The risks are overall fairly low but still present. You’re looking at an average of about 6-7% annual return (so decent but not amazing). Your chances of having a negative return are very very low but technically possible. Imagine if someone wants a 10k Loan, you and 400 people will give them 25 bucks each. So if that person defaults, you personally are only losing 25 bucks. The chance of your other investments far outweighing that is super high

Look into peer to peer lending. I usually don’t recommend it to people because I think you need at least 10k to start but you do. DO NOT let that money sit in savings. You are actively losing money by having that much in savings. Invest it in something.
