I'm reading Mushrooms of the Redwood Coast, which I got for my Bday! The guys that wrote it and provided the photography are old friends and the book is gorgeous! As for recipes, it's been non-stop canning and pickling and fermenting so I've picked up a few new favs for the shelves.

IRC is easy to set up and easy to moderate. As far as I can tell, reddit's chat feature is just a free for all and has no real security features. I don't really care for the new reddit setup, old is better.

I feel like I'm being put in the role of steady reliable one while he goes into crisis mode and avoids the boring day to day stuff. Thank god you have the ability to be that right now, many people can't or won't and families fall apart. That's our job as wives anyways right? To be steady and reliable, especially in times like these? For better or for worse, in sickness and in health - this time you are in is exactly what those types of vows mean. Some time later, will he need to be that for you …

I can understand your frustration with having to cover the bases more right now but honestly, this is a moment in time, not forever. It's been a few weeks which isn't really that much time. It's impossible to say what's too much time when you're talking about giving your husband space to figure things out and get to a place he's comfortable with. These things are never 50/50, not dishes or kids or jobs. I think feeling frustrated and venting certainly has a place for wives (and husbands) but res…

even before the split, the RPW you introduced me to had begun to crack and crumble for all the reasons that became fully expressed in post RPW (RPWi). I check both the old and new every so often but it's nothing of interest anymore. It was great in the beginning and the core group of women were mostly fantastic.

Phantom wasn't a plate. Anyone who knew her at all would never say this.

and it is definitely down to my abusive childhood, and the fact I went straight into an abusive marriage It might be good to keep in mind that this guy isn't an abuser from your past. It seems like you're forcing the burden from those other people onto him. I think that's a pretty common mistake for most people, dragging old people into new relationships and not understanding or even realizing that you're doing that or that it has such a negative effect.

Great advice. "honey, we need to talk" is like the worst sentence a woman can say in a situation like this.

It's probably a good idea to just let him talk without interruption until he is done. If you want him to stick around, you're probably going to have to STFU about your complaints completely. If your reaction to this advice is "but what about my feelings" then you should probably just let it and him go. Get a hold of your emotions, your reactions, your anger, your whatever and deal with it quietly and without vocalizing anything further. And how can I express my problems without being accusatory,…

Kind of a confusing concept to think about when posted on a women's red pill forum..

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
