Absolutely. Unfortunately as humans we tend to give more attention to the ornament on the summit that to the brick buried at the base supporting the whole structure.

Exactly this. Posts like this are inspiring and I don't want to take anything away from them. But such posts assume success is only hard work and discipline. They underestimate several other factors that lead to success. Effort should be celebrated, inaction should be discouraged. Success may come or not. Also such places undermine the efforts of others who might have worked a lot in a field with not much "success" but laid the foundation for others to build up on.

Emotionally independent directly implies not to get attached to anything ( almost Buddhist in the principle). Almost everyone I know in long term relationship has had to adapt and compromise which is directly related to them being attached and felt loved and cared for by the other person. Hence to make your self emotionally independent directly implies to keep yourself at an arms length from anything that leads to bonding with others. This is good if u don't want to get hurt but bad in the long …

I am confused a bit on the happiness part. Yes happiness comes from within and how u react. But a person in a relationship will not be in one if they do not get happiness from it. You won't ever bond with anyone if you don't allow yourselves to be happy in their company. It's their company and presence that make you happy. So are u saying don't get attached to anyone for the fear of heart break ? This seems practical but also very cold as well. Am I missing something here.

Dude how do u keep things casual with a girl from the workplace ? It can get really uncomfortable when u are in a small space and u are gaming more than one girl. I ask this since I find it very hard to game more than one girl at the same time in a social environment where the targets might be able to see each other or your interactions with them and maybe even know the other girl.

In an ideal world I would do both. Salsa is more about speed and precision but it's not very sensual. Tango on the other hand is slow and precise and can be quiet sensual at times. Bachata is far more sensual but is not as technically hard as either salsa or tango. So if u struggle with rhythm start off bachata maybe and then move to tango or salsa. Baby steps. If u don't think bachata is ur thing then either salsa or tango will do depending on what u find comfortable. Get one or two classes of …

I am one of the finest dancers around in my city (and I even instruct salsa time to time) and yet I have issues with girls. Lots will be attracted to you but remember that these girls are used to dancing with many men and you being a dancer or learner does not make a big impact on the social scene unless u got game and you are physically desirable to at least some extent. Danicng will however give u lots of confidence to go out there and not be afraid of things. I was much worse before dancing. …

"Her dad" ? How young was this girl ?

I see your point ! However its not something I have not heard before. It does explain the underlying principles as to what masculinity implies in the context of game but fails to take into account how the roles of genders have changed over the years and hence its harder for men today to decide how to be masculine and convey it without coming off as an asshole (conventional gender roles assume things that would not go down well with modern women). Hell women themselves are sometimes confused as t…

I would say hot showers that end with a cold spell for like 30 secs or less. Just like u would do after coming from a hot sauna.

Can u elaborate what that masculine polarity u are talking about is ?

As for the moving ahead with seduction, I think where a lot of guys get hung up is they focus on they're subconsciously focusing on their insecurities which makes them nervous and less likely to escalate. I believe we all know how to escalate, it's just we get in the way of ourselves. The main takeaway I want to give with this post is to break through these insecurities and become your masterpiece. The rest will fall in place. Thanks mate. But that's not specifics ! I am looking for specifics an…

I don't care if u don't believe it or not. Why would I try to impress u if I am actually stating that despite that I have issues. There is nothing in it for me. I never claimed a 6 fig job btw and I said 6 languages while trying to learn spanish. So maybe it's u who needs to stop making stuff up and being so judgemental. Try and be helpful like the others or just leave.

Dude I feel you. I have seen girls say this over and over that they look for a great personality and then fall over and over for the tall handsome but dumb douche bag that cheats and lies to them all the time. (some of them even know that and still expect something different) They get duped and dumped only to go back and do that shit all over again. I am active in the dancing community and the Latinos (not stereotyping but only stating what I am seeing in my world) there do this shit with all th…

I actually didn't till like 4 years ago. But I am a different animal now ! Clothes tailored and a good decent professional haircut. I have some gut issues but I am getting better at working out. I wouldnt be able to do the amount of dancing I do if i wasnt fit per say. Yeah I am not muscly but fit but most people are shallow to realize that. Funny thing is even when I can dance quiet good, women who are taller than me usually start off taking me granted (belittling me that a small man cant lead)…

I dont ! People do ! And it used to bother me long ago but unfortunately I can only change my perception and not other people perception of me. Women are socially conditioned to go for the norms that the society assumes are "desirable". I still dont give a damm. My issues is escalation and connection. Have asked many a times questions related to that to get no answer here. e.g: I am a naturally easy going person and take things lightly making jokes all the while. I was told: That is Dancing Monk…

I have a great job and a great sense of humor (i can laugh and make people laugh), I travel a lot, speak multiple languages (6 and trying to learn Spanish), am an avid dancer in three distinct dance forms and instruct time to time, have good close friends, I play the guitar time to time and have dabbled with the ukulele as well, avid photographer although the dancing has put a dent in it. And I still find it hard to get girls ! I am 5'6" brown thin/average built guy in my mid 30s. And get almost…

Never did. It's a question that has time and again being dodged by everyone here.

It's easy to say that don't let it affect you. Most if not all of your interactions with women on a day to day basis are about your looks and ur status. Women are socially conditioned ! Even in the beauty and the beast, the girl falls for the guy for being himself only to be revealed he is a handsome prince. Women are conditioned by this thinking and hence u see almost all women go for the tall hunks time and again and then complain he is cheating on them or dumps them and then go again for the …

Deep conversations are a fantastic insight into a person but it has never gotten me laid. I almost always end up have such convos and then it goes no where.

And how exactly does one move ahead with seduction ? I hear this all the time here. But no one points out what's steps to take and what conversation to have in seduction.

Soemthing very similar happened to me a while ago. Give a girl the benefit of the doubt twice. On the third occasion if she does not offer to reschedule herself then next her. Be very clear. This forced girls who are either not interested or are on the fence to get real. Even if she says no and does not reschedule u stay out the friend zone in case things change later on.

Is he trying to say look for good in others while others ( who might no do the same ) will trample all over you ? Don't expect people (especially in a relationship) not to do anything even when u r trying to make things better? This is a recipe to get walked over all the time. Maybe u give them the benefit of doubt on occasion when they do not meet your expectations but if they keep doing the same shit and so not learn or improve , better leave them alone. Honest communication will go a long way…

Cool. I was asking more of a general question how u make clear u want only a casual affair.
/r/seduction23/08/16 03:38 PM

NO it wasn't. It might not matter to you but out in the real world it does matter ! Yes u can improve to a certain extent and leaving this mindset behind helps but if you are think that your outer looks, height and race do not matter, you are thoroughly mistaken. Sorry dude, I dont agree with it at all.

I am the opposite. I look very young. On another note. How do u make clear u want only a casual affair ?

Cool. What age are u and the girl ? I find it hard to game women over 25 as I am older myself. Also being big with a beard helped u out in someway ,? Looks don't seem to matter if u are tall. Being short is an issue certainly.

Looks maybe not so much. But what about height ?
