Stop promoting homosexual behavior. It does not glorify God and you’re not tricking anyone

Yes, but what would he say?
/r/RPChristians27/05/23 09:41 PM

“What would Jesus do? Or what glorifies God?” Sticking body parts up his butt isn’t going to be one of them no matter how much you try to justify it
/r/RPChristians27/05/23 08:05 PM
4

I mean you can justify yourself all you want, but breasts are a sex organ and mouth arguably is too, at least according to songs or Solomon etc. Your butt hole is not, and never has been, glorified by God or His prophet’s for sex

Downvoted by op but 100% correct. What’s up with the hyper focus on virginity these days. This isn’ta sex forum. Virginity won’t since your insecurities , only you and God can do that

Dude, look at your profile. I told you to get away and flee from that stuff. You didn’t take the advice. Now take a time off and thing about it. You very well could be sexualizing minors, do you understand that?

As Jesus lords over his church. Are you saying OP is being Jesus and his wife the unrepentant sinner?
/r/RPChristians01/06/22 04:12 PM
1

I should clarify living fully vs surviving. Yes of course we will 'survive' in some form, but is it the same when you've cut off both your legs when self inflicted? You will be a shell of your former self. Having your wife separated out of your control or choosing to remain unmarried is completely different. Anyways, it's being facetious, causing your wife's downfall because you think you're right when you are not taking counsel will be bad. To dive into 'helper', it's not helper it's 'ezer', wh…

i agree with your take on OP's problems, but disagree on your take on his responses. Look at his reponses in this thread. He does not see any issues and continues to fight that he is wrong in any way. /u/PRW63 is right here. Dude needs a serious wake up call because he's not getting it from his parents or his wife. his wife is about to crash and crash hard, and when that happens, the man will also succumb because we cannot survive without our other half
/r/RPChristians01/06/22 03:40 PM
2

women are divine helpers, 'vizier' helpers, which meant literally the other half without which men can't survive. That doesn't seem to be what he's doing.

In a Christian mens group 4-5 years ago, we talked about how few is the group that NoFap or NoPorn. I basically thought to myself that you are a Superman among men if you don’t participate in either. Since then I’ve been porn free for most of that time, a few stupid breaks, and I regularly goes months with NoFaps. It gets easier with time and the good breaks longer. also the relationship with my wife has never been better. It’s like fasting for the spirit. Basically I’m Superman now and use that…

I’m saying at some point you read enough RP, because it is by nature secular and leads to MGTOW which isn’t biblical. That’s what I meant

Going to quip here, but stop reading RP, you’ve read enough. Listen to the Bible project or something. Go for more intellectual biblical studies

Honestly it seems like OP has indexed too hard on aggressive trains and RP and less on how Christ treated his church. Firm but with love
/r/RPChristians30/05/22 03:01 PM

This is incredible. Marriage is a balance and moderation. now I’m taking your wife’s emotional state att face value and assuming she isn’t some crazed lunatic, but darn dude you’re aggressive. You sound like a taskmaster and you treat her like a 5year old. I don’t even treat my 7 year old like that anymore so I know the cutoff. Honestly she seems like your kid, doing slightly naughty things and you come down hard with punishment instead of playfully enjoying the moment. I was on your wife side u…

That’s because there is no more rush Limbaugh, he was always extremely happy and rarely left with anger. Sadly he is gone and there is no one nationally similar. There was a guest host from WA that I was really hoping to take over, he always keeps his message positive but sadly they wanted anger and fear to replace Rush

The reset one was the most valuable to me when I left, I was able to come out Of my shell and be confident, strong, and a leader. I was none of those things at home. The rest is solid advice, stuff I wish I knew at 21

True I’m doing the Ol “exception to the rule card” here. Maybe it should be “if you can’t find a wife here how can you find one there”. Because in the end , you’re either good enough for a good wife and get blessed or you’re not. Another exception, when I got married I wasn’t a good person at all, but God obviously had plans for me and we now have the best relationship after 10 years than anyone we know
/r/RPChristians29/05/22 12:32 PM
1

This isn’t always the case and wasn’t with me. you could go over there poorer than them. my wife’s parents are much wealthier than my parents but my mom treats them like poor third worlders that want a visa and my money (of which I had none) It ended up causing a lot of conflict and now I’ve basically separated from my mom and haven’t talked to her in 5 years.
/r/RPChristians28/05/22 12:15 AM

You don’t go there to find one lol, you find one if you’re there thats OK. But go there with a mission for yourself

Even more so if she wasn’t Christian before. I understand it’s important but I feel people over index on it, like the post we had if the other guy that was so upset his virgin gf gave a bj before that he (also a virgin) slept with a prostitute. People need to get their mind off virginity and back on God
/r/RPChristians16/05/22 07:17 AM

I would be incredibly pissed if my 17 yo Christian daughter was dating a 23 yo because he wanted a virgin. Wtf Stop talking to her stop seeing her until you talk to the parents or she is 18. If you don’t, you’re grooming.
/r/RPChristians10/05/22 06:56 PM
-12

Why is “finding a virgin” important. It can’t be more than a “nice to have” or it’s vanity imo. Isn’t that a weird priority as opposed to life partner in God or something?

This is the problem right here. It’s not that she vows what she did before as wrong but wrong with her husband. How much would that suck to hear
/r/RPChristians29/01/22 04:29 AM

We’re not under the old covenant so that point is moot. Paul is very clear, no divorce unless someone cheats. Sodom and gamorrah were destroyed by God’s wrath. I think it’s a grey area also it is unhealthy for the woman.

Thanks for posting this here since I got banned from commenting in that other sub. This is a subject I actively avoid with my wife though I know how many she was with before we were Christian (we didn’t convert until we had our son, we were just heathens back then and non Christian) I’m not sure what I would do, I think that to death do us part is real. This is such a great and timely post. I’ve been having my conversation with my kids since the teachers have been teaching this at their school and needed more clarity. Thank you for providing this. I love that you take this back to Gods perspective which I think always helps with these questions. What would he do? What do we hope he would do? What does he have the right to do? One thing I think that americans don't do is take good care of their skin, my wife is Asian so skin is big there. She takes a lot of care of it ever since we got married in our early 20's. If you want to look good for the longest time possible, have her spend some serious time on keeping her skin nice and protecting from the sun. Of course, you should as well. There are lots of treatments that are being invented to help that you should take advantage of. This is the one thing I think can make a …

All in all that’s just to say things will take time fir both involved. But believe in God will help you achieve a great, healthy marriage much faster than we did! Have kids early so they’re out of the house by your 40s! Good luck! Btw, how old are you guys?
/r/RPChristians01/12/20 07:18 AM
3

No unfortunately, but we found Christ through our marriage, largely because of our love for one another. We got baptized when my 2nd was on the way, about 4 years into our marriage though we went for church about a year before that.
/r/RPChristians01/12/20 06:52 AM
2

I honestly think you're at where I was with my wife, who is similar in her way. And we've been married 10 years, 2 kids early on, and I know more passion these years than when we were married early. i'd say it almost took 5 years for us to really get it physically. So I can understand you're anxiety.
/r/RPChristians01/12/20 05:36 AM
2

Like my wife is objectively good looking, this is obvious but I don't have an innate animal passion, not after 10 years. But it's there when we need it and that's all that matters. But on the day to day, she's just a regular person that I love. So being realistic here, I think what you have is enough. And you won't be settling either, because you have that attraction. Nothing more on that side is necessary in my experience, after 10 years of being married. ha
/r/RPChristians01/12/20 04:50 AM
2

no, I think every husband says that about their wife to other but that can't objectively be true. obviously. I think if you're physically attracted to her then that's enough. There is no need animal passion, and that fades in time anyway. Physical attraction is enough, your wife's personality will make up for the rest if she is interested in you. The rest will follow. I wouldn't spend too much time on this.
/r/RPChristians01/12/20 04:29 AM
2

I think people are right here that you should start with how she dresses. Take her to the gym, that's probably the easiest and least awkward way. She'll be wearing her gym clothes which should be close enough to make you decide if you're physically attracted or not.

Never listen to your heart on things, that is a modern lie that will lead you astray. Instead listen to your logic and pray to God for guidance and seek fellowship

My wife and I were the same, we knew we’d get married together one day very early in the relationship and decided to do it earlier. 10 years later we have a very strong marriage. It was logical too, not based on infatuation but a sense of knowing it was going to happen. I feel for OP, had to be tough

Some people take longer to open up, it could be a while
/r/RPChristians29/11/20 07:33 AM
2

I disagree somewhat. Attraction definitely grows over time. I think I got more attracted to my wife after I ditched things and focused solely on her. But that’s maybe a different issue. It could also be the way she dresses, can have a huge impact. My wife had her own style, not mine but that changes later

dude, your wife is your 'Vizier Other', quote directly from the bible when Eve is first created. She is literally "the one without which you cannot be whole". She was created by God because Adam was incomplete without her. You're taking this RP thing way too far to the point of wife comparing? That's very weird. She’s basically on the diet but she has the perfect body already so it’s no pressure for her to eat just regular food. And you know how keto is, everything soon tastes like almond flour haha. Also, keto isn’t really an Asian thing. They’re not big on it there, so not as many recipes to keep her engaged but yes, she’s been very supportive especially on the reduced sugar we eat

Thank you! When you say counting Macros you essentially mean getting enough Protein and then supplementing the rest of the necessary cals with Fat right? Sadly, not sure how removed I can get from grain for how much longer. Wife is asian, and carbs are a fundamental part of most of their diet. It's been hard for her having to reject most of the food she is used to. Goal is to at least hit my 144 protein daily then fill it up with Fat and Carb to hit my 1800 cal a day diet.
/r/RPChristians04/06/20 09:25 PM

Thank you! It's not been as difficult as I thought. Once I committed to Keto and had that goal that "when you hit 40 you keep that shape til 70" I was good to go. The low carb meals helped keep everything smooth and not too hard to do. Plus, since I wasn't travelling as much, I was able to restrict my diet more. Lots of more baking and BBQ during the quarantine, but this time it's healthy!

I’ll comment in the working out as I was 5’11 215 at start of quarantine and I just started lifting for the first time in my life last year. It’s a marathon. It yourself on a plan and stick to it. You write a lot about this but raising kids is simple, as one redditor who raised foster kids said “give your kids a box, all the rules define the box, now once this is set, don’t change it. If you do, any changes must be permanent” As the dad, you are the owner of the box or set of rules. You can delegate to the wife but final say comes from you.
