No shit it's high risk, but if you're already friends and you invite her out without calling it a date, she'll just think you're hanging out like normal. Also, as much as it's a dirty word here, acting like a friend and trying to escalate/act romantic with no prior intent show is going to come off creepy unless she was already interested, in which case a date would have been fine. I mean, if you want a FWB, a casual escalation could work fine, but usually has to come pretty early.

This was huge for me. I was stuck in the anger phase and cost my self some dates with women I got along with really well because I spent so much time reading little more than TRP. Go outside, the crazy shit we read here isn't as common as it seems, though it is terrible.

"Gorgeous" can come off too strong without the comfort and smoothness to back it up. If you've got any AA, it generally does. My favorite direct opener is to walk up to the girl, hold your hand out as you get close (not after you stop), wide and open posture: "Hi, I'm supitsLoki, what's your name?" "Name" "Good to meet you, Name. You are very pretty, (mind if I join you/how's your day/situational question/etc)" holding her hand the whole time. I generally try to say that she's pretty like I'm ju…

"Hi." "Hey, how's your day going?" Not being snarky, her proximity and the fact that you're both stuck there means you don't need a clever opener or excuse to talk to her.

If it was a figure of speech, what was the intended message? That you should collect on the credit of the men that came before you? That you're entitled to sex because you happen to share a gender with the people that actually did build this country, in a time where it was the only gender that really could? Congrats, you won the coin flip. The only thing your "figure of speech" said that could construed as sex-worthy is "I pay the bills," but even then, that's BetaBux mentality, as they call it …

...You either think "All is fair in love and war" is a rare enough quote that an average woman wouldn't know it, or that an average woman is too stupid to remember a quote she's probably heard 100 times.

Follow all of the advice on the side bar, including, but not limited to developing abundance mentality and asking out other women to get over your one-itis. Then, if she happens to float by you in person, ask her out.

His point is at a certain level of inebriation, far before incapacitation, you're not legally able to give consent. So the joke/question is, if two people are inebriated and have sex, did they both technically rape each other?

You're trying too hard to run the aloof asshole game and pidgeonholing her as a slut because she mistakenly felt comfortable enough with you to try to get you excited about seeing her by sending a sexy picture. She wasn't shit testing you at all, and you didn't need to run any asshole game. She wanted to get to know you. You yourself said you wouldn't want to sleep with some stranger, so why would she? It sounds like you took her on a boring date, didn't talk about anything of substance, and the…

Nope. Her body, her choice. In America as it is today, there's usually some sort of larger impact (accidental pregnancy leading to government assistance, and a lot of people claim single parents raise worse kids, though I haven't cared enough to look for any evidence). It' easy to intend for the best, but if someone comes up to you with thousands of dollars and literally no strings, it's hard to say so. That said, there's really nothing morally wrong with a woman being independent and fucking ev…

If you've built comfort in other areas (work, school, dreams, passions, etc), you can ge by on hiding details. Or just say "a few, I'm not counting." Though it seems to me, she was past the point of seeking comfort and curious as to whether your game has worked before.

Seems like you're not comfortable with yourself and have zero sense of calibration. Not everything is a shit test. In fact, most things aren't. She wanted to get to know you, and you deflected, which is vhy she got mad. You also came off as a total prick by trying to be dominant and order her around without building any comfort whatsoever. It's important to respect that they do have to be nice to you and so on, but that doesn't mean she doesn't want to. My take on it is to be really respectful and non-aggressive, not pressuring her. Club game and day game are different animals, especially when she's at work. If you're talking for a bit and it seems genuine, it's not bad form to say something like, "hey you seem really (interesting/fun/whatever adjective you'd like that can't be perceived as creepy), would you like to do (whatever,…

There are people of multiple skill levels here, not just beginners. Saying that the existence of an intermediate guide is discouraging to a beginner's approach is like saying the existence of sweep picking guides is discouraging to a new guitarist. If she doesn't actively continue the conversation, she's generally not interested in continuing it. Or she's boring. If I'm getting weak responses and don't feel disinterest, I'll throw in a really open question with tons of room to expand on and/or a tease about her conversational skills and gauge the response, since it's usually more definite from there.

Absolutely, but even above just socially acceptable, if you're applying for jobs, it's generally best to leave "cam girl" off of your resume. "Twitch.com Partner/Streamer" can be bullshitted into something of creating a business if you spin it right. Possibly a bit knee-jerk on saying streamers make more, but it seems likely based on the random AMAs I've seen floating around. They get pretty insane donations.

Actually, that is funny, because you are an example of how looks sometimes matter. Looks always matter, to some degree. I read a comment awhile ago that said something to the effect of female attraction coming down to a combination of looks, status (social standing/money/etc, different for everyone), and game. All are relevant, and we should strive to max out all 3, but every person places a different amount of importance on each one.

I'd say just use one or the other, the whole thing is too wordy. I like the personalization approach, though not stoked on your ending. Possibly end it with some comment on how unsexy resumes are. It's not "goofball" to agree and amplify. It hinges on how she said it anyway. If she's anything but dead serious, then you should have fun with it. Oh it will. There are already cases making their way through the courts in Canada. The logic of gay marriage applies equally to consensual polygamy/polyandry. It's going to happen, without doubt. I fail to see the problem. If everyone consents, no harm is done. If you don't like it, just don't do it. Personally, I hope nonmonogamy of all forms catches on, it'll make easier explaining that I don't want just one girlfriend.

Unfortunately, all men love the pure, virgin, young, innocent type women because it is coded in our DNA. So, the tattoos on women have the adverse affect and turn them into bigger sluts because the guys they go after are not the types that "settle down" and with each guy they fuck, they loose a part of the ability to pair-bond which causes them to be broken inside. Got a source on that absolute nonsense? Physical male attraction generally varies way more than female, and I've met few men that ar…

The dress goes 1/4 down her thigh in the front and back, only a bit higher on the side. I don't agree that there is anything inappropriate about the length, especially when the legs are covered. It also more than adequately covers her ass, which is where the leggings are a problem. That said, if leggings are against the dress code, then she broke the code and that's all that's relevant here.

I know that TRP guys say chicks with tattoos are easy, which I've generally found to be true, but does anyone have an explanation of the psychology behind body modification and plastic surgery? Yeah, to many, tattoos look fucking beautiful. I won't claim to have enough experience to speak fol an entire gender or group, so I can't say whether tatted girls are more or less easy, but I can say that the tatted girls I've dated were no different than any others, they just loved the look of ink. It's so easy to slip back into old habits is even easier because you start getting comfortable with her again, you think "wow now she REALLY likes me, maybe we were meant to be together and i just needed to change a bit!" Thanks, OP. Had my first approach last night. Getting rejected didn't feel so bad, the part that gets me is not knowing what I did wrong to get turned down. Thisis why learning theory and being self-aware is so important. Nine times out of ten I get rejected, I have an idea of why. Hint, most common for most people tend to be overinvesting in the girl's reactions, bad body language and eye contact, and not teasing/having enough fun (ties in with investing, but worth saying on its own). I think an important point is that the higher risk (social circle, small tomn, small school), the less direct you generally want to be. Yoah, no one should care what a girl you'll never see again thinks, but if you're too forward with a girl who shares your social circle, it'll cause some potentially serious problems.
/r/TheRedPill27/03/15 10:33 PM
1

You keep making the girl the center of this whole thing. The girl is not your source of happiness. Take a month off of thinking about women and only focus about what you care about. What are your passions? Your hobbies? Get better at something. Be happy and content in your own life before you put so much focus on women. It's not her job, responsibility, or place to make you happy. It's yours.

Abundance mindset is more than "just fuck bitches to beat oneitis." It's the idea that you are an awesome, attractive, interesting man, and if one (or many) women aren't attracted or interested in your palticular brand of awesome, there are many others that will be. It still hurts to get rejected, especially when you feel strongly about the girl, but this one isn't your only shot. You'll get over her and find someone else. Stay strong, brother.

You wanna push a bit, but you also have to respect it if she's not interested. If you haven't, I'd suggest reading DiCarlo's escalation ladder. It's not necessarily $0. What's the average cost per day of food and a room when travelling? Let's say $100 to keep it simple. If you work for 6 hours in exchange for room and board, that's about $15/hour. Not a ton, but when you don't have a high income and money is more valuable than time, it makes a lot of sense.

This post's going to be intentionally vague to limit spoilers. Hank's oneitis was horrible disappointing, but three of the most influential characters of my life are in that show, and they're really what make it phenomenal for men to learn from. Hank has strong morals, standards, boundaries, whatever you want to call it, and never deviates from them. He stands up for them and sacrifices for them with no regard to others' opinions of it. I sincerely doubt it's another dude. I could go into reasons, but it's just not. Of the million red flags, there's just not a single one. Alright. Just remember that people in the situation are rarely as objective as they'd like to believe, and that the randomness, nature (bad at sex, etc), and outcome (leaving for a few days) of the fight are huge red flags in and of themselves. But I'm scared. She's being crazy. She left, the texts asking her to come home and telling her this whole thing is st…

Disagree on your description of Dread because manipulating her emotions, disappearing etc doesn't make her "grudgingly" give it up. In fact, they give it up very eagerly. Remember that OP's writing on Dread was from the perspective of the man in the story. To the uninitiated, Dread game sounds a lot like he described.

It seems like this girl's hesitancy for a same night lay was less your standard ASD and more that she, as she said, actually likes you and wanted you to think highly of her. With that, suggesting a quickie in the club bathroom would likely just offend her and potentially blow the whole thing.

Yeah, I heard it said once that routines are like training wheels. If you just need practice forming coherent sentences and actually speaking to strangers, they're fine. But otherwise, you're much better served by having a genuinely spontaneous conversation.

This may or may not work for you, but I take everything really lightly. So I'll joke and mess with the girl physically (touch escalation, push/pull) and keep things light and fun, so when I go for a kiss, it's not a big deal. Once, I stopped a girl and went in, she looked at me and asked, "Are you geing to kiss me??" "Not anymore, you fuckin' ruined it!" TL;DR: if you keep things light and fun, it won't be a big deal either way.

I like your attitude. Don't change for women, be who you want to be. The term "Nice Guy" as it's used is for the guys that think they can buy love with kindness, the archetypal white knight who overdefends and oversacrifices for the women in his life with the conscious or unconscious that, like in a Disney movie, his "niceness" will be rewarded with attraction and love. It's all actually rather sexist and manipulative, if you think about it. You can be a nice guy. You can be a nice guy and get l…

The point being, of course, that Hank Moody is not someone we should emulate simply because he has a lot of sex with hot women. Some people have a really hard time distinguishing between making intentions clear and overqualifying/pedestalizing. I disagree with him, I think stating that you find a girl attractive is good, as long as you do it in a confident way and don't treat her special for it. Case in point, Mark Manson advocates opening an approach with saying you find the girl is attractive. Depends on your style and target audience. Some women will respond well to direct, others not. Do what you want to do, it's bet…

I like that you recognize when you're making excuses, that's a huge part of success, especially when the excuse is fake disinterest. Don't lose eye contact when you're being direct, that's arguably the most important time for it. Also, I wouldn't have made small talk between "I just wanted to meet you" and trying to get the number. After "Really?" I'd have said "Yeah, and now that that's out of the way, let's hang out sometime." While offering her my phone. All said, well done and congrats man!

It's changed me a ton, and every single thing is something I like. It's not about changing the core of your personality as much as it's about having the confidence and social intelligence to be the person you want and display that in an interesting and attractive way. Most people aren't. To be fair, I haven't visited it much, but every time I have it's seemed like a bit of a disaster. Non-RP beliefs are fairly over represented in comparison to RP beliefs, and most of the time an RP belief is expressed, it gets attacked and twisted (the GayLubeOil AMA was a particular sort of shitfest haha). I agree, it's sort of indoctrinating with the "Pills," AWALT, Gervais Principle, it also has that polarizing Red-vs-Blue/X-vs-Y undertone that causes a lot of problems. I …

The reasoning behind my example is that you leave it completely up to her, and if she chooses not to, she can just not text. She doesn't feel pressured to accept because you're staring at her, and she doesn't have to give you her number on the spot, which risks a lesser man (which she doesn't know you aren't (hopefully)) endlessly texting/calling/bugging her after she says she's not interested. I actually disagree with your first paragraph. Imagine, for example, if every day, /r/Christianity was flooded with atheists trying to disprove their belief, etc. You'd hear mostly the same arguments and reasoning, and it may or may not work, and it'd get old fast. I wouldn't, since you risk getting fired if it goes wrong. If you absolutely must, remember that you're at work, so none of this handing your phone to her and telling her to put it in. I'd write my number on a piece of paper and say something like "No pressure, but I'd like to hang out with you sometime. If not, no big deal." Again, only if you must, and you're sure she's interested.

Well yeah, part of the point of The Red Pill is that it's purely amoral. In regards to yaur Hitler comment below, it would be exactly like discussing the aspects the way he ruled Germany without getting hung up on the morality of the Holocaust. Pure strategy. I was basically going to say this. Yeah, really. How about don't take yourself so fuckin' seriously that getting rejected sends you on "a mission to destroy your own self-esteem." To (poorly) paraphrase Mark Manson, the only thing a rejection means is that the other person doesn't think you have the qualities he or she is looking for right now. It doesn't mean you're worthless, it doesn't mean you're ugly, it doesn't mean your opener wasn't situational enough. It just means he or she didn't see the qualities in you that he or she…

Scarcity has something to do with it. Showering compliments often leads to complacence, but well-timed compliments make her feel good and want to do whatever you complimented again. Also, the difference between praise and flattery is that praise is earned. "Hey, you've been busting your ass and lost 10 pounds, you look fucking great," not, "Baby, you're so pretty. If he's 43 now, and they got married at 28, that makes it 1999, they met Kay a few (usually between 2-4, so let's call it 3) years later, we're at 2002. Her husband was starting the Marines then, so considering WoW came out in 2004, that gives him 2 years of training and everything before he came back in order for this timeline to be accurate. Leading and doing everything yourself are two completely different things. I'd have taken the sign that she wasn't kinoing back as a bit of a red flag.

Thank you. This needed to be said. I have so many guy friends that use that face...to other guys. I just wonder if that tongue is intended for my balls.................

My favorite, a friend of a friend got a text from his ex girlfriend that said nothing but, "I miss you." He thought about it for a second and responded, "I'd miss me too, I'm awesome haha." No promises on how it works, I used it on some girl and never heard from her again (she's an attention whore, so it's probably more that).

Well, to avoid people that matter to her knowing she's dirty, maybe.

In short, I thought every woman wanted what they told me they wanted, so I tried to be that. Got cheated on (but never dumped rofl), was depressed for years, my friend mentioned pickup to me, and I've adopted a lot of the inner game stuff (mainly confidence, self-amusement, and not giving a fuck, none of the douchey shit), much happier now.

Understandable. I think my opinion is clouded by how close it is to me. Actually, it's a lot of why I'm here.
/r/seduction24/12/12 01:49 AM

You may have misunderstood me. I wasn't saying that cheating makes someone a slut, but I do have a very low opinion of women who do so with someone they just met.
/r/seduction24/12/12 01:42 AM

There are so many reasons women cheat, and game is not always it. Sure, it takes some level, but the sweetest talker in the world can't talk some women out of their pants. An opening has to be there (bf is too busy for her, she's lonely, a bored slut, etc), and that's the main reason.
/r/seduction23/12/12 11:23 PM

Yeah I'm usually a big fan of the whole nothing is that simple, and in most cases I agree, but cheating with someone you just met, regardless of their game, puts a girl in the slut category for me.

The downvotes for this are silly. If your girlfriend cheats with a random guy she met at a bar, she is a cheating whore.

This. A hundred fucking times this. Plus, having been cheated on by women I really cared about, I would never try to pick up a girl with a boyfriend.

Solid, solid. So as most people will tell you, here are the most important things this place can teach you: Be confident, be outgoing, be self-entertained, and have fun. Most people with the most success with women are just out to have fun, and they amuse themselves, rather than trying to impress women. Football will definitely help. Good luck, get laid in high school, but use condoms.

You're 13, on the seduction subreddit, are interested in business/law, and use good punctuation/grammar. High school looks good for you, I wish I could do it again with that amount of promise haha.

I feel as if people will think less of me if I told them about the state school. Who the hell cares? If you're hanging out with people that would think less of you and treat you differently because you went to a lesser school for PART of college...I would suggest finding new people. Who the fuck cares what they think?

Ehh I know a lot of girls that are uncomfortable with the word "pussy." My girlfriend for one hates it. So it just depends from girl to girl. But that particular wording has very little to do with the point of this post.

I am not scared to ask a girl out. (already had enough rections, so I am not scared anymore) Read that as "erections."

Belonging / Value - It seems to be dawning on me now that most of college has to do with being part of some kind of group to gain status / friends...Is it impossible to pick up girls / feel that way if you are not part of something like that? I occasionally go to a coffee shop downtown by a college, and I have a friend who literally picks a group of people, pulls up a chair at their table, and starts talking. No status/friends/anything, the only people we know there are the people we met there. …

To me, "I bet you look even cuter when you smile" is just really weak. It's sort of a challenge for her to smile, rather than asking, but the word "cute" kind of turns it into "please smile for me!" Also, I agree with mrpoopistan, cute, adorable, etc are really weak. When's the last time you heard a manly man call anything cute? Bronies and guys that go "aww" at kittens on the internet say cute. I think about it like this: if I'd be embarrassed to say it in front of one of my guy friends, I don'…

It's addressing the question, telling her not to use it again, and when you don't do what she wants, she'll realize that it's not going to work and stop trying to manipulate you. My girlfriend tried that on me once, and I just said no and didn't do it. Didn't happen again. But I like hurrdurr's is better.

You can fix it by rereading everything on seduction/pickup that you've read. Girls only like dicks because they project confidence. Now do that and learn kino and you'll be fine.

I like this. But the ...s sound sad. I personally would call and say basically the same thing. But if you can't do that with an awesome tone, a text would work....just none of those imo. Also "I promise" would be better, since just "promise" could be construed as asking her not to laugh.

I can second this, people have been telling me to shut up and talk quieter for years (singer/screamer here, been doing it for years), and no one ever has a problem hearing me at a concert or anything. Also the environment allows you to get close to her since it's loud.

But either way, your girlfriend's friend wanted him. So it kind of seems that everything you're knocking him for worked, even if not on the right girl, until he said something really dumb.

Hm. Well, there are exceptions to every rule. I'm not quite sold though. Your previous post sounded a bit black and white to me, as if being fwbs was impossible because it's "more than friends." It is a rarity, but I wouldn't discount it as a sort of friendship.

But what if you have no romantic feelings for the person and they have none for you? This happened awhile ago for me with an ex. We had become good friends after the breakup, and both were still physically attracted to each other. So we figured "fuck it, not like this is anything new to us," and started banging. We still hung out outside of sex, and it was no different. So where does that fall in your theory? We were exactly the same emotionally, so I'd say friends, since the physical part of th…

There's a coffee shop in the gas station by my house (kind of a bad ass gas station tbh), and a couple of the girls that work there are gorgeous. I haven't closed or tried because I have a girlfriend, but I have (somewhat ironically) gotten coffee with them after work once or twice. The best advice I can give (fairly new to the subreddit, but I've never had a real problem with girls), talk to her. It's really easy because the introduction is done for you, so provided it's not very busy, you shou…

Yeah. Even though a lot of people do (myself included, though I really try not to), it's honestly really off putting to many people, and makes you sound like a bit of a bigoted dick. I notice quickly when people say things like that, and it's an instant turn off to someone who I could potentially be friends with.

Since you're a mod and you seem to have great advice, what's your take on the "omg thanks baby" route OP suggested? My first instinct would be to reply with, "Aww thanks, you're so sweet. Just know I don't put out on the first date," before turning back to the girl. Do you see anything necessarily wrong with it? Is it acknowledging the jerk too much?
/r/seduction08/10/12 10:58 AM

I don't know how well this would translate to seduction, but if I were in that situation, I would have ABSOLUTELY gone with something like you said. "Aww thanks, you're so sweet. Just know I don't put out on the first date." I would venture to say something like an arm touch or whatever while you're thanking him wouldn't be too far; depending on the girl, it might even make it funnier. Just something funny and quick that makes it look like he's hitting on you, rather than making you look like a …
