She used to be a sorority girl but dropped and is really down to earth. Her pictures on facebook are all with big muscle jerks and I'm a pretty thin guy. But I'm trying not to let that kill my confidence. I'm way more interesting than all of those guys. I was so thrown off by the coffee offer that I just said, "no, I'll get mine it's fine." Then when she said "why?" I was so unprepared that I'm not really sure even what I said because I was thinking in my head, "wait, did she read this whole sit…

She's girlfriend material like I've never encountered on this campus before, so dating.

This all seems so good in theory. Then I get on the dates and it just seems ... impractical. I'm in college and I can get a good conversation going with a girl at a coffee shop and then get her maybe to come to a party another time because she liked me and then we get drunk and hook up that way, then continue to hang out. But if I'm walking with a girl sober and it's the first date I know they're going to be freaked out by the touching, by me stopping to kiss them, by even the prospect of moving…

i'm down, but just curious — what makes you think that's the way to go?

For sure. Just not sure if I should ask her to go study and hang out in that way, eventually getting her to a party, or to be more transparent and ask her to lunch. Lunch just seems weird after coffee because we naturally wound up in a social setting and lunch dates seem kind of rigid like "this is a date." But maybe that's me.

The key is to not be that guy. At the same time, I've been with girls in front of my friends and their AMOGing to anyone in the group at all is a turnoff in general. It makes me look bad by association almost. I choose to not AMOG or to at least heavily deemphasize it so she knows I'm a complex person, not just some douche.

What do you think about agreeing simply by not disagreeing? Does that make sense? Like not disagreeing might be more important than agreeing.

You're right. I guess sure and OK are not the same. I was just trying to think of other affirmative words. As long as it isn't disagreeing, it should work.

This is great advice but I wouldn't say "yes" every time. I would say yeah/sure/ok/etc. to mix it up. Otherwise it sounds kind of robotic and awkward. I think the main point you're making is to forward the conversation and be confident.

I never let a girl I'm just starting out with end the kiss. I want to leave her wanting more, and to send the message that she wants it more than I do. I personally like a lot of tongue. I don't think that a lot of tongue=sloppy and gross necessarily. So when I kiss a girl, I usually use zero tongue until I get a feel for how much she is using. Then, however much she uses tells me how much she is ok with receiving in return, and then I adjust.

When I first came to Seddit, I asked questions like these because I thought that Seddit would be able to make everything work, to provide me with a solution to every situation I encountered with a female. What I discovered is that there are no magic answers to these situations, no matter how smart and helpful Seddit is. What it does encourage is not giving a fuck about some girl that is ignoring you. Sure, you can try texting her more than once. But after the second time and she doesn't follow u…

I agree with you. I was saying to NOT do the strong silent type thing, because it doesn't really work for most people and that it can come off as weird. I was simply pointing out that a toned-down version of this comes in the form of being the reserved-yet-confident guy. I wasn't necessarily recommending it, though. Yes, the number one thing you should be doing is talking to girls. Don't hold back. Etc.

I also have a friend like this. When we go to parties or bars or wherever, he acts like he doesn't want to be there, or has somewhere better to be. He will stand in the corner and not talk, looking smoldering and angry and shit. Girls will come up to him and try to get him to have fun or try to crack him, like it's a challenge for them. He acts like they aren't important to him, like there's something on his mind. Eventually he lets a girl have an affect on him and at that point he usually close…

Truly appreciate the reply, man. Yeah, you are right, I asked this based on the other post I had tonight about moving out of the friendzone. What do you think about this, because I've never seen this before with any other relationship ever: We spend a lot of time talking about "us" even though we've never even held hands or kissed—that's four years of talking about it and nothing happening. Like openly 20% of our time hanging out is talking about our dynamics. That means we talk about how we ran…

I sure did on a few of them. But I can only give back as much as I know, which isn't much. This is giving back, I would argue, because I'm pointing out a flaw in the community. Wouldn't it be wonderful if more questions were answered than already are? That's all I'm saying.

Your questions sound stupid because you aren't confident saying them. I heard about this guy who would go up and ask for a thumb war. It worked because he was confident and wanted to know the answer. That's key: ask what you want to ask, not what you think she'll be interested in answering.

I've been friend-zoned by this girl for four years. Had I known about seddit through any of it, I probably would have moved on because she wouldn't have been worth my time considering how much shit and pain I went through. I could have had so many other great relationships. HOWEVER, seddit has helped me improve so much that I actually am breaking out of the friendzone now. We haven't done anything yet, but it's clear that something could. Here's the catch, she's going to college in August and I'…

Not a problem. I just noticed that my friends who study with girls seem to without a doubt get friend-zoned.

I agree that the concept of polarization is a beneficial one when applied properly. But I still don't think this conversation calls for it. You go from intellectual to pervy. It also looks like you dont care about her life a little bit.

Not to mention that this conversation example is a bit shallow. Women arent clowns, they arent supposed to keep you entertained the entire time. Shes talking about her thesis; that's probably super interesting to her, so listen and learn something about her and then jump into something else that shows you are spontaneous or what have you.

no way this works. She's going to be like "what the fuck are you doing?" There's a line between confident kino and creepy kino.

What do you think the chances are of a girl texting some rando they met at the bar? Like, in people's experiences, does that actually lead anywhere? I mean, I've already had a few where I did number close flake out on me. But I figure that's just part of the game?

Just because it doesn't help you doesn't mean that the community can't help me. It's a give and take. Some FRs help, some ask for help. I posted this in search of some assistance, knowing that seddit is a welcoming, helpful community. You are literally going against Seddit's most basic philosophy by discrediting my post as typical rather than figuring out a solution for a widespread problem.

I'll def try this walking around campus. I think the classroom setting just requires a slightly different approach. I'll try some things and see what happens I suppose.

This implies that you know the girl well enough to set up a time to meet, let alone get her number. I've also read a lot about getting a number after the first meeting. How does this work for day game? I meet girls in my classes, and I can't just get their number after the first time I sit next to them in lecture. I have to talk to them a few times and shit.

Abundance mentality is simply the concept that there are lots of women out there and that you shouldn't limit yourself to one. It has everything to do with you and not her. Any assumption about who she is or her state of being as a result of your absence is delusional and unhealthy. Of course you have confidence. You don't let the rejection become an omen on your confidence, but you still acknowledge it for what it is.
/r/seduction17/03/13 05:08 AM

Your "better attitude" is literally the same thing as the ones you claim to disagree with. In all cases, you're projecting negative assumptions onto the rejecter. It's possible to just accept that some people aren't into you and that it sucks and that it is your loss (yes, maybe hers too), but that that's just part of life. Laserf0cus has it right.
