I am not buying anything of this, you are not even a woman. Why even give this advice? It is cheap and pointless

If you said a good looking woman it would be around the same if we are talking about more of a local/niche celebrity that is not internationally recognised. Average looking, definitely doesn’t have as much options as that but it would not be too far off either.

What I just explained, If she is not superficial and wants a deeper connection the guy who she doensn't know who DMs her is not as relevant

Of course, I am just saying that if people expect you to take part in the online part, you are also competiting with lots of other individuals getting in her inbox.

Definitely agree with this very much. It was considered normal in a tribe for an elder person to be the relationship arranger, and this just does not happen anymore. We are left to ourselves to find these opportunities and they are very diffuclt setup in a modern enveiroment in a way that is effective. The ones who are inventing the technologies that are supposed to be the 'solution' to this are actually making it worse.

What I meant with different is that I do not see myself taking part of the modern dating style and just want to find someone who thinks the same about that. Yes you need to know someone, but online thats almost just like doing an interview.

Women get tons of attention in their inbox and engagement online. Men have to slither their way into someone's life and hope that you can get some scrapes of this attention so I've been seeing IRL contact is the only way forward.

Thank you for the reply, it’s a really long one and I see you took your time to have a deeper understanding of my post. So I am 26 now and this is sort of the age where college years are over and everyone is just starting a career and being less social. I do take part in social gatherings, however I used to have way more friends before Covid. I actually moved from a small town to a big city a couple years ago and I’ve been working hard on reinforcing my social life here, either way good that you…

Yes of course can't disagree with fact of nature that we all start as strangers but I am talking about how in modern dating connecting often happens with romance in mind but then being disappointed. Because unfortunatly for many strangers are the only options. My problem is that ''The ones we grow attracted to, we try to date''. It is this that almost never happens from a longer term source

Only seeing straight facts here, the only time I was able to get a relationship was before the times of Tinder/social media corruption took over with Covid (it was pretty bad before then too). We were both still naive about life, I have not experienced a single version of modern dating working since then and it has been 6 years, there’s just not many paths that lead to these methods that you said do work. From a certain point in life you are forced to be more individualistic, and having only onl…

Anything other than monogamy promotes individual happiness above all else. If you want your offspring to thrive you do not choose your own needs, its about the child and the community you nurture around it. Historically being part of a community is what made marriage this bond where you tell everyone in the village we are taken, and shall not tolerate any sexual activity out of this bond. This was a social contract that benefits everyone who follows it, in society. When you have more family memb…

I agree, the nuclear family is the only inhert proof of a functioning society that got us to where we are today. It's one of the most important lessons from religions, not that you need to be religious to understand this. You can agree or disagree with monogamy but it does not change the fact that you are here thanks to ~2000 years of monogamy, trying something else is just a dangerous experiment at large at best.

ChatGPT can give better answers than all of you: "Proponents of monogamy often argue that it provides stability, consistency, and a strong family structure, which they believe are beneficial for children's development. They may argue that having two committed parents who are focused on raising a child together can provide a nurturing environment that fosters emotional security, support, and guidance. However, it's essential to recognize that the quality of parenting, the strength of the relation…

I don't get it, as a man who has a job, I cook and clean, why shoot my shot at a woman who thinks men are boring and claims she has everything that she needs? You speak as if men don't have everything that they need/are incapable of achieving it without a woman. The truth is that you love your comfort zone or have trust issues, or might not even be attracted to men in the first place (or the other way around). I don't know much about you at all, and even if I did I don't like judging people. The…

I can think of a few reasons: Free therapy for women. Free protection from men. Free dates for women. Having access to regular sex without commitment. Easy access to ego boosting from simps.

Imo not only is online dating hard and superficial, it's also very bad for society. It creates this notion that at any given moment. A woman can have validation from men from pictures saved in her phone. (It's almost like the female equavalent of men who watch porn and say they don't 'need' women) She wants revenge on someone? She can just pick up her phone and make someone come over. Everything would just way more fun and spontaneous knowing these apps wouldn't exist. I don't think I could ever…

Because let's say a woman is 18 years old. Not only will all 18-21 year old men be interested, even ones that are much older. Now let's say a guy is 18 years old. There's not gonna be many women above his age that he or them are interested in. This all seems very simple imo. Younger women specially good looking ones are highly sought after

Imo I don't want to sound mean but most men are looking for thin or regular sized women. A women that is heavier than us is a turnoff knowing that weight is an insucrity for us men, we often want to be heavier ourselves by muscle mass and the ones that are heavy it's usually too much fat that they're trying to get rid off.

You're the reason why some women start to hate men as a whole. Literally go fuck yourself OP and think about what you said.

My theory is that chasing women only works on a very specific type of woman that wants attention, on the rest it doesn't work much. Also I think that women that seek attention are seen as attention whores because among women to been seen as a high value target is to get attention from men without having to do things that indicate they're looking for attention, yet on the polar opposite side a man who plays into this giving attention and constantly chasing is seen as a simp which the male equival…
