Objective standards are necessary, either through religion or rule of law. Whichever method is chosen, neither can be considered equal or subservient to love- ever. Why is this? Because no act can be considered so evil that it cannot be said to have been motivated by love. Therefore, love must be contextualized through a higher objective concept, such as religion or law. This is the triumph of Christianity, as it begins with FAITH, proceeds to a GIVEN LAW, then contextualizes that law with LOVE.…

I had a friend who was in therapy for about six months. I would ask him about it, but he never wanted to talk. One day, we were driving alone together and he finally opened up about it. "What does she say?" I asked. "She mostly ask me about what makes me feel good. She tells me to do more of that." He went on to describe EXACTLY what your Gramps described. Unbelievable!

I once told my wife, "You think I'm a certain kind of person. The kind of person who can withstand this situation and do the right thing. I'm telling you right now, I am not that person. I am not capable of living this kind of life. I think it's important to say these things, because I'm scared of what the future is going to bring if things don't change. I need our sex life to change because I am not capable of doing the things you want me to be capable of. That's how it's going to be. That's ho…

Hard words to hear, but ones I believe to be true. Having a pair bond with your wife (as her only sexual partner) is a bullet you want in your gun at all times! Managing female behavior outside of this is practically a hopeless venture! I've seen this as one who married a virgin and observed the opposite here and among friends, coworkers, etc. ...

I agree, SamuelJHydeberg. I've seen many friends who marry and it seems the earlier the commitment (the lower the N count, really; zero ideally) the better the marriage. Listen, marriage is hard and gets harder as you go, but there are benefits if your are struggling with a woman who respects you in the marriage and is willing to come under your authority at least in part.

Just take in that look in her eye when she "admits" to not having any other talent. That, brothers, is the very definition of a "knowing look." She is looking to kick in that provider instinct and score another round of "fans." I call this one for a gold digging liar .... more than usual, that is.

Women sometimes need a lack of commitment to ask for- or appreciate- what they want. For many women, life is dictated by "roles." If the role is "wife" or "mother" then sexual desire is off the table, as wives and mothers are no good if they are down and dirty. Now the "role" of "college slut finding myself?" That's a role she goes at with the same gusto, just with a different purpose. She sees one role as superior to another, which is why she doesn't respond to the husbands sexual complaints. I…
