Such biases exist in every group. It is easier for a person of a group to criticize themselves and being accepted than for a person outside of the group. A women downplaying issues faced by women will be considered uninformed whereas a man downplaying issues faced by women will be considered misogynist. I think both of you want your relationship to work out and are trying to take steps towards it. However, you don't know how to and when it doesn't work out, you get frustrated. I suggest you guys go to couples counseling and/or therapy to improve your mental health and relationship issues if that's affordable. Or maybe it is because women get pregnant because of sex which they are trying to end using "Abortion" which is being banned. I mean, women are not all about sex but abortion does totally relates to sex.
