I didn't say that black women die from prejudice. I said that unconscious bias MAY help explain the disparity. And it's true, I am OK with people deciding who gets to use their body. If I had a kid with kidney disease I wouldn't be forced to donate my kidney because I get to decide who gets to use my body. Likewise with pregnancy. If you don't follow public health data, this statement might seem untrue. But the fact is that pregnancy deaths and complications among the black population is far higher than for other demographics.
