That's so misleading, women don't earn less than men for being a woman. ofc if you categorize something into groups there will always be differences between the two, this is why it will absolutely never be equalized, because for it to equalize it means for one gender to be either unfairly paid more or less than what they should get for the work they put in. Even if you took all the women with the same jobs, same intelligence and whatnot, but then categorized them by literally anything, there wil…

Obviously there are grey areas as there is with everything, also this is not my definition, this is the definition. Is the theoretical relationship in the grey area? no, it isn't, it very clearly can not be defined as monogamous so now you have derailed into the grey area which was in no way part of the discussion. Yes, a handjob is a violation, emotional and strip club are more in the grey area but most people would say it's a violation. also, you can not insinuate that because there is a grey …

Of course two people can have whatever type of relationship they want whether it does or doesn't fit existing definitions, but they still can't change definitions of things.

There are multiple descriptions for monogamy, that is one of the way to describe it, but thats not the gold standard definition for a monogamous relationship.

No it isn't.

Not saying they shouldn't be honored. still isn't a monogamous relationship, it's not defined by an exclusive relationship, it's defined by how many mates/partners you have at any given time, having sex with someone classifies them as a mate/partner even if its just while doing the act, making it no longer monogamous.

That's all fine but the title is still fairly accurate and she can't call it a monogamous relationship cuz it does not fit the definition.

How on earth do the talking points fall apart when they are just reinforcing it? They boiled it all down to "patriarchy" which is wrong. And what they said about men's mental health is way to simplistic and dismissing.

You're on a high horse because you came in defensive and with an attitude, feels like you're commenting just to argue with me, yes obv opinions about things I haven't read don't mean much of anything, once again that's why I stated I haven't read it when I said that opinion, what exactly are you discussing with me? you're just being defensive over nothing.

that's why I specifically mentioned right away I haven't read it yet, I'm not arguing against it nor you, so please get off your high horse.

Wasn't talking about the article, was replying to a comment about how there has been a real unfair payment for a while now so it's not something that suddenly real just cuz the narrative has been flipped.

Yeah, 117% seems kinda extreme(haven't read the article though) but it has always been that women are being unfairly paid more than men, when they studied the pay gap they found that men as a whole earn more than women mainly bc of job decisions and some other things however they also found that while men and women will be paid the same amount for the same job but not paid for equal work as on average the man was doing somewhere around 10% more work(don't remember exactly but it was somewhere ar…

So ignorant, it doesn't boil down to women being excluded by men, it was just a consequence of tougher times and had to be smarter with what roles were given to people and lack of some necessary tech. Do you think men had a fun time having the responsibilities of being forced to fight and die in all those wars protecting everyone and doing most of the hard work, working in mines and a bunch of other dangerous work risking health and life? Do you think those men wanted that? The idea that only wo…

I think a huge lack of sympathy for men that may be a root cause for lots of the Sexism and discrimination everywhere, and people try to defend it as they call you a sexist whiny incel for trying to talk about it, which really fucks with your mental health.

Don't know. If I had to guess probably a mixture of things such as men having less support, men are more socially and physically attacked which will affect mentality, men are a bit more aggressive, and whenever talking in extremes any of these deviations will show up very prominently in thier effects. Like how men are statistically only 10% - 20%(I don't remember exactly) more agressive than women but the vast majority of people in prison are men.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
