You don't believe promiscuous women can do monogamy? But when I said the comments argued against pair bonding you said they and you were arguing against the OP post. But what I am saying is that you don't have to deny pair bonding to counter the post. So this makes me question your motives
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 07:52 PM

But did you eat grass?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 07:44 PM

Which one in particular posts you think are insane
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 07:42 PM

That doesn't sound like a pair bonding to me. I found a definition of pair bonding from a quick Google search "In summary, pair bonding is best defined as a selective and enduring relationship between two non-kin adults that often coincides with a monogamous mating system and a pair-living social organization. "https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/biochemistry-genetics-and-molecular-biology/pair-bonding#:~:text=In%20summary%2C%20pair%20bonding%20is,Behavior%20(Second%20Edition)%2C%202019 I actua…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 07:31 PM

Yes but the thing is you are projecting your beliefs around sex and relationship to be how humans are supposed to be. To me it feels like you women have an agenda? You could have just said promiscuous women get married and never cheat end of story. But no you have to debunk pair bonding, judge people for valuing sex as only as romantic activity, etc... all this makes me question your intentions here?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 07:25 PM

But y'all not correcting it you are instead projecting your personal beliefs. You want to be promiscuous and poly than fine but why is your lifestyle and beliefs about sex the only correct one?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 07:18 PM

Red Pill men, what are your opinions on the book Sex and Dawn and articles that tend to romantize female promiscuouity and paternal uncertainty?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 07:06 PM

So do you want humans to go back to promiscuouity and abolish paternal certainty?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 07:02 PM

The women and sex positive men in the comment sections are so weird. While I don't believe promiscuouity taints a women. I don't care for moralistic arguments such as these. But it's silly how these people go to the extra mile and claim that humans don't pair bond and trying to say humans should devalue sex. They also say women should lie about their body count too. Is this all these people can do? Why can't they just some men don't want to date promiscuous women and some men only sex as a roman…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 07:01 PM

If sex were to be davlued like you want it to be then we would not be monogamous
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 06:53 PM

Then what's the problem of men not wanting to date promiscuous women? Why deny pair bonding and devalue sex to argue against. Why go the extra mile?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 06:52 PM

I don't support the idea that promiscuous women are tainted either but to reduce monogamy as a choice is stupid. How humans mate is dependent on sociological and environmental factors. With that being said pair bonding is not dependent on woo-woo chemicals. They did experiment on Lemurs and Voles where they shut off the oxytocin and found out they still pair bonded. Humans can mate for life but we need to believe we can. If you encourage hook up culture and promiscuouity then of course you will …
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 06:51 PM

It's not obsession to defend ones preference. When men mock women's preferences doesn't that sort of pressure women to date men outside of their preferences which only causes distress
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 06:45 PM

But if sex is just an activity why make that sort of promise in the first place? Why do people restrict their sexual behavior with only each other is sex is meaningless?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 06:42 PM

It's not a separate issue but how did the agreement of not having sex with others come to be if sex is not valuable
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 06:33 PM

How is rejecting someone shaming them
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 06:32 PM

Do you really have to argue against pair bonding?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 06:28 PM

There is something wrong though, we don't conform to their societal standards of dating and sex
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 06:27 PM

If sex is just an activity then what's wrong with cheating?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 06:08 PM

Generally what makes a woman attractive to me is if I can see myself in her. She would have similar interests as me, share same values as me, and is not afraid of being weird. Empathy is also an important trait that I find as a green flag

Finally someone who knows what I am talking about. They want to change our society into those ones because they believe paternal uncertainty is a sign of women liberation.

If women valued paternity certainty the same way men do them there wouldn't be need for paternity testing. But lately women have become either apathetic to the idea or out right want to abolish it. I have read articles about tribal societies and the author often romanticizes their cultural norm of not knowing the biological father. I have talked people who worship books like sex at dawn and belief monogamy will go extinct in post patriarchal society. I think with all this in mind it's valid to b…

As a man I can offer you my perspective on the matter. I am not really redpill or hard core tradcon but I suppose I have traditional romantic values so I can maybe offer a slightly different perspective. Yes I do want to feel important and valued in a relationship as a man but I also believe women also have this same feeling. We both want to feel important to each other. We don't want single women to feel miserable but we ought to expect them to feel somewhat lonely without a romantic partner. L…

The issue is with other women who post trap pics while being in a relationship where they would not be comfortable with their men following thirst traps online
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 06:16 PM

That's the root of the argument though if you guys don't like your men following women posting thirst traps than you shouldn't be posting thirst traps yourself
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 05:43 PM

I doubt that since women do post thirst trap pics and it's becoming normalized. In that case y'all should be ok with us men following other women posting thirst traps online.

We are talking about mens prefrence, boundaries, or insecurities. But I think it's worth exploring why women feel the need to seek male validation in a monogamous relationship? What are the cultural factors influencing these behavior and attitude in women?

But it's important to ask why does she need to do that to feel sexy why does she need the sexual attention of horny men on Internet to feel sexy when she already has a boyfriend? But ignoring the question for now, men are called insecure for wanting to break up with these women or not wanting to date these women. But I agree with you that boundaries need to be communicated and we should not control the behaviors of others
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/23 08:26 PM

I can speak for all traditional men and women but when I say traditional I guess I mean it differently than most. If I were to give my ideology a name it would be something like principally romantic. I would want my partner to be traditionally feminine like wearing skirts and heels. Also we should both want to ma…

I appreciate this long written response as it shows you are thinking deeply about this topic. As much as I don't like social pressures that go against my value I don't look at this from a liberal perspective which focuses on free choice without judgment. I look at it from a sociological perspective in which capitalism must be taken into account to explain current dating phenomena. The traditional romantic courting culture was never fully actualizes in the past as people claim. Yes women were exp…

Yeah that's my personal impression at least in online spaces. When young couples post in relationship advice the first thing people comment saying the problem is that you are young so break and enjoy life over silly little problem. I am going to go off tangent and talk about the comment section here for a second. I think the people here are biased liberals who project their social narrative of lost 20 year olds needing social variety and find their place in life before partaking in relationship. Nothing immoral about this but projecting this as how everyone is and how things should be is incorrect. As I mentioned earlier my friends defy this narrative. My counter arguments is that not everyone wants to have fun like you said. Not everyone finds dating fun. Some people find relationships more fun than dating. Some people don't like clubbing, traveling, and partying. Why aren't we talked about in these kinds of discussions

Yeah sure some people but not everyone is like that and that should be ok. Not everyone is this lost soul looking to find their identity or calling. We are social animals at the end of the they, we don't need to be alone if we don't. I have always lived with either parents or friends.

It depends what we define traditional, when I use that word I mean women who don't engage in hook up culture and living hedonistic life style. No hedonism and asceticism are not the only way to live life, eudaimonia exists. I am not sure I actually want to call myself traditional I wish there was an ideology that captures my belief. You might have done something to trigger him though. People don't get angry for no reason at all. It might have triggered a trauma or something similar. People have right to feel angry. The anger is not what disturbs it's the behavior. They can either raise their voice and act violent or communicate that you made them angry and they need break. You may not intentionally made them angry but it still triggered emotions with them though.

Because having the same values regarding to sex is important to sexuality. It's just people are scared that outliers mean the end of norms. It doesn't help there are theories out there that maintain that social norms will disappear all together. Mainly postmodern and queer theory have this idea. We just have to educate people that outliers doesn't actually disapprove social norms. But all together we need to look at things from a sociological perspective as opposed to individualistic perspective.

I can give my personal opinion. They kind of women we tend to avoid or talk about are the sex positive women. The alternative women we prefer is really just a women who isn't sex positive. I don't mind egalitarian relationship personally it's really just the ideology of sex that's important when it comes to romantic relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/23 05:51 PM

I don't buy the whole it's both nature and nurture argument, I believe it's a cop out from exploring sociological factors. I believe nurture has bigger influence on shaping human behavior. Even in animals external factors seems to have greater influence on their behavior.
