union electrician here its a great living high pay work available all over the country if you want to travel interesting satisfying hard work mostly cool coworkers (those few that arent, you can DEFINITELY tell to fuck off if you want) no HR sensitivity bullshit and the VERY few women in the trade are almost always cool and swallowed the red pill long ago check out if there is an IBEW hall near you with a JATC office best decision i ever made. no kidding

I used to work in kitchens for years, and in said kitchens, there is a great system of saying "behind!" when you are coming up on someone who is in your way to let them know to move out of the way.
