If you ever need an example of how pervasive misandry is, send people to the comments section of this video.

Don’t do something drastic like get her fired. You take away her income, then you’re going to have a huge problem, especially with children in the picture. Get divorced. Give evidence to the lawyer only. Don’t make a huge scene out of this. Keep it all in the courtroom.

If a man leaves a dying wife, he's a piece of shit. If a woman leaves a dying man, she's a hero for leaving "what most likely was an abusive relationship." I've seen this mentality in person. A family friend's husband was diagnosed with liver cancer (genetic disease, not from alcohol or drug abuse.) He was put on a transplant list, but didn't get a liver in time. While waiting for a potential transplant, people would call her frequently to check up on her, where she was crying a ton. She never…

As a man, I'm scared as fuck if I walk alone at night. Idk where people think "men can do whatever they want at night and not have to worry about being assaulted."

From what? Getting pregnant puts your life in danger. Not getting pregnant increases risk for health conditions as well.

Where are you basing the claim that women shouldn’t be taking BC after their 30’s? Women can still get pregnant in their 30’s. It has a ton of benefits to them as well.

Then she should also hold herself to said standard. If she doesn’t want a kid, then she shouldn’t have sex until she’s ready for one. Birth control fails. Plan B will fail if she takes it after ovulation and before menses. See how it quickly turns into “you can’t police her body!!!” when you reverse the situation. (I’m not saying people should police a woman’s body; just pointing out how you shouldn’t police a man’s body either.)

There’s a paywall so I’m not sure if this was a survey. If it was, these studies are practically useless. In every step of data collection, there’s a ton of room for bias. It only serves as a stepping stone to do actual research to look at what you’re testing. Nothing more.

Death by statistics. I can make statistics say anything I want. Other people have shown examples of this, so I won’t belabor the point. However, this is common manipulative/gaslighting behavior that has no logical basis for it. Look at it this way: let’s say a man were to tell his wife “hey, women (in general) need to shut the fuck up cause most of them say stupid shit. If you disagree, then it’s because you can’t see what your gender does around here.” That would be abusive. She’s getting stron…

It seems like the article spends way more time and energy just trying to downplay or reject the notion of systemic discrimination and hatred of men.

If you agree to have sex with someone that is on BC, then it’s consensual. But if you don’t consent to sex with someone without a form of BC, is that not grape? This is of course assuming there was dialogue that led to the reproductive coercion.

Men will spend hundreds to thousands of $$$ just to be spit/stepped/urinated on. I am NOT surprised they’ll pay for an actual date

Bro you’re not unattractive. I’d honestly focus on yourself. Be courteous (ie, not an asshole.) But seriously consider therapy to grow your confidence. To keep it “vapid,” I knew guys in high school and college that were not conventionally attractive. I mean they were very overweight, not too tall, and stuck out of the crowd in the wrong way if you didn’t know them. Yet, they were the most confident mother fuckers out there. Yeah, people gave them shit and were mean to them. But holy hell, they …

It’s the same notion as “you can’t fix her bro.” If the partner is relying on you to handle their problems without said partner actively working on it, then it’s emotionally exhausting. I’ve been there: ex gf had depression and anxiety. She wouldn’t even try to work on herself through the mental illnesses. Over the course of 1.5 years, it wore me down to the point where I burned out emotionally. The relationship ended with her cheating on me and abusing me in multiple ways, including sexually. I…

Car insurance companies do this as well. Men ages 16 - 25 are charged the most, assuming all other things equal.

It’s the bride’s day because traditionally, the bride’s father/family pays for it. That is also antiquated.

Oddly enough, my feminist wife lol. When I write this, it comes from a place of learning on both ends. I carry no I’ll-will or harbor resentment in the slightest. We have a healthy marriage. Also, I’m sorry this is a long post lol. On one of our first dates 6 years ago, she and I went to a millennial-esque bar with ping pong tables. She’s from the west coast and I from the south (you’ll see why that’s important lol.) Now, I suck at playing ping pong; she’s great at it. And it really doesn’t both…

I don’t know if anyone will read this, but just to add something: I’m in medical school and we are in our reproductive system block, where we learn everything about male and female reproduction - from physiology to the social determinants of health. We have a few days where we (the med students) practice being a doctor AND a patient with various sexual health. One of those is a partner in a domestic violence case. Except, only women play the role of the abused partner. Men don’t. And I don’t thi…

One girl I dated for a little over 2 years had sexually assaulted me our first time. I had a minor dental procedure done that day and was in pain. She and I were just talking at this point, so she wanted to come over to “take care of me while I healed.” I thought it was just a simple gesture to show she cared about me. But she used me being in a “weaker” state to force herself on me. I didn’t want to have sex, but she essentially used myself “not wanting it” as a sign of “being a f****t” (clear …

It’s coming from women who identify as men who can still menstruate. As in, towards the beginning of the transition, they still menstruate. That’s how I view it anyway

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
