I'm kinda reminded of Nazi chat logs where they argued about their Meyers Briggs result and the amazing line he's too much of a cuck to be an ENTJ was said [Here](https:/discordleaks.unicornriot.ninja/discord/view/597703?q=redpilled#msg) is the beginning of that conversation and OP will love it because they go into their horoscopes as well

Heh. I love the bit in the beginning of the New York Post article. Dating out of your bubble is always difficult. I couldn't get a date in my three years in the military for the same reason. It's not a Man Shortage. It's a Man In My Vicinity shortage. The articles themselves admit it - People aren't leaving their surroundings, they're not dating outside of their preconceived norms. My theory is that people find themselves in their little bubbles, talk only to their bubbles online, and stop being…

I have a hard time with people who are overly vocal about their political opinions. A woman who needs to make it clear that she is a feminist on the first date has to be pretty great otherwise. It doesn't matter which way, tbh. I don't take myself seriously enough to think my views on any subject are the be all and end all of it. I just have a hard time with people who are absolutely convinced in the rightness of their words and proselityze.

I feel like responding since I actually was in a Navy. That actually is how actual captains and first mates go. The first mate's job is to do the captain's orders because the captain messes around with a thousand things and can't tell the crew exactly everything he wants. A captain will listen to his first mate's advice but it's the captain's word that matters, all the time.

Wait, do you not believe in global warming? I'd say there's a difference between that and virtue signalling. Like, in a recent thread people got upset at me for saying that until I saw TDK Heath Ledger was "that gay cowboy" to me, as if it's absurd to list as the role I knew him from the one where he played a gay cowboy, or like I should have said "The cowboy whose sexuality is irrelevant to my percecption of him as an actor". That's virtue signalling. But agreeing with the vast majority of the …

She started a series of videos about feminism in gaming. They were kind of shitty - Other people covered the topic with much more intelligence, though not in a dedicated way (Penny Arcade guys have been talking about this for years, along with their annoyance with the industry, jokes about child abuse, and everything else they talk about). There was a minor scandal with how she fucked over kickstarter supporters, which was then immediately overshadowed by GG reee-ing about her and generally bein…

I actually spent some time thinking about 80/20. You're a guy who will make one approach a night. You're going to go for the best option - the top one percent. A guy who makes two approaches a night will also choose the best options he could. So on and so forth. Incels may make one or two approaches. But they will be approaching women who have had a rain of sausages fall on them. In the meantime, women who are towards the middle of the curve or lower than that will be getting attention only from…

Most people on this sub - Sex has different values for each person. I personally do attach a lot of emotional baggage to sex so I'd dislike a one night stand but I wouldn't shame someone who does like them, but it would be a mark in the "why not to date this person", just like when I was an older virgin some women didn't like that. I fucking love Kevin Bacon. The man is a treasure. The cast of Super is ridiculously talented and I include Nathan Fillion in pure ham mode. It also includes a woman raping a man. It's a weird movie. Also, I was amazed that Gunn went from the "seriously, fuck superheroes" film to the MCU. And also, his brother plays a mook in it (like he does in Guardians of the Galaxy). I'm not sure if I like Super but literally every part of it is gold. As an experience it's a weird one.

That was never discussed. You asked me if I was using the Oxford Dictionary definition of incel and I said I wasn't. I looked it up to confirm that it was different from mine and found that it didn't exist. I define incel as someone who is part of the incel community, as any other definition has goalposts that are consistently moved. Without fail, incels show a toxic self defeating attitude and try to put down not only themselves, but others.

What's BP principles? I see TRPers say this constantly when there is literally no unifying BP principle, and in fact, most BPers will agree about most things that TRPers agree on. The debate about how bad TRP is comes from its cultish nature (as this thread addresses) and the misogyny (which is debated to death in every other thread on this subreddit). A lot of TRP advice is just really bad - Trying to constantly pass shit tests and comfort tests will lead to a very bad place in the relationship…

Off the top of my head, I can name a few geniuses whose peak was way after their prime reproductive years. Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, and George R R Martin all created their best works at later ages - NG today and Terry Pratchett in his last five years of life are both at their peak productivity, and Martin has pretty much been resting on his laurels because of the work he wrote at 50. This has gotten a ton of mileage in every single sub relating to gender issues. I'm actually glad it's opened a discussion because a lot of men aren't aware of the degree that female BC can have side effects. Learning on the internet is OK but not great. Due to the nature of the internet any advice is going to be very generic. EDIT - This is a misconception RPers seem to have a hard time with. Those are all websites for social misfits. I can't imagine someone looking up How To Treat A Woman on wikihow being socially competent. Might as well watch the Britanick video. His impeachment was never about prudishness though. It was about dishonesty. At the time, Americans were polled - They didn't care about the affair, they cared about being lied to. You're not a man - real world locker room talk, or just between the guys soldier talk, is crass. But it's not like the shit in TRP. It's like how people say that Donald is the guy saying what everyone's thinking - He's saying what you're thinking and you're a racist.

It didn't work out great in Israel. Ya'ir Lapid started the Yesh Atid (There is a Future) party in Israel. He was an actor and a journalist whose political party was entirely non politicians, running on a campaign of "Politics are broken". He swept the election, and was in a great position to oust Binyamin Netanyahu, and then he couldn't beat career politicians at their game. Netanyahu and Liberman tripped him up and made him look like the world's biggest idiot. He got very little accomplished a…

The post is written about men but I fully mean that it applies to women as well. Some abusive men are easy to spot, some aren't. We were all raised on the idea of "some behaviors you only do in front of family". The sort of abuser who isn't easy to spot will only do those things outside of the public eye. Of course the guy who has a shit fit in public probably has them in the house. But the guy who retaliates after having a bad day by taking it out on his loved ones is a different matter. It doe…

So regarding "Not as quickly as TRP"... I don't see TRP as new. I see TRP as the same bullshit priests used to spout when they said "The woman is a snake". All the talk about "biotruths" is stuff I learned in history. Comparatively, feminism is the fast growing new thing. Regarding those threads, I don't have much to say. It is incredibly hard to discuss a subject that a lot of people have a lot of contrary and heated opinions about. Discussing men's issues leads to a lot of "whatabout"ism, and …

That last one is the hardest obstacle to overcome. Because a rejection is personal. And not taking it personally is a tough skill to develop. This is possibly the biggest way TRP actually can help a guy get laid - if you don't care, truly don't care about the opinions of the women you hit on, it's much easier to just ignore it and try again. Dating is a numbers game.

So I'm saying I disagree with the way things are because they're unjust. Because the men I've seen doing care work have roughly the same ratios as women as far as being good at it, with the one exception who is now a Jihadist. Because as a society we are limiting ourselves by defining "masculine" and "feminine" as certain things, and it's stupid and detrimental to all of us. To be completely and utterly honest with no modesty at all, I was a damn good caregiver. The only one I've met who was bet…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/16 06:10 PM

I have literally explained in three different posts why it matters. Because when you limit a gender from doing something, you have less people doing that something, so you have less people good at that something. And using generalizations with no proof behind them is bad, but even worse, it's stupid.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/16 05:20 PM
4

Because I have yet to see proof that men are worse care givers than women, or that women are less honorable than men. Society as a limiter only makes sense when there's a good reason for it to.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/16 05:07 PM
3

The problem is that when you define something as more masculine or more feminine, you're limiting the other gender. The most blatant case I have of this is that care work is seen as a mostly feminine line of work. In Israel, guidelines make it much harder for men to be primarily care workers as a result of cultural perception. Part of the reason I quit my job working with people with special needs is that I realized I would have to get specific external training to make any sort of professional …

This is a really good question, one that was asked in /r/MensLib as well. This is a difficult question to answer because saying something is a positive masculine trait implies it's not in women. Same as looking for positive feminine traits, really. So I wouldn't really say any. I used to think that, but it doesn't work a lot of the time. Last time I tried that, my feelings for the new girl were just my feelings for the old one redirected. And when that one ended, I went back to being brokenhearted over the old girl. So from my experience (which is probably less than yours) the healthiest relationship will start from a relatively blank slate.

The thing is that by acting like TRP recommends pushes away the ones who would listen to you being vulnerable. The secret is to become comfortable being vulnerable. To be able to get hurt. That's what Manson doesn't talk about in his article, which is a shame. It's being able to open yourself up and get hurt. I suspect he doesn't talk about it because there is no good answer.

It won't likely lead to abuse. It may, I admit. Closing yourself up emotionally is the #1 undisputed best way to avoid getting hurt. But it will prevent you from finding the opportunity for something better. Here is a piece by Mark Manson about this exact thing. Wow, leave it to TBP to completely miss the point. The point of the analogy is that if some bluepillers are indifferent to incel, but a very significant portion hates them, TBP as a whole is a group that hates incels. TBP as a whole is a group that dislikes incels. I happen to also dislike incels. Involving Nazis into it makes your argument bad. Especially when you are talking to a Jew. A lot of TBPers don't like incels. So the group as a whole generally does have a dislike for them (which is wh…

Incel = Involuntarily Celibate. You don't want to be celibate? Work at it. Or stop complaining. Forget about every other societal rule, this is the only one that matters. Shit or get off the pot. Accept celibacy, stop complaining about it, and don't say it's involuntary, or work at it. Then we can work on rule #2, which, to quote Bill S Preston, goes "Be excellent to each other" EDIT I appear to be in a media mood today. QUOTES FOR EVERYONE!

Who are the Jews? Incels? In which case, I guess I'd be Solomon Perl, if we're going to use your metaphor. Or the inverse of him. If the Nazi Party had accepted former Jews and not killed them. I think. It's an odd one. I mean, the Nazis didn't persecute Jews just by their beliefs. There was a genetic component to it for them. I could be offended seeing as my grandparents are Holocaust survivors, but I'm just mildly amused by this Godwin. Yes, if TBP were literal Nazis then I'd be a Nazi. And in…

Take an honest look at /r/incels. Where the fuck is any actual meaningful attempt at getting out of it? I fucking hate TRP but at the very least they say "Here's how to get out of your situation". I find their read of the situation idiotic and their methods immoral, but at the very least I can respect them for doing something. A lot of us don't. I, however, was in the position of being a 23 year old virgin who was not happy with it. What I did was talk to women and put myself out there and get rejected and cope with the hard feelings of rejection until finally I stopped striking out. When I see incels post and get encouraged, I want to slap them in the face and tell them to stop pitying themselves. Since I am online in a different part of the world, I confine myself to being snarky.

I guess the issue is in disagreement over what constitutes an attractive quality. The big issue with vidya journalism, in my opinion, is that AAA games are often treated well by journalists because publishers own their asses. "Not discriminating against men is a difficult barrier against women." Also, name a field like that and not a hypothetical. I'm not going to waste my time pointing out where less qualified women are hired over more qualified men because it's the norm now. Software. Game design - the harrassment that female game developers have gone through is horrible. The military. Being a mechanic - with my own eyes, I've seen that one go bad. Pretty much every STEM oriented workplace I've seen has had that.

Regarding the AWALT - I pretty much gave up on an argument with a guy on another thread who was making the case that AWALT does mean that ALL women are like that. The rest are strawmans of BP beliefs. Negging is just kind of stupid. Shit tests are manipulative behavior and not as common as terpers think. Women can love me the way I want to be loved, I have no idea how you want to be loved. And both men and women can be immature because humans can be immature. I work with a woman who I believe ha…

You were saying that redpill draws wisdom from many sources, among them the Bible. I'm saying that the Bible's wisdom is schitzophrenic at times and that a lot of it - including a part you mentioned specifically - goes directly counter to TRP. The best example of hypergamy in literature may well be Abraham jumping between Sara and Hagar according to which one will give him more children. I am having Bible class flashbacks because of this conversation. This may be the weirdest one I've had ever. …

I also read Eshet Khayil just now. In the original Hebrew. It's in praise of a hard working, dedicated, kind woman, one who doesn't have the lie of beauty. It kind of seems anti RP. EDIT - there seems to be controversy about the text because in some versions she's god fearing and in others she is wise and there's some debate among scholars as to which one is accurate. The article itself says that not all women will behave completely according to AWALT. Furthermore, assuming only women are irrational and immature is only possible to those who don't know men. TRP observes some sociopathic behaviors which are true for some people. Most things in AWALT don't apply to my girlfriend or to myself. They do heavily apply to a guy she works with, and an ex of mine. TRP is demonstrably false when it's used as an "only one gender is like this" science. When it's used as "some people in both genders are like this" it's meaningless.

Yup. I'm a crier. It happens a lot to me, no matter how much I try. Things get hard the waterworks go on. It's irritating as hell and it gave me a ton of trouble in many different places. Me and my gf had a fight and, crying, I told her I don't want to end it. It ended in a way that I was grinning for two days straight. As a general rule, the days after I open up to her about something bothering me are the best in the relationship. My question - are you truly happy in relationships where you hav…

The problem is that none of us have a universal solution. I have the one that worked for me. Others have the ones that worked for them. I've seen people say "the most important thing not to do in a relationship is X" where X is something that saved my relationship. And I am sure that it would be wrong for them but because of who I am it's right for me. TRP works on a specific subset of women which are the ones TRP complains about. Yeah, not all straight men. But I suspect I'll be an outlier because I don't mind cuddling with a man. I would mind cuddling with a woman because that is some bizarre signalling and unless I am completely sure of the "friend" status I would probably feel weird about it. This may be a military thing - men in the military will sleep in the same bed and generally show that sort of affection much more. Unfortunately I haven't read Lolita, only absorbed it through popcultural osmosis. So I couldn't tell you very well. But my impression is that Lolita is kind of a disturbing book, where Harold and Maude is actually a very sweet film. Or at least, that's the impression me and the people I know get. Maybe we see it like those who think that Humbert Humbert and the girl (whose name isn't Lolita but I don't remember the actual name) are a cute couple and we're the disturbed ones.

I don't disagree with you at all. I want to make this clear before I say anything - you are a hundred percent right. I would like to ask about something - the film Harold and Maude. For anyone wondering about it, it's an absolutely incredible somewhat dark comedy about the relationship between a teenaged boy and an old woman. I dunno. I read one other book by the author (Dark Places) and that one was also about toxic femininity (is that a word?). This is great, I would add something that redpill actually also preaches - Be OK with being rejected and move on. This is hard. But Tesla's inventions went unnoticed by the world. Just as I said, maybe if he had someone looking out for him, by his side, he could have gotten them out. My Martin edit was mildly facetious. It all varies person to person, and the only way to get what you need to do for each person is by developing an instinct. That can only be done by practice. A few weeks back there was an askreddit thread about things you shouldn't do when approaching a …

But social skills aren't something you just pluck out of air if you don't have them. And nothing, and I include Red Pill in that, has an answer beyond practicing. Like any skill in life, social skills require work. There is no alternative to doing the work. There are tiny tricks to every small social interaction, most of which I don't know. Pretend you heard a joke right before answering the phone. Whenever you meet someone's eyes for the first time that day, smile. Memorize good jokes and learn…

I have no great method. Learn to socialize. I was very fortunate that my country has mandatory military service and so a nerdy guy from a well to do family had to learn to live life as a warrior with a group from all walks of life. This lead to more confidence in social situations as well as helping me gain the confidence to stand up for myself. But essentially forcing yourself to deal with social discomfort will lead to better social skills which lead to more success with the opposite sex. Red …

Life is too complicated for a fool proof method.

Selfishness is a survival trait in some places. Selflessness is one in others. Read Maus for a story where a man's selflessness saved his life. Selfishness in a relationship, when pushed beyond rationality (like nearly every LTR FR does) is toxic.

RP says All Women Are Like That. I don't need more than a few.

I'm saying moderate. Be reasonable. Use some measure of common sense. Life is too complicated for an online plan.

Yes? I mean, I haven't researched the subject. If I do and she is a female supremacist then yes I have issues with what she says.

I fight a lot of those myself. But I don't go the other way and say "Women are animals". My problem is more with a lot of men, to be honest. Because the people who say "With how you're dressed of course men react like that" are a big part of the issue, and most of those are men.

It's the prevailing view where? What you're saying, in part, is things I agree with. My girlfriend's ex before me was an emotional mess, and she couldn't deal with constantly being unloaded upon. Life is a balancing act - I don't say unload your every feeling on your SO. I have my hobbies, she has hers. There is very little overlap between our practical lives - we have to make time for each other.

Can you link to a post there where someone says that women are wonderful? It's a long and well written opinion that I completely skimmed through, but combing through 200 replies isn't my thing right now.

What is the Blue Pill approach but an RP bogeyman then? If you disagree that Blue Pill should be represented by people on /r/thebluepill, then where is it represented? I'll disagree with anyone who says that women are all wonderful unicorns, because that person has never met a woman. Nobody's a wonderful unicorn. It's also not a comfort test. People need comfort sometimes, not as a test, but as an actual thing. If I'm having a bad day and my girlfriend sits with me and talks to me and hugs me, I…

Nope. I act in my self interest all the time. I just also keep in mind that I am in a relationship with a human being who deserves respect. I can call her on her shit, and I have, multiple times. Just as she can call me on mine, and she has, multiple times. But red pill says explicitly, "don't give." If she comes to you in distress, Dread game it. She's being a child. And I find that offensive as hell. Because one of the bedrocks of my relationship as that we're each other's support. When she is…

What? I'm trying to understand that... Nope. Not computing. Did I mention feminism? My take on feminism is gender equality. Those who use feminism to mean gender superiority are also bad. Is that what you want to hear? I mean, I don't think many people will disagree with you. If you say on Blue Pill that men and women are equal then people will agree with you. Crazies will say that women are better. Redpillers say women are animals who are slaves to their desires, and who must be tamed by men. B…

Thank you for putting it exactly. TRP is the only one I've found that is blatantly selfish. I think the big difference between "BP thinking" and "RP thinking" is the thought "What does the other person want? How can I accommodate my desires with those of someone else?" The ideal BP relationship is one where those are alike. The ideal RP relationship doesn't give a fuck about the other person, or wants them to agree exactly. Which is a nice ideal if you're an asshole, but doesn't work in real lif…

parahumans.wordpress.com. A teenage girl gains the ability to control bugs and shit ensues. It's essentially one Oh Shit moment followed by another for the length of the entire Song of Ice and Fire series.
