Male, single, pill that doesnt belong. My purpose in life is to do my duty so that my speck of the world is the best it can be. My purpose is to be there for people. My purpose is to suffer and rise above so that I may become something greater. I pursue it until I perish. My secondary purpose is to enjoy that which is given to me or earned.

If I had to sum it up in one word it would be stability. Everything normally associated with masculinity is a move towards greater stability.

B. Because I believe the cons either dont matter in the long run, or something that, given enough attention, can be mitigated by growth.

No problem. Though re-reading it feels a lot like I was passively dismissing some points. I wrote "care" many times. But I believe it accurately reflects the time we live in, from my perspective: that no one truly cares, especially when it comes to men. As long as we get ours, who cares?

For society as a whole you could argue it is bad as video games generally …

Speaking only for myself: I like being alone, partially due to my brain wiring, partially due to how I view humans and relationships and the rest due to experience. I tend to see them solely by a cost-benefit analysis. Although im young (20's) I see them becoming more costly and less beneficial. I'm working with my therapist to try to undo years of learned behavior so that I can at least give relationships a try without self sabotage. I guess to answer your question, I'm fine with being alone, h…

Long time lurker, 23 here. Incel probably but don't give a fuck anymore. Never knew the touch of a woman. If you hunt something long enough you grow to hate your quarry. Found this reddit on a dark angry night, kept reading, findings were validated externally. Burnt many bridges. Never looked back, never regretted. Getting away from society has done more for my depression than anything in 5 years of therapy and medication did.
