It doesn't matter if it's based in reality. How they FEEL is the important part.

I'm 43. Never seen it. Been yelled at and threatened myself many times. Sure, this is anecdotal. And I'm obviously not going to experience everything a woman experiences in every hour of her life. But you raise a good point.

Yes. Like NOW. Before she gets into a snit and tries to ruin your life.

Maybe she was afraid of being ID'd later via her phone.

That's a great choice of stock photo. Woman leaning against wall, hands clasped, head bowed almost as if in prayer. Clearly suffering due to the patriarchy.

Saw a commercial on Hulu about women recently losing 5.3 million jobs due to the coronavirus. Went on to claim how much better the workplace is with women in it, and how we need to work to get them employed again. I know it's women's history month, but still.

Just have to accept that some people enjoy being a victim, no matter what the world provides.

I'm 43. Never heard any male (or female for that matter) say that phrase. Only ever seen it used angrily by feminists as an example of something men say.

Misleading title.

WHY DO I HAVE TO BE AN ADULT

Yes. 3 examples. 3 things that happened to her in her life. I'm sure many men could also echo her stories, with a gender swap. Some people are just assholes.

You ever seen animatronics without their skin or fur coverings? They're all teeth and eyeballs....well.... That woman's face, holy shit.

I really do wonder what "culture" enables rapists. In reality, that is.

It's all the pressure from oppression making the eyes bulge like that.

Sort of off topic, but in that thumbnail there, quoting the strawman "It's because of her clothes." I'm just wondering if ANYONE has ever heard a man say this in real life? I certainly haven't and I'm in my 40s. Perhaps it's one of those things you only hear if you're female, I don't know.

But 94% of doctors that died being male means that 6% were women. Let's worry about them please?

It's all toxic until they need men to do men stuff. Wait until they live in a world where men are unable to take out the trash, kill a bug, change a tire/sparkplugs/do an oil change, investigate that noise in the night, lift the heavy thing, etc etc etc. 😆

What's the difference between toxic masculinity or femininity and just being an asshole?
/r/MensRights07/12/20 11:53 PM

Yup. If it's a man it's usually the mugshot or an unflattering photo. I dunno, maybe that's all they can find quickly. And most women's public photos tend to be very glamorous because they choose what goes up there, obviously. But I doubt that's it. Almost like they're aiming to provoke the response, "Heyyy where were teachers like that when I was a kid hur hur."

"Educate your son." I don't get this. I don't get this at all. Imagine a father going into his son's bedroom, sitting down, and telling him not to rape women. His son would state at him as if he'd lost his mind. Rape is bad. We know it is. The vast majority of men hate rapists as much as women do. It's not a matter of educating or not. Compare the mother of a murderer bawling her eyes out and saying "If only I had educated my son that killing was wrong!" in the courtroom. I don't get it.

Maybe this never happened. I dunno. Rage-bait wise. It sounds too good to be true.

There's quotation marks on it. 99% sure her abuser said this to her and it's a protest pic, probably part of a series. Don't jump to conclusions.

Superman can be interesting if done well. My favorite Superman movie is Superman Returns, because it's basically him saving people for two and a half hours. Sure, it has problems, but it has heart. He doesn't punch anybody in SR, but that's not what Superman is about. It's what he chooses to do when he can do whatever he wants.

Which is like "caring" about the totally natural and normal process of pooping when someone drizzled diarrhea all over the toilet lid.

I have never heard a single man complain about periods in my 41 years of life.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
