Amazing groove and great voice in this song. It's hard not to dance to this. But the bass is very, very out of tune with the rest of the band. I've played this to some non-musician friends and they don't notice / don't care. It just goes to show that even a completely out of tune foundation can be overlooked if everything else is right! But unless the game is explicitly made around the high difficulty, making it so that dying is theoretically possible but rare is better Yeah I definitely agree. You're right about Alien Isolation. I've seen some people suggest that a lack of difficulty takes the tension away from the horror (though as you say, it's probably an uncommon take), but I don't feel this way. I've not played a great deal of the genre though.

I'm playing the Silent Hill 2 remake. It's the only Silent Hill I've properly played so far lol I tried Silent Hill 1 years ago on a PS1 emulator but it didn't click. Maybe I'll try again if I like SH2 Remake. but I keep reading comments the original version is better lol Oh really? Tbh that might be true. Silent Hill 2 original has probably ages better than Silent Hill 1 too. I played this one because it's part of the PlayStation Plus subscription thing. Do you like horror games in general??

I feel like horror games should lean towards an easier difficulty, rather than a hard difficulty. I'm playing the Silent Hill Remake on Normal difficulty at the moment. I haven't died yet. It's easy, but I think that actually elevates the horror imo. The game can build the atmosphere through environmental storytelling, sound design etc, and then when you get jumped by a monster, you get scared, the atmosphere paid off, but you ultimately beat the enemy and progress first try. My God. Recently I had some teeth pulled out. It was local anesthetic so I was awake the whole time, but it was fine. The next appointment, he wanted to do the cleaning. He said, "Do you want me to numb your mouth?? Sometimes the cleaning can be uncomfortable, but it's upto you." I said, "Let's just see how it goes without it." (It's only cleaning, right??) I think it's worth reflecting on why we have a preference, and whether or not that turns into how treat others outside of dating. Just got done with one of my first MMA fights. The guy I was originally meant to face had to withdraw, so my opponent was a late replacement. Hello, PPD people! I seriously believe that this is one of the best openings and rhythm sections in any song I've heard. Everyone is playing to their strengths (including Anthony Kiedis, who is not a good singer, but he isn't trying to be in this song). Sir Psycho Sexy by the Red Hot Chili Peppers The guitar, bass and drums are sooo perfect imo. It's so fat and laid back. I can almost see the stupid Sir Psycho Sexy character sauntering about.

In the UK, there was a popular comedy called Only Fools and Horses. It's set in working class London following a couple of street traders trying to get rich. Good morning, PPD! I've had this in my head since yesterday. It's John Coltrane's Giant Steps The video is animated sheet music which helps bring it to life even if you don't read music. This piece is considered one of the most complicated pieces to solo over. It's not just about the physical technique required, but the amount of chord changes and key changes. Amazing performance by Marc-André Hamelin, Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 This is a very famous piece by Franz Liszt that most will recognise! However, this performance is a real treat. If you like story-driven games, I've been so surprised by a game called "Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden". It's dialogue heavy, but the writing and characters have been so damm good so far. It's like a AA game in the style of Witcher 3 and God of War 2018. The combat is less than ideal, but the storytelling and world building are well worth it. It's about a couple of ghost hunters, basically.

I lived near my school, so a few times I just went home. Me and my mate decided to skip Geography class once, but we just stupidly hid out in the toilets next to the classroom. About 20 minutes in, it wasn't very fun and we were kind of stuck there lol No smart phones then either.

Christmas eve and day: complete solitude the past few years which I have happily adopted as my new tradition Do you do anything special for yourself or watch any particular movies / read books? No idea what Christmas is like in Thailand. In the UK almost everything is closed, so it's a great excuse to just be a complete shut in (it's just me and my gf on Christmas eve and Christmas day).
