Great post. I recently started my first job out of college in the financial industry. I have been very happy and positive so far since I started, but damn man after reading your post I’m feeling lazy. I am very consistent at the gym and have time for my hobbies, but I’m only working 40 hours a week. I just feel like working 100+ hours a week, like you mentioned in a comment, would destroy my balance in life. Then again, maybe I just have a lazy mindset.

I would NOT define this as social anxiety. Real social anxiety would have had your head spinning, you probably would have felt lightheaded and had trouble breathing, and been on the verge of a panic attack. I’ve dealt with some true anxiety and also your situation. Which is good! Real anxiety blows, and thinking of what to say will be your last problem, most of your time is spent just trying to breathe. It just sounds like you’re a bit awkward, which is fine. Some people are awkward at some poin…

I am currently a 4th year chemical engineering student at a big school in the states. You can lift AND do school, trust me, I’ve been doing it all 4 years. Health should be a top priority of yours. This major will drain you like nothing else you have experienced, but you will get better at school pretty fast. If you have any questions, PM me!

Great to hear. I am in the position where you were and have started bulking the past few weeks. I'm 5 10" 155 and have been lifting for years, but I just don't look like it in every day clothing. Any tips?

Have been killing it at the gym. Am Vice President of my student organization which had its first event this week, and had a turnout of 160 people! Joined a second club for my hobby, and at the first meeting I was probably more social than I've ever been, at one point had a group of 8 girls hanging on my every word as I told stories. Just all around have FINALLY been beating my social anxiety and am learning to talk with everyone around me.

For me, I see my benefit in the range of 1-2 weeks for no fap. After that it's just too built up. But as many people have stressed in this community and what is really important, is NO PORN. That is where problems arise. You should fap when you god damn need to, and when you go cold turkey on porn you'll find that you don't god damn need to quite as often as you think.

They have those, they're called fraternities. Never joined one myself, but, you should look into that.

I'm 21 and haven't used Snapchat in maybe 10 months. Got out of an LTR about a month ago, and just never downloaded it again. Honestly I don't know if I'm putting myself at a disadvantage. I have been on a serious grind in improving myself in all aspects, and barely use any social media. I have become much more social in person and am making leaps and bounds in putting myself out there to all people, girls and guys. However, maybe I'm doing it wrong. Being on a large college campus, Snapchat is …

I've been thinking about this a lot recently. Last night, decided to go out to a bar with some friends but just not drink. I just ordered a water from the bar. Honestly, I just wasn't in a social mood to begin with, was tired, and don't think alcohol would have helped. But man, no one seemed to care. What helped was going in with the mindset like you're gonna drink, but just don't order the drink. I think the hardest part is that when you don't drink, there's a chance that you might not have an …

Thank you for this. I was pointing this argument towards people who are actively trying to find their mission and are trying to build something of value in their life. It sounds like you are at a point where you have found the things in life you value and a lifestyle you like. These are the things I have not experienced, which is why I want discussion on this!

He may have put himself in a bad situation, but when it came down to it he was completely willing to move on. I'm sure a lot of people here can get caught up in an LTR that seems good at first, only to have it end up like this. Everyone here is growing and learning and for him, this seemed like a huge positive step, which was to take himself out of a relationship where his goals were being hindered. Not perfect by a long shot, but better than most men would handle it.

You may be right, or you may have crossed a bit of a line, but either way, make sure you know this.

So I'm assuming you mean you are 16 years old in a LTR. Not that you have been in a LTR 16 years. If it's the former, then NEXTTTTT

I know people here may disagree, but see a therapist. Just talk through everything you're feeling about with them. Is it a bit "blue pill"? Maybe, but it'll make you feel better and for god sakes your paying them to listen to your problems and to not fucking tell anyone about it.

Try getting involved in a professional organization. Good grades are nice but it truly does become who you know not what you know, especially since everyone will have the perception "went to Yale, is smart". Also depending on your major, all A's is an unrealistic goal that will actually HURT your career options in indirect ways.

Ah yes, it's the perfect active date, I've been there. But I am glad you put your number 1 reason as "I like it".

YOU don't deserve to be spoken to like that. Seems like you lost this battle. Just got out of a relationship myself with a quality girl, and didn't have nearly this much drama and bullshit. So I can tell you it won't get better, I'm sorry.

Great to hear from a fellow landscape/cityscape photographer! DM me, I would really like seeing your work. Seems rare to find a red pill photographer, at least in my city.

My god. What a simple test and a short story to boil down basically everything about the nature of women we discuss on here. Bravo.

Damn, I don't know how some guys do it. Sex was great with her, but we were exclusive, I met her family, went on a trip or 2 together. I see some people say "demote her to a plate" in situations like this. But I just don't see how sleeping with an ex can do anything but create more problems in life. Ah well, to each his own!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
