Men don’t see sex as one and done if they like the woman? For example: you have a girlfriend.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/24 11:48 PM

The idea that men cannot discern between sexual experiences with two partners is ridiculous and completely incorrect, for one. If women simply didn’t put out to men who won’t commit to them, it would solve the same problem. It sounds to me like in this scenario women are showing as little restraint as men (with 10/10s at least). This same concept can be applied to anything a woman values. (Rich men don’t commit, really tall guys won’t commit). I don’t see how anything there exclusive to men or s…

How is it different? Why does that affect dating? Why would men having less sexual desire fix what issue that we see?

She wants guys to date guys who don’t want to sex? What are you even saying? You guys don’t have sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/24 11:04 PM

Stop listening to Reddit, that’s your first problem. Additionally, you do want to fuck her ?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/24 04:37 PM

So are you exclusive or not? You’re saying no but acting like yes?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 05:51 PM
1

In that one unique situation where a woman is basically forced into that, pigeonholed by already having a kid and being really busy, which is incredibly unrealistic for most people. Plus you have no idea she wasn’t getting some on the side.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:13 PM

Why would they want to? For literally all the reason you’ve listed as a negative of more serious relationships. Lust for a new partner, get jealous, get annoyed, see their worst, argue, honeymoon phase wearing off, all of which will happen if you’re FWB even if you don’t move in together or get married. But without the incentive not to of your partner leaving you if you do and your partner providing you anything a stranger off the street won’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:13 PM

Boss and employee is a relationship. FWB is not exclusive.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 03:26 PM

Completely made up scenario that nearly zero woman (not one that I have EVER met) will agree to long term unless they’re also sleeping with other people. Also you must be kind of a psychopath and really full of yourself to say “I’ll let you have sex with me but I’m not going to buy you dinner or make any sort of real commitment to you.” The only downside is she’s going to start letting someone else doink her because there’s a chance they’ll actually commit to her.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 03:25 PM
1

“You don’t get jealous or fight over stupid shit with” You’re DEFINITELY not avoiding that by not moving in together. Can they still have sex with other people? If not it’s plainly not FWB. It’s normal dating but you don’t move in together or get married.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 03:22 PM

If you’re afraid of commitment just say that. Some people want a partner who’s actually willing to commit to not cutting the immediate second things get slightly harder.

Feminists are mostly busy fighting for women’s rights where they believe there’s real concerns. I honestly don’t think most progressive/feminists say you have to like women’s armpit hair. But men leave their armpit hair so women should societally be allowed to as well, because, equality.

The risk of all of the things you’re saying is significantly lower when she is a short term partner as opposed to a long term partner. It’s like this. If you flip a coin 1 time, if it lands on tails something bad happens, but if it’s heads something good happens. How many times would you flip the coin? Now in this situation the amounts of good and bad are different and the chance is not 50/50. But the more times you flip the coin, the more likely something bad will happen. That doesn’t make the …

If you get married or purposefully have a child? Half of your net worth, 18 years of paying for a child, being miserable because she makes your life worse the length of time you’re together, opportunity cost of not meeting someone you actually value higher, making you look bad in your social circle, potentially costing you professional opportunities if she makes poor impressions in an adult professional setting, I’m sure there’s more if I sat down to think about it, but all of these things in ad…

I don’t think it matters to a vast majority of women as long as it’s not SMALL.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/24 06:43 PM

Where do women dress sexy to bridal showers? Formal? Sure. Well? Sure. Sexy? Like with cleavage hanging out and really high cut dresses? That’s strange as hell.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 04:39 PM

But it’s not for the purpose of being sexy. That’s for the purpose of being comfortable. Women will wear purposefully uncomfortable clothes to be sexy.

/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/24 06:50 PM

It occurs to me. Does it not occur to you that what you mentioned has literally zero effect on the likelihood a really hot guy treats a medium attractive woman poorly?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/24 08:25 PM

I personally know women who only try to date men way above their pay grade for this reason. These men use them and treat them relatively poorly and then they’re all “men are the worst” and it’s met with “yassss queen.” because they pick awful men who invariably they are a poor match for. I’m not saying the men aren’t assholes. They are. But if I jump into the tiger cage wearing a meat suit, people probably won’t feel too bad for me when I get eaten.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/24 07:48 PM

Majority of wealthy kids are attractive because rich men marry hot wives and also the men are disproportionately from rich families who have dads who married hot wives, back and back and back. Sometimes you get some new money guys and their daughters get their engineer dad traits. Poor girls.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/24 03:32 PM

I think it’s a broad generalization and the exact same thing happens to women but worse considering they have a pretty real biological clock. Women who have dated some real dickheads will accept a guy who’s just kind of a dickhead because she wants stability and not to be threatened.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/24 04:33 PM

I couldn’t imagine as a college guy, competing with a grown man with a mortgage and disposable income.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/24 04:27 PM

Not a lot of meeting women going on in a lot of STEM programs. So you basically go through college single, move somewhere new and establish yourself in your career, by the time you’re actively dating you’re probably mid to late 20’s.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/24 04:25 PM

I think that is true if you believe women should have carte blanche to get an abortion.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 06:10 PM

He’s not required. Also if enough dates go well enough and you like each other eventually you get married. They become the mother of your children. There’s no punch card with a prostitute of when they’ll have your kids.

Yeah absolutely but from a man’s perspective (this post) you are doing half of it, the half I mentioned.

Telling of what? A strong vocabulary? The ability to think intelligently about a topic and discern a date from prostitution?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 02:42 PM

It is “on him” (an expectation, not a transaction) to spend money. Doesn’t make it prostitution. If your friend coerces you into helping him move without paying you, is it slavery? No, but you did labor and you weren’t paid and you didn’t WANT to do it!
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 02:37 PM

It does. In one scenario, a pimp would come beat you and rob you. In another, a woman would believe you to be not gentlemanly. That’s the difference.

There’s such a huge gap between EMPATHY and whatever you think is occurring and I think it’s a real issue with how issues are talked about in society today. Woman can feel bad for you and empathetic for any number of things. That doesn’t mean it’s her problem to fix it. None of that requires them to be interested in you in any fashion. I feel empathy for poor people in Africa, I’m not gonna go live there.

SOME women see it differently and it feels like you’ve never been through a divorce which is almost always cut throat brutal where some women will be trying to get every dollar they can simply to hurt their ex-husband and men will try and pay nothing to screw their ex-wife. I’m not saying alimony doesn’t serve a purpose or is unwarranted (it is usually valid). But to pretend like it’s never used as a weapon or a prize is willfully ignorant.

It’s honestly really not as much as it was, especially if you’re not in one of the biggest metropolitan areas. In NY or LA yeah it’s probably tough, but if you’re in some whatever place, most women don’t want to have 4 men fight over them.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/23 05:34 PM

You actually only need to meet one person that you would be very happy marrying and you can marry them. You don’t need a harem of 1,000 goddesses available to serve your every whim. I believe you’re approaching this situation entirely wrong and also you don’t actually have any idea what the world of dating is like. If you walk into any bar full of young people, there’s probably 20+ marrying age women who desperately want to meet someone good enough looking and normal enough behaving that they do…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/23 05:31 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 07:31 PM

And why does that exclude men who are fit, educated and smart with high paying job?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 07:25 PM

Don’t have sex until you know if he’s a scumbag.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 06:41 PM

All women want Christian Grey and believe they deserve it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 06:30 PM

So you’re saying good men are readily available to women as soon as they stop dating scumbags?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 06:05 PM

You’ve pointed out the exact problem. The problem isn’t marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 06:01 PM

What are your end goals when choosing someone to marry? Is it to have a healthy, stable relationship that your child will grow up well in?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 06:00 PM

Yeah, every man isn’t Christian Grey and eventually someone will have to accept that and live in reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 05:58 PM

That’s why people need to do their best to leave or accept that they’re staying. Then not blaming “society” because they chose to stay.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 05:57 PM

I literally cannot believe the example given in the article is a girl who got knocked up by a job hopping recreational drug user and saying see it’s so hard to date.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 05:51 PM

Opened the video and read “Hoe math” This one’s gonna be fun
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 05:50 PM

It really comes down to this. If women keep letting no good men have unprotected sex with them, we’re gonna face all these same problems! The article cherry picks situations that people get themselves into through their own bad decision making and then act like everyone is there “oh people are supposed to just get married? To who?” Yeah it’s gonna be really hard dating as a single mother. No, you shouldn’t have let some drug addicted, job hopping loser get you pregnant. It also conveniently does…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 05:47 PM

Just say “that’s stupid and I will not be treated in this manner” No further conversation needed. Plus it’ll drive the people doing those things insane because they want the drama and attention.

Why would I want to have hair and low libido? Isn’t that just as bad as having no hair and high libido? One way I can get laid bald, the other I won’t be getting laid. Also the assumption that low libido only effects wanting sex makes it incredibly obvious you’re wildly ignorant to the human body. Why don’t women who’s husbands have higher sex drives simply take drugs to make their sex drive higher, if you argument is take drugs to effect those around you positively?
