Johnny Depp wasn't an abuse victim. At least not in the Heard case. I saw the videos, and heard the unedited tapes that for some reason wasn't allowed during the trial. Holy shit. What I saw from that combined with his behaviour during the trial was disgusting.

Her experience might have been that she was trying for years to make it work, and isn't over it. The coldness is from being done for a long time.

Counterpoint: it's more work when it's someone elses mess.

And I still can't think of a golf club that doesn't match your description/definition of "business".

Because i wanted someone's definition, to see if their definition matched the law and was reasonable. Yours didn't match the law.

So all the social clubs that charge fees in that way, like certain golf clubs and gentleman clubs, you would consider them businesses. Good. Me too. The law, however, seem to judge it differently, and judges by the size of the business. Smaller social clubs, with higher fees and fewer members than the one in this case, can continue to operate without allowing women. It seems unreasonable to me that businesses/social clubs don't have a more clear-cut definition in law, like the one you offered.

What defines a private club different than a business?

There are many "social clubs" that only allow men. It's mentioned in the article. This business grew to be too large to fit the definition of a "social club". There are spaces like this, exclusively for men, but yhis business isn't allowed to be exclusive for women. It seems like the people in the article finds it unfair to not be allowed the same experience.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
