No that's not enough. You have to be committed AND efficient. Otherwise you won't find any progress. In order to be efficient you have to be pragmatic and follow some empiristic rules. You have to keep it simple, but not too much. Just grap the necessary complexity.

I have ton of life rules. What I said earlier were actually principles my bad. But #1 keep it simple and #2 stay pragmatic tell us that you should be wary of inspirational quotes

same. that's useless talk. I'm pretty sure this never helped anybody. Even sucessful people who have such talk are succeeding for practical reasons. My rules: 1 Always keep it simple 2 Always stay pragmatic 3 Be honest with yourself and know what you want more 4 Know that you are trapped in body, itself trapped in a given environment. You can't change yourself out of thin air just because you read an inspirational quote. you have to take into account those two

men build civilization for the fate of the human race..which happens to depends greatly on women of course! There is only one thing that you can be sure is always true: things change, life changes. Survivors are the one that adapts to the new order of things. We are engaging in a new era where society doesn't rely on bigamy anymore. The golden age is past. The good news being: if you are a strong man there are plenty of pussies to fish.

wrong. Any improvement is an improvement. My parents and certainly your parents forced us as kids to do some stuff, but we only understood the purpose later. Sometimes doing the right thing for the wrong reasons is better than not doing anything.

nobody will read everything you wrote because it's unreadable bro. "I didnt spend an awful amount of time doing that at all" your unreadable pile of text suggests otherwise I just read here and there, which is probably more than 99% other people who passed by and every line I laid my eyes on you said sth utterly stupid. No matter whathchu say, eating healthy, working out and cleaning are good activity that improve lifestyle. Just because you can't recognize your buddy doesn't mean he is lost or …

Man you spend an awful amount of time peeking into your friends lifes. "he could be banging chicks left and right" -> being in a relationship isn't a problem in itself, if that's what makes him happy that's ok. "Emily is highly energetic high-maintenance, shes decent looking but her mentality ruins it for me. I will say living with a happy energetic person is better than living with a stuck up angry bitch whining 24/7. That’s why I can live with her living here but that’s also the reason that I …

I don't know how you say out of your hat that something "just doesn't work" when it isn't even implemented. You just have no data to say such peremptory statements. You are not saying anything new and frankly just appear to be cynic. Just because something is an ideal doesn't mean you shouldn't aim for it. Think about it. good day, man.

why do you say "social justice" like it's something gross? I am not american so for me it's not necessarily a bad thing. In a high-skilled society there is no "gold medal", people work for the sake of knowledge and that's how they bring value. You can't have a high-skilled job if you are just interested in money. Also, you don't realize how much science is getting more complex everyday. There are tons of fields where we lack people and it is only the beginning. More over, when you reach a certai…

Depends. A competitive advantage doesn't necessarily mean that you are actively making other people work for you. In an "ideal" society where everyone is educated, it is possible that everybody has a competitive advantage over others with high level skills.

This is totally true. Work hard but work for your own interest. Sadly, not everyone is able to do that.

why are you getting downvoted? i know plenty of women in engineering and business school (where there are almost as many as men) and their number are increasing every year. Got a lot of frustration going on here. Loser mentality if you want my opinion.

I was not talking about the average bloke if you paid attention, man. Also, I never said it was ok for me.

Are you a female? Tons of high ranked workers are known for such behaviours. Because High power rhymes with High Testosterona and libido. Look at Domique Strauss Khan, former president of FMI. Ok he got into some troubles and couldnt run for president, but he has been known for harrassing women for DECADES before. And yet he thrived a the top of the world biggest institutions. Same goes for other CEO´S. Because, this is an environment with a lot of men, so they agree on closing their eyes on suc…

I am not angry at women. What Evolution theory has taught me is that nature is a perpetual fight and everybody play with its own cards. Competition is everywhere and at every level, and unity is illusory, even whithin the self. At any moment, anybody can turn against you, shit, even your own cells can say fuck it and start growing into a tumor because they dont want to die for you (Dawkins' theory of the egoist gene). Once you realize that, you will live a happy life. note: this idea does not ap…

well it's not offense cause it's wrong. I am average/good looking. Since I started taking care of me I need twice less effort to get the same results. Of course you have to be a man at some point but there a some guys who definetely can't get laid with their faces. There are some girls that I would never fuck even if I knew that nobody can hear of it. Basically I dont agree with the idea that people don't have standards. They might be lower than what ppl expect but they definetely exists. Evolut…

Women would rather fuck an ugly guy with a strong frame than a handsome guy with a weak one sorry but this is simply not true. It depends on the situation and you cannot affirm such things.

NO ONE CARES ABOUT THE PLIGHT OF LOW VALUE MEN Oh my god. That is so true. But that ain't sad. I think that truth is beautiful and the ability to look at it is called courage. It is also a strength and the best weapon you can have.

Researchers actually have to deal with an increasing competition that is imposed to them. Thanks neo-liberalism :)
