How dare he run a marriage how he desires. How dare he avoid shippers. I hope this will be a conversation-starter about the toxic "shipping" culture among those who do consume this kind of content. Never going to happen when legions of idiots immediately launch into their misogyny speeches about it.

I never knew them to be champions of the 2nd amendment, just the 1st. Well, ya know, that was sorta the important work they did, after all sorts of gun control was passed, trying to keep firearms out of the hands of minorities and whatnot. The ACLU had a nice long history protecting the second, but they threw that away a few years ago. Just like they just threw away the first. Besides, the NRA has the 2nd amendment covered. No, they don't. They're not even the main lobbying firm of their organiz…

Uh, that was the lesson you took from that point? Wow, I don't really know what to say in response. I was trying to point out that a society that has such large problems where police forces are using the same weapon platforms that we happily use in Afghanistan / Iraq, might have a bit more lenient views on what constitutes acceptable levels of violence. I haven't seen a police force in the states start doing mini gun runs in neighborhoods or get into gunfights with cartels with M-2 machineguns a…

How is race an abstract concept if a core part of crime scene investigations and archeology use skeletal differences and/or DNA to identify the race of bodies and skeletal remains? If race is an abstract concept, how can DNA be used to classify people's races like on 23&me? How can they identify what races you are with your genome?

but the point remains that nothing will get done unless both groups can come to a consensus. So the original question still stands. What's the consensus on abortion? Is it killing a baby, or is it simply a clump of cells? Where's the middle ground? Or is the middle ground is "when a woman wants an abortion, it's not killing a baby" but when you cause an abortion due to a car accident or gunshot wound, it is killing a baby? Intent? That's where we're currently at, and that's not a middle ground. …

Feelings aren't wrong. They aren't right. They just are. They can, however, modify our perceptions or ability to integrate new data, and for that reason it's important to acknowledge and process them. Women have that first part of problem resolution down; the processing of emotions. Men have the second part down; implementation. Both are needed for healthy problem solving. By that logic, we shouldn't allow women to vote. Because per your logic, women are ruled by their emotions. Facts don't care…

Are the genders equal or not? If they are, women should never have gotten the right to vote, without the responsibility of the draft. If they are not, then what responsibilities and rights should each gender have? Because, if one gender has a greater set of responsibilities than the other gender, than logically they should have more rights due to this. Which is it?

Prenups aren't legally enforceable in a lot of states. Even in states that they ARE enforceable, they're extremely easy to get thrown out. My friend got his (with his signature, his wife's signature, his lawyer's signature, her lawyer's signature, and a notary signature) thrown out of court because his wife cried and said she signed it under mental duress and coercion and didn't mean to enter into the contract. Prenups aren't worth the paper they're printed on.

I'm sorry, it's just sad to me (after getting burned by groups for the last 8 years over this bullshit). I feel like we should have a Perspectives 101 discussion on here. The biggest deal on the internet is the rule of tens. Something like 10% of the people that hit a webpage will ever register on the website. Of that 10%, only 10 ish % will comment. Of that commenting group, 1% of them will actually generate content. So, don't try to appease the small group of loudmouthed idiots (us included). …

/r/MensRights09/03/18 09:14 PM
7

That is incorrect. I'm simply asking that if segregating the sexes due to the real threat of rape is acceptable, is segregating the races due to the very real threat of murder and assault acceptable? For example, in chicago, only 5.7% of the people shot in 2018 were white, but 70% of those shot were black. https://heyjackass.com/ Wouldn't it make sense to segregate the races to keep the threat of stray bullets down?
/r/MensRights09/03/18 06:57 PM

And? My point is still valid.
/r/MensRights09/03/18 06:30 PM

By that logic we should start segregating the usa again Having a seating area for women whites in a place where rape murder is a major problem isn’t exactly attacking men blacks. I mean, you can make it that if you want it to be, but you’d be wrong. Sure, you might think women whites being raped murdered isn’t something to be terrified about, or maybe you just think it’s not a big deal, or whatever, but that makes you a really bad person.

Where were you during the Obama years? None of the left cared about deficit then. Tax cuts aren't permanent because none of the left were willing to cross the aisle and vote yes on tax cuts. Sad! If you actually cared (and you don't), you'd be urging the left to support rand Paul's bill to make them permanent.

What did you expect in the shit hole that is offmychest? I got banned the same week a dear friend of mine ate a pistol, all because I happened to post in The_donald. Yep, that was a very, very rough week for me which included picking brains out of carpet. BUT HOW DARE I WANT TO GO SOMEWHERE ONLINE TO TALK ABOUT IT. Instead I enjoyed my male privilege and drank a bottle of vodka a night for a week. Cest La Vie.

Can you please translate that to more easily understood english? I can't grasp what you're trying to say. Sorry, english is my third language. Edit To Add: It's like asking someone to build a radio with no experience in it. This is patently wrong. Crystal radios are literally caveman tier technologia. If you can scavange up a razor blade, a radio, some wire and an earpiece, you've got a radio. You literally just need to skim the wikipedia article to view the schematic for it. It's LITERALLY two …

Good for you! I can only guestimate your tone at your word choice and your actions. i bristle at the fact that many, many people hide behind wanting to learn more, then burying people in questions when they don't get the answer they wanted. That's how I took your multiple responses on posts about HOW men talk to men and how men completing manual labour gives them an outlet to share inner feelings. So yes, it DOES piss me off that you repeatedly ask HOW that could possibly work instead of botheri…

You don't say! Next time, take less of a confrontational tone, and actually LISTEN to the people you're asking questions of. Why should I care what you mean by "bothering with any of this?" It's obvious you neither understand nor care to understand. In before the white knights.

I'm very, very aware of federal incentives. I'm just curious to know if child support counts against your ability to receive said incentives, due to it being an "income".
/r/MensRights28/11/17 06:19 PM
1

That's ... interesting. Why doesn't the receiver have to pay taxes on said income? So the only tax paid is the person paying takes taxes on their earned wages, then is able to transfer it to the recipient without ever having that person claim it as income. Which means, as far as the IRS cares, the person receiving child support never has to declare it as an income and pay taxes on it if it bumps them up a tax bracket? I wonder what that sort of arrangement does for people receiving benefits base…
/r/MensRights28/11/17 05:41 PM

Wait, who pays taxes on child support? Does the government double dip on it? Because, when the guy earns wages, and then it's taxed, then he sends said money to his ex-wife, wouldn't that also count as taxable earnings on her end? Why the shit isn't child support pre-tax?

So, I posted this under tumblr in action, but I'll repost this here, because, well, it's the same idiocy. Seriously, what the fuck is up with their craziness about consent? Because, I mean, consent is awesome. And if you're doing things that aren't legal in your state, that's kinda a crucial first step. To get consent so that the other half doesn't freak and to discuss what you're wanting to do. But, I mean, shit, I lit a girl on fire (for a short time) the other night. I then later got beat wit…

Meta-consent means that it is possible to agentically consent to having your consent violated. Or, you know, have a consentual non-consent negotiated. IF that makes sense. People are idiots.
