lol idk, why would any successful woman choose it either if that’s the only way you’re thinking of it? but to most people getting married kinda means you won the game and found the right person to have kids and grow old with. monogamy isn’t end-game for some people, but I for one was delighted to drop out of the dating pool with someone that made me happy. dating is actually exhausting- trying to make sure expectations are aligned and everyone feels respected despite wildly varying communication…

I’m saying approaching it like that, all women as potential partners only/before potential friends, is a problem. regardless of the actual effect of having a car or not on your dating chances. fwiw where I live it’s not at all weird not to have a car. when I’ve lived places where cars were the norm I still don’t think I would’ve cared. biking makes you for and is good for the environment plus I think mopeds are sweet ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I would argue that preemptively ignoring all women on the off chance that a) they would be interested and b) but only if you had a car is doing yourself way worse. sounds like this guy could use more female friends as a start to get used to talking to women.

sure (perhaps) but then you’re approaching every woman as a potential partner rather than a potential friend. even if not a potential friend you definitely don’t have to ignore people…

sorry are you saying that not having a car makes you feel like you have to ignore the women you work with..?

hard agree with they aren’t actually worried about the bullying of real or imagined kids. if you don’t like it, don’t look at it, I feel like it’s that simple here… and even redpilled people must recognize that a) it’s a tiny minority of women who have an onlyfans, that do the most to advertise it and make it work, and b) very few of those women are making big money

no choices huh? well I just presented some… depends on your goals I guess, if you just want hookups idk what to tell you. yes I’m just one person but plenty of my friends feel/felt similarly about how to be approached. I’m not saying your way won’t work for everyone. in fact I’ve given my number out like 2-3 times to guys that approached me that way too (when i was younger and more nervous). I wasn’t interested in them and didn’t really respond to any messages, but when they asked I felt put on …

welp that’s a lot. I don’t think I’ve ever made fun of a guy for trying to flirt unless he’s been really bad at respecting boundaries or reading a situation (had somebody try and pick me up in front of my whole family at my grandfather’s funeral, for instance). you don’t have to constantly put yourself out there if your feel like rejection is the most likely outcome. apps or singles events make it a lot easier to navigate who is interested and who isn’t. I can’t really advise your attitude, I do…

it’s not a need like food ie you will still survive without sex, but jerking off is good for you. do it. porn not so much, depending…. I think the sex toys thing and what’s ‘acceptable’ for men and women comes down to a simple truth, that MOST men can get off with just their hand and many (most?) women can’t. I know I can’t. I got several fancier toys in search of orgasming at all. when I finally figured out how to do it, all I need now is a bullet vibe. anything that looks like a power tool is …

hitching all your hopes and sense of self worth to one aspect of your life (dating in this case), let alone to one person reciprocating feelings, is setting yourself up for failure. she’s a human just like you’re a human, and you know just like the rest of us that 1) you can’t really pick who you like, and 2) desperation for attention/affection isn’t very attractive even in a friend setting. I definitely wouldn’t say ‘all hope is lost’ with this lady, but it may or may not be the right time. try…

just to add to the mix, I have found out twice now that a dude I never so much as kissed claimed to others that they slept with me. once it was a guy I barely knew, once it was someone I considered a friend. that’s only the times it’s come back to me. very difficult to refute, it’s not like I have evidence, but it simply did not happen. so just keep that in mind when people are telling you about their ‘body counts’… there may well be some bullshit mixed in.

they have done a legit study where a man and a women of ‘average attractiveness’ went to bars and point-blank asked people of the opposite sex if they wanted to bang. surprise surprise, the random men said yes more than the random women. you could see that, and this data, as a problem with the women’s threshold being too high or as the men’s being too low. it’s also worth noting that there are a lot of risks for women (and men! they should really be more careful!) when meeting up with a stranger…

Yea exactly- hard to have fun and relax, and be able to gauge your feelings or show your personality, when the pressure is on. and like you say, idealising someone/putting them on a pedestal adds to that. maybe after all your investment it's better not to text and just try something more casual. since she still wants to text it could be a good sign, but maybe it's not worth it to you to risk having your chain yanked. obv at the end of the day you have to take risks if you want to date, but I thi…

seems to me like you overinvested yourself, putting too much stake in something that hasn’t gotten off the ground. speaking for myself, I don’t like to send or receive a long message like that, even after I’ve met someone. if you want to say that much, let’s go on a date and talk. I would advise that you read the situation, if she is also sending long messages then hey no problem. but otherwise you might be scaring someone off. I’ve had this happen and it feels like the person has built you up i…

you said he posted about wanting to leave you and how he was so glad to have found red pill... I would not bother to stay in a relationship with someone that wanted (on at least some level) to leave me, red pill aside. if I couldn't trust that the person I loved wasn't trying to manipulate me, I could not do that. I would not feel that that person respected or truly loved me. that's my honest thoughts.

If you're calling Jordan Peter credible, I would recommend reading this article by the guy that hired him: link my main issue with him is how he presents his opinion as fact. I remember watching one of his videos regarding traditionalism or something, where he states he's had multiple women tell him that they feel bad/judged for wanting children. He says, "what could be more indicative of a pathological society???" as a woman, with many friends who are women, and just as a person in this world, …

not especially.. if your boyfriend sucks break up with him. even if it’s hard, even if you live with them etc... better to break those ties and dependence on a sucky person. but also, you’re probably only hearing her side/what she wants you to hear, I’d bet there’s more to it. hard to trust cheaters.

I know, the thought of my boyfriend doing this makes me pretty upset too and if he ever were to tell me about it I couldn’t help being jealous. But, I can tell that it’s not at all rational. it’s normal and ok to notice attractive people, I do it from time to time after all, like you say. I have the same issue getting kind of jealous of the people he’s been with before (were they better than me, does he still think of them, etc. ). Even though I’ve been with people before and sure they occasiona…

if she cheats on him, she would cheat on you. I would generally say if it's a one-off hook-up and you didn't know, then it's their fault for cheating, not yours for being with a cheater. but if you do know/were to continue things into a drawn-out affair... well, you're indirectly hurting a third party, it's shitty behavior. hard disagree with the 'fuck her a bunch and then leave' comment. there's always the possibility that it's an open or undefined relationship, or the partner is cheating too, …

I find myself worrying the same thing, as someone who sees monogamy as the ideal. I'm a woman, and wary of the evidence pointing to men being more likely to cheat (idk about being bored with monogamy, but men have been found to be more likely to act on urges to cheat. women tend to do 'emotional cheating' which may not involve sex). what's funny about it is, I worry about my partner getting bored of monogamy or thinking about other women, but I go through phases of boredom too and occasionally d…
