Not the staying up late and waking up early to obsess over a new relationship part. Women have things to do and need sleep in between.

Seriously. I (f) will often leave my mom, sister, husband, friends, etc. on read for a few hours because A) I don't have a good response/answer yet or B) I know one text will lead to 30 minutes+ of texting and I either don't have the free time, energy, or mental capacity for that right now. Wasn't any different when my husband and I were dating. I'm either working, studying, cooking, cleaning, exercising, watching a movie, having an IRL conversation, or about to fall asleep.

ITT: guys who refer to themselves as men while calling the women females. Fucking charmers, the lot of you.

Ugh, I hear that. Maybe find some good tunes to just chill out to. Hope everything works out for you.

Find an activity you enjoy as a distraction. Any instrument or language or game you'd like to learn or play?

Why instead?

On top of the obvious rights violation, she presumes he'll be into women. Why can't this decision wait 18 years? Not like a baby should be using it the way she's describing anyway.

It's just as tough to stand up to the other women who think of us as gender traders as it is to stand up to men who think of us as the lesser gender. I love all the civil-minded men and women here who realize that no one has it perfect and we could all use each other's support and empathy.

It's just really easy to get discouraged knowing how some of the tribalism online feeds people's actions irl, but you're right that it's not representative of the greater whole. It's just good to hear someone else say it from time to time. Thank you.

Sorry to piggyback on your post, but I think it's relevant: Someone said I was supporting "the wrong brand of feminism" in another woman-themed sub, and because I said "I'm an egalitarian because 'feminist' is too narrow for my liking and men and other genders matter too" I was downvoted to hell. Why do people have a problem lifting EVERYONE up?

Two awake people sounds like better odds against an intruder than one awake person.

"heath benefit by the beliefs of your maker" If God made man, and God is perfect, there would be no "extra." She doesn't even recognize the error in her logic. "Aww, sweet! Just got a new pair of Air Jordans! Can't wait to cut off the tongue so I can wear them!" Sounds like a bad creation.

There are some of us r/egalitarian women who do want to hear your male opinion, even if we aren't as vocal about it. Sorry so many people are bullies in the name of "progress." Keep being everything that makes you you.

If it weren't for the decals, I wouldn't know that yours wasn't in it's original state from the photo. Spot-on restoration. Have fun driving it.

Glad you were able to leave a toxic situation and that you can find happiness now. Sounds like you're already living your long-term plans.

Glad to see some wholesome positivity on this sub. Kitty looks like a playful friend.

Just checked, and #womenaretrash was also banned, so they don't have that particular leg to stand on.

There are male feminists, and the majority of women aren't feminists, so it's not a woman against men issue. Source: https://d25d2506sfb94s.cloudfront.net/cumulus_uploads/document/nwd9px7exy/Results%20for%20YouGovNY%20(Feminism)%20182%206.8.2018.pdf

Incels are trash who want legal rape. Men's Rights Activists want to have equal custody of their children. This is the distinction that needs to be made to the world.

I wasn't implying it was an excuse, and I fully condemn false rape claims, but I also wish people were upfront with their partners if they fall out of love instead of cheating and hiding their feelings.

I was referencing my first thought on the heels. I'm pretty sure everyone considered the drinking-while-pregnant thing to a point where it doesn't need to be mentioned yet again.

My first thought was swollen pregnancy feet in those heels. Why would anyone subject herself to that?

I agree. There's nothing attractive about setting up a date and being second to someone's Twitter feed.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
