The bluepill advice is that you have to communicate clearly with her that your needs aren't being met. You need to express what they are, why they aren't being met, and why you can't continue this relationship if you don't have your needs met. BP doesn't say stay in unhappy relationships. It has a problem with trp because it sees men deliberately taking steps to be more manipulative. If you're unhappy, do the grown-up thing and just leave. I think you should try to compromise and patch up the re…

Not the OP but I think what he/she was getting at is how progressives and conservatives clash over this issue. I think that while progressives probably have no issue with childfree couples, I think some religious conservatives, which some of TRP are, would have a problem. So I guess it relates based on the whole TBP is more progressive than TRP. That said, my two cents is that some people, mostly the religious conservatives, become upset with childfree people because these religious people think…

I agree. I think this is the most accurate analysis of the of the study. It's important to realize that there are distinct differences like the article said, but we are all still humans and we have the same brain. It's why I can't take red pill seriously when they say females have inferior brains. I mean just read the article, it says it right there: "there's no such thing as a distinctly "male" or "female" brain."

I just want to thank you for fighting for those victims. They really need a voice and it's unfortunate that in our society people tend to forget that it is difficult for victims of DV to get the representation that they need. Keep it up :)

The fact that you didn't know that, despite being pretty strongly SJW is one reason some people are accusing you of being a troll. I did not realize until today that there is a difference. And for the record, in my school newspaper there was a column written by someone who I know is in my gender studies class. She used the words "colored people." Not "people of color." She used those words and no one was mad at her. This is the first I am hearing of there being a difference between those two phr…

that is so alien to my experience as a gen x woman, i have to imagine that like the rest of the weirdnes on reddit, this is occuring among asians What in the hell does race have to do with discussions about periods on TwoXChromsomes. This is absurd.

What are you talking about? I genuinely don't understand how cracker is supposed to be a racist insult? What are you referring to?

lol true.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/15 10:50 PM

A cracker? How is that racist? It's weird. If a white person were to call a black person a cookie that wouldn't be interpreted as racist, that would simply be interpreted as weird.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/15 10:48 PM
1

Get good grades, learn a skill, make some money, stay off drugs = live a happy life. Too many black people refuse to do these things and instead do the exact opposite, then bitch about persecution. Some of us are just tired of hearing it. I agree with this but not because they do it on purpose. I think the broken families are a cause of this, and that's where we need to step in to help them. I don't think blacks consciously try to do the exact opposite, I think they try, fail because of society,…

Well, for one thing, you know very well that "people of color" is currently considered to be a politically correct term for minorities by the people who advocate such things, and "colored people" is a term that was used exclusively by racists in the 40s and 50s to enforce Jim Crow I honestly didn't know this. I thought they meant the same thing in the 50s, a racist term, and today, a term for minorities.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/15 10:44 PM

What is the difference? I know people of color is used more but I thought there isn't much of a difference.

I'm really sad you see it that way. I am not interested in "scoring points" at all, I really want to help minorities overcome injustices, and I know that there are many others like me. But to be fair, I think you're right, there are some bad apples among us, and I really wish that would change.

I am definitely not a redpiller. I identify as a strong independent feminist blue pill woman, but because that sounds trollish for whatever reason, I like to call myself a blue pill feminist woman. And yes I fight for social justice for all, including COLORED people. Jesus. So much backlash in this thread. Colored includes blacks, hispanics, etc while blacks just includes blacks. There is a reason why person of color is the more appropriate term.

Ok, fine, I agree with you, but I odn't understand why it's ok for Jon to say "colored" to Jon's audience whereas outside of his audience you can't. It seems weird. How come you cna say one thing one place and not at another place?

If her sexual fantasies make you uncomfortable, you should say "Honey I'm your mother and I'll always be here for you, and you should never feel shy about talking about sex with me, but it makes me uncomfortable to hear about your sex fantasies in graphic detail. What are you talking about? Mother daughter relationships in which the mother talked to her daughter about sex have always been aroudn
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/15 02:39 PM
-1

No its not but if you shut her down when she first comes to you about having a threesome, she'll feel that you're being prudish and WON'T come to you about the things that could endanger her life. It's an issue about trust, openness, and sex positivity. If you show that you aren't open and sex positive, she won't feel like she can trust you with intimate details about herself. This is so important in a mother-daughter relationship, I can't believe you're not seeing this.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/15 02:31 PM

I seriously don't understand why you think this is funny. Suppose that your daughter is in an abusive relationship. Do you not want her to tell you? Do you not want to be able to help her? What if she has a yeast infection and doesn't know what it is? What if instead of spending money to go to the doctor, she wants to first talk to her mom about it, who may know more about what's going on down there? Will you tell her at that point, "that's nice dear go talk to your girlfriends." I don't underst…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/15 02:27 PM

I strongly disagree, this is not a sex-positive message at all. You should be totally comfortable talking to your daughter about sex and teaching her about how to empower herself through it. Also, i fyou shut her down like this, imagine the consequences. She'll never feel comfortable talking to you about sex again. Let's say she gets in an abusive relationship. Do you not want her to tell you about it?

She is right that a privileged person cannot be abused. White privilege is a real thing. There are some ridiculous ideas out there, like reverse racism (the concept that colored people can be racist against Whites). Absolute rubbish. But that doesn't mean you go out and say let's kill all white men. That's not right. At least don't make it a public comment ;)
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/15 02:40 PM

This statement is obviously unacceptable. You can't just make a statement publicly about killing a group of people. I do understand where she's coming from with white privilege and all but you can't just say let's kill everyone. That's no better than Hitler.

Sigh not all women are like this. Of course I like it when a hot guy flirts with me but I'm not going to want to punch a "beta" as you put it if he compliments me. I do appreciate compliments from men, even those I have no plans to date.

Patriarchy itself is not oppression. Patriarchy is a type of society in which men are dominant. The consequences of patriarchy, e.g. women not voting, are oppression. Hope this clarifies.

It is so patriarchally oppressive that women are expected to take a man's last name. Ok, no. This has got to stop. You can't just label everything as oppression because then the word oppression becomes meaningless. Keep the husband's last name was tradition. A patriarchal tradition. Am I excusing it? Of course not. The patriarchy, instilled and enforced by men, is what caused women to be forced into giving up their maiden name. It wasn't so much oppression as it was the culture. The real oppress…

What are your thoughts on women keeping their last name when getting married? Is it a red flag if she does? Is it a sign of liberation? It is a sign that we have made progress thanks to feminism. The fact that women are allowed to make this decision speaks volumes about how much progress society has made. The fact that so many people struggle to comprehend that a woman may want to keep her own surname instead of taking her husbands speaks volumes about how much further we need to progress as a s…

Actually, that isn't oppression. Now you've got to be trolling. I don't think it was done intentionally. It just shows how prevalent patriarchal thinking is. I am guilty of it as well. I didn't realize that the AC was set to make it better for men! I thought the AC wasn't that big of an issue until the study was done.

Yes exactly, I am glad to see this. What RP doesn't realize is that whether or not they believe the wage gap exists or not, women have a harder time in the workplace. Their is ingrained sexism present because of the belief that men should be in the workforce and not women. Not everyone shares this view, but this patriarchal sexist view is still there. The most recent example of this was the AC fiasco. AC is set so that men are the most comfortable. Why can't we have set so that it accommodates w…

I would have banned forever ago because I identify as a strong indepedent feminist blue pill woman? Tumblr was right then. Reddit really is misogynistic. Feminism is one of the best things to have happened in the 21st century. I stand by my belief, and maybe some other BPW won't say it because they don't want to be called trolls, but I promise you so many women on this sub agree with me. The difference is that the patriarchy and men have marginalized women's voices and opinions for the greater part of history. The opposite isn't true. That's why you can't discount feminists with the excuse that they're biased.

The only Indian guy I ever dated I dropped like a penny in a wishing well because of his personality, not because he was Indian. He kept trying to woo me by talking about how much money he had and all the expensive stuff he had. I don't care that you have a BMW or a nice TV or a nice computer. Ugh good for you sister. That is such a turn off. White guys do it too, it's not an Indian problem. I'm glad you made that distinction.

I can understand. I'm white as well, and honestly I've never really found that many Indian guys attractive. I never realized this was like a big deal. They are much more outwardly sexist. I agree with this. Indian men, this isn't the 15th century. Once you modernize we'll be more receptive.

Pretty obvious how the media screws us. Raj from Big Bang, Abed from community. We don't exactly get the cool, suave, star athlete supermodel characters in TV and Movies. You say its more difficult. Do you think tht's more of cultural thing, or is it just a bias by White women? How does the media screw you? the absurd amount of horniness and thirst of 99% of indian guys. Indian guys are more horny than White guys?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/15 02:33 PM

But why?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/15 02:32 PM

Also, it totally sucks that white women treat you as lower SMV than a guy who would be in your league were you both the same race. Where are people getting this? Serious question, I'm trying to understand.

How does this answer my question?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/15 02:31 PM

Ok, so let me ask you, who isn't even an mod and can't even speak officially for the subreddit, who is purely speculating, why did I get banned according to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/15 02:30 PM

First of all, how would you even know? You're not a mod. Second of all, I was. You can read my comment history if you want. It's been a while, but I remember it clearly. There was some discussion going on about male suicide, and I asked how it is my fault if I choose to work a job and men commit suicide because they can't handle that fact. Yeah, it may not have been super nice and demure which is what rPW wants, but it was an honest sentiment, and it got me banned.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/15 02:00 PM
1

A hardcore show? What do you mean?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/15 01:48 PM

How am I patronizing? I really do want to understand RPW. There's a reason I wanted to participate on it. I believed in the message that it's important to be a good girlfriend and I was excited to find a community that talks about that. I still believe that. It's just there are some things I can't get behind about it, like how I was banned for saying I want to work a job (which doesn't even make sense because some of the rpw mods admit to having jobs so like wtf.) I think the TRP subreddit dehum…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/15 01:47 PM

I don't understand your comment. Are you saying they wouldn't want to share their opinions because the RP ideology prohibits women from doing so?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/15 01:06 AM

Now all I need is for /u/Atlas_B_Shruggin to tell me where I can get my alpha fucks too ;). I'm sure she must have some experience, she does NOT seem like a sweet innocent girl at all hehe.......
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/15 08:55 PM

Why not? I want to hear their opinions on a lot of topics. I think they offer an opinion that you can't get anywhere else. It's very hard to find women willing to accept a ideology that almost dehumanizes them.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/15 08:37 PM

Encourage more RPW to post here. They're just so shy.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/15 04:27 PM

Which ones? I need to know where to go to get my free beta bucks ;)
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/15 04:16 PM

Serious question, do you feel like white girls give Indian guys a hard time? You seem really open to supporting interracial relationships. I respect that. A common complaint that TRPers make is that (liberal) white women say that they are in support of interracial dating and marriage but in reality despise dating or marrying anyone outside their own race. Do you think there is any truth to what TRP says. You say you've dated Indian men, but can you say the same of your white girl friends? Maybe …

I question how accurate this is if you're bsing your own assumptions based on your own experiences. You could have confirmation bias. That said, my advice for you is to be happy. At the end of the day, that's what matters. I can understand that you may not want to be second best, but you need to question is it better for you to not accept the woman for who she is and be alone or accept her and get past your insecurites.

I don't think TRP is good sex education for boys. There are problems with sex education in America, particularly the push from the right for abstinence-only education, but replacing that with a misogynistic worldview is not the solution.

I agree completely. I think the mods need to take some swift action. /u/cuittler I saw you commenting down elsewhere in this thread. Do you have some concrete ideas on reducing RP participation? It's getting out of hand.

There is no difference... I mean I guess if you really wanted to you could say that women could be sexist to men but I hightly doubt it.

He wasn't being genuine when he was being open and honest. He was tricking her into believing that later on she could get a relationship with him. Guys do this.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/15 09:16 PM

Ok I read that, and I can totally understand the outrage. That isn't advice on being nice to your man. That is advice about how to drop what your doing and act like a subservient maid for him. It's dehumanizing and even misogynistic towards women. They are not just nice things to do for your man. It is old fashioned advice that involves putting a woman down and making her feel unimportant.

I am apologetic to women, yes, because she is being deceived. I'm not being accusatory toward men. Reading PPD and TRP has opened my eyes that this is what men are like. Tumblr is right.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/15 08:43 PM
0

But they are making their own decisions thinking those men are genuine, when in fact they are using PUA/TRP to deceive those women. That's why it's not her fault.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/15 08:43 PM
1

But see, where did that idea come from? Was it truly an organic idea, or did it come across because of how society forced her to worry about how she would be viewed amongst her peers? This is why we need feminism. To teach women that it's ok to make their own decisions and that they are not at fault for manipulative men who are able to coerce and seduce women.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/15 06:58 PM
1

Definitely apologetic. I've been in that girls shoes. Too many times. I wish I was more mature and realized how vicious and evil men can be when it comes to manipulating women for sex like that. I wish I had seen the red flags. I wish I had been able to recognize that he wasn't even that hot anyways. But you know, it's not really our faults. We're so convinced by the media that it's ok to sexually explore ourselves with gusy on campus that whatever consequences there are to it aren't really real…

/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/15 12:26 AM

You know what, this is a good thing. It means women are free to make their own choices about sex and explore their sexuality the way they want. This is important. If TRP men are upset about this or insecure about it, it doesn't change the fact that it's a good thing for women to have freedom of their bodies.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/15 08:20 PM
2

This is wrong advice imo. What if she doesn't want to dye her hair? Who does he think he is demanding that she change her appearance for him? This is unhealthy in a relationship. As a blonde, I would never dye my hair to look like a brunette if a SO asked me to.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/15 04:07 PM
0

What are you basing this off of? I am promiscuous and I enjoy it. Are you speaking from your own experience? If so, can you describe it more? I really think this difference between us is interesting.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/15 03:47 AM
2

You are twisting my words. I said it would have been nice if she helped him.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/15 09:53 PM
2

I think it would have been nice if the woman helped out the man in the above situation, but I agree that it would be creepy and weird as fuck if a man asked to drink out of a garden hose. I also believe that people do have a moral duty to help others. It is a moral thing to do. Also I'm pretty sure that there is some kind of law that says people can't just walk away from the scene of a murder or rape.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/15 09:15 PM
1

??? What are you talking about? I'm completely serious. What is wrong with asking men and women to help women that are victim of rape?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/15 08:38 PM

Yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/15 04:50 PM

Yes of course he's overreacting. Think about how the woman feels. She sees a strange man asking to take a drink of water out of a hose. Of course it's weird as fuck and creepy. Just because YOU acted creepy doesn't mean tht you get to bring "justice" to all women by not helping a woman when she's being raped. Jesus christ.

I'm not saying we should be trying to jail innocent men, I'm saying that it may happen along the way. It's no different than saying innocent women may get raped walking alone at night because of the rape culture we live in.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/15 08:30 PM
1

Of course! I think it's really great when a man shows that he can be emotional. Why do you think in female erotica and romance novels the hero almost always has some "dark past"and he gets "healed" by the woman after opening up? It's pretty hot. If women don't care about men's feelings why is this so common in romance novels that target the female audience ? Women do care about men's feelings.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/15 08:11 PM
-7

Yes of course. We need to as a society show the world that we do not tolerate rape culture. It doesn't matter if you were raped yesterday or 10 years ago, you should report him and put that man in jail. Even if you were not sure you were raped, report it anyway. It's a bummer that some innocent men get locked away but it's a price we need to pay to end rape culture.

Marriage is a patriarchal constraint that is used to bound a woman's sexuality. It always has been. That's why allowing her to explore her sexuality is a pro-feminist action. However, given that most men cheat, the reverse scenario wouldn't be feminist at all. Chances are in the reverse he is tricking her into being able to sleep around with whoever he wants, whereas when she gets to do it she really is being open to a feminist marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/15 04:33 PM

This is an amazing story to read. Yes, this is what a true male feminist looks like. Bravo to him. He is allowing his wife to explore her sexuality free of all patriarchal constraints. This man has my gratitude. If you were okay with the above exchange, now pretend everything above was written from the point of view of a wife whose husband came home one day, admitted to kissing another woman, and then was allowed to have sex with other women while the wife took care of the kids at home. The wife…

/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/15 07:38 PM

I'm not asking for anyone to protect me. I'm not asking for people to feel bad for me. I'm just making it known that I vocally disagree with a lot of red pill. IMO Beating women is just as bad as raping them, dread game, murder, etc. Any form of manipulation or violence against women should be outlawed against women. That said, I don't see why they'd censor beating women and nothing else. My point still stands. /u/Atlas_B_Shruggin's story doesn't make sense ...
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/15 03:17 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/15 03:12 AM

/u/Atlas_B_Shruggin story doesn't make much sense. If an adored icon (an EC or mod?) is talking about beating women, then of course TRP endorses it. Which doesn't make sense if TRP is talking about banning it. Something doesn't add up. Either the story is false or beating women is allowed on TRP.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/15 03:11 AM

So you agree that short and ugly men are unattractive. Good. The wording implied that personality was everything and looks was an afterthought. Just checking.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/15 06:35 PM

Women are going to be attracted to a great personality almost regardless of looks. As a woman, I disagree. Looks matter. No short or ugly men. Do you disagree?

This thread is about both. That's why I mentioned long-term things. Look man here's my advice to you. It's ok to be a bit beta. I've analzyed my past relationships, and I think the key is that as a man you should be alpha. Alpha traits are good: muscular, confident, and honestly being kind of a dick is good. It spices things up and doesn't make you seem boring. But beta traits are good too. What I listed is good. Don't get hung up on AF/BB and try to be some amazing alpha male. Just be a normal …

/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/15 03:27 AM

So the solution is for women to marry guys they don't like? Were you an omega growing up? Is that why you feel sympathy for them? I mean even trp hates on omegas and betas.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/15 03:26 AM

If you're a man you may have trouble understanding, but it's really sexy to women (I'm generalizing but bear with me here) when you see man do something, anything really, really really well. She definitely seems to have a fetish for virgin gusy, but that's okay. I'd date a virgin so long as he was honest about it and didn't lie about who he is. The key is communication.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/15 12:03 AM
1

Ahhhh that makes a lot more sense. I think you're missing out tbh but I honestly do respect your decision. I think there are like minded men out there, but it's going to be hard. Don't date a virgin neckbeard lonely guy who isn't even attractive just because he's a virgin. My 2 cents.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/15 11:26 PM

Just curious are you a virgin too? Or do you just have a kink for virgin guys? Not judging, I really find this cool.

Thankfully I have not had the misfortune of being negged, but I know someone who has. If possible, I'd like /u/happilysinglewoman to chime in because I know she's had to experience this.

Interesing. I'm totally okay with having preferences, to each her own, but I find it interesting that you specifically want virgin men instead of low-parter count men. I'd love for you to explain this to me a bit more because it fascinates me.

Must be attractive, have money, and a good personality. Attractive: should be a no-brainer. I'm really thankful I found rpw because of this. I had a history of dating guys that I wasn't really feeling it for, but one thing I learned from rpw is that you should only be with a guy if you're really attracted to him. I know I've angered the community, but I just want to say thank you to them for this. Ever since I've made a strict rule to only date men 6' or taller that are musuclar (my type of guys…

I think girls should give video games a chance. I think it's a good way to bond with men since a lot of them play video games. That's not to say that you should go and date the nerds. I would never get with a man whose entire life is video games but it can be fun to play with your SO.

I'm opening this up to get other people's thoughts. Besides, if I post what I say, trp is just going to accuse me of being a brainless person and downvote me and move on. I want to try and actually help men.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/15 08:32 PM
3

Wtf. Of course negging is a thing. There are BP women who have been negged and hated it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/15 08:32 PM
3

This is exactly the type of comment I didn't want. Cut the snark. There is misogyny in trp, you can't deny it. Do you have any constructive advice for men that does not involve "negging" or manipulation? Because as a feminist, I support self-improvement for men, REAL self-improvement, not this bullshit of learning to how be abusive.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/15 08:18 PM
3

I know I said women but I'm ok with men commenting, I want this to be gender inclusive. I just don't want a bunch of terps coming in here and mansplaining about how all non-trp advice is bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/15 08:14 PM
3

Having a past that's... Rather full of interesting experiences and horrible decisions, I know that it's within a man's rights to not want to commit to someone like me, and that doesn't necessarily make him an asshole. This screams internalized misogyny to me.

I wanted to a be a member but like my first comment, in which I said I wanted to work and have a job, got me banned. So I can't support them fully. My problem with them is their hypocrisy. They say that they don't want to be a safe space for women, and then they ban men. They say that you shouldn't sleep around, but I've heard through the grapevine that some of the regulars there have slutty past…

Its not a lifestyle, its a mindset towards one's spouse and relationship. Wait what. This doesn't make sense. I thought the mindset toward's one spouse and relationship that you're describing is that of a feminine, traditional lifestyle. but it's not a moral system full of "shoulds". Is this the whole sexual strategy is amoral bit?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/15 04:15 PM

But the thing is there are plenty of nice women out there. They are invisible to terpers because they are chasing after the hot women. Hot women go after hot guys. You just have to deal with it. And I honestly don't buy this whole 80/20 idea, that most men get no sex. It seems like bullshit. Plenty of people at college have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/15 03:18 PM

I'm really happy to see this. Finally proof of real progress for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/15 02:59 AM

This is a really good response to the OP with a minor change. Now , if some couples are happy being unequal , good for them , it's none of our business . It is our business. Women in third world countries are oppressed and not given autonomy. We should try to help them. If only after achieving equality they want to be treated inferiorly then all we can do is sigh and abandon them.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 04:45 PM
4

I think that TRP believes that there is such a thing as equality, but doesn't want it. I think a lot of RP males genuinely believing that a dominant male and a submissive woman is the only way for their to be a healthy relationship, and that is where I think the problem arises. Here's the thing. You said that "there is no 'equal' relationship dynamic." Is this what RPers want? Yes. No one's arguing that. Even if this is true (which it isn't), it doesn't mean you can't strive to achieve equality.…

Definitely men.

Explain how it is political movement. Feminists want ethics in gaming journalism, to end rape culture, and fight for equal pay. These are social issues, not political ones.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 09:51 PM
2

So, given that RPers believed that "feminism has infected the government," do you believe that it is a problem that has interesected the government? Or do you believe that it's a social movement that doesn't have a political agenda, which it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 08:59 PM
1

Do you stream leagueoflegends as well?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/15 08:11 PM

See I don't view it as that. I don't think it's them viewing women as precious and protecting them from male gaze. I think they want those women to not explore their own beauty by having freedom to decide what to wear. I bet if you ask any RPW they'd agree that it would be oppressive for them to not be able to choose what to wear. Hell half of that sub is all about buying skirts and dresses.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/15 02:43 AM
1

That is twisted logic imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/15 01:58 AM

It is very misogynistic. Women are forced to cover up in black overalls. They can't drive in Saudi Arabia. Girls are married off at age 14. How do you not see misogyny?

I'm confused. You say you're RP, but then you post these comments, and you make fun of RP. This entire thread is basically a circlejerk. Are you sure you're not BP? There's nothing wrong with that. It's better.

Or that we were scouring the interwebs to find a place where we could get all misogynisty and angry and stroke the justice boner? This is pretty accurate imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/15 04:53 PM
1

What do you mean?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/15 05:00 AM
1

Doesn't matter. If in your head you think of someone as lesser, that shows you are prejudiced against that person. In this case, it would be misogyny, even if she was MORE attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/15 10:18 PM
-1

Let's break this down. If you think you're the prize, then you think that she isn't. That is, you think she is lesser than you because nothing can be greater than the prize. Thinking of a woman as lesser is misogynistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/15 02:20 PM
-1

Yes of course wtf how is htis even a question. If you saw a murder happening, should you try stopping it?

I hate RP opinions and it's heavily upvoted. Meanwhile I post that I think there should be enough homeless shelters for all men and women, and I get downvoted. This is one big rp circlejerk.

-2

I need medication for pointing out hypocrisy. Thanks!
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/15 09:37 PM

If reddit was a safe space as TRP believes then rpw wouldn't need to have a mod post about how they don't want mrp commenting. The fact that wingnut made a post shows her hypocrisy. She doesn't believe reddit to be a safe space, which is true, it's not, there is rampant misogyny, and that she believes rpw needs to be made into one.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/15 08:35 PM

I didn't say men's clubs are not ok. I said women's clubs are needed. Two different things. But yes please call me a sexist, you're the one that's crazy.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/15 08:33 PM
-3

So it just so happens that most people who post bad content are men? Specifically, men from the MRP sub? Specifically, men from the MRP sub that RPW would dislike because MRP mods have been banning RPW? Yea...... sure.......
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/15 07:46 PM
-5

And RPW say they agree with TRP.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/15 07:46 PM
-6

They don't say they want female safe spaces, their actions show that they want female safe spaces. Isn't this like the motto of trp? Don't listen to what women say, watch what they do? WELL THEN RPW, I'm watching what you do! Just like you told me to! And the results are very telling!
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/15 07:45 PM
-3

First, this has nothing to do with askwomen. They are a separate sub that functions differently. Second, if you read the linked thread, and the thread on MRP about this, the rpw are targeting male posters because they want rpw to have mainly women speaking.

From the sidebar: This is a spot for like-minded Women to objectively and realistically discuss sexual strategy from an anti-feminist, non-feminist, traditionalist and/or evolutionary psychology perspective. This whole thread with 900+ upvotes goes on and on about how much trp hates safe spaces
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/15 07:31 PM
-2

Cool, so explain how rpw is not an anti-feminist safe space? You guys don't like trigger warnings, fine, but don't pretend that the mods don't get together and chat on the IRC and collectively decide to censor/remove posts they don't like. Or, sometimes they all decide on responding to a post in a certain way so that they set a narrative. I've been PMing quite a few people and learning more and more about the hypocrisy of rpw.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/15 07:28 PM
-5

The biggest thing I don't get is how rp does shit like this, I point it out, and then I get downvoted and called a troll. Like wtf. Am I supposed to show cognitive dissonance to be taken seriously? Is that how reddit works? If so, it explains why I suck at it. Tumblr makes a lot more sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/15 07:25 PM
-1

Female safe space is a place where women can talk in the presence of other women. By banning men who post on mrp, that's exactly what they are making it, a female safe space. If rpw want to call other rpw cunts, more power to them, and I don't exactly disagree with it, but tht doesn't mean that it is not a safe space.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/15 07:21 PM
0

One of TRPs tenets is that there shouldn't be female safe spaces and rpw say that they agree with TRP. Are you saying you read wingnut's post and then think to yourself that she isn't being hypocrtical at all? I suggest you talk to her, but I guess that won't help since you're more likely to agree with her and call me a troll anyways.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/15 07:19 PM
-5

TRP and RPW keep going on and on about how there's no need for female safe spaces, "the entire world" is a female safe space, and other bullshit like that. And then rpw mods do a 180 and ask for a safe space. What a joke. AND SOMEHOW everyone thinks I'm the troll. Give me a break.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/15 07:16 PM

Look at the gender gap in STEM jobs. Is that not indicative of an advantage men have? What about the fact that men are valued for their accomplishments, while women are objectified constantly (I'm referring to Jon Stewarts bit on Caitlyn Jenner coming out).

Yeah okay but its terpers who say that things like #18, #19, and #22 are beta and are not sexually attractive to women. You can't have it both ways. You can't complain that you're not allowed to do these things and then say that we shouldn't be doing them in the first place because it isn't what women find attractive. You're trying to have your cake and eat it too.

Ok that was very long and I didn't have time to go through all of it. Despite people getting mad at me in my thread about it, I do not think Paul is definitely a rapist who should die in hell. I said we simply don't know. That said, coming to your article, I think what you're doing is taking an exmaple--one in which we don't know with certainy if rape occurred or not--and using that to say that look we should be trivializing the importance of campus rapes. Towards the end of the post you bold a …

I never said that Paul was guilty. Ctrl F my comments. I NEVER said that. I just said we don't know with 100% certainty what happened, and people are downvoting me for that. Yes, the texts are damning. Yeah, she may not have been raped. But we don't know anything with 100% certainty. Is that so hard to accept?

Not necessarily. Like, I don't think Paul should be imprisoned if there isn't evidence. But at the same time, just because there's no evidence doesn't mean Emma isn't a victim. Does that make sense?

Just realized I forgot to post my response. While it is true that Paul was cleared of wrongdoing, and that the texts look bad, the simple fact is we don't know 100% for sure what happened. She could have been a victim of a horrible, horrible crime that no woman, regardless of age, sexual orientation, race, socioeconomic class, or pill color should experience. I sincerely hope that /r/RedPillWomen can agree with /r/TheBluePill on that or otherwise I think I need to post a whole new thread. I thin…

I can't agree with this.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/15 04:12 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/15 04:12 PM

I'm a woman. I'm not trolling. I'm interested in his gender to see if he's a man who believes that or a woman who believes that. Just curious.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/15 04:11 PM
-2

Why is is a troll comment to say that if a rapist is set free he will go on to rape some more? You do realize that most rapes are committed by just a few serial rapists right?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/15 04:10 PM
-6

I'm not a troll. Misogyny is very real, especially in TRP, and we need trigger warnings so that people don't have to relive past experiences.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/15 04:10 PM
-10

Well, I'm wondering why that's so personal for /u/LamiaQueen . It seems I struck a nerve and I didn't mean to. She's free to share though. Getting things off your chest is a really healthy way to deal with your emotions.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/15 04:02 PM
-4

I like the sound of this but the problem is that even if someone is cleared of wrongdoing, we don't know for sure if he did commit a crime or not, like in this case.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/15 04:02 PM
-12

Holy shit really. Letting a rapist go free is MUCH worse. That man can go on to commit more and more rapes. If an innocent is imprisoned, he has a lwayer and can argue in court for his release. Meanwhile the rapist keeps perpetuating rape culture.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/15 04:01 PM
-10

IIRC the police cleared the guy from any wrongdoing right? How do we not know that there was no evidence instead of him not actually being the perpetrator?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/15 03:57 PM
-7

I agree that this is a wtich hunt, but if we don't take the side of the accuser, what's the alternative? We risk letting actual rapists walk if we don't believe the accuser.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/15 03:56 PM

I find it hard to believe that "the best men," like congressmen, CEOs, and others are getting harems. Most people in upper-class society are married. You say it isn't legal, so that implies that they are married but have mistresses on the side. Do you think their wives know this and are okay with it?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/15 02:57 PM

Yes of course I just don't understand what you meant by this comment. I'd like you to explain. People always keep accusing me of being some idiotic troll and I'm not. Are you a man or a woman? You say this as if the best men today are getting harems, but polygamy is not legal in most parts of the world. Also, you're implying that every man wants harems of "the best women." Do you not think that maybe there are some men that only want monogamy?

I don't think you would be suggesting that she try men if she had said that she was gay. I absolutely would. I think our society is heteronormative and doesn't encourage people to try different things. I think there is nothing with wrong with trying new things, and if you read the comments, after I asked some people if they've tried experimenting, some have told me that they did and it didn't go so well. I'm not telling those people that they have to be bi.

It's an important distinction because free of men we don't feel pressured to act a certain way or talk in a certain way.

It has to do with how this thread is a thread full of women's responses to the OP? I think I'm confused. What are you getting at?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/15 03:31 AM
0

And that's okay if you're private about. It's just that I feel it's an opportunity to grow and empower yourself by sharing, as many other women did. If you don't want to that's okay I'm not going to force you. I'm not a man that's going about trying to pressure or coerce women. I stand AGAINST that so if you don't want to then don't. But I'm saying that it can be very rewarding so you should really think about it before making a decision.

I like to think of empowerment as allowing women the power to act in a way they choose without fear of shame from a predominantly patriarchal society. I'm sorry that you've been conditioned to dislike the word, empowerment is a very empowering word in of itself. So like, with respect to this thread, if you're not comfortable sharing, that's TOTALLY okay. This is meant to be a safe and healthy discussion. There is no need to feel pressured. It isn't being sexually explicit that's good, it's being unafraid to talk about sex and sexually explicitly in the presence of other women that's a noble endeavor. This isn't the 1950s and we should celebrate that. Instead of remaining hush hush about sex, we should be open about it, especially sister to sister. You say you're not afraid, but that you don't see the benefit. Here's my suggestion, read the other responses. Read the fantasies other women have shared, what they do to spice it up, an…

Wow I never really thought about poop like that. I dunno if that makes me more comfortable lol, but this is what I was talking about in the OP! If you never responded I wouldn't have ever opened my mind like this. Regarding rape, I think you should clarify between rape and ravishment. Rape is non consent, ravishment is consensual nonconsent. Huge difference. If you're into rape rape, that's totally okay, but just know it's different than ravishment.

Maybe it is just that there are fewer RPW than BPW here? I don't think so. You also equate not wanting to talk about something with being uncomfortable. It is just not sexy or feminine to talk in public about how you take dick in your ass. RPW care about being sexy and feminine, so they don't talk about it. And this is what I want to know. i'm getting better, though i still have some remaining discomfort/shyness about it. sex was a pretty taboo subject in my household growing up, and my parents sort of raised me to think it was something i shouldn't do, or talk about. i also dated someone briefly who was pretty pushy about it, so it sort of turned into a situation where even hinting at anything sexual probably meant i was going to be pushed into some act i didn't want to be a part of, or punished if i resisted. i'm with someone i …

I choose not to identify with any sexuality. Names put us in two many boxes. This is a great point and I'm glad you brought it up. While it is nice to have a naming scheme to help differentiate, it is important to realize that names constrain us to a limited number of sexual orientations that we perceive as normal. I'm straight. Have you ever thought about experimenting? Too many to write. My fantasies change a lot, too. Depends on my mood and the day, and the partner, as said. But you can say my favorites are tying up and teasing, and I mean hours edging a man until he's begging to cum. I like tickling (yep), I really like oral and all things wet&messy, I looooove having my nipples stimulated the proper way, and I love vibrators. Oh wow so you're an S. This thread serves two purposes: 1) If a person is uncomfortable being sexually open, it helps others understand why and it helps the uncomfortable person develop an open mindset to be more open. 2) The people who are sexually open are able to learn from other people's views on sex. I think that one problem with society is the notion of sex being something that shouldn't be openly talked about, and I thought that it's such a good common ground RP and BP women can find by talking about it in a wo…

I am bi and very comfortable with my sexuality. Same here sister. fistbump I was 24 when I had sex for the first time, with a good friend for whom it was also his first time. I grew up in a religion that taught that any sexual experience for a woman outside marriage made her used and lowered her value. That definitely played into why I waited so long before I has sex. I spent time working out what my issues with sex were before I had sex for the first time and it was great! I think though that g…

Straight. Have you ever experimented? How do you know for sure you're straight? Yes and no. I know I'm attracted to men but I also have a pretty low sex drive in general That's totally okay and there's no shame in that. Don't feel bad at all. I suppose. That's good to hear! People are free to do what they want with their bodies, but there are consequences of course :P Agreed. You should be smart about your choices. I am comfortable. I guess bisexual is a bit of a simplification, because I cannot handle a relationship with a woman, but having sex with them is fun. I'm in touch and comfortable with my sexuality. I became sexually active in highschool. TBH, in retrospect, I should have waited a bit longer, but on the flip side, I'm glad I didn't wait so that I could really understand the kind of happiness sex brings. But like I also said, I wasn't emotionally prepared to understand the hurt it brings. In summ…

This is circlejerking. I never said that. I agree women can do wrong, which is why I said neither sex should lie. I'm just saying that in MY experiences I've seen men lie with malicious intent more often than women. I see terpers go on and on about spermjacking, but I've never met a guy IRL who was a victim of it or a woman who tried to do it. Can you guys please tone down the misogyny? I want to have a conversation, but there's no reason to be so rude and hurtful. I don't think you should be in jail for cheating, lying about your sexual history, or applying make up. Why is it the best years of my life that I spent with others? Women are too young from 18-25. We haven't fully matured. Once we grow a bit older, then we enter the best years of our life.

Trp are fooling themselves that women have sex with men out of their league in their 20s in then settle for a less attractive guy. It's just that women reach the age they are ready to settle down. Exactly this. Not to come across the wrong way, but in a way women are immature. We need to travel, experience the worlds for ourselves, sexually as well, so that we can mature. First of all, I take SJW as a compliment because I do believe in social justice. That said, why should we forgive him? What he did was despicable. I would give him the death penalty, but honestly I don't support him so I can't. Life in prison. He robbed the girls of their innocence.

It's the existence of a society in which men are given preferential treatment in many if not all aspects of life, men's opinions are taken more seriously than women's, and that men are generally respected more than women.

I'm not pretending that guys don't lust after young women, but I disagree that there is this "wall" after which women suddenly become unattractive. I don't think their SMV declines far below their peak like you say. I think that men and women can both remain SMV if they have hobbies, interests, and are unique individuals with likable attitudes.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/15 05:43 PM

How are my views RP? Mods said the same thing and I disagreed. I hate RP. The only part of RP I kinda liked was RPW and then they banned me when I said I wanted to work as well as my husband. Ok, so let me ask you this then. If the nice guy who is kind and caring doesn't deserve sex, but you are willing to freely give sex to the mean asshole, what incentive do the kind and caring guys have to not just be mean assholes and get more sex? You're sick. As a woman, this really hurts me and really is triggering to many readers. Do you understand the implications of what you're saying? You're basically saying that once a woman gets married, she has to always have sex with that man. Can't you see how misogynistic that is? You're basically saying that the woman's body is his property.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/15 07:14 PM
-9

Honestly this is one issue I'm torn about and don't really know what to think. On one hand, I think because woman have achieved equality, they shouldn't need alimony. It's possible for women to work, we have a very egalitarian society. But on the other hand, I can't help but feel like it's men's duty to provide for their wives. There are some elements of traditionalism that shouldn't be done away with.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/15 07:12 PM
1

No of course not. It's really good that we've made major strides and are accepting of all genders (male, female, queer, nonbinary, etc). Also, I think it's really good that men and women are encouraged to explore their sexualities, women are told its okay to work, men are told its okay to stay at home and raise the kids, or do a mix of both. Equality is very important.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/15 06:59 PM

This is not acceptable. You can't demand women to have sex with men. They have to willingly consent. Honestly this, this right here, is why TRP is misogynistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/15 06:57 PM

I'm really sorry that you feel bad about this. No man or woman should be disrespected because of their sexual experience/lack of experience. There's nothing wrong with virgin men, promisucous men, promiscuous women, or virgin women. Just don't have an entitled mindset and you'll be fine. Being a virgin doesn't mean that you "deserve" to have sex anymore than the guy with the 50 partners. At the end of the day, sex is an act committed by two consenting parties. That said, I don't hate you. I don'…

I think it's very telling that you are shifting the focus from the wife who is being manipulated to the husband of the wife. /r/PurplePillDebate18/05/15 07:05 PM

I think it's absolutely despicable. Do these people have no morals? It's not fair for him to tempt the wife and seduce her into an affair. Men need to realize that its not right for them to sleep with married women.

I think if porn did not exist the SMP would be in a much worse state. Porn is really empowering, especially for women. It allows women to explore their sexuality free of patriarchal restraints such as exuding a virginal behavior. It's allowed men and women both to be more open about their sexual kinks and people embrace their sexualities with a healthy attitude now. I think the guys who find porn more enjoyable than sex are losers though. I mean, really? Faking it is better than the real thing? …

Exactly. It's very important that men continue to act like men. I mean, I'm really progressive and find it empowering if a woman wants to propose to her SO but like it's really important that men understand the importance of making a woman feel all fuzzy inside by proposing to her.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/15 04:53 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/15 04:49 PM

The reason men are not honest about this is that women, by and large, seem to value the emotional/companionship/social/whatever aspects of the relationship more than sex. You don't?????? I mean sex is nice but really, you don't care for these??? Sex is that much more important?? As a woman, I find this hard to believe. "what do you value most about our relationship/relationships in general?" So what you're saying is that the honest answer from men would be sex?

/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/15 03:11 AM

It's not that men get special treatment. It's that people subconsciously treat them as better. They look at men when they think about who they are going to promote to leadership/management positions. They trust men when it comes to important jobs. By default, it seems the superiors I have worked with don't want to give women a chance.

You have to define oppression. If you mean are they prevented from voting, then no. If you mean they encounter sexism in the workplace and have to fear rape in the streets, then yes. I guess what I'm saying is that for those that want marriage we should help and encourage them to get married instead of making it difficult. Men and women. Equality matters.

Why marry you, when your friends, coworkers, and daughters are willing to fuck me without marrying them? Are you really only after sex? Do you not want any other benefits (like the emotional ones) of being with a woman? No cuddles? No going out on trips? No taking a dance class together, traveling together, cooking for her + her cooking for you, etc. Like, there is plenty more to a relationship than sex. That's what I was getting at. Re-reading your response it seems like you only want sex and I…

Firstly, I haven't seen a source. Secondly, if it's true, it makes it seem like all the blame is on women. What about the women who divorced men who cheated? Or men who abused their wives? Sometimes divorce is the correct option.

I don't think it's an issue of being out of my league or out of another woman's league. I think there are some really good men out there, but for a combination of reasons they don't want to get married, and I want to know how we as a society, men and women, can help make these men get married again.

I'd disagree. Many women want marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/15 12:32 AM

But a 15 year old marriage is different than a 15 year old LTR. There's something special about husband/wife that you don't get by being bf/gf.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/15 12:19 AM

Would you do it without the associated status and titles (husband, wife, married)? I guess this. I'd want the whole experience including the wedding.

I don't agree with all of this, and I find the links depressing. The dontmarry page is exactly the opposite of what I think men should be doing. Regarding the PDF, I don't think any man should go through that. Have an upvote for effort <3

Men are no longer viewed as providers and heads of families anymore. Look at sitcoms commercials, and media today. White married men are portrayed as dumb, goofy, doofus idiots who would be completely lost in the world if not for their smart, mature wives. Men in marriages are no longer respected. I'm going to have to look into this. Yes. Absolutely it is. Statistically, women bring 72% of all divorces. I literally have a better chance of betting half my money on "red" on a roulette table than I…

Did you see my linked comment? Variety in your life, a woman with a unique identity, hobbies, etc. Do these things not interest you? What about a woman who has that and will have sex? You know, women like sex too ;) Why should I be the one who gets fucked when I can keep my money to myself now and fuck them later on for free? This seems like you hate women.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/15 10:58 PM

Dunno what this has to do with scotsmen, but what I mean by that is women and men both have to "grow up." For women, growing up could be shopping less extravagantly. For men, it means committing to one woman.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/15 04:04 AM

Well men's perspectives do matter but it doesn't change the fact that a lot of men today are becoming lazy and deadbeats. More men live with their parents, play video games all day, and don't have good careers.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/15 04:04 AM

So you don't care if a woman is smart? College-educated? Has a job? Has hobbies? Plays tennis? Likes to watch movies? Travels? Enjoys going to the beach? NONE of these things interest you? This is slightly misogynistic. Women are more than just their bodies.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/15 03:36 AM

I don't think it's dishonest, in fact I think the opposite. A man being honest with his emotions is good; it is healthy for the relationship, even if it's a ONS. Sure, for a ONS, there may not be time for a heart-to-heart ;) , but it can't hurt.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/15 03:27 AM
1

But the biggest one is that men aren't stepping up.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/15 03:25 AM

Well men ARE becoming lazy and deadbeats. Marriage rates are plummetting, and we need men to step up. Women have done so much to advance their status. They now have jobs, careers, education. They are no longer confined to the home and are allowed to do what they want. Since women are people with varied interests, different women do different things, and thus we are unique and not all the same. Men need to recognize that women are indeed unique and they should accept us for who we are and step up…

It's not the easiest thing in the world. Women face sexism daily (watch the video of the woman walking for 10 hours in NYC). Then, there are a bunch of stereotypes you're supposed to adhere to. Women are expected to be feminine and graceful but at the same time need to be strong and independent. We need equality in the workplace but get paid less (wage gap). We need representation in the government, but women are the most underrepresented in Congress. Then we need to adhere to a specific body ty…

/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/15 04:46 PM

You're sick. Do you know what this comment is doing? It's a statement on the status of women today in society. By responding to Archwinger's comment, you are decrying the feminist belief in equality and stating that you acknowledge female subservience. You are effectively championing for women to return to a state of subjugation beneath males. You're sick.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/15 04:43 PM
1

But always be vigilant, because we're coming for your friends, your family, and everyone you hold dear. Thank God the world has an Internet force to fight us. Oh my god you are just scary.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/15 04:42 PM
-1

Ugh you are so rude. Yes women fantasize about things but I want to support my partner and I would hope he realized that. You're making sweeping sexist generalizations by saying that we fantasize about men crying in front of us. Crying is such a turn off. We want to support them like they support us. That's what a relationship is. That doesn't mean we want to watch them act like a baby.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/15 04:39 PM
1

Her body her choice.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/15 04:37 PM
2

Can you elaborate?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/15 04:31 PM
-6

I agree the woman's death was a lot more tragic. She was fearful of growing old and alone, a legitimate fear. But the guy was just insecure and didn't even want to try finding a partner to settle down with. He was right when he said he was helping natural selection.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/15 04:29 PM
2

Strong confident men are sexy, but not all women are attracted to them. Some women I know like shy guys. Not all women want to be submissive. I want to be an equal in my relationship. Cockyness isn't attractive. It makes the man look like a douche. Women are logical too. Nice guys don't finish last. It's just that they think they are entitled to sex and they are not, which is why they think they are "finishing last."
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/15 04:26 PM
-1

Oh my god this is so sexist that I had to comment. Have you never relied on a woman for support before? Men should display their emotions to their partners so that they can support them.

I'm not dictating anything, I know rpw won't listen. But I can't help but feel they should be feminists. Feminism does need power because misogynistic men seek to undermine it. We need to teach feminism in a university so that people know how important it is for women to be treated equally. Name one fucking right that men have that a woman doesn't have. I just can't take a woman who says that she doesn't want equal rights and equal treatment under the law seriously. Women shouldn't be ashamed of being feminists.

It seems scarier, especially after my talk with the RPW mods. I knew TRP was bad, but when I found out that there were women who ardently believed in it I cried. I just wish they can see that there is so much good in feminism but they loathe it. TRP is scary because it teaches men how to abuse women. It's a support group for rapists and abusers, and it has convinced some women (rpw) that what those men do are okay and that those women should be accepting of it. I really don't know why a woman wo…

The beliefs that women are equal people. They deserve equal treatment, equal protection under the law, equal pay for equal work, and overall, just plain equality. You guys keep bringing up a lot of things that are bad, but you're not understanding feminism.

Why would I give control to my SO? Why can't we be equals in the relationship?

What are you talking about?

Feminism is the belief that women deserve equal rights and equal treatment under the law. I don't know why so many people don't see that.

I get that you hate feminism but some people, like me, believe in it and do want equality for all thank you very much.

I'm a feminist and I'm not angry with you, but I think you aren't being fair. There is misogyny out there and people with certain privileges.

I will be honest, this is the first time I've seen such dislike towards feminism by so many people, including a group of women.

I have a hard time accepting that. I've never had a bad experience with feminists.

Every group has extremists. Democrats have extremists that believe the rich should be taxed at 90%. Do all democrats believe the same? No.

It's what we call a myth. We call it a myth because it doesn't exist. Google "wage gap myth" and you'll get a lot of results from reputable sources on this. I'm going to do this when I have the time. Meaningless buzzword. Doesn't exist in the first world outside of Tumblr. You haven't head of the 1 in 4 statistic?

Why do you feel the need to harass me? I was upset that I got banned and reached out to you, but I've been courteous. I haven't insulted you.

You suggested those weren't the jobs I wanted, suggesting that what I want doesn't matter. I don't want to be a victim and complain, but I can't help but feel as if I'm a victim of a bunch of sexist women.

The one thing I will apologize for is posting on tbp because I guess that is an official 'rule' I broke on rpw, but I'm not going to apologize for my beliefs. I didn't do anything wrong by voicing disagreement. I expressed how I felt.

Oh come on. We've made great progress but there are still ways to go. What about the wage gap? Women in STEM? Rape culture, especially on college campuses. You cannot possibly believe women have all the privileges.

Are you implying that women who seek happiness CAN do it at the expense of men? If so, that's a crazy sexist double-standard. I think they can, but I think they shouldn't. But I think I have a different definition. If women go to college and get degrees and get jobs, it's not "at the expense of men," it's equality. Women have a right to pursue careers too. If you assert that you don't care about male suicide on a forum that largely doesn't like to antagonize men, and try to start a debate on a f…

I didn't say what they believed in was wrong. I voiced my disagreement. I thought of something different than others, and I posted that in a comment. I thought that would be okay, but I learned that it wasn't. I just feel upset about it because I feel like they're censoring me. I don't want to pick a fight but I am shocked at how much they hate feminism. I didn't see any of that hate when I first stumbled on rpw.

You're right that I posted on tbp but I can't help but feel that you're using that as an excuse. You banned me before I could even reply to some of those comments on that thraed effectively censoring me.

It's interesting because when I first stumbled on rpw it felt like a really happy community, but now that I've seen their beliefs it's just scary.

I'm just shocked that a group of women out there really don't see the good in feminism and think I'm evil for focusing on my happiness.

I was actually kind of happy with RPW at first glance because it seemed refreshing. I like the idea of finding ways to make your SO happy because doing so makes me happy. But I find one comment that I don't like, voice my disagreement, and get banned. Of course, you say I got banned for being on tbp. Although that's true I think you wouldn't have banned me if I never made that comment and instead kept my mouth shut.

I'm not asking men to kill themselves but if they are weak and commit suicide how is that my fault. I just want to live a normal life with all the privileges that men have.

I am certain the City would hire her to be a garbage collector, or she could get her plumbers license or HVAC certification. OHHHH, those weren't the jobs she wanted, were they? So now you're saying I can't even choose which jobs I want to work? Do you even care about women's happiness??
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/15 10:16 PM

Make a comment "It's not my fault if some women commit suicide because they can't handle a dominant man. Is it wrong for men to place their own happiness over weak-willed women who kill themselves because they can't handle a relationship with a real man?" Record the time as t0. This is not hte same though. Men should seek happiness but they shouldn't do it at the expense of women.

I think this is is insulting. If it weren't for feminism women wouldn't have many of the freedoms they have today.

I'm sorry but a man can't be abused like a woman can. Some women out there are not nice and those men should man up and leave those relationships. Men are by far the biggest perpetrators of bause and I think it's sick that you think those insults exist because men get "abused". Women get insulted too.

I would never date a misogynist, and neither would any of my friends. How do you know that my positions are of the minority?

My point is I think terpers lie to themselves. Being themselves, aka being misogynists, won't get you laid. I'll admit, confidence is a turn on for me. Seeing a guy act cocky can be arousing, but if a man is not a feminist I can't see a relationship with him.

You know it's true ;)

You can't just say 'rape' or 'not rape.' All of them could be rape depending on the context. 4 might be rape, but definitely a no-no. I would go to the police if someone did that to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/15 01:06 AM

So then terpers can't be themselves, which means they won't get relationships! And since we already know how insecure they are, they're not getting laid either!

Being yourself is good, as long as you consider "yourself" someone who is able to put your relationship first, avoid being a jerk to your SO, and keep up with your appearance and/or attitude in a way that will keep attraction strong. So is it good for terpers to be themselves? I'm myself all the time, and it's not hard for me to get down and dirty ;) I think if terpers go to bars and start talking about how they don't believe in marital rape not many women will want to be with them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
