I understand the cynical assumption considering the times we live in but no I'm not saying degrade people. I'm genuinely concerned for their health. I'm also not telling anyone how to live, if being obese is what they want out of life that's their prerogative. All I'm really saying is you can love yourself and want better for yourself (in this specific scenario regarding weight loss) at the same time.

For me, I think the irrational side comes from the level of fear. For instance I don't tend to talk to women at work unless it's completely work related or they start the conversation and even then I keep it as pc as possible. I've seen how small false accusations can get you fired.
