child. I had eyes even then and could see that wasn't what he really meant or what was the reality. What he meant was that I was the most loved little girl. That was the reason why he was the only one I allowed to call me the prett…

I am a strong opponent of the neoliberal, laissez-faire capitalism Fair enough, I'm the same. That's why a strong state is needed to regulate it imo. Doesn't it also promote social ownership of the means of production? Socialism does, but the new more palatable versions that spawned from it are all much less married to it. I still believe in private property. Ha no yugonostalgia in you, neighbour. This made me wonder, how do you believe the economy should be structured? My opinion is still in fl…

That's all anecdotal evidence. Sure, and it's inescapably overwhelming. That sucks... for you in particular. I don't see how it sucks for me in particular, apart from wishing to free my mother of it. I love my father and he is generally quite a good dad, but he sucks as a husband and that's the reality that I see all around me.

Lol deal, you too go forth into the world and do your stabby knightly duty as your queen commands.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/24 06:00 PM

Of course that happily married is the state most strive for for a reason. But out of all the people around me, I know maybe one happily married woman, the rest are all relatively miserable. And being miserable in your own company is vastly preferable to being miserable coupled. My own mother has implied several times that if she were independently wealthy she would not be married and that she is only glad to be so because of the kids and family she gained from it, not her husband.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/24 05:37 PM
1

That's true. My cousin has successfully set up her friend that women were rejecting for years because he was too effeminate for them. The key distinction though is that women need to be your actual close friends, and not just some people you occasionally hang out in a group setting with.

If I ever ended up in that situation, I'd be the first to abort the baby, whether it's a boy or a girl. The romantic prospects would be the least of my worries, and I'd be pretty concerned for our continued domestic felicity if my hypothetical husband wasn't thinking similarly.

Ugh I feel for you. That is the fastest way for me to get the ick from a guy. The unconsensual visual and audible assault on my senses just makes me want to stab them with a fork. Table manners are so underrated in regards to projecting unattractiveness.

The general tenets of liberalism are personal liberty, capitalism and free market, and of course private property. Your stated opinion fits in with those, doesn't it? Left is very anti-hierarchical, as you well know. Modern version of socialism is just softer left repackaged, with heavy focus on workers' rights, welfare state, promoting equality and interventionism along with mixed economy with a strong public sector.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/24 03:52 PM

Don't tell me you too are prone to mixing up left and liberal policies, neighbour. Sounds like you are still pretty clasically economically liberal, just with little to no traces of modern socialism or any left-ism mixed in.

Lol no, that's just indirectly making all the men and women support them anyway. Also, statistically those kids are more fucked up and behind their peers. I care for the kids, who don't deserve it, over adults in such situations.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 09:47 PM
1

No one is making men do anything, those who can are more than free to casually date. Besides, that existed in hippie communes of the past century. They started falling apart precisely in the moment when women started popping out kids and no men felt an obligation to step up due to parental ambiguity and all the free-living. The new mothers where the ones who were suddenly no longer happy with the arrangement.

Croatia. Catholic guilt is hard to shake and people around me are more schooling and job focused, so dating is more if you meet the right person kind of thing, not something a lot are actively seeking.

have to put more effort in order to have sex appeal, as it is largely tied to their masculinity. Eh somewhat. How can he be a sub-4 when he looks like literally anyone you would see at a Home Depot on a Sunday? I'm not American, so our men just try more clearly. It's not that he's ugly. He is ugly. Being ugly isn't tied to his worth. As I've already said, if he wishes not to be, he needs to step it up. He is ugly and yes, I wouldn't date someone I thought was ugly. There is no moral worth to looks, so I have no issues "telling on myself" there. If he wishes to be better looking, he can work on it, there is always potential.

He is definitely prettyish. As you said, he's nothing special, but kinda cute if you look at him a bit longer. Fair I guess, but men have it a bit worse than women in that they have to have some sexual appeal in their look/posture. I can tell through the pictures he doesn't have any. But he does have a bit of potential for more. He's just like... average. Like, a completely average middle-aged guy. I don't know if I come from a family of decent looking men or what, but usually average middle-age…

What are you smoking, neighbour?? He may be sweet and nice and a good uncle, but he's not a good looking one. We don't have to pretend people are okay looking to find them worthwhile. The young dude is average, but has no appeal which brings him down, and the older is just plain ugly.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 08:04 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 05:09 PM

Tightness in my calves, mostly my left that leads to actual cramps anytime I stretch my toes. It's been going for weeks. I'm taking potassium supplements, and will try taking really small doses of Mg, which is probably one of the issues of it not healing, but I have to take that one cautiously. You can reduce it with some stretching/not being a lazy couch potato. Lol I'm trying.

I don't want to seem like I'm anti-medical advice, as I'm actually very pro it; it's just that the doctors here are overworked and underpaid, thus mostly uninterested. They'll just tell me to stop and to accept the reality, which I'm not planning on doing.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 04:40 PM

get a massage machine off of Amazon. Solid thought. I go swimming regularly and I do stretch before any exercise. My muscles just suck.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 04:20 PM

I don't care about them being sore, it's just every time I stretch, even in sleep, I get cramping in my left calf. Right too, but quite a bit less so, that one is almost fine. Thank you, I really appreciate the advice, but there is nothing doctors here can do for me. I'll fiddle with it and figure it out.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 04:12 PM

Neighbor, you're not supposed to completely destroy yourself in the gymnasion. Quality rest is as important to muscle growth as quality workout. I know all that, I'm not a simpleton, neighbour. It has been years since I last broke any bones, so I'd say I've vastly improved. I'm not trying to grow any muscles atm, I just don't want to have the constitution of a Victorian lady as I've more than had enough. You will simply have to wait until the cramps are gone and then workout with a greater degre…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 04:05 PM

I'm already taking potassium, but I have to be careful with the rest. Ig there is massaging to try. Thanks :)
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 03:55 PM

I may have been overdoing it, but they just have to keep up already. Eh physicians mostly suck, they've given me Mg supplements, which are contraindicated for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 03:53 PM

Good luck, there is absolutely nothing they've got to be disappointed in! 🥂 And if they do, it's just parents being overbearing, standard stuff, and that too shall pass as they will leave.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 03:50 PM

I am doing that. It's not gone for weeks, it's not going away on its own.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 03:44 PM

I'll try it, thanks :)

Gymbros and gals, are there any remedies for muscle cramps apart from magnesium supplements, muscle relaxants or painkillers??
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 03:36 PM

Lol, why don't you take a look over the comments under this one. Eh not imposing modern laws and standards on historical people and figures is something most struggle with (Mother Teresa being another infamous example). Kinda-sorta. Both Josef Mengele and Shiro Ishii both got away and died in their 60s. The rest, I think, were indeed penalised. I did say tried, not convicted. I know some were acquitted, that several life imprisonments got shortened and that some hanged, like Hitler's personal ph…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 03:30 PM

And there are less and less mixed friend groups with all the fearmongering and discouragement of male and female friendships. Which is a damn shame, because that's the way we learn to live outside our bubbles, expand our perspectives and not look at each other as competition. If we don't have healthy cross-gender socialization, how can we hope to have healthy relationships?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 03:10 PM

That's self-evident. Weren't doctors also tried for illegal human experimentation for the first time in history then as well? Because previously there was no distinction between legal and illegal ways of using humans as lab rats.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 03:03 PM

Not really or not mostly, I think it's mainly due to unequal attraction levels. My guess is that those people/women belong closer to the heteroflexible scale of being bisexual.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 02:59 PM

Yeah, but do be compassionate to understand that most men haven't been socialised to read through the female lines. Indeed, I am the soul of compassion and I say this non-sarcastically. If a woman constantly keeps exalting love, romance and the like over sex, while also rolling her eyes at male sexual antics, most men are going to internalise it and believe her. I see, the educational system is the one failing everyone. That does need to be fixed. Many do say this and still consider it important…

I wasn't trying to sugarcoat, just point out the lacking education, which is not the same as being dumb. Everyone unfamiliar, which is most here, needs to read up on logical syllogism and its visual representation through Venn diagrams.

It's about misandry and misogyny in South Korea, not everywhere, not us in Europe. One can talk about misandry on an individual level there as one can everywhere, but systematically they have a huge problem with misogyny.

Yes, but my point was that men are honest and direct about the necessity of frequent sex, while women are outwardly all about love, romance, cuddling, marriage, soulmates, etc. Ah ah neighbour, keeping schtum/being discrete/indirect on the topic isn't the same thing as not valuing the thing in question. Preferring men's approach is one thing and definitely understandable, but you are logically inferring something for which there is no basis. All of those things women proclaim wanting are not exc…

Look, I do sympathize with men on the issue, attracting women isn't easy, even for the naturally lucky minority. In the OLD days with the illusion of being spoiled for choice it's even harder because everyone is searching for princes and princesses. But I was talking about logic here, aka the study of reasoning. You cannot wrongly claim something failing logic while never actually knowing any of its principles. They are truly not mutually exclusive statements. Please refer to my comment here.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/24 04:01 PM

Isn't that true for most though? They say when sex is good, it's 10% of the relationship, but 90% of the relationship when it's bad. Frequency is part of it too, I imagine. Then they either start immediately whining ("Waaaah, you don't love me anymore!") or cheat under the justification that their partner has been neglectful (the same thing they usually are). Based on my reading, so admittedly it's anecdotal, men use the same excuses. It's almost like people are unoriginal, and no one more so th…

Except the circles of "looks aren't that important" and "who said looks weren't important" definitely overlap in the Venn diagram. Thus, she wasn't contradicting herself as per the words you used here, you just have a lacking knowledge in maths and logic. Just say if you need me to overexplain, I'm always quite happy to teach some basic maths.

You are strawmanning. He wasn't saying any such things, but talking about the issue of calling out alleged misandry in South Korea. It's impossible to talk about it is as a systematic issue over there, as behind the thin respectability veneer they obsessively maintain the deep underbelly hides pure abusive misogyny.

Cockroaches may be as a group, but you're a single lonesome one that's already rotting so it's easy for me to spot you. Also, how well you accepted your role, well done, little cockroach. I need no recognition and recognize no authority of mere squashable playthings in the jaws of mighty predators such as myself. Besides, how telling you went for a snail lol. It's possible, but isn't friendzone something invented and mostly used by men who can't deal with the fact a woman isn't attracted to them in that way and being a friend won't change that? Yeah it is how it originally started, but as all things do with time it outgrew itself. It's not women using the term as much, but women absolutely complain about their friend asking them out or confessing and that changing the paradigm of the simpy friendship. I'd argue this is a normal and most common sequen…

/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/24 03:38 PM
2

I'm saying that women apply the term friendzone too broadly. Sometimes people fall for their friends with time, they don't start out having had the crush on them. Women also label those guys as always having had secret intentions. I'd argue that this happens more often than either of the other iterations you mentioned. We remained friends, but I wasn't in the friendzone anymore and haven't been ever since. Good for you, buddy. I've had similar situations.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/24 03:30 PM
2

I think it depends on the situation. I've been on both sides, all of us have eventually gotten over it. Some of them I did lose, but not to the crush, rather to the change of circumstance where usually they moved away, so the contact sort of died down naturally. If I saw them more, we'd all be open to renewing the friendship.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/24 03:23 PM
2

The sisterhood has already come, that's what prompted this lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/24 03:09 PM
3

I think after you enter your twenties if you are not aware of your friend's baseline friendliness, it's either malicious or super emotionally unaware aka dumb, both of which speak poorly of you as a person.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/24 02:58 PM
3

I've never gotten the outrage over it. I get how they are sad about it, but to shame and twist someone's intentions is just coconuts.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/24 02:54 PM
11

One thing I will give to men is the "friendzone". A lot of women purposefully misinterpret a guy falling for them over a normal course of the friendship and then screech to high heavens when they lose those benefits when he wants some distance to get over her. Sorry, you are not a valuable friend either if you don't want to ease the suffering for your buddy.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/24 08:08 PM

Same is true with freedom and government, as was recently evidenced by covid mandates, which is one of the rare times they used their power to limit freedoms for common good. All of it works as long as the masses obey, but as I keep saying, it's so much easier to derail and tire out the masses as they can be divided and conquered in vast majority of the cases, than it is to radically change the systems and people in power.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/24 05:44 PM
1

What he believed and where power truly resides are two totally different things, it just proves how dumb he was to miss the obvious. The people couldn't have done anything, the military was the one that refused to comply. Morsi was the only civillian to hold the office in 60 years. Power has been with the army and has stayed with it. Egypt still is a military dictatorship, nothing has changed there.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/24 08:34 AM

Post-collonially Nasser gave the power to the military and Mubarak was only the symptom of the problem, not the entirety of it. Egypt's problems are still as they were as the army rules with the iron fist through General Abdel Fattah el-Sisi The revolution cut off just one head of the snake and left the power vacuum which brought other bad actors into play, chief among them being Mohamed Morsi. I'm not propsoing selecting in, more selecting out. Selecting out the horrifying genetic mutations and finding a way that people in active addiction don't reproduce and fuck up their kids. Can you try to organize a referendum against your government and lead a rebellion defending your citizens rights to self-determination as Carles Puigdemont discovered? Can you peacefully protest without them discrediting you or arresting you from the places you choose to gather? Can you refuse to sell your land if the new proposed plan puts important roads/motorways/whatever across your land …

People in active addiction and those for whom genetics can reliably predict low functioning offspring or otherwise extremely hard or short life. The families who've rolled the dice on other children when their firstborn is having a horrible time have zero sympathy for me. Genetic testing should be mandatory and if you are both carriers for the same disease, no natural conception for you.

Here nearly everyone's been going to some variation of clubbing, dancing, bars since the start of high school. It's hard to guess, because there is a mix of both groups for both men and women. It's also more common to kiss someone than to have casual sex with them. If I had to guess, ime best predictors for high n counts are poverty, broken and unstable families (usually daddy issues in women), binge drinking and/or drug use, being intellectually incurious, women who have converted to or redisco…

If anything, I think it's a great litmus test of both your bf, and your friends to a lesser degree. There was a girl in our friend group who introduced us to her bf who so clearly thought he was hot shit and was inappropriate towards every single one of us. None of us were shocked when they broke up a few years later. Also, if another woman can take him, I'd prefer knowing as soon as possible, and she can have him with my blessings.

Also, sounds like there is some interesting stories there.

I always disliked speaking in plural to a single person. Neighbour, what 👀 I won't forbid them to do so when I'm not present, but when I am, they will have to be formal. As if an ordinary citizen can forbid something to someone when they are not present; the sheer reasonableness of you.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/24 04:27 PM

That's a limiting view, you can't accurately gage how charmed someone's life has been based on looks and demeanor; also, some of them have blossomed later and have absolutely worked hard for it.

It depends entirely on the ring and how many rings someone usually wears. If she wears several, it's aesthetics based. If the ring doesn't look like a traditional engagement or wedding ring, it's clearly not intended to represent one. Long story short, if she is not otherwise pushing the commitment timeline, a pretty ring is usually just a pretty ring.

Consistent with our suggestion, we show that men may have higher IQs than women because they are taller, and once we control for height women have slightly higher IQs than men. The correlation between height and IQ and the female advantage in intelligence persist even after we control for health as a measure of genetic quality, as well as physical attractiveness, age, race, education, and earnings. Height is also strongly associated with intelligence within each sex. From your own cited paper.

If enough men aren't getting laid, then it may put women's rights in danger politically. I sincerely doubt it. Men have their porn and their video games which provide just enough dopamine for them not to be motivated to do anything. Besides, to be a revolutionary you have to be the dominant leader type that will inspire and subjugate other men as well as women, many of whom are living a charmed life; the basement dwellers definitely don't have that in them. Historically the vast majority of rabb…

Oh yeah, that is a weak, testing no they usually want you to smash, if they loudly announced something. They just want you to be the bad influence, so they can maintain the illusion of clean consciousness. Women do it more often, but men do it as well ime. That's why I prefer for my my refusals to be silent. I’d just like for feminists to admit that this is a contributing factor to the 🍇culture before having any discussion about what to do about it. It absolutely is in some cases, they are being…

While you may appreciate the women of old, the unfortunate truth is that most were little more than slaves of the household of their birth family and later of the household of their in-laws. Mothers-in-law have always been particularly nasty towards their daughters-in-law. I think it depends on which families you come from. My great-grandmas were all fans of my grandmas and one even lightly manipulated her son, my grandpa, and grandma into getting back together when they briefly broke up. There …

It's more like my view of the ideal femininity consists of an excess of soft power and the ability to easily pull the strings like a puppeteer from the shadows. That's how our grandmas did it basically, or mine at least. Basically, a real woman is a femme fatale. That also comes with its dark side, such a woman can manipulate you easily to her own ends too. However will you know if you fell for her organically or if she's lying to you; maybe that does not matter in the face of such lofty goals?

After is better, but it's not going to stay looking better long term. Lip filler is usually detectable if one uses it continuously and then the lips just start looking odd as the filler migrates. There are surgical options that give you a similar look and I think those are superior just based on longevity of the results.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 07:40 PM

So you want to be manipulated into love, but then you are both in love for real and she uses the cunning to scheme against your enemies and to influence people, one of which is also possibly your son? How droll, neighbour.

That phrase should be amended to "children need a father figure", it doesn't have to be the biological father filling the role at all. The effect, controlling for other variables, is the same. Children need good fathers, not any fathers. Many fathers should and deserve to be left. Well said.

Of course women don't want that. Why would I ever want someone who only sees a woman, instead of me? Who only mildly likes me at best? Often people need breaks from people they adore, imagine how miserable it would be to live and share your life with someone who you barely get on with.

If my potential partner was into gender roles, we would straight up not have have a good time either of us. I don't want to conform to some silly rigid structures just because I'm a woman, nor would I ask the same back. I aspire towards self-sufficiency and I would like someone similar, then we can divide and conquer based on affinity and fairness. I see no downsides to a pretty boy lol

Sure, everyone should be taught that, but for some people lessons don't stick. Knowing how to make a proper risk assessment is another valuable lesson kids should be taught, that way they can judge a situation based on reality and not on pretty fantasy.

Should discussions are largely pointless. No one should murder anyone, we should all learn to communicate better, be more tolerant and so on ad infinitum. It is on us all to use our best judgement when considering our own choices and others' potential reactions.

Yes, Croats. 20th century had a lot of forced unity which culminated in both genocide from us and invading war from them.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/24 12:05 PM

It's not them, it's more us and it's mutual. None of the above applies for reasonable people, naturally
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/24 11:48 AM

Hahah sometimes it totally is on them. Well said, buddy
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/24 11:40 AM

We are all contradictory beings and our desires reflect that, so I don't blame men for a lot of their fantastical wishes either. We also highly praise uniqueness and extraordinary feats, so someone who manages to catch lightning in a bottle and embody the one highly desirable trait without its accompanying sullying counterpart is an individual most coveted. I am aware of Plato's and Voltaire's views on the topic and how the odds are tragically low.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/24 10:59 AM

Yes, hostile sexism is unattractive and benevolent sexism is favoured by women; only those two most often correlate as studies show, which is just damn rotten luck.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/24 10:07 AM

You are talking about a different thing than the one you quoted. Traditional femininity is just a role women either fill or discard, it has nothing to do with being a woman or what would benefit a woman most. Confirming to old school feminine ideal is too high risk to ever be a smart strategy. That's in addition to being very confining for many, if not most, of us.

It depends on how deeply you want an enthusiastic partner in that area. Because imo even if you manage to overcome it now, she can slide back after kids or in a few years when life and routine get hard and overwhelming. Then you'll have to repeat these cycles. It depends a lot on how the meds are affecting her, so maybe off them, she becomes the old her again.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/24 10:39 AM
1

Depends on what you define as provider instincts. If you mean someone completely dependent on you, I'd say there are some men like that, but not the majority. If you are talking more about being gallant with their time, energy and gifts, then again some have them. Both my bro and I've got those 😭

If she is not in pain and is otherwise able to function more or less normally, her stance is a bit too rigid imo. You guys can touch each other and bring each other pleasure without having piv sex. Best partnerships are never 50/50 every moment, but on average it comes out close to it. Thus, if she doesn't want to do anything for you if she doesn't see an immediate benefit to herself, it's not great news. It does sound frustrating for both and I can see how you are at the end of your rope. I hop…

What is this point of contention, if you don't mind sharing? She obviously cares for you a lot, so maybe a few days of distance wouldn't be amiss so you can both cool of a bit and then decide.

I'd not say it's an insignifcant percentage. Do you not know what a small percentage of men an average woman finds attractive? They can advance, but only some of them can ascend.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 07:42 PM

I basically went out next, which beggars belief As always, I strive to maintain pragmatism. I will accept what I realistically know I can reach. Damn buddy, you are really promoting Croatian supermacy over here. Well far it be from me to stop you
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 07:35 PM

All of what you said is true, except you underestimated the importance of looks. No one is saying only good looking people can be attractive in the eyes of the opposite sex, but there are people who look noticably below average and they will struggle more. Not all of them will struggle indefinitely, but it will still be a struggle and they will have to overcompensate in other areas.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 07:30 PM

How could have they done that to the team Balkan 😭 Also, set your expectations higher, don't go embarrasing us like that, neighbour

I never had any such apps so I don't know have a point of comparison for how detailed they are. Maybe something like that can work?

https://np.reddit.com/r/AITAH/s/Bx9p4QnsaP Q4A: What do you think of this post, a divorce worthy offense? Imo it absolutely is, nothing cures maliciousness.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 09:50 PM

So when would you disclose your preferences? What's the timeline?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 09:45 PM

That's such a narrow-minded view. You can manipulate with anything, honesty included.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 09:41 PM

Charm is not the opposite of honesty? I can be charming when I'm comfortable with people, but I don't lie to them. That said, even while charm is nice, it's not an absolute necessity; women like the stoic type too.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 09:03 PM

No, the vast majority of women do not. Women value competence and a man who treats them well. Autistic men who possess the priorely stated requirements (assuming they pass the looks threshold) do very well with women
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 08:51 PM

So you are attracted to maladapted women then? Curious, I'd have personally worked on my picker if I was in a similar position
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 08:43 PM

What would be early for you?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 08:19 PM

Q4A: Considering all the preferences you both disclosed here and haven't that could fall under dealbreakers, do you feel it is your duty to be transparent with your future dates about them, and if yes, when? Examples: that you only want casual sex with them, misogyny/misandry, low libido, kinks and fetishes, obsession with women's bmi or dick size, wanting to have other partners,...?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 08:14 PM

And here I thought your musings came better elaborated. Disappointing, comrade 😋
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 07:59 PM

Alas, I want one compatible one. Gift me one of those and all the diplomatic goodwill with accompanying pomp will be re-established. Besides, it sounds like you want two partners instead of a throuple; and all I have to say to that is 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 07:52 PM

You know you needed to be sprayed, neighbour. Muse all you like, but it's basically a recipe for disaster because accomplishing ideal conditions for it to work is nigh impossible.

omg pride and prejudice mentioned in the daily chat Haha it is sorely needed. I'm really glad you and I are holding the fort 💪 I'm very similar to you. As everything, internalizing really has its dark and light moments. But there is a much better chance for self-enlightement and progress that way, so I say that on balance it's still a better philosophy to follow than the one of eternalization, as you aptly pointed out most prefer.

I'm misantrophic too, and I've had that realization much earlier than you, at 10, so it feels like I grew up with it. In some ways it made it easier, in others harder to swallow. I’m gonna talk to her about it and lay things out on the table, Do try and be a bit more delicate about it. Otherwise, good choice about being upfront as that way you can both come to a decision on how to proceed while in possession of full knowledge.

Oh absolutely, I do too. But I'm particular about smut in the stories I read; if they are 100k+ and mostly plot heavy then I don't want true smut as I find it too jarring. But mid length or pairing focused stories where we are building to some steam, it works best in those.

Yes, she has, but paradoxally she is narratively rewarded for it and excused from the consequences of her own actions. It's maddening. you must be new to both PPD and werkind, dear neighbor. Oh if only, adorable neighbour. I feel like I've been here for eons and eons. Men are very much dependent on female attention for validation, far more than they are willing to admit. I wasn't going that far as to claim they are not. But desiring general or particular female attention is not the same as attributing it to a personal shortcoming if a single woman fails a loyalty test. They are not interchangeable and thus cannot be equated. Ma…

That's only if you think men are dependent on women's validation for their masculinity. I personally think that kind of validation is too fallible and therefore the inferior one for both genders. Imo cheating speaks on the deficiency of someone's character and their inability to master themselves and their impulses, nothing more and nothing else.

most women here want to both play at a moral juggernaut and engage in meangirl behavior. Sounds pretty similar to a lot of men here, so they are about evenly matched then. They aren't stupid, they are just normal. That wasn't said about the women here. However, women here are the ones who like to claim empathy, understanding, equality, etc., which the gets quite jarring when they start the condescension and meangirl insults. I think out of all places online, I've seen women here claim those the least. But lets say even with empathy, it's hard to have empathy for someone at th…

Women here don't have any strong arguments that doesn't boil down to "you are useless scum. Look how better me and everyone around me is than you." I've seen cases where it happens. But I've also seen a lot more cases where the "strong arguments" that men start are often just emotionally charged rants. When the begining is so twisted and provocative, the rules of that intercation are immediately negatively charged. Thus, the mud slinging that follows can't be counted against women's ability to h…

Those are insufficient because without deeper understanding you are relying on kids listening to authority in time when they are prone to rebelling. Also, on the goodwill and smart thinking of their parents, some of whom choose to stick their heads in the sand. It's important to know how the cycles work, how women get pregnant, get stds, how hormones fluctuate, how to properly take the pill, what side effects to look out for etc. Pregnancy is not the only "std" to be scared of either.

It depends on who you ask, and during which period too. The US first backed JNA (Yugoslavian army), but thankfully only shortly. Are you talking about hetero relationship violence where violence doesn't come from men? If I remember at the top of my head it was smth like 98.7% out of 35%, which would bring it down to 34.5%. If you can find the relevant numbers and statistics, I see no reasons why we shouldn't calculate them as well.

Thank you, that's very kind of you to say! I'm Croatian, so not too far away. I hope you get to enjoy the fruits of your well earned labour now 😊

Maybe online, but most people would identify as moderate IRL. Most people are also cowards, so draw your conclusion. The apolitical ones, sure. But it's becoming less common among the voters I personally know at least. I'd say it's more often that they either don't have major complaints or are complacent. Yes, most everyone are cowards, but I'd not say it is really relevant in a discussion of regular voters' choices. No, I'd strive to introduce completely new values and the way of thinking, whic…

Realistically I won't be, unless I manage to find alternative streams of income. I'm not American, but Balkan and while thankfully we don't have student loans the lousy side of it is that our pays are peanuts when compared to yours.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:37 PM

What equation? There is only one side?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:31 PM

How about running over neither?? Or clarifying you'd take them to a vet later if a horrible accident happened
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:29 PM

Damn what is wrong with everyone
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:28 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:22 PM

Not really, both groups have both of the complexes. Oh they do, but this was a bit oversimplified as which complex they more often outwardly choose to represent themselves imo. No, being moderate means being a wuss who doesn't have any guts to stand by a controversial belief. Maybe before, but I'd say being moderate is a relatively controversial position currently because everyone is pushing to pick exclusively one side. I am not talking about any position, merely that both sides of the politica…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:20 PM

So basic maths, if you want to calculate a percentage of a percentage, multiply them together. So 0.674 * 0.438 = 0.295 = 29.5 %
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:10 PM

Good for you. Did retiring stop you from being able to calculate? Physics.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:05 PM

Victim complex vs superiority complex clash. Is being moderate a unique position? Or what position are you talking about, non-buddy?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:02 PM

Go back to elementary school and learn maths properly
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 07:58 PM

Agree to disagree then
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 07:57 PM

Let me help you with that basic maths: 67.4% out of 43.8% = 29.5%
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 07:45 PM

I mean that's a hater reviewed piece. If you are going to dislike it use your own words and thoughts, instead of someone else's
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 07:35 PM

Oh yeah they are good, she has a great voice too
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 07:11 PM

Bro do you not know how to count 67.4% of 43.8%? Yes, we are talking about violence exclusively committed by women, what's tripping you up?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 07:03 PM

In what way?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 06:49 PM

Ah sorry, I don't know why I've read it as turning on her music now 🤦🏻‍♀️. It could be because she is not saying anything for Palestine as I've seen some disgruntled about it, or more recently her white feminsim. That said, this isn't unusual as she has just as many haters as fans, so it's likely that the ones turning on her were never really fans.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 06:38 PM

That's 29.5% that experienced exclusively female violence, which is less than violence experienced by women in hetero relationships. Mind you, it's still not good. Women also need to be educated on the topic and encouraged to seek help for their anger issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 06:30 PM

I mean we like her music, what's there to explain 🤷🏻‍♀️

I completely agree with you, I'm very pro kink shaming, especially with risky plays that involve harm or violence of any sort. E.g. strangulation has become quite popular in recent times, almost mainstream, and it's worrying how society is permissive and dismissive of it. I do not understand why we cannot do anything in a sensible moderate way, but instead keep swinging between one extreme and another.

I wonder if they’re also running an experiment on how rude they can be to tourists because people in Berlin kept shooting death glares at me for some reason lol I've never been, but yikes they sound unpleasant. Kind of glad on a serious note that in my part of the world open relationships aren’t as normal One of the rare things I'm totally conservative about

He does and not in a good way. They made him look too polished in a girly way, but behave too rakeishly to balance it out; it just doesn't work. Penelope's actress is much better at acting, so the mismatch is also obvious there. lash extensions was a good idea Oh yeah, really intense smokey eyes and fake nails too lol the 2nd half is really only worth it for the lady whistle down part other wise its pretty predictable Thanks, good to know
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 11:23 PM

Oh I think so too, but she's going to stay for some time and regret it later, how it looks like rn.

I don't get the manicured Colin appeal. They pumped the actor full of filler and botox, but for some reason you're not supposed to say it online. I haven't finished the 2nd half, is it worth it?

I've been out with my German friend and damn what experiments are they running in Berlin. So guy has a girlfriend and he is her first boyfriend, but he convinced her to get into an open relationship. (He's also bisexual, but that's not important). That poor girl

I live in a coastal town too and seeing everyone screaming happy on the beach brings me joy. Also, visiting it myself. But I see that crap all the time just on my drive home from work on the evenings. I still fail to see how that's relevant? Go to the beach more in your free time so you'll like it better?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 08:54 PM
2

Beach is not the workplace, so not really equivalent
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 08:38 PM

So we are on our way to being Larries lol
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 08:22 PM

Nah matey, you guys just look at the statistical average of the whole country when that's equally as meaningless for young people. And I didn't say just average, I told you I'm speaking of average sttractiveness/appeal.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 07:54 PM
1

We ship people here??
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 07:51 PM
1

Please clarify?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 07:42 PM
2

I don't think they are monsters at all, but I don't deny the reality that a significant percentage of both genders settle for someone. If you read a bit on relationship subreddits there is regularly a really overweight woman posting about her partner trying to push her to diet and go to gym. She also noticed that they always have sex in the dark. Reverse scenario also happens a lot.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 07:42 PM
2

Nothing is wrong with that, but most people aren't. So many obese women will do without an adoring partner. The others who have a partner are more likely to have a guy that is reluctantly into her and that is more likely to snipe at her about her eating habits, so they won't have a happy healthy relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 07:27 PM
1

And how is that my issue, that's your internal problem to grapple with or not. Oh fine, face wise, I'd say these women are all around an average 5, but just a little too chunky https://preview.redd.it/ofrro0hp8l6d1.jpeg?width=1313&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=42098954058cda67b95bb107037b9c8b8e6fe555
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 07:23 PM
1

Men seem to be speaking about the statistical average for his Arkansas locale so a plushy man with a beer belly who works in plumbing and is 41. Oh yes I know, and then they conclude that if he is average then women must be unreasonably picky lol
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 07:14 PM
1

Do some internet sleuthing yourself, I'm sure you'll find plenty of examples
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 07:10 PM
2

In some cases it happens, but I've not seen guys simping for obese women if they aren't chubby chasers.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 07:09 PM
1

They are usually talking about an obese 5'8" guy who's earning a McDonalds yearly wage equivalent. But you are right that if we narrow it down to college educated and take age into account, say below 30, then statistically the gap between average person and average attractiveness is much smaller.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 07:07 PM
1

Yes, most fat people don't carry it well so they don't have mass appeal (pun intended)
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 07:04 PM
2

Maybe in getting casual sex where a guy is willing to treat them like a fleshlight for a night or a few. But they still struggle with relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 06:59 PM
4

So there are 2 way people often talk about attractiveness, one is about average attractiveness and the other is about an average man or woman. Women much more talk about the former and men the latter and then everyone just talks past each other. Average attractiveness means someone who is plain, not ugly, not pretty, but can be cute with effort and other nice features. So statistically an average man or a woman are often below average attractiveness.

it is mostly irrelevant to how average, most numerous Christians actually experience and practice their religion. If the dogma is irrelevant, what can tie them all together? What Christians are you even talking about here? The 2nd century ones,.or the 19th century ones? Maybe the ones of today? In which country as well? E.g. the famous strife between Catholics and Protestants in which language should the mass be told and Bible be written has never been a problem in my country. Glagolitic and loc…

Maybe because men don't have hormonal fluctuations during the month? Obviously shitty actions are still shitty regardless of those.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 09:09 PM

So you are just generalizing? There are always going to be shitty people defending some women as there are always going to be shitty people defending some men.

It's not unusual for men do the same thing that woman did, many of them date within months of their wife passing.

Sure, my bad for a part of it. The other part still stands, it's like 2 people, it just hits minimum requirement for them to be called people. You are just looking for outrage porn.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 08:46 PM

Did you stretch before making that leap bro? Only one woman and one men were defending it, and many of us holding the opposing side that it's fucked up. But sure, go off, women lol

I couldn't agree with you more. If someone is dating, casually or otherwise, within a year of the death of the spouse, they are showing they miss someone filling the position way more than they do the person. This is the hill I'm forever dying on.

It is known for its technology, but it's also known for its history and picturesque countryside. Its technology is more prominently displayed in big populated cities, but outside of them, the effects are much more muted.

I know they have more local trains that stop at every station. But even beside that, car rental is possible and road trips can be quite fun. Like how if I visited Colonial Williamsburg here in the US, I’m not going to bring lunch from McDonald’s. Fair enough, I see your point. But take trains in my country for example, you'd get there faster running. So I'd happily trade our slow rickety ones for Japanese fast and efficient ones any day of the week.

For me there is a distinction, if I said someone was ugly that would be unkind and disrespectful, but if I said someone doesn't know how to dress or needs a haircut due to split ends, that doesn't say anything about their looks or their character.

Anal is a dealbreaker for me too, unless the guy is volunteering. I do think somewhere between dates 3 and 10 is appropriate to bring up dealbreakers. The bigger the possible incompatibility the sooner it needs to come up.

none of are that much of a sensitive snowflake that we'd have a problem with it. This was your answer. If he was saying it anonymously, I'd have no issues. Which part do you precisely find disrespectful? None of it is about their person, it's about actions they can control.

But that's the point of my OP. Both this and men wanting a slutty virgin are two unrealistic fantasies. I just expanded on the topic of other unrealistic fantasies. It has been so long since I last touched Twilight, but is it really mentioned that he never had any sex for over a hundred years of his life? I don't recall any youtuber reviewer talking about this. Yes, it's a prominent theme for the first 3 books. Also that he keeps resisting her advances, because of both his vampire strength and h…

Fair, I stand corrected.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 12:48 PM
2

It's a wish fulfillment, not realistic. Yes, I'm well aware how those work. Wasn't he running away because he "didn't want to hurt her" due to his relentless desire for her and supernatural strength? He was afraid he'd "lose control", which is pure female fantasy; an outwardly kind and gentle man not being capable of controlling his "inner beast" when exposed to the object of his desires? You are right in this part of course. But as I've said, this had that added and very prominent virginity ang…

How am I broadcasting it on an anonymous forum on a thread that gets a new rendtition daily? Facts are not talking shit. Besides, I'm not being covert, I've said that to their face before. So they are both well aware and none of are that much of a sensitive snowflake that we'd have a problem with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 12:34 PM

Jacob was also a virgin, and while the werewolves were more dom coded so he has a flavour of that, he fits NiceGuy best friend much more.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 12:28 PM

I'm just saying there exist different female romantic fantasies. But yeah guys studiously avoided Twilight too much to be able to accurately talk about it
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 12:24 PM

Even they've never pushed me to go to Church, so I don't think so. Facts are not disrespectful buddy

Edward's main appeal was the he was a supernatural lover who became obsessed with a bland self-insert MC. No one is disputing that. That's just how romance novels for women are. There are no mentions of whether he was a virgin or not, plus, he was over a hundred years old. Ain't no woman getting hot and bothered for a man who couldn't get laid for over a hundred years. I can see none of you have read the books. Dude was a super repressed virgin for the first 3 books. Bella kept pursuing him to h…

Haha my dad is skinny and a sucky dresser, so I'd not go that far. Also, we all hate her cooking, that's only something you wish on your worst enemies lol
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 12:08 PM
1

Edward is a kind gentleman, but he is no dirty dom. He is a repressed virgin with stalker tendencies that doesn't want to fuck Bella before marriage. He is intense, but that doesn't make him a dirty dom
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 12:06 PM
1

Of course it's a fantasy, but so many women went crazy over a virgin man (who was admittedly special). So if we are generalizing I'd say women like passionate, not dirty doms
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 12:01 PM
2

I'd say the friend and general women network that help out and organize among themselves is a big plus

How do you explain the Twilight popularity then? The second one doesn't fit

My mum on dad's shorts: she would say they look gay, but she wouldn't want to diss the gays lol
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 11:51 AM

It didn't really hurt, it was more gruesome looking which my poor bro was hysterical about. 'Twasn't all bad, I was totally chatting up the young doctor sewing me back up lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 11:54 PM

Hahah amazingly done. People totally forget what idiots preteens are. I supermanned through a glass window because my brother was winding me up at 11 and narrowly avoided cutting up the veins in my wrist lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 11:36 PM

No, but I broke a foot and an elbow almost one after the other in high school, so my teachers were all rolling their eyes at me at the time
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 11:21 PM
1

I agree that people automatically assume that hot people have sparkling personalities. But if you're average in looks you cannot have a dry personality or you are basically heavily reducing your quality and pool of options.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 11:10 PM
1

What kind of halo, looks?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 10:28 PM
1

That's a very high bar to just have It's no skin of my nose if men won't, but this is the way you have more and better options. The effort to max out all other categories is like 100x the effort for women to be healthy Nah it's not that hard. I'm an introvert, but I dress well and socialize more than fine when required. Thus, men can do it too
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 10:28 PM
1

For what reason?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 10:19 PM
1

The one about guys needing to stand out more? If one is average and has done all available softmaxxing one can, I also think personality and charisma is what cinches it in.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 10:15 PM
2

Who, what are you talking about?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 10:00 PM
2

The "problem" is a lot of average guys are average in all stats. You can't be average height, average face, average to below average rizz, mid male dresser, and the list goes on. If you are of an average height and face you have to max out the other categories if you want to have some solid options. A social butterfly funny well dressed average guy is above an average wallflower.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 09:58 PM
1

I agree with you it's ham-fisted in movies that have a completely different primary plot. That is something I also find unnecessary, either write a good romantic story or leave it out, not everything needs it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 09:42 PM
1

Like there is not a ton of male gaze rom-coms movies, basically every single one ever made by Woody Allen (a beautiful young woman is totally smitten with that middle aged dude that can pass as her father) or pairing a pot obsessed Seth Rogen and high strung Katherine Heigl.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 09:37 PM
2

In this I stand with the guys. After teenage years it's very easy to see which guy actually likes you. And I think we have a moral duty to not take advantage of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 09:26 PM
1

Awesome, it's always nice to hear of such happy meet ups
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 09:20 PM
1

Never silly Oh we all have our silly sides. You would think my very existence, plus examples I drop once in a while would be enough, but these guys have surprised me with their stubbornness. Hahah we are all nothing if not a stubborn bunch and no one is giving an inch.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 09:18 PM
1

Look I'm not saying glasses are going to turn a frog into a prince, but if a guy looks attractive to me, glasses don't just not detract, they increase his attractiveness
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 09:00 PM
1

If he had a nicer haircut, better glasses and a lip lift, that dude would look actually good
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 08:53 PM
1

lol You really aren't, don't be silly. Thats my purpose here, to educate these guys. Uff my lady luck be with you as that's a modern work of Sisyphus.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 08:51 PM
1

I prefer men in glasses, if a guy I like told me he wanted lasik I'd be devestated lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 08:43 PM
1

You are not ugly bro, but yes this is true for both genders. I don't know why men disproportionally don't get it
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 08:32 PM
2

No, face mogs height for average height and above. It's only reversed when men start entering women heights; and even then a pretty face can be your silver lining
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 08:30 PM
3

Only if he is doing nothing to help himself over a prolonged period of time, even after prompting. That kind of neglecting behaviour is rarely going to be contained to only one area of his life and relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 08:26 PM

Where is the facial attractiveness? Face is literally first
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 08:21 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 08:19 PM

I am told I have a presence when I walk and speak publically. That is intriguing. An orator of old. What knight worthy of his honor would refuse to bury his face in the petals of a fair maiden's rose? If indeed those exist, how terribly good that you are not the type. I'm most pleased that such persuasive tongue and lips are commited to bringing pleasure to fair maidens
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 09:01 PM
1

Oh, I have many sides to me. You'd be surprised. Any of them dazzling? The knight would be most glad to pay any necessary lip-service as a compensation 😉. Such an honorable and obliging knight, how could I refuse to avail myself of his full services
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 08:46 PM
1

(I'll be honest, I'm scribbling and deleting various responses at the moment. Never made it this far in flirting and I'm in a completely unknown territory, so here goes my lame attempt:) Aww who knew there is a hidden sweet side to you. I hope you don't mind your knight having a bit of a beard and monarchic disposition. I'm sure I shall be magnanimous in my judgement and for the rest the knight in question can be brought to kneel for any infractions 😉

That Četnik rizz, LOL! Oh yeah and you've been rizzing all over the place, haven't you 😂 Just give me your address and I will send you a mirror, so you two can talk it out. Someone's being a smooth criminal tonight. But who's to say I won't just turn out to be Narcissus and foil your cunning plan hmm
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 07:34 PM

Lolol what have you done, frenemy? No need for Ustaše to besmirch your reputation, the Četniks can always be counted upon to do it all on their own 😉
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 07:26 PM
1

Hahah God help us both I do sometimes, but you also throw me for complete loops, as evidenced. Must be the Četnik in you. Wait Casanova, I thought I was to meet your girlfriend. The mixed messages of you 😋
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 07:19 PM

How very good of me that I do, because if I were mere nobility my head may have found itself on a chopping block. This way it's a much more pleasant business of allience making.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 07:08 PM
1

I appreciate your kindness, thank you. because I didn't really see any logic. The logic doesn't have to have many steps to it, you know. As I said, it's just surface level dumb joke that landed poorly. My words are not supposed to be read seriously here, unless I'm talking on a serious topic. But the tone on the interent is hard to convey which I do something forget. I think it's my bad because I sort of recognized a fair bit myself in you and then I keep fucking up as I expect you to read it as…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 07:02 PM
2

It was not meant to be a deep joke, just a surface level one, based on your username and the word you used. But I obviously misjudged, and I know you said you're not offended, but I have clearly been annoying you repeatedly when that wasn't my intention. I don't wish to be that and I clearly suck at judging where the limit is with you, so I think maybe I should step away gracefully. I'm sorry buddy
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 06:33 PM

Hahah you're right, my deepest apologies Your Majesty
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 06:15 PM

Same, same. Usually in 2 years cycles for me. After a certain length it becomes way too hot on the neck and it really needs to be contained
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 06:14 PM

So that's my official diagnoses then? Lol I'm just messing around and everyone keeps taking me literally. It's just my sense of humor
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 06:12 PM

It does yes thankfully, plus I mostly mostly keep it in ponytail, braids or buns
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 06:07 PM
1

Wut? Slayyy bruh, I mostly hear that from weird white women and gay dudes online. Therefore, maybe there's a boyfriend in your future. What exactly did you want to say? I honestly don't understand 😅. You introduced the qualifier good, I told you I'm not it 😭 So I won't get to meet your boyfriend and girlfriend unless you amend it to smth else
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 06:05 PM
1

Lol the way you're talking it's gonna be a him before. I have been told that I don't know know how to be good before, so that may pose a bit of a problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 05:58 PM

Sounds chic Oh that it does. My problem is that I have excess volume, so I need it dragged down. But that also sucks for obvious reasons
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 05:50 PM

I didn't know you were a king YuYu?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 05:40 PM

Mate, I've been in forests with bears and I actually saw how quick they are. None of us would be able to outrun or outclimb them. I don't know why you are imaging this like you are facing down the bear with best targeted weaponry humanity has at its disposal, when it was always presented as a casual hiking trip with a bear at close range (in which case a single person has a much higher chance of being toast).
