Are these women you work with or something? Friends of friends? How do they know you?

Marriage is an objectively high risk low reward situation for men Ok, so why did you marry your wife?

To be fair, Freud was a pretty awful person, and a lot of his "theories" were just covering up for the horrendous abuse of children. Either way, an older male therapist is more likely to have positive results for you.

How much do you help with the kids? Play with them, do baths, bedtime, help with their learning, take them places by yourself, etc.

We're opting for that choice as a means of self-preservation and freedom No, it's because either you don't trust your own judgement to select a quality woman, and/or you're not a quality guy to begin with, so a quality woman would never pick you, and this is all sour grapes and cope. Seriously, OP, if you went on a date with a quality, virtuous woman and you went off on this exact rant to her, sure, she may ask some follow-up questions and have some degree of empathy, but if you display zero int…

A lot of women are raised to think they are entitled to everything in a relationship while giving the bare minimum. But not all. Quality women still exist. YOU just need to be ready for the very, very rare time in your life that you meet her. This will probably be in the single digits. Most men, let's face it, are not ready for meeting a high-quality woman, let alone marrying her. And that goes for most men in these comments. Seriously, ask yourself why would a quality woman want to marry you? Y…

Seriously whats wrong with them? Narcissism. As to the cause? Could be they were pampered and spoiled by their parents. Could be they had a self-absorbed mother and a spineless, simp father. But it functionally doesn't matter. If you come across a woman like this IRL, just run. I don't care how hot she is; it's not worth it. You're not fixing a self-absorbed, narcissistic woman. It's hard enough for a trained, professional therapist to work with people like this; you think YOU can? Nope, nope, n…

I’m dealing with the death of my sexually abusive mother I will say that it is a net positive for the world that such a horrendous, evil person is no longer in it. It's good that she's dead. And good that you have such an empathetic and supportive partner in your corner to support you through this.

How does forced conscription by the government = capitalism? It's not "hypercapitalism" (whatever that means) their problem is vanity and materialism cranked up to 11. That's a cultural problem, not an economic one.

This, "go to Asia, it's so much better" is delusional. Asia also has an issue with feminism depending on where you go. Lots of Asian women have a princess mentality and can be just as annoying as western women. They can also be super anal and inflexible about household rules and expectations which can be a huge negative on your kids. Oh, and toxic in-laws are still a thing. The grass is not greener, dude. No, 50% of stupid people who swim in shark-infested waters get eaten by sharks. Shocker, right? But, what's the percentage of shark attacks if you remove the stupid people from the sample? Way lower. Sure, 50% of marriages end in divorce, but that's counting the stupid people who marry for looks, intellectual vanity, money, don't screen for values, qualities of character, virtue, moral courage, hell, maybe they don't even know what to look for in a partner, etc. What's the divorce rate when you …

See, the problem with this is that nothing you listed applies to a man if he picks a quality woman. Who it DOES apply to are men who pick a low-quality woman or make dumb decisions. The fundamental problem is that a lot of men do not trust their own ability to pick a quality woman (e.g., MGTOWs), and a lot of men just do dumb things when it comes to dating and relationships. Blaming society and the SystemTM and saying that it's all rigged and gonna fuck you over is not empowering to men at all. …

The problem is not women. The problem is you don't trust your own judgement to identify shitty women. Why did you have such trashy women in your life? And why was NO ONE (friends, family, etc.) watching your back? That's what you should be asking.

It's because to those women, men outside of the top 10% do not exist in their minds. And because a lot of those men in the top 10% have legitimate power and influence in the world, they just project that onto all men. That's where their delusional view of patriarchy comes from; they have a fundamental lack of empathy for men outside of the top 10%.

It's a red flag for a reason. Just like crazy, dyed hair, long-ass nails, nose and belly button piercings, etc. And it's good that women show off these things; it broadcasts to the world exactly the type of person they are and makes it a lot easier to avoid them.

Now, to be fair, if the guy really was a total workaholic who was never around and his idea of being a "father" was throwing money at his kids but otherwise neglecting them in terms of emotional connection, bonding, and the impartation of wisdom, then, yeah, she has legitimate criticisms of him in that case, because he wasn't much of a father (which is a verb, not a noun), and she didn't pick him to be her dad; it's an involuntary relationship between kids and parents for at least 18 years durin…

You can dismiss it as a "whataboutism fallacy" and don't even waste your time engaging with it. It doesn't address your point and is attempting to say that "women have it worse" or "men are bad" as a way of invalidation. The person is clearly arguing in bad faith. Personally, if someone responds to me with a strawman, whataboutism, or an ad hominem attack, I do not waste my time having any further discussion with them.

I mean, ideally, each person should be entitled to all they initially brought into the marriage and half of what the couple accumulated together while married. If Joe was a millionaire (net worth 3 million) before getting married and she had 50k in assests and they made 6 million together while married, she should get 3 mil plus 50k and him 3 mil plus his initial 6 mil. But, he pays her no alimony if it's a no-fault divorce.

One, you have to have the money to do this unless you go somewhere where cost of living is very low (e.g. Thailand). Two, you have to be willing to live with the girl in her home country and raise a family there. Otherwise, if you bring her back to the US, she'll either miss her home country, culture, social networks, family, etc. and leave or she'll leave you for a higher-status guy in the US. So, let's reverse the genders and see how it sounds: “James wants Greena to be engaged with money. I can understand him paying more for things like luxury hotels, but why is he the one ordering the [laundry] detergent?” “Steve wants Taylor to want more for herself, to become a financial partner in their relationship,” Beyond being the breadwinners in their relationships, James and Steve both also admitted to taking on mother-like roles with their wife. It's one thing to show chivalry to your wife who has proven herself to you and has earned it. It's another thing to show chivalry to random women you don't know and have done nothing to earn it. The former is perfectly fine. The latter is like submitting and being a slave to women in the hope that you'll gain their favor. Any woman you don't know, treat her like how you would a man.

That human life didn't choose to be in that womb of it's own free will. It is there because of the actions and choices of the mother and father, and you do not have a right to extinguish a human life that you put there through your actions which in the VAST majority of cases, no one forced you to do. But of course, this ties into the concept of responsibility and accountabilty which is like kryptonite to many people.

The abortion topic really highlights that, for a lot of pro-abortion men in the MRA movement, personal responsibility and accountability is like kryptonite. The core of their pro-abortion stance, more often than not, boils down to them wanting men to have the freedom to absolve themselves of responsibility for getting a woman pregnant through either having the human life killed in womb, or using the pro-abortion position to argue men should have the right to opt-out of fatherhood if the woman wa…

I think a lot of these Gen Z "trad" wives are still modern women at the end of the day, albeit, red-pilled ones; they acknowledge that men have a utility value in being able to help them achieve their goals (in this case, being a stay-at-home wife/mom), but they still don't really view men as human beings with emotions and vulnerabilities, and they still lack empathy towards men. And many will still prioritize "spark" over values when picking a partner.

If you don't wanna get married, that's fine. But make that clear very early on during dating, and don't date a woman who does want marriage but is clearly holding out hope that you'll change your mind about it. That's how YOU become an asshole and end up creating misandrist women which doesn't help anyone.

Bad analogy. You can't pick your copilot on a plane, but you CAN pick your wife. Men have a large degree of control over whether or not they get divorced in who they select to marry. It's not random chance, but it can seem like it if you have no idea what makes a good partner.

If you are a decent partner and you pick the right person, your chance of divorce is 0%. The issue is guys who are not decent partners and/or don't pick the right woman. And instead of taking personal responsibility, many hide behind aggregate statistics that you can't apply to individual situations, become MGTOWs, and have zero personal growth. Then, instead of spreading knowledge and wisdom of how to choose better partners, they just discourage people from marriage, dating, or even interacting…

I think this sub does have a lot of MGTOWs who, instead of dealing with their own personal issues, just wanna blame women and the institution of marriage while taking zero personal responsibility. It's not helpful, and it's no different than a woman complaining that men suck when she has a bunch of issues too. And about the women body count thing, it HAS been studied that the more pre-marital sexual partners a woman has, the less likely it is for her to be in a stable marriage (source). Like, pa…

I don't care that he's a conservative, my issue is that his view on incels or anyone who has criticisms of modern women is essentially: "They're right, you're wrong. They're right to not pick you. If they're not picking you, it's because they're right". Which is a totally asinine thing to say because modern women make retarded decisions when it comes to men all the time. You can make the argument but don't cross the line into coercion. Even if you believe that abortion is killing a human life and therefore immoral, the law might not be on your side. The best you can do is offer to take the child; promise to leave with the kid, you will not ask anything more of her, you will never contact her again, and she will never see you again so long as she doesn't kill your baby. But, if abortion is legal wherever you are, she has the right to kill your baby no matter what…

Women DO simp for men. Frequently, it's the top, high-value men that they simp for, to the point sometimes of even being willing to share them with other women. But in general, if a guy has that "spark" that a woman wants, it is kinda pathetic the amount of crap a modern woman would put up with just to be in a relationship with that guy.

You do realize that telling a woman that "you'd never share my bank account with a woman again" can genuinely upset her, especially if she really likes you? You are essentially telling her that you will never trust her as much as she might trust you and probably that you will never like/love her as much as she likes/loves you. And judging by the flippant language in your post, it seems you lack a lot of empathy in this regard.

Technically, the gender of the sick partner in the divorce does not directly tell you anything about WHO initiated the divorce or WHY the divorce/separation happened. So anything regarding the who or why for the divorces/separations is pure speculation that is not directly supported by the study. It's worth keeping that in mind when anyone is using the study to make assertions or draw conclusions.

Point out examples of talented, women inventors/scientists who existed pre-feminism to establish that women could do those things back then. Then bring up the differences in IQ distribution between men and women, specifically that there is a higher concentration of men at the higher end of the spectrum than women. Ergo, by a pure IQ numbers game, there are likely to be more Nobel laureate men than women. That's how I'd go about it.

They don't say, "Looks don't matter", it's just that most modern women are not honest about how much looks DO matter to them. That 80-90% of a man's attractiveness to a modern woman is his looks, confidence, status, etc. NOT his personality and values which are a smaller part of the equation than most modern women will ever admit because to admit it would validate the reported experiences of "nice guys" and "incels" in the dating world. i.e. there are legitimately nice guys that women do not wan…

The selfishness aspect comes from the grief and turmoil that is left with the person's family, friends, etc. Of course, suicide is about ending the pain that one is suffering, but in the face of the emotional trauma it can cause (especially if a family member is the one finding the body), either the person killing themselves didn't consider this, or they didn't care. That is where the selfishness comes from and calling it as such isn't necessarily misandry.

What are you even going on about with this "whataboutism"? I never insinuated they should vote Trump instead. That would be a false dichotomy. Simply put, for the reasons you stated, the "believe all women" mindset is enough for these people to never vote for Trump.
