The only thing i dont trust myself with is my need for justice. She has hurt and wronged so many people that she was able to just walk away from because no one wanted to put in the effort to hold her accountable.

I found out she had 2 kids she never told me about that she lost custody of due to abuse. And Ive had my life destroyed because I raised my voice when I found out she was trying to have an affair.

Im here with you bud, currently going through the divorce process and while i have alot of support from everyone around me, the courts seemed to be rigged against men. The 2 magistrates i am dealing with refuse to see evidence, refuse to listen to anything I say. I doubt I will ever get the closure i need and at this point i am wondering why I should have any trust for women, the court system or myself for that matter. The entire system seems to be dead set on punishing men based off of the word…

How do avoid leaving the home if you have a bogus civil protection order that forces you out of it?

How do you pay for a lawyer when a bogus civil protection order forces you to pay all of her bills?

I can only speak from my current experience, men get completely screwed in Ohio apparently. My stbe filed a bogus civil protection order to cover up her affair. When the initial interaction with the police happened she told them I have never been abusive(physically, mentally or emotionally)which is true, she just wanted me out of the house. At the initial hearing, that she scheduled on the day of the most important cancer scan of my life (1st scan after biopsy, after 3 years of remission)she tel…

Im trying, I really am. Spite and anger seem to be the only things that are keeping me moving forward. I have to hold everything in all the time though and it is eating me alive

I think staying with my mom would be much worse for my mental health and not good for hers either. As much anger as I feel about the entire situation, I know she is just as angry and me stbx. She recently had a health scare (she will be 80 this year) and I do go to her house to check on her alot more recently but she is very susceptible to stress and anxiety, I know when my oldest brother went through his divorce she had some pretty serious health issues caused by the stress of that.

Ive been going to the gym alot more recently (mostly because thats where I need to take a shower at when I dont have the money for a hotel or cant find a couch to sleep on). Due to my surgery after my treatments I cant do much running (half of my left thigh was removed, and a pretty big chunk of my right thigh). I have been trying to rebuild the muscle that was cut out but it is slow going. Thank you for the support, I really do appreciate all the people that took the time to send a reply, it do…

Im sorry youre going through so much. I hope your treatments go smoothly and you come through everything stronger than before. I know stress and anxiety makes everything with our health even worse (especially with cancer). I know that if my cancer does come back there currently isnt any treatment options as my treatment was pretty extreme the first time and there isnt much more that can be done. If you need any help, advice or just someone to talk to (about your divorce, your treatments or just …

You can message me anytime, I will respond when I see the message (dont think im ignoring you, im just not very good with reddit). Im going through a rough divorce as well, and i feel i cant talk to anyone just due to the humiliation and shame I feel about how everything occurred. Neither you or i are alone, i think we all may just need to accept that its ok to ask for help during these things. Im rooting for you friend, we can get through this, we arent the first people to have this happen, we …

I know, it was late and I haven't been sleeping well and just the stress and frustration came to a boiling point and I needed to vent to a community that I thought would understand. I appreciate the advice and support.

I will try, I appreciate the support. Its humiliating to have to tell all of this to friends and family, so online seemed like the best place for me to reach out. The humiliation and depressing aspect of all of this make it very hard to have a conversation with anyone in real life without feeling like they will always remember how I was treated.

I appreciate the support and advice. Im really trying to stay positive and even keeled about everything but it is extremely tough, not to mention i am on some medications that mess with my testosterone level where they will spike for a few days after I take it and the slowly drop off until my next dose, has to do with damage to my kidneys from the chemo. It doesnt make me violent or anything but I seem to not be able to tolerate bullshit very well. I could always fake it before but I am aware th…
