Man I missed this daily chat. Why are they so dead compared to a year and a half ago?

I don’t think you are arguing with someone of sound mind sadly.

I think thats a totally reasonable outlook on things to have. That being said, these posts don't seem to be saying this sentiment at all. All of these posts just come down to people saying "because I get periods and pregnant, you need to have x, y, z qualities" and somehow its usually never being a helpful, courteous person. Some of these posts are even more like "I get periods and get pregnant, therefore it's impossible for men to ever do enough for me". I just struggle to believe this is how n…

I’m convinced these posts about how women need to use the fact that they get pregnant and have periods as leverage to justify men needing to do a bunch of other unrelated shit are made by women that are either asexual or haven’t realized they aren’t heterosexual yet at all. I don’t think normal women that actually like men think like this.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/25 11:46 PM

“No one’s ever gotten to like someone after knowing them”

The whole thing was obviously a way for people that hate men to virtue signal about how much they hate men. It wasnt any deeper or more interesting than that.

A lot of them and redpillers in general don’t believe women have actually strong beliefs and will bend over for anyone who turns them on. They like the idea of swaying some turbo liberal chick away from her steadfast beliefs with their dick basically, or maybe not change her belief but will bed him anyways because she can’t resist.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/25 03:20 PM

Probably not
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/25 05:33 AM

Yeah, what people don't get about wine is that most people with a lot of practice can at least learn what the different ones taste like by heart and why, even if to people that dont' drink it often it all tastes the same. Some people will never get the hang of it, but on the other extreme some people really are able to taste which country and climate and vineyard they came from.

Then the person that’s angry can leave if it’s so important to them
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/25 07:27 AM

Unless u know u fucked up, the person who is pissed should sleep on the couch if they really don't feel like sleeping next to their partner. The idea of forcing someone to sleep somewhere else because I am mad is just absurd.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/25 02:59 AM

No argument there, considering a lot of red pillers just use it as a guide to manipulate women/make them more pliable.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 03:54 AM

I forgot to mention but I tried measuring myself using the stretch method to see if it was any different than measuring a full erection and it was at most 1/4 of an inch less, but probably more like 1/8 of an inch less (I can’t remember the exact erect length, lol). So I guess you can bin that part of the theory
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/25 04:13 PM

Middle income people are more thoughtful about having kids, and will worry about their financial situation in regards to it, while poor people are generally stupid and put no thought into major life changing decisions at all.

If people think their orgasm is their own responsibility, you and your partner might as well just sit on opposite sides of the room and watch each other beat off. Sounds really fun.

How are you supposed to know if it’s one sided until you confess? Or maybe the other person will see them in a bee light if the know how they feel? Sorry but a lot of women are really shit at giving signals sometimes especially to close friends because they are also worried about changing the dynamic.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/25 06:22 AM

You are right, it’s not cool to assume the worst in men who confess feelings.

Some people do good stuff and some do bad stuff. What’s the point of caring who does more of which? Just try to surround yourself with more people who do good rather than bad.

Balding guy says he’s worried about how it might affect dating: “why would you want to date someone who is so shallow as to care about your hair loss? Just embrace who you are :)” Balding guy says women are shallow for rejecting him for his hair: “people are allowed to have preferences and date who they want, there’s nothing shallow about that, I’m sure you standards are too high if you are struggling” (Replace balding with any other source of male insecurity if you like)

The real pension fraud that happens there is claiming a relative is still alive to collect benefits on his behalf. A specific individual claiming to be over 100 for pension fraud is much harder since they’ve had accurate record keeping for longer than that.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/24 11:37 PM

To be clear, it doesn’t have to be this man, I just needed a visual.

If you are talking about her, a lot of people reported her story incorrectly.. She stopped eating and drinking because she was under constant surveillance and hospitalized for previous attempts at her life and it was the only way she could end her life. She was initially put into an induced coma to be fed through a tube, but the second time it happened, her family decided to respect her wishes.

Idk I think you are using some really contrived logic to defend this idea that an average bear is actually less dangerous than a random male human. Especially since this whole question is about what is safer to run into in the woods.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/24 02:27 AM
10

I’ve encountered hundreds if not thousands of people hiking in the woods, and have never felt threatened by any of them. I don’t really care what the average person is capable of because my experience tells me it’s almost certainly never going to be bad, and even if the bear most likely isn’t going to attack me, I think my luck would run out if I ran into bears as often as I did people hiking

I need to point out, the trope of a wife that doesn’t let his husband have any fun has existed for decades at this point. Otherwise though I do agree when men get married, in the aggregate will see their social life shrink much more than women will.

The people this advice is targeted to are so outside of the norm the advice is useless, and like the equivalent of telling a broke guy who wants to be a millionaire that they should step outside their houses. Obviously they will have to leave their house if they want gainful employment but everyone knows that has to happen lol. It would just be advice given to make the giver feel superior

I think I just found the my first white hair, on the corner of my chin. I’m officially old and past my prime. I think I’m gonna go coffin shopping when I get home.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/24 03:14 AM

This is completely untrue. How come there are so many deadbeats out there have kids/baby mamas? Not saying this is an aspirational lifestyle at all, but clearly most broke people can date and and have a family if they manage their expectations for who they attract.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/24 01:35 AM

Why do so many people on reddit say sharing hobbies isn’t that important? Do Reddit couples just never do anything together? It feels like a conspiracy on behalf of Redditors to convince normal people to date redditors whose only hobby is reddit.

I’m never going to forget how humiliating of a experience it was trying and failing to get a new job when I badly needed to ditch my the one I had. This was 7 years ago when everyone insisted the economy was strong, yet all I got was one grocery store blowing me off, another actually wanting me to take a personality test as part of the application (which I did do but never heard back from them), and another place actually telling me they weren’t going to even give me a chance because they “could…

I think people just wanted to be accepted for who they are in totality, not do and provide nothing and still be loved for it (well a lot of guys here probably want the later, but I’m trying to be fair here)
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/24 02:18 AM

Assault and battery of women actually is common unfortunately and it almost always happens at the hands of an intimate partner or family member, not a stranger who was told no. Which is what 95% of the posts on the sub are about because the actual thing the sub was created for happens so rarely.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/24 02:10 AM

Regarding hard to get, a woman here (who is also a mod) basically said she and other women do it because they think it’s fun to make guys try harder, but also to try set the tone of the relationship (make it one where the guy is putting in more effort). Is this second part something you would agree with?

Sorry you felt I was insulting you the other day, I was more talking about my own experience. But I do generally believe being an odd guy is worse for your dating prospects than being unattractive guy because women just don’t compromise on that much. Yep. One of the biggest Internet versus real life discrepancies I've seen is how every time a guy asks if size matters he immediately gets pacified with 50 women saying size doesn't matter as an across the board statement. And yet every single woman I've ever talked about size with in real life has appreciated at least average or slightly above average. Size has definitely contributed to one of my relationships ending, but that was more because he wasn't willing to try other things to get me off…

/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/24 01:30 AM

Iv’e never heard a reasonable explanation for how men talking about their problems to their girlfriend is using them as a therapist, but why women on average doing the same but way worse, is not.

I can agree with that second point, especially since a lot of dicksize paranoia is just mental illness.

How can redditors not get that it can hit a guy hard in his masculinity to hear that his dick is too small to satisfy his girlfriend? Even if he is great at eating her out! It's like they are completely disconnected from normal human emotion.

Remembering that time someone told me doing laundry is doing 2-4 hours worth or chores because you should count the the washing machine and drier is running as time you spent doing laundry (when clearly you have no need to be attending to it for that time). Getting late here, so I'm going to share something). As a kinda blackpilled virgin, my deepest, darkest, sexual fantasy I have is... <span class="md-spoiler-text">that I really want to eat a girl out. The experiences of a few of my friends indicates there can be an inherent boost to self confidence from getting your first relationship. Big shocker I know but a lot of people buy this narrative that it will always be unhealthy because they didn’t learn to be happy on their own or some nonsense like that.

The mental calculation men are making is that maintains the facade forever is better than waiting it out for a unicorn and going through a series of failed relationships until they find someone possibly well later than they would like.

Q4W: would you rather date someone with an average non gym going physique, who is somehow as strong as a peaked 200 lb bodybuilder (for this questions purpose just assume his body breaks human physiology), or date someone who looks like a natural peak 200 lb bodybuilder, but is only as strong as your average Joe who doesn’t workout?

I don't even really agree with the premise, but responses like this are so meaningless. The question is "is it immature" and I think people can broadly agree many behaviors and thoughts are immature. The question isn't if someone has a right to those thoughts, and never has been.

Reposting since I posted this just before yesterdays thread closed: To women using dating apps or who have used dating apps, looking for men in their 20’s… how what percent of men in their 20’s profiles say they want kids (vs “don’t want”, “not sure”, and even “open to kids”). Follow up, are these guys mostly conservative or at least seem conservative? I have a feeling men on apps wanting kids is a lot less common than I thought before reading some comments in a related post.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/24 05:38 AM

I really like this and there is definitely an equivalent for men here. People say men that struggle with dating should always just try dating in their league, but if a guys problem is being awkward and weird, it doesn't matter how low he tries to go. Like, its easy to see how obese people end up dating other obese people because that is their league, but there is no way this will ever translate into an obese woman dating an average or even about average guys that are autistic and off putting bec…

I serious don’t see the logic in avoiding marriage if you are going to have kids. It’s so much easier for one partner to leave you with the kid, or do the opposite and run out on you with it, and I’m starting to think maybe that’s the people who push for this arrangement want to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/24 06:41 AM

The commenters give away any pretense of knowing what they are talking about when they say some guy isn’t an incel if he doesn’t hate women, and suggest the problem is demanding sex on the first date.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 07:54 AM

Most people make posts about dating struggles at really low points. Redditors then extrapolate what they post to be how they are all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 04:53 AM
1

Why are Redditors so convinced they can tell what someone’s problem in dating is from one post? It’s funny also they always default to, “your bad personality and opinions on women definitely shines through in your day to day interactions.” When I was at my most blackpilled point about 2 years ago I was still that guy everyone wonders why is single.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 04:45 AM

I think it’s just not having much experience dating at all, and hyping herself out of it with her pessimistic outlook on men.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 02:14 AM
5

More important than any of this, if someone is not letting you collect your stuff after a break up, you can usually involve the police. There are a few people here who will I believe will think it’s bitch behavior but their opinion doesn’t matter. This idea that an ex withholding your someone of your stuff is just sometimes how it is, needs to die.

/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 07:12 AM

At least that guy has some confidence. A timid good looking guy even if he does try to approach consistently through multiple means is going to get turned away by anyone he approaches until either he changes, or he runes into an odd ball woman who is wired differently. Who in all likelihood will be average, but could also be be well above (or below) average too.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 07:11 AM

You're original comment is not wrong, but this fact is really the sound of the door slamming shut in a lot of people's faces, so it's hard to accept.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 06:55 AM
3

A guy can look above average, well above average even, but if they kind of weird and awkward they get almost nothing. This is what is missed when people talk about your level. Being a weird person doesn't put you in the league of people that are fat, unattractive, total losers, etc, you don't even have a league.

I think the inceltears need to contort themselves into ridiculous points of view like “looks don’t matter at all” and “moral character is correlated with sexual success” because they mentally can’t admit they are right about anything. I think people here just don't like that autism is a really good excuse for not having romantic or sexual success, and is also something that can't be controlled. People here want it to be your fault that you suck at dating, but if you have a condition that really makes it difficult like that, it really goes against this narrative. So people just say really dumb and often unkind things about people with autism here.

some women find that behavior cute. at first. I actually agree. There is probably someone out there that will appreciate them who is normal, they just need to look. I think it's possible for the actions of many people to doing things that are completely fine, and fair, to lead to results that are sad or even tragic. How does an ugly woman make your life worse but not an ugly man? I never said the later. It's sad when women can't find any options that won't lower their quality of life either. I’m going to add also, just because a guy vents, or complains, or even lashes out verbally once in a blue moon, does not make him not a good guy. There is a saying “trying the patience of a saint” and this is exactly that. This sub isn’t so guilty of it, but a lot of the dating subs are, and they blame men who are always posting there at a low point, and judge them based on that and relate their lack of success to it.

Responding to someone’s old comment here: I think to a lot of women, it’s really uncomfortable to see that a guy that you are t into is good, and then realize the sane reason you arent into him is why no one else is. No matter how unappealing he is, it feels wrong if he is a good person, and no matter how good a person it is, you aren’t being attracted to him. So when a guy like this inevitably complains about his lot, it’s easy to point and say “this is why you are single, work on it”. It break…

Also autistic men could mean the world to someone by doing good for the community/society in general. There is no need to limit yourself to only doing good and having meaning in a relationship. Why not just do good for your community by proving good quality work in an in-demand job/trade and by donating your time to charity? This is unintentionally the most brutal thing I've ever read on this sub.

I'm going to be honest, I seriously doubt the majority of attacks from strangers anywhere in the world result in a homicide. Where did you read this, for men or women.

Respectfully, I have trouble believing you are bad looking enough to justify being so disenchanted about dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 02:55 AM

I partly agree, but I think it has a lot more to do with men thinking it smart to go right to the source and ask women what they want so they can then give what they were told to women they are interested. There are a few reasons it doesn’t work out, but that’s my theory.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 02:51 AM

Yeah, and there are other pretty straight forward things you can control that will make it an even lower chance (like I know if I never cheat, that lowers the chance of divorce. I can’t help what my partner does but I know if I avoid that, it lowers my chance of being divorced)
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 08:07 PM

To offer a different perspective here, a lot of flirting for many people Involves teasing and putting down the other party, to see how they respond. I have no idea what the convo looked like exactly or what she was thinking, and you don't have to engage with anyone that makes you feel bad, but she might not have meant to hurt your feelings.

But they don’t know the heinous damage that a bear can inflict on them?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 02:05 AM

Yeah I would just rather not be attacked at all . Only deranged people are thinking about the moral implications of whether the bear or human is worse because if it’s free will . Frankly this isn’t why women are choosing the bear anyways , they are choosing the bear because they’ve literally never been on hikes before or else they would know encountering men is completely routine and normal
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 01:54 AM

There is literally no difference in what is more horrific to me based on the intentions of the two, and at least the human isn’t going to be eating me while I’m alive.

Men are only more “dangerous” than bears on paper because their are vastly vastly more interactions between two people than between bears and people every day. Don’t be ridiculous

I actually liked this feature of the app as a guy and bumble is by far my best app. I think it's because women messaging first is sort of a second round of filtering out people that aren't that interested in me. I'm also not sure who everyone here is swiping on, because for me it's about a 50% chance if I get "hey" or something unique more unique (at least asking about my day). Another thing I've noticed is I'm not alone in it being my best app, but a lot of other people say it's their worst by …

It’s the exact opposite, there is almost no point to use the app anymore. You might as well just download tinder and get more swipes per day

It’s worrying how many people think yelling and screaming are always a part of relationships and that’s just how it is. Both the people that scream and the ones that put up with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 01:48 AM

All humans have inherent worth, and I agree it’s rude and mean to say these people are worthless. But when it comes to dating, it’s entirely up to men she meets if it’s a problem. If it’s not great, if it is, I don’t think it’s unfair if guys don’t like her past. It’s not anymore unfair then women taking issue with a jabs lack of experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 09:34 PM
4

I get that sometimes, but the tone really is what sets it bad. Recounting my own experience the nicest way someone put it was “anyone that makes you feel like shit is dead ass regarded”. I actually liked that because at the time someone I really liked had just ghosted me. I dislike the most when some people think I’m literally joking. Appreciate the kind words too.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 01:41 AM

I genuinely find all this really repellent. Im pretty inexperienced but even me choking a woman seems like it would be a complete turnoff (I could probably handle spanking and hair pulling).

Not privilege, but there are two things that come to kind, as an above average guy. Firstly, People think I’m fucking with them if I bring up that I struggle to date. Secondly, I’m starting to presume also that people assume I have something seriously wrong with for my lack of experience. Which tbf probably is true, but I get the feeling its assumed to be something sinister about me, rather than just that I’m awkward, anxious, and kind of autistic which should be on display already. I think that…

My dad giving me specific situational advice in socialization actually helped me quite a lot when I was in middle school in making friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 06:14 PM

Someone here a few weeks ago was trying to tell me that no one even says friendship is a substitute for romantic love, even though I see it constantly as in this post. I hate to use the term gaslighting but it really feels like that happens a lot here.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 10:17 PM

People enjoy things the most when their skill level matches the difficulty of the task, especially they are doing a highly difficult task they are skilled at. For the guys here that are struggling to date, they are doing something that is way harder than what their skill set is, so of course they would be happier if it was easier, especially since a lot of them are a lost cause when it come to gaining any real skill at dating.

Would any of these people who says they would still be happy if they were single for the rest of their life feel the same if an all knowing being told them they would in fact be single until they die? I honestly just can’t read these stories without chalking it up to the halo effect. Maybe I’m just being a prick, but I’ve seen too many stories about how every traditionally undesirable guy sucks because of his personality, while every jock and frat bro is secretly an angel
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 05:28 PM

It’s an opinion I’ve heard expressed a lot (if people didn’t genuinely believe it, they wouldn’t say get male friends as a solution to romantic loneliness), and she has a lot of other dumb hallmark opinions these other people have. I don’t need to read into it too much.

I have some major doubts that was true during the industrial era which is really the least believable part of OPs claim. Okay, I half agree with the first paragraph but the last sentence I disagree with the last statement. I think phrasing it as “taking the lead” in general would come off really weird to most people. This got me googling and I found this. But chronic heavy drinking can prime certain metabolic processes and, in effect, train the body to waste the seven calories a gram that alcohol ordinarily provides. For example, weight gain was negligible in alcoholics who were given 2,000 calories of alcohol daily on top of the 2,500 calories from foods they consumed to maintain their weight. But when the same number of additional calories were fed as chocolate, a steady weight gain resulted. LMFAO, fuckin…

It might just be their personal experience to be fair, but it is odd. The way people are saying we can go years without seeing each other and reconnect like it's been yesterday as if it's a flaw and not a feature... It's just trendy in some circles to say male friendships are allow shallow and meaningless. This is a reasonable take, and I agree the work doesn’t stop. I certainly think all parents should take part in child rearing. The one thing I want to counter this with is that work from home would not be such a big perk if it wasn’t preferable to most people.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 04:28 AM

No I’m not, and I’be seen what it’s like to be a stay at home parent with my own eyes. 40 hours of looking after an infant isn’t as time consuming or tough as 40 hours of working a normal job. Not saying a working parent shouldn’t help out the stay at home one, but it’s just not the same and you have a lot more freedom and the comfort of your own home at least.

Looks like this will go unanswered, but it's probably obvious to anyone with eyes, that the point of playing hard to get is that they think it's fun to make men have to try harder, and maybe they even hope it will set the tone of the relationship. Not actually about increasing the chances of dating some guy.

If sex is the hold up, it’s better just to lie until it’s not a lie anymore. Much harder to fix is having no dating or relationship experience. The effects of that is going to permeate how you behave and your general comfortability through the whole process of dating and it usually shows. And it turns out buying intimacy is way more expensive than buying sex.

Because women will almost always (somewhat rightfully) see it as a red flag and an increasingly bigger one as you get older. It’s not impossible to overcome, but you will have to be some amount more exceptional (likely in the social skills department) than a normal person everything else being equal to burry that flag. When in reality you will likely be more socially awkward than average for the same reason you are a late bloomer. And as you get older increasingly less people want to be someone’…

/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 08:20 PM

This is a strange comment. I don't think that many men lost dates for defending him (or rather his right to a trial). Most reasonable people also, can see how destructive criminal accusations can be to the lives of the accused regardless of innocence, and that even being totally cleared of charges will never totally fix this devastation. Was anyone actually saying that his right to the presumption of innocence meant his victim should not have pressed charges?

Thats the thing, for an average height, average frame guy to be above 200 pounds and shredded is almost impossible without PEDs . If you are a 250 pound guy, and start working out, you're maximum at that weight will still look a bit flabby, but thats still way better than if you hadn't worked out at all. I only bring this up because some people even caution against working out to be more attractive, and I think that is insane when its the one thing most guys can change a lot without surgery.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 05:33 PM

I hear a lot of people discuss what the ideal body male body type for attracting women is, and a lot of people (including women) give wildly different answers, so can we all just agree that as long as you aren't doing steroids it is practically impossible to make yourself less attractive to women by working out too much? It should be noted that most nations with high fertility rates are desperate to get them lower and historically many have even acted extremely coercively or forcibly in achieving their goals. Surveys show more men want to remarry after divorce than women which I think explains that trend. This is in addition to the fact that about 70% of divorces are initiated by the woman. . I’m not sure how these stats would fit into your narrative but I’m interested to hear what you have to say.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/24 11:28 PM

It’s definitely not a death sentence and I would encourage autistic men and women who want to be social to not give up. But it really is tough when you learn social skills a lot slower than other people and so much of socialization is built on things you learned earlier in life
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/24 11:10 PM

A lot of people here say the most absurd things about what autism is like and how it works. I think these people don’t like that it’s a good excuse and not a personal failure to have no dating success, so they desperately try to come up with rationalizations for why it is in fact a personal failure..
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/24 10:56 PM

Are you personally autistic by chance? Because I’m telling you this ostracizing begins extremely early and doesn’t get better for a lot of reasons. And never suffering consequences for autistic behavior, isn’t one of them.

Yeah and it’s sound advice to calm down if you are upset. That mean it’s not rude and dismissive.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/24 02:01 AM

I think what’s a lot more common rich old men going for 18 year olds is men in their mid 30’s to early 40’s who were busy building their career dating women between 24 and 29 so they can have kids and a few year honeymoon period before jumping into that.

If it was pure inexperience, hiding this fact would be enough. If I was just trying to hook up, I would have no problem lying about this. But I'm really trying to date more seriously and truthfully I'm a pretty bad liar. But the problem is in a lack of skills, is it? I believe that is what I said.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 05:39 AM

It's a reflection of behavior I guess. And what do you think the solution to that is?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 05:33 AM

If I could completely unfuck my past, I would. But there is no amount of therapy or anything else that will give me a time machine to do that. And the end result is no experience, and because of that I'm going to be seen a certain way by most people no matter what until that is fixed. I see what you are getting at, you want to make me see it's not actually the lack of experience but something else related, but really at the end of the day it is the lack of experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 05:25 AM

The root problem is being inexperienced. I'm trying to work on it, but it's like squeezing blood from a rock and I'm not getting any younger.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 05:07 AM

Yeah… and it really hurts.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 05:02 AM

Not him, but it's the expectation of having some experience that increases exponentially with age thats really a killer.

Nothing we do will ever be enough for people like you.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 04:37 AM

You know I’ve never considered it a chore at all to be a supportive person to friends and family who were down. Even if it was a bit of a long rough steak. It certainly doesn’t feel close to anything I would consider labor at all. I really can’t get into the empathize with these people going on about how much “emotional labor” they do for their partner because he is sad sometimes.

No that’s women that love making their partner feel insecure when they make more than them, because they feel they are doing his job when that happens. Not saying there aren't men that do this too, but its' probably more common in relationships when women make more than when men make more.

If she wants children still. It's not exactly a representative sample, but the single moms I see on dating apps are 50/50 on whether they want more kids or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/24 05:32 AM
12

Most people want to have their own children, and most people don’t plan on dealing with a child in the relationship right out of the gate. It’s really that simple. I have to disagree that single moms are less picky as a rule as well. It might be true for some but many are even more picky because it was a lack of caution that led to them having that child in the first place.

I never consider this before but now that I think about it, it explains just how many weird names I see on dating apps but never in real life. Not sure what you consider significant but it’s really confused me some days. I’ve definitely seen people spoofing their location before. The most annoying thing about that is that it’s always an only fans promotion.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/24 02:52 AM

This really depends. I think almost every guy has some range they are comfortable with. Most have a limit of not taller than them (though this has almost no effect on their options since even more women have the inverse standard). Beyond that though I don’t think most guys have a problem dating women up to a foot shorter than them. A lot have preferences for talker or shorter but that can be highly negotiable for most.

In a day in age when men no longer need to fight other physically for resources, why would women choosing taller men be good for the benefit of the human race when being taller is correlated with increased risk for a number or health issues, and overall live shorter lives than shorter people? I ask this specifically because someone made a post yesterday saying some men shouldn't reproduce and women choosing taller men is bettering humanity. This idea really misses the mark and applies modern standards of thought to the Middle Ages. People joined the clergy for all kinds for reasons, most way more common than just being an incel. Among them were a want to serve god and guarantee a spot in heaven, to gain influence, and to do something that was seen by everyone as extremely honorable. Keep in mind also that a lot of clergy married throughout the Middle Ages, against the wishes of the Catholic Church.

I think a non overweight partner for someone who is also not overweight and is active is pretty darn reasonable to ask for. As for what is average the obesity rate for people m, in addition to your age bracket you need to also consider where you live. My state is one of the least obese in the nation, and what is see is an even lower rare since I live in a city, in an more affluent part of town. Pair bonding is just the process of pairing off with another mate and being exclusive. It’s basically a scientific way to say “being a couple” that you can apply to animals as well. You really shouldn’t pay for the premium versions of these apps. Fundamentally i don’t believe they actually improve your chances much, and some say it actually in the long run will make your chances worse on the app. In short if you have a problem with luck dating apps, there are many ways to fix it, and paying for the premium will be way less helpful. /r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 02:59 AM

The first part happened, but the statement about when it became controversial is untrue, and I say this as someone that is pretty pro-choice. Abortion historically in America a was legal until the “quickening” when the babies movements could be felt since it was believed the fetus was not yet alive or had a soul. However starting in the early 1800’s more states started to outlaw abortion, as it was realized by physicians and scientists that the quickening didn’t have any bearing on the fetus act…

The only time I ever hear about women having deeper more meaningful friendships than men is when the topic of lonely men comes up. Otherwise, Iv'e commonly heard many women wish their friendships could be more drama free and chill like men's are (not necessarily agreeing this is true all the time).
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 10:55 PM

On a slightly different note, women telling men here that they have deeper and more meaningful friendships that men do is a laughable crock of shit. Not saying women can’t be great friends and men can’t be terrible ones, but they can’t be serious when they say it. IN almost any context outside of these internet fights, you find women saying they wish their friendships were more drama free like men's.

Its really strange how reddit and redditors are very reserved about giving sympathy to guys sharing their dating struggles, especially since its something that is so universally felt by men at least at some point in their lives. reddit can give a lot of unquestioning sympathy to pretty much everything else, but personal posts from men about dating problems are often going to get picked apart and psychoanalyzed by weirdos trying to find out why it's all your fault and you deserve it. Serious advice for guys that want to intervene in a domestic right in front of them. There is a very high chance it will turn into a two-one fight with you against the abuser and his partner. Yeah. /r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 04:44 PM

There were 2 studies I found on this. One sort of came to that conclusion, the other one also did, but the results had to be pulled because they made a mistake where they counted people who dropped out of the study as having broke up. After correcting for that they found virtually no difference between the two.. So you have one study saying it happens and another saying it doesn't. Take what you will from that.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 04:33 PM

On your end, it might not be the same, but the difference in the headspace of someone posting about how miserable they are, and someone posting about how they are going to do an hero... might be almost the same if not identical sometimes. It might behoove some people to try to be a little more mindful of the people you are laughing at.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 04:30 PM

If one persons needs don’t change but the other changes to not want to fulfill them at all, it’s perfectly reasonable to split up if nothing else works, kids or no kids. This is ignoring that I don’t think it’s actually that common for them to charge for literally no reason at all other than growing older. But even if it was, I won’t blame anyone for wanting to get out if their partner is no longer get attracted to them. A lot of these relationships will have other serious problems along the way…

Not so much the misogyny, but the conclusion that girls don't want short guys... comes from the experience of short guys trying to date, especially since many of them are going into dating with less confidence from the previous 15, 16 years of being treated differently for being short. Obviously not every short guy will struggle, but at the end of the day, people aren't born with low confidence, or with misogynisitc ideas. It's developed early on.

That is a huge goal post shift. How is not the standard of not being overweight the same thing as looking like a porn star?

The whole "women hate me cause I'm short" or "women are all stuck up and liars" is why exactly why you aren't succeeding with women. You got the order of events backwards on how this happens dude.

I’ve said several times before on their sub, that woman love the idea of men that are projects, but only if that means trying to domesticate a “bad boy” (can refer to someone who is just a player to full on criminals as long as they didn’t rape or murder someone), not make good guy more confident. And at that, the fantasy is that he chooses to change because this he loves his woman so much, he literally can’t help but be better under her influence, so it’s not even really a real project.

You have to voice you dissatisfaction with dating in an extremely particular way if you don’t want to get dog pilled by these people. Even very well written posts about you mr dating problems on this site will get people trying to psychoanalyze you based on the few paragraphs you wrote to explain why it’s all your fault and why you are a piece of shit.

I read this sub/Reddit often and I almost cry when young women report this. I'm just into my 60s and most guys from my generation were not like this. (Not saying they didn't have their own issues! Therapy works for women because they are an emotional mess. Have you talked to any of the people here before?
