I’m a huge aviation nerd and ALWAYS wanted to be a pilot (either military or civilian) as a career. That didn’t pan out, so be it, I have a good career now in my late 40s anyway. But as I got older, I began thinking, how the HELL would I have kept a marriage and family together with that job? If your entire reason for getting up every morning is to be AWAY FROM HOME. Infidelity and divorce must run rampant in the profession.

Not to shit on your point, because it is nice to see it spelled out statistically, but anybody who's worked in customer service with the general public knows without a doubt that women complain way more than men, and it's not even close.

Who needs an "acceptable reason" to not marry? Just don't do it, and if people don't like it, fuck 'em.

Who's the bitch-ass writer that accommodated that "non-binary" bullshit? What a tool bag.

It's also another example of asinine female "logic". I'm sure the same woman would tell anyone who asks that she "isn't into games" 🙄

I can't believe Trevor isn't getting killed for this..he's part of the SJW/Feminist entertainment media, and these are pretty red pill-ey statements.

Bought a nice bicycle today that cost more than my first car. And I already HAD a bike. But I wanted a more comfortable hybrid bike for leisurely rides so I can save my mountain bike for trails. So I'll be enjoying a ride on Black Friday -- not out battling crowds in the shopping centers like all the other idiots.

In fairness, it's a good way to judge the character of anyone, man or woman...though I suspect that, by this measure, women come out looking slightly worse than men.

I've never understood how you get "bored" with a relationship. I can see getting bored with a job, or bored with life in general. Maybe bored with the sex in the relationship, But a relationship isn't supposed to be about being entertained and stimulated all the time. Then again, I'm speaking as a man, with the attendant slavish devotion to reason, facts, and logic.

The problem is that women think the wedding is more (or as) important than marriage. Most guys I know, even the fools who are happy to be getting married, don't give a shit about the actual wedding. This would go away if women would stop treating weddings like the damn Super Bowl/World Cup combined. But it won't because there's too much money to be made fulfilling women's idiot "fairy tale princess" fantasies. It's so childish.

I guess I'm just going to have to play the old man card here...but who the fuck watches people play video games, free or otherwise? I don't play video games anymore, but I at least get the appeal of that, but watching other people do it? No wonder every other kid is a soft tub of goo nowadays.

Good luck, young brother, but at your age, unless you have a big trust fund or stand to get a big inheritance someday, I wouldn't dismiss the value of formal education...which can be applied to the things you want to do...you don't have to be stuck studying women's studies or Peruvian basket weaving. If nothing else, it gives you some structure, which is important when you're young. Best of luck!

The beauty of this is that MGTOW is not a group, and doesn't need anyone's support. It's just a way of living your life, and there's not a damn thing anybody can do about it.

Looks like some kind of GM crate motor -- it's not an original GTO 389 or 400, based on the modern intake plenum. It could be a foam mock-up used to see how everything fits before installing the actual engine. That would explain how the guy is holding it.

Agree. They certainly can't comprehend the (non-monetary) value of a car. To them it is simply a statement about money, there is no intrinsic value.

"aspiring" meaning she only hopes to be a feminist scholar and activist someday, but not there yet. Jesus, what qualifications could you possibly need to be an "actual" feminist scholar and activist.

This. It would strictly be about selling men's clothing to fat/stocky guys. There would be no sexualizing of them, and no "empowerment" or "validation" of other big guys. Unlike most women, most fat guys are not lunatics, and at least understand that they're overweight mostly because of their own decisions (to either eat poorly and/or not get enough exercise) ....not because they're "victims".
/r/MGTOW27/10/17 03:04 PM

Jesus, what a buffoon. Just because a word happens by chance to have the letters "m", "e", and "n" in it, in that order, doesn't mean it has anything to do with gender. It's too bad stupidity isn't painful.

When I visit my mother (who in her defense, begrudgingly supports my decision) she tells me that she doesn't understand what the point of life is BESIDES getting married and starting a family. But even though she'd never admit it, I think she sort of understands my position when I tell her I wouldn't want to bring children into the sick twisted world of 2017. And she also freely admits that, in her opinion, most younger women nowadays are superficial and trashy, and don't seem like wife material…
/r/MGTOW27/10/17 04:05 AM

Even more sad....6 (actually 7) kids who probably won't stand a chance of succeeding in life because of their mother's horrific life decisions. I hope I'm wrong.

I had a '01 Ranger 4x4 with a 5-speed and the 3.0 Vulcan. Loved that little truck. Slow as molasses, but it would last around, oh, 600,000 miles or so with routine maintenance! Should have never sold it. A woman wouldn't be impressed with that, though...not flashy enough & too reliable.
/r/MGTOW27/10/17 12:55 AM

As a 44-year old who (thankfully) never married and never had kids, I would say this: Whenever you are about to make a big life decision that involves a woman, jack off first...then see if what you are about to do seems like a good idea.

Don't think it's a hate group, per se, but it's adherents spout out a lot of hatred. Toward men. And they typically make sure to focus on straight, white men so as to not alienate other contestants in the Victimhood Sweepstakes. Also, I know many women who think of themselves as feminists, but DO NOT agree with much/most of what radical feminists claim to believe.
/r/MGTOW25/10/17 11:11 PM

/r/MGTOW24/10/17 07:55 PM

Yes, but before feminism came along trying to upend the way civilization had worked for centuries, I don't think as many men regretted getting married.

Once you fully accept what women are about, and come to terms with it, you get beyond rage. I have. I don't like what they do to my fellow men, but at some point it's incumbent upon the men to see what is clearly laid out in front of them, despite what society tells them. We can't criticize women for ignoring logic and reason to satisfy their emotions and feelings if we ourselves do the same thing.

Women and Alcohol. One usually leads to the other, which then leads back to the other, and so on. A vicious cycle.

Basically, "Take this class to learn how you're a victim if you're not a straight white male....even if you don't think you're a victim." Pure garbage. It would be fun to take that class to disrupt it and show what pure horseshit it is.

Sorry, but if an untrained 5'6" 145-pound dude can whip your ass in a fight, you're not a badass. Having a shitty attitude and a big mouth doesn't make you a badass, either.

I see both sides. On one hand, the name calling, "slut", "whore" etc. gives credence ( in the eyes of many) to the argument that MGTOWs are misogynistic, that they hate women, etc...and for some, it may very well be true. I don't think it is for most, though. Personally, I don't hate women, I just see them for what they are and have no desire to engage with them romantically (despite my physical urges) and I understand how asinine and dangerous modern feminism has become. But I don't feel a need…

I've got no issue with gay men. I don't care to be around the flamboyant ones that act like women -- and I don't apologize for that-- but the simple fact of a man being gay-I really couldn't care less. If I'm working with a guy, or watching a ballgame with him, what does it matter to me who he sleeps with? As long as he acts like a man, it's somebody I can deal with. I would guess some MGTOW men sort of wish they were gay. A partner who contributes equally to the household, can help with physica…

My "family line" is not so important that it needs to be prolonged. Nobody's is. It seems rather narcissistic to me to think that it does. There really are no family lines anyway, any "family line" will get so diluted from intermarriage within a few generations anyway.

I'm 44, and have no regrets about not having children. Never wanted them. Still don't. I understand your point, but I don't think most guys just wake up one day at age 46 and decide they want kids. For most guys, that's something that will have simmered for years and they would have had time to do something about it.

Sadly, without looking at the numbers, anecdotal evidence tells me that in the USA, we have the highest birth rates among the least educated/responsible people. Despite my MGTOW leanings, it's a fact that the people who SHOULD be having more kids (intelligent, educated, civic-minded) are having the LEAST children. I could be way off base, but I fear I'm not.

Great positive post, brother. I like Triumph bikes too. Don't ride, but I like anything with tires and an engine, and always like seeing something around town besides the same old reliable Japanese crotch rocket, or the 67 millionth Harley. My father had a Tiger when I was young.

GREAT analogy, brother. Almost two years sober here (from booze), and a few more than that from women. Not looking back on either. Getting mixed up with one will invariably lead to getting mixed up with the other, too.
/r/MGTOW14/10/17 06:45 PM

Not only that, but while men judge women for what they can get out of them, at least we're honest about that. We're all taught that women's evaluation of men is so noble and right-minded. Bullshit: "What does he look like" and "How much money/power/influence does he have?" are pretty much the extent of it.

When I was a kid , I remember my Dad would get home from work, make a nonchalant comment about his day, then my Mom would start in with a 40-minute tirade about her work day and how none of her coworkers were competent and how she does most of the work, and blah...blah...blah...until my Dad looked like he was ready to shoot himself.

It stands to reason that WGTOW would be much rarer than MGTOW. To be blunt, men really only need/want women around for sex. Women need men for sex AND because only a man who wants sex will put up with their drama and bullshit for any length of time. Men generally get along with other men, whereas most woman hate each other.

Without reading the article, I can only imagine that it presents this as a terrible thing. Maybe people (at least men) are waking up. The idea that people still base their whole lives and all their happiness on another person is pathetically naive and foolhardy. And sorry, but if you put somebody else, especially someone that you don't know very well, in a position where they can completely destroy your life, you'll eventually reap what you sow.

I don't think ALL women do, but MANY do. I love my mother, but my God, did that woman thrive on drama and conflict. She's mellowed out now, but I think it's mostly because she lives alone. Sorry, fellas, I KNOW I'm in the minority here, but I actually would prefer the "after" pic (if she were just a few pounds lighter,) because she at least looks curvy & feminine....compared to the before pic, where she has the body of a skinny 14 year-old boy with tits.

Look at the classified ads for cool used/project cars. How many of them say "Wife says I have to get rid of it" , "Getting Married, Must Sell" , or the perennially tragic: "Selling to Pay For Wedding" For most guys, having a wife and having cool mechanical shit to fart around with are mutually exclusive.

All the good men are hiding in plain sight. Women don't see them because they are not rappelling down an office building or mountain biking off of a freeway off-ramp as if life were a Mountain Dew commercial. If it was really illegal, then in this hypothetical scenario, society will have been irredeemably broken. In which case, it would be time for rational people, men AND women, to arm themselves and fight to take down the system, rather than abide by it for convenience' sake.

Because to people like this buffoon, EVERYTHING is about gender, race, and capitalism. They step in a puddle, it's because of the Patriarchy. Flat tire on the way to work, because of old white males. Every aspect of their existence must be viewed through a narrow prism of self-cultivated victimhood. Why media outlets seem determined to publish all of her absurd ranting is beyond me.

I don't give them much thought, other than hoping it was a planned pregnancy with two parents who are capable of raising a child who doesn't grow up to be a psychopath, a spoiled, entitled monster, or a ward of the state. Beyond that, I suppose I think that I'm glad it's not my responsibility.

Also, for a lot of women, their whole lives revolve around their relationship. They assume men are like that too. But for (sane) men, their relationship is just one facet of their lives, not the be-all, end-all of their existence. Things with the old lady may be dicey, but maybe your team is in the playoffs, or you got a sweet new car. So you're happy. This confounds many women. If their relationship is jacked up, women will be out of sorts. Unless it's really bad, and they'll be out looking for…

Another thing women turn into a personal crisis that guys would handle amongst themselves in about 30 seconds: "Hey douchebags, I only had a salad and you guys all got steaks! Fuck this, I'm not paying an equal share of this!" The other guys would call him a pussy for just getting salad, and they'd re-figure the bill. Done and done.

You brought up a good point: "...involvements with people you wouldn't care for." I am (and I suspect many other guys are) much more happy with a small number of fairly close friends & family and a tight-knit social circle of people I trust. In my experience, most women are having none of that. They want to see and be seen, with half a million acquaintances (not friends) and if you're with her, you'll get dragged along. If you're an introvert, as some guys are, it is awkward, uncomfortable, and …

I sort of see your reasoning, but I think a big problem in modern society is so many children (especially boys) being raised without healthy male influences and guidance. All thing being equal...I think a child is better off being raised with a mother and father. Of course two responsible, caring same-sex parents or a responsible single parent are better than an irresponsible married couple that don't care. Without a strong authority figure in the house, children, especially boys, tend to grow u…

1 has always been one of my first reasons to not get married, I had always worded it more as "Never put someone else in a position where they could completely destroy your life". The idea is the same though. Another one I say is "Never let your happiness or satisfaction with life be dependent on someone else."

As a guy who grew up with a mother and two sisters, I have yet to meet the woman who isn't scared to death of empty space, devoid of clutter, that is easy to keep clean. Empty, open space is something that must be filled with furniture, or trinkets, or obsolete shit. My father saw the space to work in the garage whittled down to nothing as it got filled with useless/unusable shit.

This is fucking awesome. I don't think MGTOWs needs a manifesto, but anyone who asks about the philosophy, critically or otherwise, should be directed to that essay as a first stop to understanding its origins. Hysterical "patriarchy" and "rape culture" talk appears in the comments beginning in 3...2...1...

Women are attracted to intelligence in men only insofar as it typically implies a capacity to earn a lot of money (think Elon Musk). As for the uber-intelligent research scientist working for a modest salary at a government agency, he can go fuck himself as far as they're concerned.

I think 80% of being alpha is your native personality anyway. Yeah, it's absolutely easier to adopt that Alpha persona if you're built like a Greek god. But there are plenty of Alpha types that I am NOT physically intimidated by (and I'm not a real big dude) but they are just outgoing and have an innate confidence and charisma that can't be learned. Besides, I think it's more consistent with the MGTOW philosophy to just go about your business without regard to what's going to get you into womens…

I hate to break it to these ladies, but having a college degree is not the same as being smart or "clever". I think of being "smart" as a combination of your natural intelligence (your raw brainpower) and your level of intellectual curiosity, which compels you to look around, observe, question, analyze, and modify the world around you...as opposed to being consumed with feelings, emotions, and social interactions. I've met a lot of women who obviously are naturally intelligent and well-educated,…

How even the women I thought were some of the "good ones" could be be so fickle and hot-and-cold with the decent guys that have/are dating, but can't spread their legs fast enough for tatted-up, unemployed, criminal sociopaths with shitty attitudes and prison records. Guys that any dude could spot a mile away as being pure loser. I understand the whole "Chad" thing where the guy is a jackass, but is a physical Adonis. This is different. You could have the brains of Stephen Hawking, but If you're short AND an introvert, you're essentially an invisible subhuman as far as most women are concerned, and the only thing that can make up for that is demonstrably having crazy BANK....and I don't mean make $100k/year at a good job bank, I mean I'm-already-set-for-life-at-age-28 bank.

I couldn't imagine seeing a pretty woman and thinking to myself, "Damn, that woman is really hot, but she's too short/tall so I'm not interested." I get having a preference....I have preferences...but having superficial requirements like this (as opposed to a practical requirement of, say, having a job) makes no sense to me.

Imagine if a 5'7" dude "stealth shorted" a woman in an online dating ad. He DAMN sure would get called out and shamed as some sort of duplicitous sub-human. On the other hand, the "stealth whale" is just 6 months of afternoons in the gym and no carbs away from no longer being a whale. The short dude is fucked (or more correctly, NOT fucked) regardless.

It's been said before here, but just how so few women seem to be interested in anything worthwhile...no hobbies, no intellectual interests. The single ones care about Facebook/Instagram, garbage-ass reality TV, and suckering some fool into marrying them so they can start planning a wedding (one of the few things they all seem to care about and which is, appropriately, a huge waste of time and money by any empirical measure.) The married ones are mostly wrapped up in either looking for a house to…
