I like the wallstreetbets approach. If you make a bet and don’t pay up you receive a permanent ban.

Just out of curiosity are you taking your boyfriends last name?

New holiday grocery shopping law. Mutual combat with cheese platters is permitted and will act as a legally binding contract forcing the loser to pay for both cheese platters.

Ok well my opinion is that you’re whining about my opinions that are simply gender flipped versions of your own. Maybe you should unpack that. You want to unpack all this together? Because oh my heavens I’m seeing a lot to unpack here.

Nice last minute edit on your comment after I already replied.

There is no point. Everything here is opinion and are all equally valid. Your own experience with your boyfriend changing his mind doesn’t outweigh what anyone else thinks.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/21 06:58 PM
1

Ok? Women in general want to get married deep down, as I said. Round and round we go with gender flipped opinions that are all equally valid.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/21 06:56 PM

Men’s family and social circle push him towards marriage all the time. You assuming it happens more for women doesn’t mean anything.

A husband cannot force his wife to be a live in maid or nanny or have kids. She is free to leave at anytime. Maybe ladies need to grow a backbone instead of complaining about situations they volunteered to be in.

So now we’re only talking about traditionalist men? When did that detail get added? There are plenty of men who aren’t “traditionalist that believe women should be under a man’s thumb” that still want to get married. Your cherry picked facts speak for themselves. There I fixed it for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/21 06:37 PM
2

You can want to get married and eventually decide you want to leave said marriage. Happens all the time. That’s not what we’re debating. In the average relationship the woman wants and is ready to get married more than the man.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/21 06:30 PM
2

Everything you are saying is your own opinion and can be flipped and still be just as valid. The woman believes in it. Either just not right then, or not with him. But women want to get married. The more controlling the woman, the more likely she is to want to get married (it's a trap).
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/21 06:24 PM
2

Ok? I think deep down all women want to get married. It’s just a question of to who and when. They instinctively know that they are the ones who benefit from that.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/21 06:22 PM
2

It’s more common that the woman in the relationship is the one that wants marriage and the man either doesn’t believe in it or is dragging his feet. The opposite situation happens but not as much.

Lol you keep yelling “pullout” as if that’s a 100% effective form of preventing pregnancy. Because irresponsible women would rather take the risk since dick feels so good. Their lack of self control is not society’s problem. Sorry, she knew the risks and can enjoy the joys of childbirth. Just like men who feel the joy of being forced to pay for a kid they never wanted. By your logic women don’t need access to abortion. You can just tell them “don’t fuck or get sterilized”. There’s your equality.…

I know you didn’t claim that. I was only telling you why men would be so quick to jump down your throat. They want you to prove you’re the exception to the rule that a lot of women won’t even admit exists(men having a higher sex drive). They are “ready for a fight” because they are constantly arguing about the topic with other women.

You’re not allowed to apply that much logical thinking to these kinds of posts. You’re supposed to be gung-ho about your initial knee jerk reaction before analyzing the details. Reddit will side with the woman more often than the man. It’s just the result of the demographics on Reddit and women’s higher social value. Women just like to pretend this whole site is vehemently anti women because of a few dark corners that are quarantined or banned. In this story he’s stupid because it’s her lunch break who cares what she does. But maybe she should follow Reddit’s advice and communicate instead of just ignoring the so called agreement she made about her writing career with h…

Of course it’s possible for a woman to have a high sex drive. But some women here like to claim that men and women as a whole have equal sex drives which is complete nonsense. In the overwhelming majority of relationships the woman rejects the man’s advances for sex more than the man rejects her.

Dads always tell their daughters that boys are only after one thing and to be careful. Girls receive better advice overall for dealing with the opposite gender than boys do.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/21 12:30 AM
1

There is no form of birth control men have access to that can prevent them from having a kid except permanent sterilization. “Don’t fuck raw” doesn’t guarantee anything. You’re not showing equal treatment to both genders. You’re showing different options based on biological differences. Women with access to abortion will never be forced to have a child they don’t want despite having unprotected sex. Men even when using birth control can still be forced to pay for a child they didn’t want. We can…

A son taking any kind of dating or relationship advice from his mom is literally the worst thing possible for him. She will set him up to fail 99.99% of the time. Unfortunately young boys trust their mother and think “my mom is a woman I’ll ask her and she can help me understand how women think.”
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/21 11:59 PM

That’s why the rage phase of the Red pill is talked about so often. For a lot of men it’s the first time they figure out that almost everything they’ve been told about women and relationships is complete nonsense. Girls grow up hearing men are dogs who only want one thing. Boys grow up hearing how wonderful and pure women are.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/21 11:41 PM

Thank you for the biology lesson. I’ve been waiting a long time to learn how babies are made. I’ll be sure to tell women they don’t need access to abortion because they can just make sure no sperm reaches their egg. It’s easy to do. There’s plenty of birth control methods that they have access to. Everything on PPD is pointless. This argument isn’t an outlier.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/21 11:01 PM
1

Nope I’ll never have to take on the burden of pregnancy or any of that other stuff. Biology isn’t fair. “Don’t fuck raw” doesn’t guarantee she won’t get pregnant. I know my reproductive rights and act accordingly. You don’t need to tell me how I should or shouldn’t have sex. You’re the one getting all butt hurt because women’s get out of parenthood/child support free card is in jeopardy. I’ll never feel sympathy for you and you don’t have to feel sympathy for me. Deal?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/21 10:50 PM
1

Why can’t you just say you don’t want men to be able to have sex without paying the price like women potentially have to? I could say you want to punish men for how biology works just as much as the reverse.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/21 09:26 PM
1

That doesn’t make it illegal. I don’t have to go live their because it doesn’t matter to me. I’m not a woman. I have no reproductive rights either way. No matter what I do every time I have sex I have to accept the possibility that a child may be born as a result. I don’t get to consent to “just sex” like women do.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/21 09:18 PM

A woman can abort a fetus resulting from rape. A man can not get out of paying if he was deceptively baby trapped.

Still legal.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/21 09:09 PM

You just proved my point. There’s no way for men to have sex without consenting to having a kid they potentially didn’t want. Condoms and pulling out are not 100% effective and sterilization is often times irreversible. Sounds to me like women don’t need access to abortion then. Women can rely on a condom, pulling out, or sterilization just like men have to, or maybe just don’t have sex. Seems fair since that’s what you’re telling men. Women can have all the unprotected sex they want and 100% gu…

Most of the developed world has legal abortion. I wasn’t talking about countries in Africa or the Middle East. I hate to break it to you but I don’t care about countries I don’t live in.

Abortion is legal in all 50 states in the United States.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/21 08:38 PM

Men have no say in who gets born in the United States. Anyone who disagrees with that doesn’t understand how the law works.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/21 08:09 PM
3

Probably because men don’t have the option to opt out of having a kid like women do? A man cannot have sex without consenting to the possibility of having a kid even if the chances of that happening because of condoms and birth control minimize the risk. A woman can have unprotected sex 50 times a day every day for 20 years and she will never have to have a child she doesn’t want.

Do women with extensive checklists that only a top 1% man could meet ever stop and think to themselves “why would this man choose me?” For women like that it seems like all that is required for two people to be a good match is him meeting all her requirements. His preferences are a non factor lol.

Women don't do things like that, it's just not in female nature. If a woman did that, she would be an extreme outlier with a very very male brain and for that reason would not be really applicable because it would be a unique situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/21 07:33 AM
1

Interesting. So when a woman behaves in a way deemed extremely negative by society, in this case looking at the ass of a corpse, she has a “male brain” which removes her from “team women” and that changes everything?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/21 06:19 AM
2

So what’s your plan if the woman you’re talking to leans right? You going to bend your beliefs based on every woman you meet?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/21 05:46 AM
3

After a quick Google search this is what came up. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karen_Greenlee And here’s a source that reviewed 122 cases of necrophilia of which 8% were female. http://jaapl.org/content/jaapl/17/2/153.full.pdf So now what? We just ignore those cases and keep going like it’s impossible for a woman to be aroused by a corpse just because you say so?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/21 05:34 AM
2

Why are you worried about being thrown into the conservative bucket? Are you also worried about being thrown into the liberal bucket by saying you’re a moderate? Left wing ideologies are heavily over representing on online safe spaces like Twitter and Reddit. In real life it’s closer to 50/50 and a lot of people lean towards the center. Just say you’re not that passionate about politics.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/21 05:20 AM
2

Alright this is pointless. I’m glad you can speak for every single woman on the planet on how their sexuality works because you’re part of team women. You not believing what another woman says doesn’t mean anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/21 05:09 AM

So what’s your answer to my second paragraph above? “But if Henry Cavill was in a body bag there’s not a single woman on the entire planet that would say “open the bag I want to see his penis”? 3+ billion women and exactly 0 would be aroused by checking him out? That’s your stance?” Do you still think women are incapable of being aroused by a corpse? If there’s 1 woman on earth who would get aroused then my answer of “technically yes” to the question “do I think women can be aroused by corpses” …
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/21 04:56 AM
2

Why does “aroused” have to equal having sex with a corpse? I doubt the guy in the paramedic story had any intention of having sex with the bloated body. But if Henry Cavill was in a body bag there’s not a single woman on the entire planet that would say “open the bag I want to see his penis”? 3+ billion women and exactly 0 would be aroused by checking him out? That’s your stance? Interesting how AWALT applies as long as it’s not a negative behavioral trait.

When they are younger like still in school. Yes. As you get older you care less and less about what other people think. Some will always care. Some won’t care at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/21 04:32 AM
1

Do I think they are capable of it? Technically yes. It’s exceptionally rare and probably almost never happens. I’m 100% confident men do it more. But why are you acting like it’s literally impossible for a woman to sexualize a, in your example, drowned bloated body. All I asked is “what if”. I didn’t say it happens or doesn’t happen just creating a hypothetical situation. No one cares what % of live dicks you find disgusting.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/21 04:23 AM

Ok so what if they were women?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/21 04:06 AM

She’s being too specific and revealing how men speak to her based on her own political beliefs. What she means is “men will say anything to get them laid. In my personal case they lie by omission if they’re conservative because I’m a liberal/democrat.”

Creating strawmen is how people here like to win arguments in their own mind. In this situation any attempt to debate semantics means you are a misogynist and support the guys behavior. Don’t even bother trying to debate with them it’s pointless.

Women are clueless to how much men value sex and the effort required to get it. What women see as “man being manipulated” is most often the man doing the math in his head and deciding the sex is worth the bullshit he’s putting up with. He’s not being manipulated. He’s doing a cost benefit analysis and the pros of sex outweigh the cons of “manipulation”.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/21 02:14 AM
3

Sure lots of guys get manipulated by the possibility of sex. But if he’s having consistent sex he’s most likely not being manipulated. He knows what’s going on and decided the sex is worth it. I guess you could call it manipulation but I think most people assume there’s a level of deception involved for someone to be manipulated.

The highlight of the trial for me was watching the prosecutor point a rifle at the jury with his finger on the trigger. Literally broke every gun safety rule in the book lol.

Everyone here is making this guy seem like he hates his girlfriend. What if he’s really just a giant dumbass? Some people are hopelessly stupid. Maybe it never even occurred to him that making your partner run through the pouring rain when you could easily pick them up is a dick move.

The rule of law doesn’t say you can violently hunt someone down and try to kill. Your issue doesn’t matter. Kyle defended himself and was found not guilty. Take your beef up with the mob who took it upon themselves to seek “justice” against someone they decided was guilty of a crime.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/21 08:20 PM

Or the violent mob could just go home? Kyle has every right to be there. Sounds like victim blaming to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/21 07:13 PM

He’s not an idiot or a hero. He’s an innocent kid who was forced to defend himself from a violent mob.

That’s just how biology works. The bottom 10% of men are worse in almost every way than women in the bottom 10%. Men are more represented at the ends of the bell curve.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/21 04:16 AM

And Kyle has a right to defend himself regardless of what a “believable witness” or “circumstantial evidence” says. Are you really going to tell someone getting chased by an angry violent mob that they are by law required to let the mob do whatever they want to them because the mob believes he’s guilty of a crime? Just admit you’re anti gun, anti 2A, and don’t believe people have a right to protect themselves so we can move on. There’s no common ground here.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/21 03:38 AM
1

Show me the video of him threatening to shoot people and pointing his gun at others. Exactly there’s no proof of that you just want to paint him as the bad guy because he was armed. Even still it wouldn’t give you the right to chase someone down and try to kill them.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/21 03:20 AM
3

Then make the choices reasonable so it makes people have to think about which they would choose if it’s something that could actually happen to them. Not some ridiculous scenario that no one would ever be in. Example. Q4W: Would you rather marry a man that makes $50k a year and splits household chores/childcare evenly or a man that makes $150k but will never lift a finger inside the home? Q4M: Would you rather marry a woman with a publicly known “college hoe phase” or a woman you know for certai…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/21 03:07 AM

Please explain how walking INTO a school with a gun is the same as running AWAY from a violent mob and only firing when they actually attack you. The fact that you think those two situations are comparable really makes me question why I even bothered to reply.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/21 02:45 AM
5

That doesn’t really work in situations where doing nothing or choosing neither option is the best choice. In the trolley example, which I’m assuming you can only save one and the other dies, your options are save the child, save the elderly person, do nothing and both die. In most of the posts here it’s between two shitty choices when most people wouldn’t sacrifice anything by not choosing either option.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/21 02:41 AM
12

Most of the thought experiments here suck ass. I constantly see hypothetical questions where both choices are dogshit and it ruins the whole point. Q4W: Would you rather marry a beta male with a crippling porn addiction or Chad who will openly cheat on you with multiple women? Q4M: Would you rather marry a woman with a body count well over 1000 that still does porn as a side gig or a devout religious virgin who will have missionary sex with you once every 2 years for the sole purpose of procreat…

If I got shot and died because I attacked someone holding a rifle with my skateboard no I would not expect anyone to feel sorry for me. He didn’t get hit with a stray bullet. He was physically attacking Kyle.

“Generic you” lol. I like how you had to mention that because I’ve never whined about women or complained that being a man is unfair and that I need the approval of women to approve of my life choices to feel good about myself. You want me to argue over the straw man you just demolished?

There are other ways to deal with your issues but if you need therapy to deal with them then whatever I don’t care. Pretending a man going to therapy isn’t a turn off for women will only hurt you in the long run.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/21 01:12 AM

A man seeking therapy is a turn off for women. You can call it whatever you want.

“This kid was walking around like hot s–t, looking for a reason to say, ‘Oh I gotta do something about this,’” she said. She feels sorry because she thinks he got manipulated into being a vigilante.

Men who need to cry on a couch talking to a stranger will never be respected by women. If you really feel you need therapy as a man don’t tell the woman you’re dating about it.

Lol like anyone cares what she thinks. Maybe she should have told her idiot boyfriend that using a skateboard to attack someone holding a rifle was a bad idea. Kyle Rittenhouse defended himself and nothing of value was lost.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/21 12:51 AM
0

Sure because a rotting tooth is the same as being stressed out from work and needing a couch to cry on. I’m not saying it’s fair, I’m saying it’s a turn off for women even though they will never admit it. Unless they are turned on by feminine men.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/21 12:34 AM

Men who can’t deal with issues on their own are seen as weak in the eyes of women. Seeking therapy is admission of this weakness and should not be admitted to women you’re dating. Is that an unfair double standard? Yeah probably. But I don’t care how things are supposed to be in make believe equality land.

Men being eliminated from the gene pool will never happen. Making sure your genetics get passed to future generations is one of the strongest biological urges humans have. Who’s going to keep society up and running if men have no reason to invest in it? If civilization was solely dependent on women we would all be living in mud huts with no running water or electricity. Women will always welcome men into the gene pool in exchange for comfort and security. If that deal somehow falls apart men wil…

If honesty worked to get women in bed the majority of men wouldn’t have to lie their ass off to get laid. Claiming honesty works is the most female thing you could possibly say. Honesty works for the specific man you already want to sleep with if his intentions also line up with yours.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/21 09:37 PM

I don’t think women can grasp the competitive nature men have when it comes to being selected by a woman over other men. That or they’re just slyly trying to convince men that being the 2nd choice isn’t a big deal because it gives them more safety nets when their first choice doesn’t commit.

I’m saying he never should have dated her to begin with, communicating with her about it is a waste of time, and he’s on his own to decide if the possibility of being her backup plan is something he can live with. Her part in this whole thing is a non factor. To me, the risk of dating someone who already rejected you is not worth it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/21 08:05 PM
3

She did nothing wrong. I’m saying the guy never should have dated her in the first place and asking for advice on how to find out if he was a consolation prize or not is a waste of time. He’ll never know for sure and it’s too risky to assume anything. Just go find someone else. This is how guys set themselves up to get dropped like a hot potato the split second the other guy texts her acting interested.

He never should have dated her. Everything past that point is a mess he’s gotten himself into that should have been avoided from the start. He built a shitty house on bad foundation and is now asking Reddit what color he should paint the walls to fix everything.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/21 07:25 PM
2

This is how guys set themselves up to get dropped like a hot potato the split second the other guy texts her acting interested. It’s not worth the risk unless this guy has no other options. And since he’s asking for dating advice on Reddit I’ll bet that’s the case.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/21 07:14 PM

And what is talking to her about it going to accomplish? Is she going to admit to him that he was a back up plan if that’s the truth?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/21 07:08 PM

Yes. But why is communicating with her part of the equation? If he was indeed the backup plan will she admit that too him?

Oof your post history. I admit defeat. Please ignore everything I said.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/21 06:37 PM

In the post she said she wasn’t interested. She was pursuing a relationship hard with the other guy and only gave up after he wouldn’t commit. Then she asked him out. The whole thing reeks of desperate back up plan. The comment you quoted as “reasonable advice” suggests communication. Any attempt to communicate with her about it will be a complete waste of time. She’s going to say whatever it takes to make him feel comfortable. “I really wanted to end up with this other guy but he didn’t commit …
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/21 06:20 PM
6

Just tell her you’re not interested or ghost. No one can ever prove if he intended to use her for sex or not. Reddit tells men they owe women a lifetime of undying commitment once you sleep together. Women aren’t entitled to relationships just like men aren’t entitled to sex.

Their explanations of why they are staying almost always minimize the violent nature of their partner though. They don’t admit another part of the relationship makes up for it and accept the violence as part of the deal. They aren’t saying “yes he beats me like crazy but he’s good with the kids so it’s worth it” or “yes he hits me almost every week but he pays all the bills so it’s a good deal for me.”

If the ratios of men and women on OLD were switched women would be protesting in the streets to dismantle every dating website on earth. The dating game for women hinges on them having some level of control over the men they are dating due to supply and demand. FDS is the result of taking good dating advice for women and pushing it to illogical extremes. There’s only 3 outcomes for those women. 1. Stay single forever. 2. End up with a man that has no other dating options. 3. Tone it down to more realistic levels and meet someone.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/21 06:40 AM

So after making the man wait 6 months to have sex he doesn’t get to orgasm? Why not just find a man that likes you enough to care about your pleasure in the bedroom? FDS are masters of making things harder than they need to be.

Does that surprise anyone? Nature has rewarded men for being evil since the dawn of time. One of us had to kill and pillage and women didn’t want to do it. So here we are.

People are interested because it polarized the nation during the riots last year and received tons of media coverage. Depends on how well you know the guy. If you know him well enough just flat out say “you need to lose weight. It’s hurting your chances big time”. Men don’t beat around the bush like women do when it comes to stuff like this. Guys have no problem telling their friends “you are disgustingly fat and you need to stop eating everything in sight.”

There’s no possible way to ask for her number? I’d imagine a business card with “call me” or whatever written on it would have a low chance of success outside of very specific situations. You need to find a way to remove the awkward/inappropriateness of the setting. Unless you have a badass job with an amazing business card. Then by all means pass those out.

Lots of skinny people think they “eat a lot”. Write down everything you eat for a week. I’d bet my house that you don’t eat as much as you think you do. UMC men marrying a waitress with only a GED is very rare. However men are very open to dating women in a much lower tax bracket than themselves. The ratios are not in your favor if you are looking for a quality 35 year old man. His dating age range is probably women from 25-34. If you are looking for men from 33-37(since you like slightly older men) your quality options are going to be slim pickings compared to his. I’m not saying he’s too good for you or anything. I’m just pointing out that he has a lot of good women willing to date him while you’re stuck sifting through the revolving door of rejects until you stumble across a good one.

How is the spark supposed to grow overtime if you are dating 5 different people in one week? If you believe in an “instant spark” being necessary then sure date as much as possible until you feel the spark with someone. If you feel that someone can grow on you then slow things down so you can dedicate some time to let things develop. I’m a dude so your strategy and opportunities are completely different from mine. Doesn’t matter how much you trust your partner. When the stakes are high enough doubt will start to creep in. If some serial killer said “I’m going to kill your entire family if your husband has been sexting women behind your back. It’s new guys attractiveness vs current partners attractiveness+years of a happy relationship, love, and memories. The new man’s attractiveness has to be worth more to her than her current partners attractiveness and everything she’s already invested in their relationship.

Having a traditionally nerdy job doesn’t make you a nerd. It’s just that guys with those jobs are nerds regardless of their occupation. Agreed. In this scenario it’s new guys attractiveness vs current boyfriend/husbands attractiveness+years of love and memories. Step 1. Men don’t understand or take the physical actuality of pregnancy into account in their thought process. But I want to. Step 2. In both cases you had the choice between child support and abortion. Men do not have a choice. I asked you to give me a dollar number since you say men will never understand the value of pregnancy. Your beliefs on child support don’t matter to me for this question. I asked you to quantify the cost of a pregnancy that you can terminate with Plan B or a very early abortion. Would you sacrifice 100% of every penny you have now and forever until the day you die to avoid the early abortion option? If the answer is “no” then that means there’s a dollar amount between $0 and infinity that you would equate to its value. What is that number?

Most women end up having children. Of course 18-24 year olds say they are child free. Then they reach their late 20s and want kids. And they do mind ending up single mothers. If a women started dating a man when she was 27 and all signs were pointing towards marriage. 4 years later he still hasn’t proposed and she is about to turn 32. Most of the time if you’re moving to a completely different country it’s a quality of life improvement so the good outweighs the bad. But we’re talking about unsuccessful people. Men and women who know what is attractive to the opposite sex aren’t struggling like these guys. It’s not just hobbies and I never said women would flock to him because he’s a gamer. Guys just list hobbies like that thinking it’s benefiting them. You can apply it to behavior too. There’s plenty of men who think being a quiet shy polite wallflower should get him dating opportunities because that’s attractive to him in a woman. If your plan is to wait f…

I think one of the biggest things women gain from being in a relationship other than social validation is the comfort of avoiding the risks of navigating the world as a single women especially if she’s trying to date. Mens physical and sexual safety doesn’t really depend on his relationship status. Women aren’t harassing him, he’s not scared to live alone, or bring random women home, or go walk to his car from the bar late at night, or eventually having to be alone and intimate with someone 3x a…

Agreed. Overweight is unattractive. Being overweight doesn’t make you average attractiveness just because everyone else is fat also. Mathematically average does not equal average attractiveness. My rule is any chick who isn’t fat is automatically at least a 5.5/10.

It’s a combination. Women marry men who are mentally/physically/financially healthy (or they try to). So naturally the men who qualify for marriage are guys who would have lived a longer life even if they chose to remain single. The other part is women do generally keep the house running smoother in a lot of relationships and having someone else in your life that has a vested interest in seeing you happy and healthy doesn’t count for nothing.

The “compliments” you get from women after spending time in the gym won’t be “sick delts bro what’s your OHP” like how guys will compliment you. Either way the girlfriend in the story did nothing wrong. She communicated a “sexual want” and he agreed and at no point asked her to stop during the act. I think a huge component to the rating inaccuracy is that people rank themselves based on what they find attractive in the opposite gender. Like in your example the dude that thinks he’s a 5 but is really a 3. In his head he’s thinking “I’m a nice person that’s a little socially awkward and enjoy my video games when I’m not working.” He sees that as a positive because a nice slightly awkward gamer girlfriend is desirable to these men so he thinks it increases his rating the way those traits woul…

I don’t think men or women differ that much in shooting for partners out of their league. Like sure there’s a portion of the population that is completely delusional about where they rank but most people have a general idea. Men and women just get rejected at different points in the courtship process. Generally if a man aims too high he gets rejected at the approach stage. If a woman aims too high she gets rejected after sex/before commitment. But why can’t women “play the numbers game” like men…

So given the option would you rather have to take another Plan B or pay 18 years of child support and co parent with a rapist? That’s was my argument. Plan B and abortion is bad but it’s not worse than what the man would go through in the original scenario of the rapist deciding to keep the baby.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 09:39 AM

I feel like you’re looking at my posts thinking “this guy would let his daughter get torn apart just to save money on child support”. I already said injuries, diseases, or whatever else you want to add on would change my decision. Women don’t get STDs, injured, or physically hurt every time they have sex. If you want to add details and have me choose again I’d have no problem doing that.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 09:26 AM
2

I don’t get what angle you thought I was taking. I’m saying if men had to choose between going through the early term abortion themselves or paying child support for a kid they never wanted for 18 years they would get the abortion. What part of my argument talked about dads abandoning their kids or the lack of recognition single mothers receive for doing everything on their own after their partner walked out on them?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 09:13 AM
2

Why do people keep adding additional circumstances onto my original argument? Do you want to rework the scenario to where my daughter would have literally no access to abortion? Because that’s what your doing and I took my position based on being able to access a clinic or take a Plan B.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 09:07 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 09:00 AM

Ok so then your adding physical trauma to the equation and I would choose to save my daughter depending on the hypothetical injuries. With my original position there wasn’t diseases, bruises, tearing, or whatever other injury you want to add on. It was non violent vanilla sex without consent. Not jackhammering and she ends up in a wheelchair for 2 weeks.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 08:56 AM

Female rapists usually pose no physical threat to men during the actual sex. He’s not going to suffer injury like a women would. I’ve said multiple times its much worse being penetrated than being forced to penetrate. My argument is comparing the options my daughter would have against my son. Daughter takes a Plan B or an early abortion versus 18 years of forced child support my son would have to pay for a child he didn’t want with a rapist mother if she decides to keep the child.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 08:48 AM
1

My argument was between 2 choices. Option 1. Watch my daughter take a plan B or get a very early abortion. Option 2. Watch my son get financially screwed and pay 18 years of child ruined knowing he has an unwanted child with a rapist mother. Any addition details about the scenario such as the rape being violent or me being able to easily pay whatever child support would change my decision. I already said in another comment if I was rich I would save the daughter.

Watch my son pay 18 years of child support knowing he has an unwanted child with a rapist mother. You keep trying to bring the risks of childbirth into the equation when I already said if my daughter would have to carry to term I would save her instead.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 08:32 AM

If I’m rich and money is no issue then I choose to save the daughter. I would cut a check for child support every month and help my son deal with the emotional aftermath. The act of being penetrated is worse than being forced to penetrate so with no other factors I would save the daughter. But an early abortion is not bad enough to offset the difference of forced child support for 18 years if your finances can’t support it that the man would have to deal with.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 08:16 AM
2

Ok I think I’m just misunderstanding your definition of rape. If a woman is tripping over herself drunk and a sober man has sex with her that’s not considered rape to you? It would be “self intoxication”?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 08:03 AM
1

Ok but that’s not part of my argument. I’m assuming my daughter would get an abortion. Everything I’ve said has been based on the choice between taking a Plan B pill or very early abortion versus 18 years of forced child support and knowing your child has a racist mother.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 07:57 AM
1

I’m not against abortion and would be perfectly ok if they were provided for free with taxpayer money and I also disagree with people shaming others for making their own choices in life. I’ll never downplay the risks on child birth and the sacrifices women have to make to bring a baby to term. But in the scenario I’m arguing it’s Plan B or a very early abortion versus 18 years of forced child support and possibly co parenting with rapist mother of your child. Any details beyond that could change…

I think a man raping a woman is worse than the reverse. If it was the “violent, dragged into a van, fight for your life rape” that happens to women I would choose to save her over my son. But in this scenario they were black out drunk and someone essentially had what would be “vanilla sex” if there was consent. I’m arguing the effects of 18 years of forced child support and your child having a rapist for a mom is worse than helping your daughter deal with taking a Plan B or getting a very early …

Yes but that’s changing the point of my argument to lessen the consequences of child support for a kid you didn’t want and had no say in. What if the family isn’t in a position to help financially?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 07:29 AM
1

If you could easily afford to pay child support for your son then I would agree with saving the daughter. But in a lot of cases child support is life changing money or even financially crippling with jail time waiting for you if you can’t keep up.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 07:13 AM

My argument is your son has no choice in what happens. It doesn’t matter what the rapist mother could potentially do because you have no say in her decision. Maybe she takes a Plan B. Maybe she gets an early abortion. Maybe she wanted to get pregnant and plans on keeping it. The point is men have no choice.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 06:53 AM
1

I know it does. But in this scenario we would be comparing the effects of a very early abortion against being forced into 18 years of child support and knowing your kid has a rapist mother. I’d rather deal with taking a Plan B which happens millions of times a year already.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 06:48 AM

Once again. If the scenario assumed the women would be forced to carry the pregnancy to term and give birth then I would 100% choose to save the daughter. But that’s not the case. We’re assuming she has access to abortion clinics in the United States.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 06:43 AM

I can’t believe I lurked here for so long. Being in the ring is way fun than watching from the sidelines.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 06:41 AM

Your son would have to be a pretty amazing person the be equipped to handle having his child have a rapist mom while simultaneously co parenting and paying her. Seems easier to emotionally support your daughter after a Plan B pill.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 06:37 AM
2

So given the option you would rather pay 18 years of child support instead of taking a plan B or at worse an extremely early abortion? Quantify how much men should take pregnancy into account.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 06:33 AM
2

So you think given the option of taking a Plan B pill or paying $400 a month for 18 years women would choose to pay?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 06:30 AM
3

“If men could get pregnant they would have drive thru abortion clinics on every corner.” I’ve heard that said multiple times here. Given the choice of child support or getting an abortion themselves (if men could get pregnant) a man would choose abortion every time.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 06:27 AM
1

If she was in a country where she was 100% forced to carry the pregnancy to term and give birth I would agree with you. But that’s not the scenario we’re discussing. The daughter would have access to abortion clinics.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 06:24 AM
2

Who’s forcing her to give birth?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 06:15 AM

No one is forcing anyone to give birth. That’s a choice the woman makes knowing the risk.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 06:12 AM
2

So forcing a man to have sex against his will isn’t rape to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 06:07 AM
4

Please. An abortion on a fetus the size of a grape resulting in the mothers death would make the national news on every Republican news outlet across the country. If that happened we would hear about it non stop.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 05:57 AM
3

So it’s the victims fault he was raped? Maybe he was asking for by the way he was dressed?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 05:54 AM
6

“Venmo’ing some cash” is a gross understatement. 18 years of child support is hundreds of thousands of dollars if it had been invested instead and your child is still growing up with no father and will be at a huge disadvantage in life. An abortion less than a month into a pregnancy is not a massive medical procedure.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 05:52 AM
2

That means absolutely nothing. Also common sense would be to get the abortion as soon as possible. Not wait months.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 05:46 AM
2

You act like there are armed guards on the highways checking for pregnant women. Get in the car and drive to an abortion friendly state. Not that hard.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 05:42 AM
3

That’s a choice she can make although I have no idea why she would keep it with easily accessible abortion. Son has no choices.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 05:40 AM

So you don’t think any woman has had sex with a man who was too drunk to consent?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 05:38 AM

I’m assuming this happens in the United States. Your daughter cannot be forced to give birth. You’re telling me you would rather have your son pay child support for 18 years instead of driving your daughter to a state that allows abortion and never worry about an unwanted child?
