You're just objectively wrong. Yes some people are ugly because of their face, which means they have to work harder in the other areas. But this argument you make is moronic. And what would you recommend someone in that position do.... NOT increase their chances to get laid? Just give up? Like what is even the point of this drivel?

I can agree with that, but you can have all three of those things and not be successful in dating. You have to attract someone who wants to mate with you, but as I mentioned... That's a spectrum. Physical attractiveness is not the only aspect to that, and it is directly improve able.

BINGO. THIS RIGHT HERE FOLKS. People on this sub act as if being kind holds them back. No, you've just developed your whole personality behind being nice. When in reality kindness is a state of mind that EVERYONE should bring to the table and does nothing to make you stand out.

Jesus people. Three rules in dating: Be kind (or nice) and respectful Make her laugh Be attractive. Attractiveness is a scale, .000001% of the world's population is hopelessly ugly. There's no overnight fix but it is fixable. I am real tired of hearing debates over whether or not someone should be nice. Fucking OF COURSE you should be kind. Not even a fucking question

I am a man, dude. "I am not misogynistic! BUT WOMEN ARE REALLY FUCKING STUPID." Imagine being this moronic.

Not everything is misogyny, but THIS is, you incel: "Bottomline is, most women are totally volatile and emotionally unstable. I am sure some guys like that, I don't and especially if you are a person who values logic and rationality, you will never get that from women."

"I have studied female psychology" Followed by some of the most untrue, generalized, and utterly moronic misogyny I've seen on this sub in a long time. GTFO of here with that shit

It is incredibly difficult to maintain attraction during texting phase before you've met. Sometimes you just have that instant "text chemistry," but really the ABSOLUTE best thing to do is escalate to a date right away. If she's hesitant on that (and in times of pandemic), try calling her. Voice/video really can develop that bond right away and set a baseline for how your texts are to be read. But truthfully, a month of texting kills my vibe. If the girl isn't willing to meet or chat on the ph…

Listen, the advice on this sub is tailored to people dating looking for new partners. This isn't a "I caught feelings deep into a friendship" advice sub, the rules are different. The primary rule being: if you do not know with 100% certainty your feelings are reciprocated, you don't share those feelings with your friend. If you suspect they're not, you back away from the friendship gradually until the feelings pass.

Bad, useless advice. Edit: typo

"displays weakness" oh my god my eyes rolled so hard I have a migraine. Small acts of kindness don't hurt your chances. Especially around Christmas, a gift of chocolate isn't going to display anything but thoughtfulness. Men on this sub think in such weird terms about "strength" and "weakness" as it relates to what women like. Showing vulnerability can be strong. Being an arrogant jackass can be weak. The guy didn't buy her a diamond necklace step off with that shit.

The oversensitivity. The overreacting. The "I've never been wrong." Literally just take the advice, this back and forth proves you take things too seriously and overreact.

Stop. This shit is unattractive. Learn to let shit go.

No. That's defeatist attitude excusing not going for it. She may have had a long day. She may have found it cringe you were asking about the chocolates, she may have just not been present in the moment. There's a million possibilities. Stop overreacting.

I'm not sure what made you think I was asking for advice, but I'll pass. I specifically laid out why I think negging is stupid, I don't need to get better at it.
/r/seduction28/12/20 09:00 PM

I think negging is a shitty strategy in general. Dating and sex should be about positivity, fun, and good intentions. Any strategy that advocates putting someone down is one of recommend you don't do. Does it work sometimes? Yes. But that isn't an excuse to be shitty just for sex. I like the basic premise of this post, though "unfiltered" honesty is also not a great idea. But essentially women (and a most men) want someone who is open, honest, RESPECTFUL and direct. That means you don't need to …

First part of the date, across from one another. Whether it's coffee or dinner. I always suggest a drink afterwards and I sit at the bar with them. That way you get to sit next to her without being weird.

If the advice seems bad, don't be afraid to check the user's post/comment history to see more of their perspective. It's shocking how often these people giving terrible advice (or worse, rejecting good advice because they're insecure or think they're "entitled" to something) will simultaneously be complaining about how they're virgins or have very little success with women.

Sorry, your perspective makes no logical sense. Can I ask where you live? Not specifically, but big city? Medium sized city? Small town? I'm telling you from experience, in big cities, it pays to remind and courteous to declare your intent to show up. Also you're waaaaay overthinking things. A firm up will neither help nor hurt your prospects. Bad advice, silly post.

What's even funnier is when men on this sub give terrrrrrible advice, get offended when you call that out, and then you look at their post history to find nothing but whining about never finding girls, being a virgin, or newly non virgin. It happens all the time

In a big city, you always confirm your dates. You'll still get stood up time to time, but you won't waste your time. If anyone is serious about meeting, a positive confirmation is never unattractive. I usually go with "I'm feeling kind of fly tonight and might wear a blazer. I'm going to call and make the reservation, 6:30 still good for you?" If I hear nothing, I don't even bother showing up.

Your opinion is wrong. It's simple. Also quit with the incel bullshit

There are literally a million possible ways he isn't closing in on second dates. Your opinion and viewpoint is wrong. Again, maybe ya should TAKE this advice and you yourself will be more successful. An amateur claiming to clearly understand why someone else is failing is a bit pathetic if you can't see why you yourself are failing.

Listen friend, took a casual stroll through your post history and it's clear you have issues in this department. I will never understand why people who need this sub's help will turn around and give advice. You need to take advice, not dole it out. And to answer your question, the length of time between text or calls is totally irrelevant unless you're immature. But there's a big difference between texting them all hours of the day rather than taking them out and sending a couple follow ups. Sto…

Listen, lots of people on this sub (and in the wild) don't know what flirting really is... It's not just spitting game back and forth. It's really more of a vibe and attitude. There's no real "tricks" because how you achieve that vibe is going to vary person to person. That said, you can't go wrong with eye contact, smiles, and genuine touches. Since you're a woman it's not as big of a deal, but I cringe when I see the way my male friends try to incorporate touch in the most "flirting means I to…

And it's sooooo transparent when people aren't being genuine. People wonder why they have no success and then rush to subs like this asking for exact words to use to seduce someone, failing to learn there IS no magic formula besides "be true to your word, genuine in your motivation, and strong enough to be straightforward."

And, frankly, she'll remember that. So you may end up playing the long game.
/r/seduction11/12/20 02:06 PM

It's actually not all that weird I wanted to understand your experience and where you're coming from. Now I understand why you are giving bad advice: you have no practical experience. So you saying "I've never had a problem" is totally misleading. You've had a handful of meaningful dates. And I'm sorry but none of that matters. Don't give advice, your knowledge base is low. If you lack even THAT awareness you won't ever get better.
/r/seduction06/12/20 05:41 PM

Oh also straight up decided to look at your post history. You had your first kiss 4 months ago and have barely lost your virginity. Stop trying to give advice until you have a broad pool of experience and instead focus on taking advice.
/r/seduction06/12/20 04:57 PM

Doubling down on shitty technique in the face of emerging trends just because said shitty technique worked in the past doesn't make for good advice.
/r/seduction06/12/20 04:35 PM
1

Exactly. There's no hard and fast rule. But no matter what the situation calls for, directness, confidence, and a bit of eye contact win the day. Whatever you do, right or wrong, do it with style. And don't be passive and meek.
/r/seduction06/12/20 03:57 PM

HARD disagree. For some women, that explicit consent is sexy. Few women see it as a passive move. But you have to be direct to project the confidence and sexiness. Rethink this move. Edit to add further: you should know way before you get to the point of planting one on her whether she prefers the ask or the "just make a move." It shouldn't be a surprise and you should rely on simple signals.
/r/seduction06/12/20 03:32 PM
9

Oh that's so cringey tho. Hard pass. That sounds so passive. If you're going to check consent, check consent with confidence. This isn't smooth at all
/r/seduction06/12/20 03:23 PM

I usually take this a step further too. Since you should always be working to maintain a level of sexuality through out the date... I usually will find a way to bring up "making the first move." It's really simple: during the dinner or coffee part of the date (but crucially, not at the end) you ask her thoughts on the subject. When done right and naturally, it's a panty melter and builds anticipation. For me, I have a story about awkwardly going in for a kiss. So I tell the story, make her laugh…
