Really though? Men like effortless beauty. They want a slim woman with a flat stomach and round bubble butt ass but no one who diets, avoids trashy food and hits the gym a lot. They want nice long hair on ladies but not the salon trips and hair routine. They want the put together outfits and good skin but not the shopping, the expenses behind it, the long skincare routines etc.

Okay but getting socked in the face by a man hurts significantly more and does more damage than if a woman does it. Also the rape and pregnancy thing still stands if nothing else.

I mean as an ugly person ive accepted that, but I’m also somehow holding out hope for plastic surgery because at least then I’ll know I tried everything and it will offer me a chance to look average. I’ve mostly given up hope on looking attractive or being in a relationship yes, but looking average is still possible with work done. I personally don’t see myself as someone who deserves love and respect in that fashion so the reality was easy to accept but for others not sure.

In my experience as an ugly woman, most men go for someone slightly above their range or looksmatch. Also there is more pressure for women to look nicer and put together(makeup, hair done, hair removal, nice outfit etc. you can take this a step further to include stuff like filler, Botox and more) so that might also be clouding the looksmatch.

The comfort thing is pretty big. This probably sounds pretty morbid but I know that as a bi women in the worst case scenario if another woman raped me I couldn’t get pregnant- being pregnant by rape is a pretty huge fear for me and second another worst case scenarios if there was stuff like trying to force me to do something, harassment, abuse, etc I could probably fight them off much more easily just due to the strength and size difference between biological men and women.

Agreed- the pool that above average and even average girls have to chose from is very high. I have been an incredibly ugly woman my whole life, and while I have lost weight, my face has only continued to get uglier. I have had to fight tooth and nail to even get a cent of attention from average guys, but I have witnessed my whole life, since 5th grade like you, really, the good looking girls do nothing and get the interest of several guys. This has pretty much lasted. into high school, college, …

You wouldn’t sell a commodity if there was no one willing to buy it. If sex work was found as so disgusting and vile by the people buying it, they wouldn’t purchase the item and there would be no motivation to put the item on the market to begin with.

I mean even the old guys who have fondled me and yelled at me on the street have not asked me out so idk what your point is? Like if someone said "hey bitch" at you on the street or grabbed your cock, would you assume that that they are trying to take you to coffee/dinner and be in a relationship with you?

So I should go on a date with a drunk man on the road who is in his 50-60s making him older than my father? Or should I go on dates with the creepy old man at my former workplace who touches me without permission? Let me know which one. I would also like to know if you would date women who are 40 years your senior and fondle your genitals and ass without permission. Let me know (:

I think the opposite. I’m a pretty unattractive female and one ugly bitch. Usually get zero guys running after me- I used to do all the running myself until my legs got tired and I realized that some people like me don’t deserve a date. TRULY ugly women get far far less attention than people realize. It’s true, some people have gone after me. And my people I mean extemely mentally ill old or drunk people on street corners that yell randomly and talk to walls.

Really? I’m technically normal weight but blessed with poor weight distribution and a small frame so 5’2.5 and 110 around looks pretty large on me. Most people tell me to lose weight and I’ve tried but resigned myself to being a chonker at the moments since I’m never dating anyway. I live in America and I’ve been called chubby and big by most people I met and most guys prefer to go to for girls skinnier than I am.

how do you know people 100 years ago were also not just as collectively unhappy or perhaps more?

I agree with you- I think OP genuinely fails to understand what a government's job is or disagrees with what it is.

Birth control and other forms of contraceptives have existed way before the 20th century, in ancient China and Greece and probably other places lol.

How is it not relevant. Read the title again. Title says, let me quote here "birth control, condoms, and contraceptives are also not needs". Then, this comment said, birth control is used for other needs besides preventing pregnancy. Seems like you are the one with the failing logic. It is relevant.

It's still birth control whether you call it that or a hormone lmao, its like you're switching wrappers on a food item. Still the same damn thing inside.

15USD/hr sounds nice where you are, but in America its not that much, might even be around minimum wage because the cost of living is so high. So then it ends up not amounting to that much overall.

I think it depends what platform you go on, because sometimes I (22F) find GenZ relatable, but other times I am completely weirded out by them, especially on tiktok, I honestly think that their "iconic" group is confined to these who are in their mid-teen years.

Personally I’d rather not lie to myself that I am attractive or beautiful. I knew I was not. I knew since before vindicta formed, before Reddit was invented. So vindicta lifted me up out and showed ways I could be better. I view plastic surgery as a way to love myself not to attract men.

That’s like 1% of the age group in 18-22 lmao. You really trying hard with that 40 grand example.

IMO i think socially being a below average girl in looks is way worse than being a below average men. You get all of the negative parts of being a woman- treated worse by medical professionals, workplace sexism, creepers, etc without any of the benefits.

I think it is because I have read in some of my classes women have a higher emotional intelligence and develop socially faster.

Yes I’m a girl who is sexually attracted to men or women I guess for some context maybe the post was confusing!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
