Sound money just means money with something backing it. Not fiat money. Fractional reserve banking, printing press, the discount window, it’s all ways of creating more currency artificially, with no actual production of value. I think you’ve set up a false dichotomy. There is an option that includes little or no depressions, and that option is sound money, backed by metals, and no fractional reserve banking (or any other breach of contract/fraud).

Right. That’s covered in the creature from Jekyll island too. It basically is a history book (even covers early monetary history like Rome, pre revolution colonies etc) the problem is fiat, or not sound, money. The fed simply lets banks get away with fractional reserve banking, a fun twist on fiat. How is there ever a banking crisis if banks never lent more money than they had? The whole thrust of the book is that the fed only has a purpose because of fractional reserve banking. And pumping more currency into circulation doesn’t fix anything, just kicks the can down the road.

Careful with this. The catch isn't that girls don't know what they want (at least when it comes to attraction). I disagree. As I said, it works at every point in the process. If she's already attracted to you, eye contact is gonna make her want to jump you (the good kind.) If she isn't attracted to you yet, eye contact is gonna first of all make her curious (which is one of the best things you can do) and second is a pretty clear sign of confidence (notice that if you meet eyes, she'll look away pretty quickly)

Never underestimate eye contact. It took awhile for me to figure out what all the fuss was about, but it's way more effective with girls then you probably think. Definitely hilarious. Of course he takes care in his appearance, smiles, is confident, yada yada yada, which is why it really works. source? I don't have a very hard time believing pretty much all of the book. I've also seen interviews with Neil Strauss and Mystery and they seem pretty true to the book. Sure, Strauss's ego is probably involved, but I would say the events of the book seem completely plausible.
