Tbh, and I used to loathe when someone would recommend this, find a good make counselor - one who understands men's issues. I think you need a strong, supportive male figure in your life who can help you challenge these negative beliefs about yourself.

A more accurate title: "The hard naked truth about not doing the inner work required to stop being a pushover and becoming a self-validating, integrated man." A disastrous marriage is simply a side-effect of entering a romantic relationship before one becomes strong and secure within oneself.

I think the problem with "being yourself" is that its meaning is ambiguous. To those who are comfortable in their own skin and with themselves, it makes perfect sense. To those who are riddled with insecurity and inner negativity then its meaning and supposed value is elusive. To me, "being myself" just means to enjoy own being and not feel like I'm TRYING to be anything. Instead, because ive streamlined my psyche and body, I'm naturally pursuing excellence and my core purpose. Developing that i…

Good point. Much easier to start with 5-10 minute sessions. However, I think it would be more effective to do at least three 5 minute sessions daily. I don't think that is unreasonable for a beginner.

The term "caring" has taken quite a hit. You shouldn't demonize the concept of caring, but I understand exactly what you mean by saying it. I read what you wrote, and it's evident that you have an emotional wound. Your quick temper, as you're aware of, is a response to your insecurity being activated or revealed - an overcompensation or fight defense by your body to combat the, now nonexistent, threats. My prescription, as I have made leaps and bounds in terms of progress regarding similar issue…

The thing about insecurities is that "being insecure" is infinitely more unattractive to women (and people in general) than the actual thing we're insecure of ourselves.

As Benny Lava said, lifting and using its energy to get your physical body in shape. On the other end of the spectrum, getting into meditation and learning how to feel and observe your anger while it flows through you without getting attached to it will be a very valuable skill to develop. Not being able to do this causes one to get stuck in anger and thus become miserable. A "real man" isn't ruled by his triggered emotions but can observe and evaluate them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
