👊🏻👁️👁️ 🥉 Every time I bring up the fact that I don't mind hooking up with married women on here, someone says "did you tell the husband?" And it's really the most naive thing anyone could ask. True, some folks don't seem to realize, or don't want to admit, how utterly callous some people are. Because they have a sense of empathy and/or basic morality they can't seem to grasp that some not only actively choose evil but even revel in it. idc about him. That's not a flex. None of what you're doing …

your boyfriend’s niece bursts into tears and hides behind her parents. while your boyfriend laughs and tells you she hasn’t forgiven him for enforcing bedtime last time he babysat. That's not a normal reaction to mere enforcement of a schedule. Sounds like that poor girl got abused under the guise of "bedtime." In this hypothetical (at least I hope it's only a hypothetical) I'd be seriously side-eyeing my bf's reaction to that because how ignorant is he and/or how normalized is this in his famil…

So what you're saying is men should be absolved of all responsibility for the families they participate in the creation of. I say any man who'd refuse to take accountability for his own actions and how said actions impact the other people involved, if he's hell-bent on not changing his selfish mindset and ways, should opt for celibacy instead of roping a woman into any level of romantic/sexual relationship with him since he is clearly not properly suitable for marriage and fatherhood.

I don't know if the buck should stop somewhere. Well we have to balance individual needs with societal needs. Society can't cover for every single less than ideal parenting situation without something else of equal or greater importance getting dropped in the process. I figure there are already at least some procedures in place for situations like what you mentioned though.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/26 02:01 PM

One could say the same about any child under the age of being old enough to become an emancipated minor. The buck has to stop somewhere. And I'm not particularly knowledgeable about this but there must already exist adoption procedures parents who want to give their toddlers up can make use of.

👊🏻👁️👁️ 🥉 What are your thoughts on safe haven laws? I think they serve a valid purpose. what is it about that 30 day number that the state picks? If there was no age limit then parents would be dropping off their toddlers, children, adolescents, and maybe even teenagers. Which ofc would cause extra levels of trauma that just aren't the case with infants, not to mention society would end up having to pick up the slack for all that abdication of parental responsibility somehow.

👊🏻👁️👁️ 🥈 Imv, marriage is more than a mere contract; it's a covenant. That doesn't mean there isn't recourse for abuse victims (there is) but the way secular society treats marriage as disposable is reprehensible.

"Coming second to his boys" indicates him not ever prioritizing her. In a successful romantic relationship and its eventual subsequent marriage a guy has to learn that his boys can't be top priority all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 03:30 PM

That depends on the individuals and relationship dynamics involved. Not every circumstance is the same. So yeah, some may be as you describe but it's a certainty not all are.

It's not insecurity but rather self-respect if their issue is that their bfs/husbands are neglecting them for friends; that's a problem because those guys need to balance the different relationships in their social circles properly.

There's also the fact that many side-pieces consider it a flex to "steal" another woman's bf or husband and they'll gloat about it (is it pathetic and pickme of them to do that? Yes. But still, it heaps even more pain onto the woman to see her bf or husband simping for such a hoe.)

There have been surveys showing that basically all demographics of men and women are more willing to say that cheating is always wrong when men do it versus when women do it. Well those people are wrong. Cheating is always wrong no matter whether it's a man or a woman who does it. society actually downplays women's cheating more than men's. Sounds similar to one of the Sexual Revolution notions that instead of calling out men's promiscuity and raising the overall standard of morality, women deci…

True, but there are women who have been inflicted with literal cancer from cheating men's nasty STDs they contracted from their side-pieces. And women who found out about two-timing men's whole other families existing elsewhere. And women suffering through pregnancy and postpartum (as if that's not hard enough on its own) all while getting cheated on. Society teaches that men are dumb pri…

Fair enough if you're referring to dating and it sounds like you are, but I've seen people get butthurt over picky eaters (sensory issues or not) just existing near them lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 03:08 AM
3

I associate sensory issues with kids. That's your own misconception. People of all ages can suffer from sensory issues. Vegetarians usually have a diverse palate. Vegetarians cut out an entire food group, that is by definition less diverse of a diet. And not all people with sensory issues fit the stereotype of only ever eating ultraprocessed junk or whatever.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 01:35 AM
2

Exactly, putting vegetarianism and allergies in the same category is insane to me. Sensory issues aren't allergies, but they fit much better in the same box than an elective diet does.

This made me think that most young women prefer bad boys You can't extrapolate her piss-poor mindset and behavior onto all young women. Yes terrible people unfortunately exist but each person is an individual. I've never heard my female friends or seen online discussions where women fantasize about kind, genuinely good male characters. The former could be sampling bias, and the latter isn't very representative of real life. He made sure it happened after the last time they had sex so he knew he …

I remember exploring there when I was still newish to Reddit (it was one of the first subs recommended to me) and scrolling through post after miserable post I thought "dang, this is a women's subreddit, yet as a woman I really can't relate to many of these posts. What a sad place." Then one day my husband (not a Redditor but knows about it) and I were talking about it and he enlightened me on why it is the way it is and suddenly it all made sense.

As a woman, that author's advice sucks, except the part about "someone who wants an equal... Someone who values fairness and expects or, even better, wants to do his share in the home." But that should be a requirement from the beginning of dating for discerning future marriage, not slutting around with whoever and then setting standards. What a needlessly reckless and counterproductive way of doing things she recommends! And I agree with you, her AF/BB approach is a degrading humiliation ritual…

Hopping in and out of LTRs “looking for the one” is basically the same as casual sex. Not enough people realize this. To add my hot take: Unless they're waiting all the way until marriage, they are in fact having "casual" sex. The only difference is the degree of promiscuity, but it's all promiscuity.

Your specifics didn't show physical threats See, you're moving the goalposts like I said. Coercion isn't solely about physical threatening. In a nutshell, OP's proposed policy is based on: a self-entitled mentality (the men arguing for this feel entitled to women) treating women like commodities instead of people encouraging toxic relationships (on both sides) If you want more elaboration on the above concise outline you can scroll back to all my other replies and find everything you need there. Women aren’t entitled to relationships Correct, nobody is entitled to relationships. after giving sex Sex isn't something which should be "given" (or "taken" either) outside of marriage, and even in marriage mutual love and respect should be paramount.

More baseless conjecture. Repeating a falsehood doesn't make it true. You keep loading assumptions like they are facts No, I addressed problems with OP's stance in concrete terms with specific questions. Someone who is willingly doing something and has the ability to remove themselves from the situation whenever they want is not a slave. And that's clearly not what's going on in OP's scenario. A relationship is not just about sex. I never claimed it is. Nice strawman though. You're spitting in t…

Baseless Ad hominem Bro, read the replies ITT. Multiple male commenters are literally telling on themselves. say both are true. So you're literally arguing for sex slavery. Thank you for proving my point. It still wouldn't be coercion. Using your logic, if any immigrant comes here on a revocable visa, it's instantly coercion Do those other revocable visas include sex slavery as a legal requirement? No? Then they're not the same thing. Don't pretend otherwise, you're just embarrassing yourself.

Explain how the government would be forcing or threatening anyone. Would there be legal ramifications such as (but not limited to) deportation if the woman wanted to leave the "relationship?" Would the woman have freely chosen to be with that man in the first place if moving to his country had been accessible to her without doing so? What the government allows a "dating visa" ; women are allowed to move to the U.S, as long as they are dating a preapproved man who is having a hard time finding a girlfriend there are enough women in the 3rd world to supply every man in the 1st world with a girlfriend. The anti-porn stance itself isn't misandry, but there are ways some may attempt to twist it into something else, for example hypocritical women claiming porn is good for women but bad for men in the same way they will yell "sEx WoRk iS rEaL wOrk" and cheer on prostitutes while in the same breath scolding said prostitutes' male simps/punters as if both groups are not supporting the same vice. Ladies, how do you justify shaming men for watching porn, while at the same time labeling men who don't want their girlfriends to watch porn as insecure? I don't do that. I'm entirely against porn for everyone. not wanting my GF to watch porn because I think it's unhealthy to fantasize about other people while in a relationship. Are they only attracted to gold-digging prostitutes? And if they're doing all that just for "casual" hookups it's not a wise choice and it's less than meaningfully productive. Decent work ethic of some sort (and I don't mean being a workaholic slave to the company or wherever one's occupation is, just not lazy) should be something everyone, not only men, cultivate within themselves as a positive character trait which helps level up one's personal integrity.

would be more beneficial for us as a society if she shifted priorities. I don't think so. Society consists of individuals therefore individual welfare matters alongside collective welfare. It isn't wrong for anyone to have meaningful personal goals as a (not the only, but a) priority and still help others too. We are human beings, not mere cogs in a machine. Not to mention making marriage a mere cold transaction does damage to society too because couples are likewise part of society. If we shift…

Do you care if they would otherwise want to get married but the law has turned marriage into sex slavery, thereby inhibiting their right to make certain healthy choices for their lives? Just because it isn't personally affecting you doesn't mean it doesn't matter; that's shortsighted and frankly a rather narcissistic view of the world. Make community, friendship, charity and neighborliness the basis of community instead of romantic relationships. There's ample room for both. Both are important in society. They can all be achieved. I agree that men should wait Based. 🥂 most men won’t wait unless sex is not available due to the women waiting. If they truly value the purpose of waiting, then they'll practice what they preach. But if they hold a double standard, they are hypocrites and therefore are unworthy of women who are waiting.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 09:50 AM

What will f***boys do if women are not allowing sex until marriage? Would they get married? They would likely get married, but their marriages wouldn't be healthy because their values would be incompatible with their wives' and they'd only be getting married for sex and not love as well. You can't absolve men of their own accountability by making women the sole gatekeepers; it takes both sexes to hold themselves and each other accountable for their own actions to create healthy thriving relation…

Men and women would be better if men were AroAce everyone not called to celibacy practiced self-control by waiting until marriage for sex. FTFY. lust is basically a sin Yes but simply having a libido/feeling attraction is not a sin, nor is acting on said libido/attraction within marriage (provided there is mutual love and respect in said marital relations.) Sex isn't an inherent evil; that all depends on how it's handled.

I never felt desired. My second girlfriend cheated on me with a better-looking guy she met once. Here is the root of your insecurity, which is understandable. But whoring around with a bunch of randos isn't going to solve that in the long run. It's something you need to work out spiritually and/or in therapy.

Abusers are real. Yeah, nobody said otherwise. Chad is not real. From what I have gathered, yes many manosphere guys consider any other guy they're jealous of to be "Chad" and ofc that isn't based in reality. But at the same time, "Chad" can often be "the one who got away" or the toxic ex-bf a woman cheats with, and this does happen in reality albeit not at exactly the scale RPers claim. That's the thing about manosphere rhetoric though - they'll take a teeny-tiny grain of truth and warp it into…

it's meant to be about the cycle of abuse and re-traumatization more than anything else. Anyone can add such a statement and pretentiously call anything deep art, especially if the cinematography is skilled as Eggers' always is. And that's not even to say there can't actually be fine-art elements woven in. But it does fit u/Past-Shoulder-631 's description (btw so-called "Chads" can be abusers too; it doesn't have to be either/or) moreso than any waxing poetic about some deeper meaning imho. Gra…

This isn't exactly the hardest-hitting issue but as far as I can tell there should be some grace given for manspreading, within reason. Obviously if a guy is on a crowded train hogging up more than one person's worth of a bench that's rude and uncalled for, but 'nads do get in the way sometimes and they'll get painfully squished if a dude isn't ever allowed to spread his legs apart a bit when he sits down. Duty is its own motivation. I can see how that must be the case for you, because it's the only tool you have which can help guide you to live by a code that isn't always just about your own whims. It is the case to some extent for the rest of us too, but it tends to also be balanced out with conscience and other considerations alongside duty.

Fair enough. 🍻 Pleas elaborate. If one would certainly leave if not for desperation and/or any other reason that doesn't include truly caring about the other person, there's no actual mutual love between the people involved in that relationship. There's no real bond with the other person because it's about whatever one gets materially and/or how much one is trapped against their will and not about the actual relationship with who the other person actually is, so anyone could fill that role and i…

What I don't understand is why people that say that having a relationship is actually a priority for them would reject an avenue to get and keep one. Because our real priority is about the quality of the relationship, not getting into any available relationship for the sake of merely being in one. The vast majority of us don't consider it a quality relationship when the foundation of said relationship is having "no reason to stay" other than desperation; being without a relationship is better th…

women are affected by what you could call a form of compulsory HOMOsexuality as many women feel pressured to experiment and embrace queer identities. I believe it! Women also feel pressure to repress their desires toward men This is also a thing, in certain circles.

Do straight women actually exist? Of course! I'm 100% straight myself and I know I'm far from the only one. Women do you agree most women are somewhat gay or is it not as common as pop culture has made us believe Definitely the latter. I think social conditioning from porn and certain political narratives have a lot to do with women nowadays experimenting with certain things when they otherwise might not have ever felt any inclination to do so. Long term healthy relationships are better than just fucking around, its the marriage part that sucks. If those long-term so-called healthy relationships are really so great, marital commitment can only add to them not subtract. And, hot take: IMV when it comes right down to it, without real commitment LTRs are "fucking around" (I presume the "partners" are not abstinent in the scenario you speak of), albeit to a lesser degree of promiscuity than, say, having ONS. Right, and even if it's not popular with the audience (as in the audience actually agreeing with what's being said) the audience who see it in their algorithm will still click on it simply because it's today's version of Jerry Springer.

if you're not happy with your casual/hookup thing you can just quit or find someone else It's not quite so simple. There can be lingering negative consequences from that behavior which most people don't even bother to properly think through beforehand. And a selfish pattern as habituated in hookup culture is often what causes shoddy marriages in the first place.

It isn't impossible for most people to obtain both attraction and other compatibility in their future spouses, provided they put in the work required to actually find the right person. I did it, and I'm not special. Yes it took effort and time but the wait was well worth it, especially compared to what happens when one isn't so patient and selective.

I really don't get why so many people insist it must be one (attraction) or the other (compatibility in other areas.) An optimal relationship and marriage requires both! That madonna-whore/AF-BB mindset sure exposes one of the reasons why there are so many divorces though...

That's correct, because if I got there too late (after there were multiple replies posted around the same time) it became impossible for me to tell which order they were in, whereas if I limit it to comments only and forbid any comments under AutoMod from counting then I can always tell the proper order no matter when I show up.

if one does not know their partner is cheating, ignorance is bliss. an individual can enjoy the entirety of a relationship totally unaware, and how they view their relationship never changes. STD risk aside, oftentimes in that situation the betrayed person instinctively knows something isn't right but can't quite put their finger on it. So it isn't exactly true that their perception of the relationship doesn't change; they just don't always know why it has changed. But the unease is nonetheless …

I'm not surprised at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 01:13 PM

Self hating white women anxiety disorder. Oh, right. I didn't read the article but I watched a YouTube commentary about this not too long ago. She said people shouldn't be hating on them bc the gf is Iranian (ethnically) and Iran is getting bombed by Trump? And the husband wrote a snarky "free Palestine uwu" response when the reported asked him why he sent her that crazy rude email. Yikes. So, that's the sort of people they all are. Yep, it all tracks negl. Sad.

I think It's best to just remain abstinent until I get a wife Based, I wholeheartedly recommend that! It's what I did (but replace the word "wife" with "husband" since I'm a woman haha.) I've met a lot of couples who say they regret waiting It should be noted that's not because of the premarital abstinence in and of itself. There are always other factors in those cases from what I've observed, such as purity culture, deception, etc. I don't regret my decision, but then those other factors don't …
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 12:43 AM

Yeah I always wonder how these other women keep getting this particular type of message. Even when I was single I (thankfully) never got a dih pic, meanwhile my peers would complain a lot about experiencing that. I have gotten hit on both online and in person, sometimes inappropriately so, yet somehow even the pervy guys have always drawn a line at dih pix when it came to their interactions with me. Maybe I've somehow emanated an aura of "Don't even try that with me" and scared them off lol.

Yeah they're conveniently ignoring the first obvious consideration, which is the question of what must have happened in this woman's life to cause her to lack self-respect and therefore settle for this abuse.

Most relationships start by people hooking up. But they don't have to. Also, how many of those actually progress to marriage and last? If they didn't find something attractive about you people wouldn't want to be around your or hookup That doesn't mean they love you. It doesn't even mean they particularly like you either. People in the hookup scene use each other all the time.

I think this question was the easiest to answer True but it's not even that she didn't answer the other questions; it's that she answered them dishonestly. it make sense an insecure guy would act like this. Nah, insecurity is understandable, and even breaking up over an insecurity is understandable depending on the circumstances, but this guy took it way too far (to the point of violence!) and clearly projected at least some of his own insecurity onto her. That being said: the believability of t…

I wouldn't go so far as to say that, but it is true that many men want children like a child wants a puppy - they expect their wives (eta: or gfs, or whatever) to do all the work while they have all the fun and worse yet, they have no real consideration for what women actually go through during pregnancy and birth - in some cases even after having witnessed it firsthand, which seems straight-up sociopathic to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/26 05:34 AM
2

No it isn't. It's simply saying both bad men and good men exist, which is a literal fact. Insisting all men are bad is misandry, just as insisting all women are bad is misogyny. Neither misogyny nor misandry are acceptable. They are two sides of the same toxic coin.

in your story, soldiers were seen as tools. Yeah but I'm celebrating a person who treated them like the human beings they were. I'm not celebrating the Roman Empire's status quo. Especially useful for women who can claim victimhood and hide behind their big strong meat shields. Men have by far superior physical strength to women, so they're inherently biologically better at effectively fighting and thereby preserving national security. But that being said, plenty (I'd even say likely most of us)…

I’m catholic too. made up marketing fest. Well that's not all it is. I'm Catholic, so this holiday also holds religious significance for me as the feast day of a Saint. Its connection to romance originated from St. Valentine having conducted secret weddings for Roman soldiers (they weren't legally allowed to marry because the state treated them as nothing more than war tools and therefore deemed love and families too distracting from their work.) /r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 06:06 PM

It’s not being a bad actor to be prudent. Jumping to conclusions about people based on group traits that aren't inherent to character isn't being prudent. Or shall I remind you of the enlightened choice women widely made between the bear and the man? You don't understand what it's like to be a woman, which is normal since you are not one. But surely you can sympathize with the fact that rape is a very real threat for women. That doesn't mean every man is automatically a suspect, but if we're tal…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 05:29 PM

we cannot combat misogyny effectively if we ignore the other side of the sexism coin, i.e., misandry. Sexism on both sides is interconnected, and each one feeds the other. Exactly. I'm neither misandrist nor misogynist but when it comes to sexism, I've noticed there are at least two obvious causes involved: One is bad personal experience with the opposite sex, whether that be due to a self-fulfilling prophecy (more on this later) or the misfortune of having been raised within or otherwise having…

My fellow PPDers (at least those of you who aren't literal bots) aren't my sworn enemies. And I don't hate men. I never even claimed there's anything wrong with the gf paying for some of the dates and therefore doing some of the asking out after the first date (in fact that's a healthy thing to do in d…

Redpill and FDS are both utter irredeemable trash because they both push Dark Triad behavior as a mating strategy. Yes exactly. They each take a tiny grain of truth - liars and cheaters of the opposite sex exist and they should be vetted against - but then twist that into an excuse to be liars and cheaters themselves and they often don't even vet properly either so they keep dating toxic types which only further serves their misogynistic/misandric delusions. So you're selling the idea that the m…

Female Dating Strategy is a thing - they use it as a weapon, a bargaining chip. Yeah, FDS are toxic even though they could be giving some solid advice (warning women about these types of men) if they'd just take the hypocrisy and misandry out of it. Much like how the redpill may contain some solid advice (warning men about AF/BB types) if only they'd take the hypocrisy and misogyny out of it. Don't "chase" a woman. If she's into you, she'll let it be known. DEFINITELY never, ever pay for her mea…

I don’t know why he felt he wanted me to know this information, I think I do... and I will also never forget the look on his face when he saw I clearly wasn’t impressed That's probably why - he wanted you (and likely people in general because I doubt you're the only person he told) to admire him as a so-called "chad." Which reeks of insecurity with which he's badly coping.

Imv the literal point of dating is marriage. Have certainty that you don't wanna get married eventually? Don't date. Figured out you don't want to marry a particular gf (or bf, if the sexes are reversed) you're already dating? Break up. And a relationship, or even a date in itself, should never be based on a lie.

You show a profound lack of balance. Nah, I just take sex as seriously as it should (imv) be. IMV the proper place for sex is within marriage, for multiple reasons. I understand that's not the way you choose to see it, so we can agree to disagree. I have a son now who's a teenager and the first fucking thing I told him going into the shitshow people like you created is one, don't pursue casual sex, and two, do not invest until she does. I didn't break any bots on Reddit but I noticed some patterns that fit the bot I broke: occasionally replying things that seemed out of context/didn't make sense, repeating things, ceasing to reply after I challenged the fact they may be a bot (and there was always a downvote after that so it's not like the person or bot didn't see my reply unless the downvote was from another commenter), etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 07:54 AM

The bot I broke wasn't on Reddit and I can't remember its name. But once you've discovered a bot, it becomes easier to recognize them. And I've seen several other comments on Reddit mentioning getting bots in their DMs and/or follower list, starting with porn bots but now there are other types of bots too. They're all over dating sites as well.

FaceBook (it's a site full of spam and more recently, obvious AI.) I was debating a bot in the comments that I initially thought was a human until it eventually repeated what I'd typed word-for-word with literally no other context and it didn't even try to refute any of my points anymore, yet just prior it had been arguing with me vehemently with no sign of backing down.
