Lol I said “probably” so I guess my source is my brain? Haha obviously that means it is my opinion. I’ll have to go back to this thread later when I’m sober because I don’t even remember what I was estimating to have that percentage chance, but I can explain my reasoning if you’re curious, it’s generally going to be a mix of scientific research I’ve consumed, and anecdotal evidence both from myself and from those I’ve shared experiences and stories with over the years.

Then why is it that if you sign a contract drunk it still has to be honored, and if you drive drunk you’re still fully responsible?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/22 09:26 AM
1

Probably about 30-55%.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/22 09:25 AM

Why are you moving the goal posts? Now you’re saying they have to be drunk but at first you just said if alcohol was involved.

But once you know that about yourself wouldn’t you have the desire to make your conscious choices a bigger part of how you feel about things instead of being reliant on the mood, you could just figure out what you want and create your own mood to get in the zone for whatever that is.

Wouldn’t this only be true if you think you live in a society with no social mobility? Wouldn’t a highly motivated and skillful person that’s lower class when they’re young be more attractive than a completely unmotivated lazy middle class person who doesn’t want to be anything more than middle class? All the time there are people who started lower class making it into the middle or upper class.

It’s because if you make a mistake like that as a man you could literally be going to court, but if you make a mistake like that as a woman it’s just seen as cute or the guy should’ve given her a chance

Not every concept has an exact opposite.

Why is child support even required for families that are not even close to the poverty line then? Do you know how much money governments could save by cutting down their family court dockets and not having to assign so many attorneys only to get like $70/mo out of some poor person?

A woman rarely has to though. How often do you see court orders forcing a woman to give birth if she’s three months pregnant? The choice is still theirs.
/r/PussyPassDenied04/10/20 02:43 PM

So you’re another person that’s married somebody you don’t fully trust, or worse yet somebody that doesn’t share life forming details with people that they do fully trust? Correct? Or am I mistaken?

Where are you getting $3.70ish/g of weed????? b/c that’s a better deal than the 1/2lb I just got!!

I’d bang just to bang, but I guess as a man we’re like different species than women, right?

Sometimes I think kids should be raised Brave New World style.

No, your statement (if you're talking about the US) is only true before 1970's or so. Now our societal "tradition" has been different for like 50 years.

What if *that is exactly what they were referring to?
/r/PussyPassDenied12/05/20 02:40 PM
1

No, you said it right there: when kids are involved and in Family Court. In a county Supreme Court in NY, there is a good chance that the pre-nup at least shows intent, who is the bad actor, etc., and a Judge will try to stick to the rational parts of that agreement, while also using it as information to get a bigger, more accurate picture of the whole situation. Also, often times pre-nups basically just state what the statutes already are, but that you two won't try and fight each other despite…

Why say "every" and be wrong, when you could say "most" and be correct? You're literally in a chain where this top comment talks about reposting, and NOT something along the lines of "don't women want equality?"

Marriage is about choosing someone you think could help you take over the world. If that's better accomplished with your method, that would work, if it's better accomplished with keeping our finances separate, then that would work.

So you wouldn't want her to sacrifice her comfort in order to find her passion? Why would you want to clip the wings of your loved ones?

No, see you tried to describe reasons, which would be more acceptable. It's using this type of post as an excuse to vent anger that's annoying (more-so when it's a sexist rant/vent).
/r/MensRights11/09/18 09:48 AM

I agree. It's one thing to be neutral, it's another to use this as an excuse to get pent-up anger out.
/r/MensRights11/09/18 09:31 AM

That's fine, but then we need to call murder victims murder gift recipients if we agree with the point.

I'll get woke even sooner if people like you explain yourselves instead of just acting better than the conversation.

I feel like you are saying that without providing any substantive reason why you feel this way.

Well, I'm also sorry if I misunderstood your point. I agree with this statement: "anonymity being enforced and the viability of enacting legal consequences should the confidentiality be violated."

What about retaining an attorney? How can I stay anonymous when I have to explain my scenario to a few lawyers before I can choose one to retain? I was not a client of theirs and therefore they have no obligation to not tell people that I was at least looking for legal help with the same issue that a big arrest just happened on. If they have that obligation, do people in the waiting room of that lawyers office who overhear this conversation have the same obligation? I am not trying to challenge …

So how do you prove that someone isn't just talkative? How do you prove the intent of my friend? Maybe they were hitting on a reporter at the bar and just told them that they got questioned today, and the reporter being smart just figures it out? There are too many holes in a policy like this even if it is nice in theory.
/r/MensRights18/12/17 05:59 PM

Lol so if I was guilty I would just tell my friends to go talk about me to the media.

No, the female equivalent is toxic femininity.

Lol 100% means you think it's just as unhealthy to go out and smoke cigarettes as not. You seem very close-minded and sheltered. You are ruining your credibility.

Why not get a divorce if you feel trapped? Also, with social media, how does your husband socially isolate you? You are using reddit right now, is he with you/over your shoulder?
/r/MensRights19/07/17 05:05 PM

You can get a divorce for free if you apply for assigned counsel. You will then have around 50% of your husband's assets.
/r/MensRights19/07/17 05:04 PM

No, that person to confide in exists, just people are fucked for thinking it can only be found with romance/sex. Friends can definitely last a lifetime and can absolutely be your confidant.

IMO it makes sense that a society should want to body-shame.

Because we haven't legally ruled out exceptions. We just know her account did it, we can't KNOW yet if she was using her account even though we can infer that from the info and from common sense.

If you are so confident in your stance, why are you not challenging any of the comments that replied to you?

The law doesn't prevent things from happening, so they would still get online. The law decides what to do with people after things have happened.

So what you're saying then is he's wrong about saying we won't know if we aren't from that culture? I mean you just taught me and I'm not from that culture. He was making two points, which one did you mean to contest?
/r/PussyPassDenied05/05/17 01:21 PM

Lol yeah, read my comment about it that I just made and see if you know anyone else like that? I can't be the only young person (23 yrs) that is not glued to their mobile? I like treating my car like my backpack haha, I like having my tools in my backpack and ideally nothing in my pockets or hands at all lol
/r/PussyPassDenied18/04/17 01:08 PM

Not really. More people wanna get ahold of me than I want to reach out to. That means I always have enough stuff to do on my own. I keep my phone around as a courtesy to others, not nearly as much as a convince to me, so I think it depends how you like to socialize and use your tools. I'd rather leave my phone in my car while I hang out with my friend Nick who just had to put his dog down as why the fuck would I need my phone until when I would be leaving and moving to the next thing anyways? In…

I have a car and a charger so I'll leave it in there if I need to. Long term it is always a better investment to charge your batter well. My cell phone of the same model has been lastingly we than my peers, while I use my phone more often, for years.

Also tell people that shit so they can learn. Don't just ignore people for subjective, random, self-righteous reasons out of the blue when you were just conversing with them. Even if you do, it generally indicates more about the ignorer and their personality and tolerance of different ideas than the person being ignored.

"You're argument reads like a rant. I don't respond to rant" Holy fuck.... Who are you? Hahaha do you realize that you actually said that you VIEW it as a rant (idk why, he was very descript and had multiple points.) and that you don't respond to rants...for some in and reason, right? Like if you care about your views, how does you presenting them matter if it's a "rant" or "argument" (which are literally the same thing and subjective definitions, so they vary by person) that you're replying to.…

You're not "meant to" haha but if you want to convince people to see your side, then it's one of the better ways.
/r/MensRights08/01/17 02:47 PM

AKA: "You've got such complex and descriptive points that I would have to use my brain to reply."

Exactly, thus not being a "race".

Haha I'm saying that the rules defining that as true are cultural and not legal or "geneticist approved"

"According to Jewish law (halacha), all those born of a Jewish mother are Jewish, regardless of personal beliefs or level of observance of Jewish law." Jewish law does not trump genetics, sorry

Where do you see this? Because I wanted to confirm that fact before I said it but cannot even find out who the author is besides like a moderate from Iowa or whatever it said at the bottom.
/r/MensRights24/11/16 04:59 PM

Well would you agree that Democrats are more likely to have a similar stance on income tax than Hispanics?
/r/MensRights23/02/14 06:09 AM

No, but making generalizations about groups of people that are part of that group by choice, are generally much more accurate than gropus of people by trait, i.e. gender/hair color/race
/r/MensRights23/02/14 04:31 AM

No, but someone bombing a school does not make them mentally ill. If I was cleared of all mental illness today, and decided to prove this point tomorrow by bombing a school, would just said action make, me insane? Or was it just an insane decision?
/r/MensRights15/10/13 09:25 PM
-5

Why? Can rational people not make a few irrational points? Why (I'm assuming here) are you thinking that all bombers are insane?
/r/MensRights15/10/13 09:01 PM

YES AND IT IS A DOUBLE STANDARD THAT IS WRONG WHEN USED FOR EITHER GENDER.

He was saying libertarians to make fun of the guy calling people with a liberal arts degree liberal artists.
/r/MensRights30/05/13 01:29 PM

Well, for one thing, women have a much greater rate of failed suicide, most likely meaning that they do it for attention and men do it to not be alive anymore.
/r/MensRights12/11/12 05:48 PM
2

Just to be fair, in most mammalian species, it is the female who allows/picks the mate, while the male just tries for every one. I am not taking a side, just saying that you both have valid points.
/r/MensRights29/08/12 03:44 AM

Wait, artificial stages of delineation I personally consider the moment the umbilical cord is cut, for that tumor is it's proof that it is now a human baby, and alive. But my point being, that seems to fit the biological definition of life and although before then I still may not support abortion (depending on when) I would not consider it alive until that cut is made and the baby is not dead.
/r/MensRights29/08/12 03:40 AM

Also, talking in 'baby talk' and petting someone's head is also the definition of inhumane. Also, did you know that by cleaning my monitor off with some windex that that too was inhumane?
/r/MensRights29/08/12 03:36 AM
3

Where did he say they would support abortion? Only that they would be pro-choice. They would still want everyone to choose not to abort their fetus/blastula/cells, but support the fact that they may be wrong, along with the fact that it isn't their choice, but the preggers person's choice.
/r/MensRights29/08/12 03:35 AM

No EVERYONE should be, I never understood this. You can raise a child and feed him poorly, and raise him poorly, but if you want to stop 128 cells from dividing, well, fuck you you are a murder. You can be pro-choice AND still be pro-life. THEY ARE NOT MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE>
/r/MensRights29/08/12 03:33 AM

ok. I am a human male, so that wouldn't bother me in the least. In fact, as 'male' is a sex, and not a gender, or gender identity, it is actually probably more accurate to use. Also, I am pretty sure that there is no such thing as 'overly-clinical'. It either is or it isn't. AND if YOU are being technical, BallsackTBaghard, had the " ' ' " marks around "females" so no need to go into species or anything. And I know, I didn't format well and I probably have grammatical errors as well. You know wh…

I agree with you, but he said "pathological liar" meaning that that it was constant and probably intended and thought out over a long span of time. Unlike making out with five guys in one night, especially if she was single then who cares?

Spot on chap! (not actually english; just enjoying some 'herb' tonight)
/r/MensRights13/01/12 07:09 AM

Now I have to ask. How does sharing saliva and moving a muscle (or a few actually) that aids in chewing around make someone morally equivalent to a pathological liar?
