Some of them are but it's our work to put them in their place not yours. Doesn't happen. You not a MRA but a troll who hates man have opinion who are sometimes négative about woman. Just because I'm not an MRA doesn't mean I'm a troll. Calling out the incels and misogynists doesn't make me troll, no matter how much you want it to.

Not trolling, I was participating with my honest opinion. But I'm not going to leave just because you guys get your panties in a twist that I think this sub has become over run with misogynists' and incels. Can you seriously look at some of the replies in this thread and tell me their not blatantly misogynistic?

Simple as that. Block us, delete the updates and leave. Nah

You think slavery hasn't affected our society? I'm actually not shocked at all.
/r/MensRights28/08/22 01:49 AM

I never said it created either. I was listing things that happened to our society, not things our society created.

OUR society. Showing pretty clearly here that there's only one specific group you care about right now, and that doesn't shock me at all.

most despicable thing to ever happen to our society You're right, the enslavement of african americans and the near-genocide of native americans has nothin' on feminism.

Ah yes, the old "If it's not happening in my overwrought and clearly ridiculous example, then it's not happening at all" argument. I'm not at ALL surprised that this sub is taking "having caution on a first date with a stranger" straight to "ARGH FEMINISM BAD"
/r/MensRights27/08/22 11:37 PM

They're not "afraid to meet in public", they're unwilling when he specifically wants it to be near his home. If someone asks me to their house on a first date, I say no, and then they're like "Okay, but how about REALLY close to my house?" Then it's just going to continue to set off those sketch vibes. This isn't a men's rights issue. This is a guy who gets told "no" to something any reasonable person might say "no" to and then complains.

You mean the fetus that has neither sapience nor the ability to sustain itself without the mother? The thing that could be entirely unwanted, unplanned, and yet is still going to cause permanent damage to the body that hosts it? Because there's only one person in a situation where a woman is pregnant with a child, and it's not the fetus. That is not yet a person. Women have a right to bodily autonomy, despite what the majority of people on the sub seem to think.

I'm not disagreeing that CNN isn't perfect and has flaws, and shouldn't be trusted as a "unbiased" source. It's not even CLOSE to the same category as Infowars, which is a straight up conspiracy theory garbage fest hosted by a lunatic.

Recommending Infowars as a less biased alternative to CNN is like offering battery acid as a healthy alternative to coca cola.

So I'm not the person you responded to, but I have a few questions about this. All this document really does is state that "false reports" explicitly should be used to refer to reports PROVEN to be false. And frankly, I agree with that. Except... A baseless report is one in which it is determined that the incident does not meet the elements of the crime, but is presumed truthful. Why would we presume ALL "baseless reports" are truthful? If we assume only the ones proved false are false, why not …

Jesus, you sound like the feminists on TwoX and FDS that claim women are always the victim and cannot reach male levels of violence. Just flipped and claiming men cannot be manipulative. You are either a diluted idiot or a troll from FDS. There's, unfortunately a fair amount of that here. It's usually a bit more level headed/reasonable than the two subs you mentioned, but there is definitely a subset of users here who would feel right at home in TwoX and FDS if they were female instead of male.
/r/MensRights02/06/21 11:43 AM
6

So there's not posts in this subs about how unfair it is that men are labeled as more likely to be sexual predators, or abusers? So this sub doesn't mind when we point out that men are more dangerous than women? That they are more likely to be deviant sexual predators? Because, again, both points are statistically accurate.
/r/MensRights06/05/21 10:08 PM
6

So it should be said that men commit more murder? Or that men commit more violent crime in general? Or that men commit more sexual violence than women? These are all statistically true, of course, and yet this sub rails against those very same statements as "generalizations" and "biases".
/r/MensRights06/05/21 10:04 PM

If that's the case, then simply existing on reddit is cringe, as the entire website is based on "something someone said on the internet". Besides, I find responding to what was actually posted to be a lot less cringe than randomly disregarding certain facts just because you really really want to vilify the women who posted it.
/r/PussyPass30/04/21 08:47 PM

It's all claims. It's not like there was a news story linked about the child being taken by the mother. The entire story is the claim of the poster, not just the bits that paint them in a good light. There's no point in reading a post and going "Let me only believe the things that fit my narrative". You may as well operate on the assumption that, unless provided with something indicating otherwise, that the poster is telling the truth. If you're just going to pick and choose what to believe in a…

/r/PussyPass30/04/21 08:30 PM

So I'm sure that all those stories about fathers bravely "kidnapping" their children from negligent mothers who barely even seem to care, you condemn those fathers too, right? Think they should be shunned and scorned for breaking the law?
/r/PussyPass30/04/21 07:15 PM
-3

Did you miss the part where the father was abusive towards the mother, and completely neglecting the child? As well as not even caring enough to attempt to get his child back after the mom "kidnapped" her, as you say? Or are you purposefully leaving those out so someone will read your ragebait post title and upvote without checking into it any further?

The number of people justifying it by saying that she may have ended up having to pay child support and how it would have "ruined her life" is fucking mind boggling. The cognitive dissonance in how people view a woman paying child support vs. a man paying child support hurts my heart.

I think fat people are fine, just like any one of us. But to promote obesity as healthy is fucking dangerous.. Dude, I'm obese as shit and I HATE the fat acceptance bullshit. It's literally going to get people killed. I am working my ass off to lose weight, and it's hard as hell, but every time someone tells me to stop trying to lose weight because I'm "perfect", I tell them fuck right off for trying to prevent me from saving my own life.

They don't have to, because this law applies to all prostitutes. The title of the thread is just misleading specifically to make it seem like it's sexist.

I think it's about if the deception is about the sexual act itself. If you lie about who is involved (i.e., a boyfriend swapping out with his buddy for blindfolded sex), if you lie about the act itself (pretending to wear a condom but not actually wearing one, etc), I think those could be considered rape or rape adjacent.

Don't let all the MGTOW and crazy people on reddit convince you that you should "Avoid women" until you're in your thirties. Saying that is no different than the women who say that women should "Avoid men" because men do all these terrible things. The vast majority of people are decent, relatively kind, and just looking for happiness. It is a very small minority who do the kind of things that get plastered all over this sub.

Maybe instead of focusing on all the negative shit in life focus on positives and make your own decisions. Don't go about your life saying "well actually men...." as if it controls your life. It doesn't. Posts like this are meant to scapegoat taking any kind of responsibility for yourself. If 1/4 women are sexually assaulted in their lifetime, and 1/4 is less than "most" women (since it means 3/4 of women are NOT sexually assault), does that mean you think when women complain rape it is whining …

I think both behaviours aren't right: telling her not in advance that he's not interested in something serious I mean, I'd say it's both of their faults in this situation. If you're going to start engaging with someone romantically/sexually, you need to clarify what each party is looking for, before you starting getting intimate/attached. Good lord, this is hilarious to me: Cultural Feminism Cultural Feminism holds that women and men are essentially different and that women are generally more nurturing, more empathic, and less violent than men. Cultural Feminists seek to celebrate these qualities, which they believe have been oppressed by men. You literally can't win. Woman fight to no longer be viewed as the "softer sex" - there's a form of feminism who are fighting against men suppressing their ability to be the "softer sex". U…

You're right, but we do use their service, which they are free to deny us at any time. Until the platform/publisher argument is settled, it's irrelevant, legally speaking. As of right now, the first amendment means exactly squat in regards to reddit.
/r/MensRights30/06/20 11:28 PM
1

....no they don't. The first amendment limits governmental power over our freedom of speech. Companies can fire you for hate speech, or even ban you from their platform. Do you think if free speech was universal and all-encompassing, so many websites/companies would have hate speech rules?
/r/MensRights30/06/20 09:18 PM
1

I wasn't aware that Reddit was a governmental entity that had to abide by the first amendment. I'm not saying I support censoring of hate speech; I don't. However, there's a difference between a "no hate speech" rule and a "no hate speech unless it's against 'the majority' rule.
/r/MensRights30/06/20 09:04 PM
3

Then I'm surprised you honestly think there's a chance that the rules will be enforced equally, especially when they are so clearly written to allow prejudice against the groups it's "Okay to hate". I hope you're more correct than I am.
/r/MensRights30/06/20 04:26 PM

You know that may be a violation of patient autonomy (right to do what you want with your body) which is taken seriously in medicine This happens all the time, both to men and women. Women are prevented from getting their tubes tied/being sterilized due to age, husband's consent, even future potential husband's possible objections. This isn't really a gendered problem, more of a "bodily autonomy" problem in general.
/r/MensRights30/06/20 01:12 PM
1

it's hard to know whether rules would be enforced equally. New to reddit, huh?
/r/MensRights30/06/20 09:56 AM
1

I think the problem is the unequal application of the rule. If the rule was just "no hate speech", it would be bad from a censorship standpoint, but at least it wouldn't be purposefully allowing only certain groups to be targeted.

I literally just made the some point as you. Are you going to basically be the same kind of crazy that feminists are, where everything bad is women and men are oppressed in every possible way? There are shitty men and shitty women. If you genuinely think misogyny doesn't exist, you're a fool. Its just not anywhere near the national conspiracy they make it out to be.
/r/MensRights15/05/20 12:35 AM

And maybe misandry is from women abused by men all their lives and it's a reasonable reaction. OR some people ARE just assholes who have hateful traits like misandry and misogyny sometimes.

Can you say the same? I mean, yeah, but mainly because I don't follow the news. Look, you have a valid point - gun crime is definitely an issue in America, and to be fair, I never said it wasn't. I think that the issue is not how easily people are able to get firearms (at least when it comes to how easily they can legally get firearms). There are a variety of cultural issues at play, but the amount of legal firearm owners is not part of the problem, in my opinion. Do you have a link to America b…

It happens because disagreeing with it is so aggressively painted as "misogyny" that most of the time when its brought up in media or official conversation, no one is willing to speak out against it for fear of being immediately labeled a "woman hater", instead of just someone speaking the truth. It's the same reason people catch so much shit for saying that maybe we shouldn't cut a piece of a boy's penis off after birth, since we don't do that for girls. Instead of admitting that they are both …
/r/MensRights14/05/20 11:15 AM

To be fair, misogyny is definitely real. There are definitely people who hate women just for being women. The problem comes when feminists want to act like it is some systemic, government-sponsored and supported national hatred past time, or like every single negative thing that ever happens to any woman ever is surely the result of the entirety of mankind hating women for having vaginas. Instead of just, you know, the consequences of their decisions, which is what it (usually) is.

Honestly, the same is true for men. If you completely drop your standards, 99.9% can get laid easily, outside of having a personality so repulsive that it terrifies the person you are trying to get with. Men who "can't get laid" (which is usually due to their standards being too high) just get more internet air time because it makes a better "lol look at this loser thinking he deserves this hottie" type of social media content.

While not exactly a right per se, it is illegal to mutilate a woman's genitals after birth. It is not illegal to mutilate a man's genitals, and is in fact often encouraged by medical personnel. These aren't even fair comparisons, considering that the women spiked their drinks. Even the detestable "defenses" of rape listed aren't really used for getting a drink spiked/date-raped, which is the "robbery = rape" equivalency those comments are trying to make.

Courts can and have overturn binding agreements if they decide it wasn't "fair". So in theory signing that agreement could protect him, but in practice it might not. The problem is when banks purposefully organize and rearrange your credits/debits in order to hit you with multiple overdraft fees at once. Say, if you have $3.00 in your account and make a $50.00 purchase that causes your account to overdraft. So would you be okay with a little aesthetic trimming of your (possibly hypothetical) daughter's labia? Nothing major, just taking off about a quarter inch from the inner and outer labia lips. I'd say the big difference is that one would have the woman swarmed is questions of, "Is he controlling you?" "Does he treat you okay?" "That's a sign of abuse, you know." As opposed to the man, who would get, at best, a "That's messed up" and at worst: "Pussy whipped, lol". Sometimes it's the reactions that show the unfairness, as opposed to the actions themselves.
/r/MensRights24/07/17 10:05 PM

This is a good point. No one should deny that a man can defend himself physically - but just like in any physical altercation, unless you feel a real and immediate threat to yourself, hitting first is assault. Hitting a person (male or otherwise) because you want to end an argument, or because they are annoying and won't let it go, is NOT okay. A PPD is if he said, "She keeps arguing, and when you argue back she slaps you, you slap her right back." That's not what he's saying.

You know, when I first came here I took a somewhat similar stance, to be honest. What really opened my eyes was hearing this: "We had our daughters outer vulva clipped a shortly after birth, but it was just some extra skin. For cosmetic reasons, itll look more normal. Plus it'll be easier to keep clean!" That's a repulsive thing to hear, as not should be, and it's no different than circumcision.

Shotguns aren't the insanely short range thing you see in movies and video games. A 12-gauge shotgun blast from 30-40 feet will still have a lot of penetrative power on an unarmored person.
