The funny thing about young people on reddit is how they assume they are experts in everything and try to talk down to you about something you have extensive personal experience with. That's when you hit em with from the top rope with the hammer of life experience and make them look completely stupid.

Actually, I do, because I got married in foreign, non-western country. Soo....I've literally done the thing I'm talking about, meanwhile you're an idiot on the internet ignorantly spouting off about things you don't know about.

Let me try to explain. What happened was you went from partners to family. Someone stood in front of the world and formally declared you as theirs. Yeah, you could say you're together forever, but those are just words. Like I'm a complete stranger, and if I met you and your spouse, I'd automatically give your relationship more legitimacy because you actually walked the walk. Marriage is an action. Like how you can tell a kid he's your kid all day, but adopting a him is an action and a declaratio…

And plenty of people in non western countries are under insane pressure to get married young and provide grandkids, fulfilling their filial piety duties. So, what you said was a completely empty statement.

Sounds like your quarrel is with the family courts, not with the institution of marriage. FYI if you're unmarried, you'll still end up in family court if you have a kid.

Uh, bad news, dude, the government has that level of control whether you get married or not. The only thing that marriage does is change how you and your partner can operate within that scope of control.

Beckys and Karens often have the inability to see Asian women as anything other than the target of a fetish, because they view AAPI women as below them in the racial hierarchy, and fetishism is the only logical explanation why a man would go down and not up the hierarchy.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/24 07:11 PM

The thing is, you only need to get 1 yes to be a success.

If I was going into a LTR with the mindset that I want everything to be equal and be able to walk away cleanly, and my partner felt the same, then that's the kind of relationship we would have. Careful, pragmatic, and guarded. Plus, most normal people are compatible to fit in a relationship like that. Personally, I would never want a LTR like that. If I'm going to share my life with someone, it has to be a burning lifelong inferno of cult-like devotion and passion where our entire fucking souls …

Nobody can dominate you without your consent. If she's trying to dominate you unsuccessfully, she's wasting her own time and her own youth pursuing something that's leading nowhere, while you have sexual access to her. If anything, you come out ahead in that scenario. If she gets attention from hot dude and cheats, she was always a cheater, whether she was hot or not. Even average woman get such opportunities. If she thinks you're beneath her, she'll have always thought you were beneath her. The…

I've never been crazy about any of the superhero bullshit that's been infecting cinema for the last 20 or so years (even though I grew up a fan of the originals in the early/mid 90s) but I will say the sole exception is Dr. Strange series. Benedict Cumberbatch is easily the best lead actor across all of marvel and the stories are amazing. Honorable mentions: I DID like Iron Man when it first came out, but I didn't like any of it after that point. That humor got old fast. Same with Guardians of t…

Yeah I think that's smart cause I'm doing the same thing for her. She'll be taken care of for life, as long as she doesn't go crazy and make horrible choices.

See, I don't pretend that it's normal, which is why I tell dudes around here not to have kids and definitely not to get married. Yeah, I'm married and have kids, but I'm a special case. Most dudes around here would be better off getting into some WFH tech overemployment scheme and then move abroad as a passport bro.

If a girl that average looking can get all these dudes to simp that hard for her, then she's gotta be an absolute legend. I respect the skill. But it also kinda makes me wonder about my own daughter. Like I'd be disappointed if she turned out like this, but what dad could ever conceive of his daughter having a roster of sugar daddies.

If they're older, it's because they don't like their job. If they're younger, it's because they're lazy and probably entitled thinking that they world owes them something just for existing. Personally, I love my job. But at this point in my life, I make so much and don't need all that money, so I'm gonna cut my hours in half and get more into my hobbies. Maybe just a couple more years of full time.

The tell is accountability. If a woman takes full accountability for where she currently is in life and claims to be fine with it, then she is probably happy. They are in the minority and are usually too busy with their lives to sit around and bitch on reddit or other social media about men. If she refuses accountability, blames it on men being trash, and proclaims that she's better off alone and happily single, she's 100% secretly bitter and unhappy. These are women with less than stellar perso…

You're indifferent because you're thinking about a baby in an abstract sense. It doesn't exist yet, it doesn't have a face or a name. Let me put it this way, when successful career actress Eva Mendes was asked about kids when she was young and single, she said she didn't want to ever have a baby. Once she was in a relationship with Ryan Gosling, she started saying "I want to have his babies". It's called a paradigm shift.

Before my wife met me, she had her own career, made her own money, was pretty independent, but she did it because she had to. It ultimately made her unhappy, unfulfilled, and honestly kinda antagonistic and bitchy from the stress. We met, got married, and had kids, and she left the workforce. Once there was no longer the pressure to provide, her personality changed for the better as she felt happy, fulfilled, secure, and "whole". She embraced her feminine role wholeheartedly. Instead of grinding…

Wouldn't there be a lot less competition in a demographic collapse, though? Especially when you consider how many families are falling out of the middle class and can't afford tutoring, extra-curriculars, etc.

Eh, I had my kids 10 years ago, and I can't imagine the world being that radically different 12 years from now when they'll be entering the workforce. Honestly, the only thing I feel is really fundamentally different in the last 25 years is that we now have smartphones.

There's a selection bias though with reddit women. Like if you go to a more rural blue collar type of place, those women would see that type of funny, charismatic man that internet women like as kind of effeminate and weak.

Honestly, certain women tend to get away with being boring themselves by placing the onus on the man to be the interesting one. But she's the common denominator because she sucks the air out of the room and turn off others. I've never met a legit interesting, fun woman that ever complained about others being boring. They make their own fun.

I'm not telling anybody what they want or worrying about their life. Idk how you got that from the words that I wrote. What I'm saying is that people who are constantly on the internet and socially incentivized to put forth the image of the unbothered strong independent single who makes their own happiness are probably the ones most likely to make an ill-advised choice out of pride and then regret it later on. Of course, they never talk about the regret. You only see the fronting.

American women at the top of the privilege hierarchy in America have ALWAYS exhibited veiled hate and bigotry toward people who don't look like them. In their eyes, these people are the help. Oh, they'll pretend like they're progressive, open-minded, and love everyone, but the fangs will come out when a woman they perceive as less-than starts to get uppity and won't stay in her lane.

Convenient. but critically think about why you don’t hear of them and that is 100% by design. Using phrases you clearly don't know the meaning of isn't a good look. Bro just look at the numbers. People will give up everything to live in LA/NYC. The cost of living is sky high because everyone wants to be there. The famous, the wealthy, the beautiful, the powerful, the dreamers, etc. Nobody's doing that for Chicago.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/23 05:36 PM

The vast majority of unsuitable people don't think they are the problem. That's my point, they never say "finally" because they themselves fall short and it just never works out. Or they get into the LTR and it falls apart, and they blame the other person. It's never them.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/23 05:30 PM
1

The weather, ofc. I've been to Chicago multiple times. Truth is, it's a big city with a massive suburb around it, just like every other big city with a massive suburb around it. It's not that unique. Beyond that, the lack of any real natural geographic features besides the lake. Not a lot of high-prestige industries there. Ok for example, LA has Hollywood and music, SF has tech, NYC has finance. These cities are internationally known for these things.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/23 05:22 PM

You know, we see a lot about how OLD has so many bad matches from the female perspective, but I'm starting to realize that there's proportionally just as many shitty/trash women on there, too. Like there are a LOT of unsuitable, undesirable women in the dating market. But they don't get highlighted because the guys they want to get with will still have sex with them (because it's basically a layup), but then next/ghost them afterward. Or relegate her to FWB, depending on if she can play along. A…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/23 05:04 PM

The cost of living is cheap because nobody with any money actually wants to fuckin live there. Like when's the last time a sports superstar decided they wanted to go to Chicago in free agency? Every famous person from Chicago got the fuck out ASAP. People fuckin call it Chiraq, dude. Nobody's ever like "I want to chase my dreams and move to Chicago". Never have I ever been in a foreign country and told someone I was from America and they were like "Oh yeah I want to see Chicago lol.

It's not similar at all. You don't typically acquire shared assets and community property while you're out traveling. My wife's share of our net worth is literally 50x what it was when she was on her own. Even her monthly allowance is far more than what she made while working. I'll concede that she doesn't have total independence, but that's kind of the point of getting married, having a family, and sharing your life with loved ones.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/23 05:35 AM

It's not a woman thing, it's a cultural thing. This is a problem for when you live in a highly contextual, highly combative dating market. It really doesn't have to be like this but dudes insist on trying to get water from a stone.

Seems underwhelming to me. Especially if your entire world hinges on your looks. I'd rather spend the day commanding the respect of my peers and my community in the outside world and then come home to a household of loyal followers that adore and admire my leadership. Turn off. Don't get me wrong, I like women with a little bit of a strong/spicy personality, but I need feminine energy that is complementary to mine. Like their natural state should be warm and sweet. Like I'll take a mid looking feminine girl next door over a hot, combative, ambitious career woman boss babe type with a gym body that wants to be part of a power couple. They just operate in fundamentally different paradigms in how they approach and live life.

I do appreciate it when simp-adjacent men jump on these landmines to protect the rest of us. Cause there's no fucking way in hell I'd tolerate that bullshit.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 02:12 AM

I think so. Not only do I get pride out of what I do, but I get respect from society, and it gives me a UMC+ income. Like, I get internal, external, AND pragmatic validation from my career. It's great.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 02:03 AM

Yes. Cast them off onto an island of lepers and misfits.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/23 05:37 PM

I don't feel bad for them. In 2023, most single women exist primarily to labor and consume. This is a multibillion dollar industry driven off of female insecurity. Personally, I think they should be spending more money. Better they put their money into the economy rather than, idk, save it, leave it to their kids, or buy real estate or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/23 04:33 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/23 04:23 PM

What if he doesn't want her there overnight, though? If the genders were flipped and he was trying to stay at her place after getting denied sex, is she an asshole for not wanting that too?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/23 04:06 PM

You can be polite to people but this universal expectation that everyone be kind is naive and ridiculous. But expected in 2023. You just can't be real with people anymore. This is another good example of "watch what women do, not what they say". I have to laugh at all the women saying they'd love a gym just for women where they can be free of the male gaze and would happily join, but I think it's cap. If that was a popular sentiment, women's gyms would be making bank everywhere. The health, safety & stability of my future children is always going to be a priority for me. "Won't someone think of the children?" I bought mine right before covid, and it's gone up 500k more than what I paid. And I'm sitting on a 2% mortgage. Best of both worlds. I don't see those rates ever getting that low again. It really fucked up the housing market hardcore because 1 mil @ 2% is the same payment as 600k at 7%. So it exploded the market because people don't care as long as they can afford the monthly payment.

Why do you assume you would be infantalized or be financially abused by someone you chose to marry? You seem absolutely terrified of these things to the point of being paranoid and letting it drive your life decisions. Idk personally I'd hate to be married to a woman that couldn't trust me enough to be vulnerable or rely on me. Like why tf would you stay with me if you couldn't trust me? If you're a man, people respect physically imposing men that seem like a credible threat or men that can give them something that they want. Other people will size you up. If you look sloppy, fat, weak, and nerdy, they will dismiss you as a non-threat and treat you like a one would treat a child. When you're overly nice, people start to think you lack a spine and are easy to walk all over. Also, if you're too open, overly chatty, and reveal too much of yourself.

No, I was talking about a life experience I've had. And I don't consider myself superior as a human, just superior to people who lean into said persona. I don't think I'm alpha at all, but the numbers are what they are. This is why I can't talk about this type of stuff, lol. People get too in their feelings.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/23 09:08 PM

They are indifferent to you, not the topic being discussed. If someone is having a discussion with someone else about this topic, they aren't obligated to consider the feelings of you, a third party intruding on their discussion. If this disturbs your peace, then feel free to do what you said in the first line.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/23 03:41 PM
2

It's not ignorance, it's indifference. People don't owe anyone else the courtesy of giving a shit about their mental state. Especially you, of all people. We're not going to walk on eggshells and self censor just cause you feel some type of way about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/23 03:15 PM

Then that's funny because I don't really talk shit about success or take on that alpha persona. I just discuss it matter of factly. Maybe insecurity drove them to make that comment, idk. What I'm discussing is when people do, in fact, do that. If I did the same, I'd imagine a richer person would feel the same about me.

I don't mean this to say I look down on them, but rather, it's like being an NBA player playing pickup basketball at some local park. Everyone just kinda understands the disparity and we don't need to belabor it unless someone has to get put in their place. Tokyo can be tough because young women are grinding so hard at work just to stay afloat. I'd do Kansai region for sure, maybe Fukuoka if you want a more chill vibe. Plus the weak yen turns 500k into 800k. You better know your nihongo though. If you're ok with heat and humidity, Singapore has a lot of English speakers and is diverse af, which i like. Taiwan less so but imo way more fun than Tokyo, and not as cold. Never was a big fan of Seoul, but I like other parts of Korea.

Nah, imo that ain't the way. I've got 2. All you gotta do is balance it. Sometimes their needs come first, sometimes they don't. You have to use your judgment as a leader. You can be a soccer mom and still be a sexual being, but it requires effort and a bit of luck with who you marry. It takes effort to lose the baby weight. It takes effort to keep it off. Sorry, after re-reading it, my point didn't make much sense. It's more like being responsible for having to "carry" a man as a dependent. Making sure he's protected, provided for, etc. Women see it as being his mommy, while men see doing that for a woman as simply being a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/23 10:20 PM
1

Not being told what to do comes with power. But power comes with responsibility and accountability. In a traditional household, if the man fucks up, everyone knows who to blame. When it's 50/50, you can veto the things you don't want to happen, but you can also point your finger at the other person too if things go wrong. Notice how women will almost never demand more than 50%. That's because at 50%, their objective is achieved, anything more is a waste.

It's because modern women want the power of authority in a relationship (they don't want a man to tell them what to do) but not the burden of responsibility that comes with it. 50-50 is the only logical way to get that. Why men buy into it? Well, a lot of dudes will agree to anything if it gets them access to sex.

As Kendrick Lamar once said "I can't fake [being] humble just because your ass is insecure". When you get to a certain level of success, you get tired of hearing people make excuses. You even give people the tools and the knowledge to become successful and they sit on their ass and do nothing with it. And that's when you realize, most people suck and deserve where they are in life. Like, women as a whole could literally mobilize and take over society and the government tomorrow, rewrite the cons…

Sure, it can be, but good luck getting those women to admit the possibility that they themselves are the problem, not men in general.

Way better to have too many kids. Sure we may not be rich, but we'd have what we need to get by and be surrounded by love. That is a life worth living. A life spent feeding ones own survival needs and hedonistic desires is not, IMO. Id rather have 7 kids than 0. But I'm cool with the 3 I got, lol.

Saying men are intimidated by their intelligence is a 4-letter c word that rhymes with rope. Intelligent women get cuffed all the time. The difference is, those women don't make intelligence, degrees, and career their entire personality. They often have a lot of qualities that correlate with high intelligence but don't lend themselves to good relationships. They also tend to be rather awkward, entitled, and neurotic. Like its cool if you've got a PhD but men have to actually like you as a person…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/23 05:29 PM

Value for the purposes of sexual selection and leagues are aggregate assessments within a particular population. For example, billy bob redneck with the lifted truck would probably play well in the Midwest and the South, but not so much in LA or NYC. There's no other way to communicate this rise/drop in desirability outside of the concept of women determining that man's SMV. So yeah the aggregate of female sexual attraction towards you does determine your value. But no one individual woman can, …

I've noticed that so many women's actions in life seem to revolve around living in fear of destitution. As a girldad, my #1 goal is to raise an easygoing, kind woman whose hopes and dreams guide her choices rather than her fears and worries. I'm going to free her from this capitalist slave machine and give her the most important thing: freedom.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/23 04:35 AM

It means you're letting your fears dictate your actions and decisions rather than your hopes and ambitions. If you want an awesome relationship you have to put yourself out there and trust ppl. It's a risk, but as the saying goes, "nothing ventured, nothing gained". If you're too afraid to do that, you either end up settling for something inadequate or just quitting altogether aka "happily single".

Political, left leaning but with strong family values.

Not everyone is supposed to get it. The educational expectations of an impoverished high school dropout single mom are not gonna be the same as a rich privileged kid from a family of professionals. So, if you met or exceeded your own expectations, then that should give you confidence in yourself. You set a goal and met the objective, which means you can probably do more challenging things and not be scared of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 05:00 PM

Trust and skepticism are two sides of the same spectrum. Either one communicates the same idea. It's the speaker's choice to use either to frame what they want to get across. For example, I'm skeptical about the quality of your education in English composition and your credibility to make such a demand.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 04:29 PM
2

Using a scale of trust communicates the same concept. Using the word skepticism isn't required if it doesn't flow in the conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 04:20 PM
1

This is why you don't seriously get involved with women that come from broken homes or fucked up families. Imagine marrying this girl and inheriting her in laws. Couldn't be me, fam. If this dude was smart, he'd have his fun with her and then send her back to the streets.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 04:12 PM
4

But trust is a spectrum, not an all-or-nothing thing. You can have a low, medium, or high amount of trust. Even then, it differs based on the subject. Like I can trust my wife enough to not fuck around on me, while not trusting her enough to give her a general power of attorney.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 04:08 PM

Hmm, 60 dollars an hour to nanny 3 kids during the day? I guess it's worth it if they're really young.

Most younger adults are lazy and undisciplined. Take solace in the fact that you're pretty normal in that regard.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/23 06:53 PM

It's fringe in Japan, I know that for a fact. Korea, less so, but certainly not the norm unless your family is hardcore traditionalist. Both countries are just too westernized unless you start delving into families that are into fringe traditionalism or religion. Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, and India aren't even East Asia. China, I don't have much familiarity with.

First, I haven't been trying to teach you anything. Second, I know a lot about certain Asian cultures, and less about others. The fact that you're so secretive about it only lends credence to my suspicion.

It feels like they are only doing it out of obligation, not because they genuinely want to go out of their way for me because they care for me. I mean, they are doing it out of obligation. If my wi…

What I stated would be true regardless of who it was directed at. But the fact that you're taking it personally (and then throwing a personal accusation at me) says a lot more. And yes, in my opinion, it is fringe. Feel free to correct me, but up to this point you've refused to name what culture, or even what country you're talking about (other than "East Asia"), which, if anything, makes your claim that it's not fringe very highly suspect.

If you had demonstrated a past ability to work with partners and compromise, then it would be logical to take you at your word. If you've never compromised for anyone, and say that will only do it once your demands (marriage) are made, then it would be a foolish to take you at your word.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 05:51 PM
1

You said yourself that you have a habit of breaking up at the first sign of trouble. Which tells me you have very little experience actually comprising with partners. "Well I'd do it for my husband" is fine to say cause it's theoretical, you never have to actually back up your words. Let me ask you this, would you marry a guy who's had plenty of chances to commit, but chose not to every time?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 05:47 PM
-1

You can do whatever the tf you want, but you really need to decide whether want to be with this dude, or you don't. Compromising on where you live is one thing. Having unilateral control is another.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 05:32 PM
1

It doesn't matter what you're being asked to compromise -- your mindset and logic reveals the immaturity, not the situation at hand.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 03:59 PM

That's not a compromise, it's a zero sum tit-for-tat. Like you feel like you have to take something from him to feel like you were made whole on your sacrifice.

Learning how to compromise in a serious relationship is how you make it to a marriage in the first place. Honestly, you seem pretty immature for even a serious relationship, let alone a marriage.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 06:52 PM

Been having fun for 12 years already!
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 06:45 PM

But we both know that's not what people mean by saying it's "hard work", which was then point before embarking on this pedantic tangent.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 06:45 PM

The amount of effort to take care of my partner is negligible. The sum total of effort required to live with my partner is actually less than the sum total of effort to live without her. Leadership isn't really conscious effort for me, though, that might have a lot to do with it. Not more than, say, breathing, or beating my own heart.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 06:17 PM

Not really. I don't doubt that it requires that for you, but that's a function of your relationships, and it isn't a universal truth. I'm sorry you've been made to feel like you have to spend more effort than being single.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 06:13 PM

Well, sucks to suck. At picking, anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 06:03 PM

No, they're talking about the delta in effort compared to being single. Like, I still have to get up and go to work whether I'm in a relationship or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 05:48 PM

Relationships and marriage don't require work, at least in the sense of conscious effort. Your relationship and marriage may require it, however.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 05:45 PM

Were you aware that other human beings have the ability to communicate their ideas and experiences through the written or spoken word?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 05:40 PM

There's no additional effort to maintain the relationship, genius.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 05:36 PM

I always feel sorry for people who say relationships or marriages are hard work. I've found that marriage and relationships are way too easy and effortless if the 1) the girl is diligent team player that can trust and follow the guy's lead, 2) the guy is a good leader and generally a good dude who handles his shit and doesn't cheat, and 3) they both fuck regularly. It's pretty simple, yet people constantly overcomplicate it. Particularly, chronically online overly neurotic "educated" people.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 05:04 PM

You know it's funny, despite agreeing with many red pill truths, my actions in life are very blue pilled. The most entertaining aspect is how much of a hater that one woman was. Like her emotional rollercoaster went from denial to anger to disgust to shaming to concern trolling. It was a sight to behold. Nah we should keep it all volunteer and force those kids to work the mines and fields while we give migrant laborers the opportunity for free college and citizenship. Pretty sure little old abuelas would be the hardest motherfuckers on the battlefield.

The bamboo ceiling exists primarily because of this. Asian kids are notoriously rule-following and risk averse, which is good for studious, safe, predictable upper middle class careers where you just do what you were told. That's because Asian cultures rewards rule following and knowing your place instead of winning. But American culture rewards winners, not rule followers. They want dudes with that killer instinct, not people who shy away from danger. People who can hustle, bend the rules and n…

From what I've seen, most women here lump both into one group and often won't make any sort of effort to acknowledge the distinction.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 01:43 AM

That's not at all the picture I painted. You're clearly not interested in what I'm actually saying, just looking for a reason to feel victimized and spout your talking points.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/23 01:22 AM

Men are more likely to buy adult toys like sports cars, motorcycles, ATVs, boats, airplanes, big ol trucks, RV's, guns, shit like that. A man's flex is a garage full of shit to do whatever hobbies they want. Women are more likely to buy luxury consumer goods, purchase "experiences" like travel or beauty treatments in order to engage in conspicuous consumption. A woman's flex is to look rich and show a lavish lifestyle to post on the 'gram.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/23 09:31 PM

I'm saying that people whose actions show that they have a lifelong desire to be a long term marriage partner, and have the skills and abilities one would look for in a long term marriage partner, tend to be more suited at being a long term marriage partners. You, on the other hand, are trying to fabricate an argument I'm not even trying to make. Probably because you have no point, but idk.

I never suggested they should change. It's simply a caveat emptor.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/23 08:57 PM

Who says it's shameful? If I wanted to hire someone to do a project for my house, I'd probably find someone who has demonsted those skills in the past, not an doctor with none of the skills or experience looking to do a career change because they lost their medical license.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/23 07:28 PM

It's not about getting married. It's about learning how to identify who is good wife material and who is a ticking time bomb.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/23 07:26 PM

It's not generally seen as positive. Women have a very hard time admitting to settling, even when they know it's true.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/23 07:22 PM

Single women getting to their mid 30s and suddenly wanting a marriage (or kids) when they didnt before is a massive red flag. If she just flew from her ho phase to her career phase to her wife phase, she's demonstrated a history of trying something new, getting bored after a few years, and launching into a new chapter. The wall conveniently aligns with this, like an NBA player suddenly discovering a love for perimeter shooting as his athleticism falls off a cliff from before. You as a man are ju…

What you find creepy is the result of your socialization and acculturation. I've seen enough bad shit in life to know that a good dude is a good dude, and a bad dude is a bad dude, and the age is irrelevant in that calculation.

I can cosign this. I tried watching anime a long time ago and it felt like it was explicitly created for weird disaffected socially awkward shut ins. I do like k-dramas though, I watch that shit all the time. The acting is top notch.

Honestly if I was a single finance bro, it'd be a hell of a lot easier to just compartmentalize relationships into regularly scheduled transactions by utilizing sugar babies, escorts, and maybe a FWB. There's a certain point where you make the money faster than you can spend it, but what truly becomes precious is time. I would legit hire some dude from India to manage my manwhoring schedule and which nuts to bust at which time.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/23 06:14 AM

We say people are going to do what they do because there's nothing you can do to change the system itself. You may as well be debating the currents of the ocean. It's going to go where it wants to, all the same. But you can do is debate how to navigate those ocean currents to arrive at your chosen destination.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/23 06:05 AM

Techbros are pretty damn unattractive tbqh. Yeah it makes money but people don't really respect them outside of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/23 05:55 AM
1

The wall isn't about struggling in dating, it's simply the recognition that they're on the wrong side of their attractiveness peak. Similar to sports, there are certainly players that can still do amazing past the age of 30, but the majority start fading fast, and even the superstars start to fall off after a while.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/23 05:45 AM
1

Change the system? It's not a regulated market where you can just impose new rules, it's an aggregation of the actions of millions of people trying to navigate dating, sex, and relationships. As people go, so goes the market. The market is simply a reflection of how those people's wants and desires. A man's ability to secure positive results in such a system makes his value self-evident.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/23 05:36 AM
1

Well, it's not that the dating market is above being questioned, but results are results. Like, you either have the ability to achieve your desired results, or you don't. And I'm talking about what someone actually desired, not what most people do by trying, failing, lowering their expectations, and capping to anyone who will listen about how they simply wanted that all along.

An innate tendency or instinct. Sort of like how young adults have a predisposition toward staying up late, while the elderly have a predisposition toward going to bed early.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/23 06:34 PM
-1

I think its more like women have a general predisposition toward nesting that men don't have. Whereas men have a predisposition toward taking on more dangerous work.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/23 06:23 PM
1

Even if preferences weren't biological, men have no right to get upset by it. That's petty and immature. People want what they want. There's billions of humans out there, you don't have to match with all of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/23 05:08 PM

Not really. Because every post i make that references my own life is very positive. Like I literally talk about how grateful and thankful I am for my life, lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/23 04:47 PM

See this is why I tell men not to marry women who think like that. They have one foot in the relationship and one foot out to defend against the marriage failing. With a marriage, you jump in with both feet or don't jump in at all. I'm not saying she can't work, but if that's the reason why she's working....

When I tell people that any history of mental illness or abuse is my deal-breaker for a serious relationship, this is one of the reasons why. Not my job to rescue some girl from her demons. Like imagine dealing with this bullshit the rest of your life.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/23 03:48 PM

I was doing some financial housekeeping today, and idk, sometimes I look at my own life and wonder what I did to deserve so much success and love when so many others don't have it.

1

What's fake about that? It's a pretty common dating strategy.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 05:36 AM
1

Because people generally do it out of fear, not out of apathy. Telling someone you're not interested after dating them is a normal and expected social obligation in dating. It's not a law, but it is a widespread expectation. I could buy that you don't owe them anything because you don't give a shit, if that is consistent with your normal attitudes and actions in every day life. But if it's not, then you're doing it because you're a straight up bitch-made coward, period dot.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 05:29 AM

The quality of women hasn't gone up. Their ability to live in a bubble and believe the delusional bullshit they tell each other to avoid the ugly truth has skyrocketed. But i agree with your assessment, both sides have gone way down. Just a bunch of fuckin losers shitposting about each other, lol.

The shitty decision is financing a degree that they have no realistic way to pay back, it has nothing to do with what you studied. Like you knew what the career prospects were and just kept piling on the debt anyway. That's a shitty decision. If you want to argue that college should be free, then bailing out student loans took us much further from that goal, because now schools are incentivized to raise tuition even higher knowing Presidents will simply just forgive the debt to buy votes. Costs …

You know, I think Trump was by far the worst president we've ever had, but I do feel an urge to punish Biden for canceling billions in student loans just to get votes. Question is, is my dislike for a racist capitalist grifter stronger than my dislike for legions of smug, lazy, worthless Gen Z kids getting bailed out of the consequences of their shitty decisions? Truly a moral dilemma.

So then it's not really East Asian mainstream, it's a niche subculture that happens to be based in East Asia. It'd be like a Mormon or Amish passing themselves off as "American". Yes, technically, but seems a bit misleading, possibly on purpose.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/23 02:20 PM

You never actually say which culture you're talking about, though, just a vague mention of East Asia. I mean, there's cults in East Asia, too.

If your reasoning for restraint is based off of cultural norms or religious rules that require everyone to abstain from sex, then that makes sense if males are specifically and unambiguously held to the same standard. But if males and females have asymmetric cultural obligations and expectations, you don't get to demand symmetry because it's fair. You either follow the dogma, or you don't.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/23 06:43 AM

Possibly.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/23 06:05 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/23 05:55 AM

That's a really good observation.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 01:39 AM

It's wild how people on the internet will get damn near personally offended if you express a completely benign dating preference that doesn't include them or the type of women they like. Like you're not going to die alone if you narrow your pool from 2 million to 1 million. Jfc, people.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 01:38 AM
1

This is such an absurd reaction. If I cut my dating pool by 90% because I only wanted to date black women, you wouldn't say the same thing. You wouldn't say yikes if a Korean man only wanted a Korean woman. Yall have this weird desperation/scarcity mindset.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 01:26 AM

I love kids. Honestly, I'd be more willing to overlook that one depending on the situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 05:49 PM

We simply wouldn't progress past the fun dating stage. She could be a FWB, though.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 05:14 PM

Nah, there are tons of women that fit the profile in everyday life. Gotta get outside of the bubble of mostly liberal, white, middle-class career women in urban centers.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 05:07 PM

27-45
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 05:01 PM

Besides the fact I think it looks ugly, it also hints at a certain style or mindset that's not congruent with the type of woman I'd want to commit to.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 05:01 PM

So I have about 5 deal-breakers for dating a woman, if i were ever to be single again: N > 7 any tattoos, visible or not piercings other than ears any history of abuse or mental health issues kids Having any of these means I'd never take you seriously. Like we can drink and fuck, but I'm not taking you along with me to go party in Ibiza or anything. And without fail, the most controversial one was the no tats. Like people legitimately flip out when they hear that one, and I still don't know why.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 04:45 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 07:38 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 07:33 PM

Dude, banging older women who are desperate for dick and attention in your 20s has been a staple of average dudes getting laid for like 50 years. Just don't be the dumb fuck that actually commits to her. Cause everyone will clown your dumb simp ass behind your back. Had a few buddies learn that lesson the hard way.

And while it's doing my taxes or whatever, I'll just kinda bend it over and fuck it in the ass every once in a while.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 05:47 AM

Lol I wouldn't even break up with her for trying to cheat. I'd be fucked up from the reality check that I'm dumpster diving with this ugly chick. Wait actually no, I'd just use her as a FWB until I found another steady gf.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 12:51 AM

I think what surprises me is how good they are at false confidence. When I was a young adult, I didn't even pretend like I knew wtf was going on because there's no way I could pull off the lie 24/7. But these kids will straight up argue with people with twice as much experience and go around like they know how life works, and it's like... dude I know you're full of shit. You are a 100% a scared child in a world of adults, stop embarrassing yourself.

I've been watching this show on netflix about a bunch of unathletic middle aged Korean female celebs playing basketball and it's one of my favorite shows ever. There's one girl on there, Okja, that I've got a crush on. She's beautiful and she plays killer defense. And she let out this intense primal scream when she scored her first basket in-game, and I was like goddamn that is the hottest thing I've ever seen in my life.

Look, I'm not gonna comment on women's unhappiness, but I can say for a fact that once my wife found me, a man whose leadership she could actually trust and rely on, her attitude changed dramatically. The realization that "hey, maybe I'm happier and work better in a support role rather than trying to run everything" and embracing that truth was a major turning point in her life. Supporters trying to be leaders because their pride demands it are only hurting themselves in the long run.

Man there's something about dating island girls that just hits different. You can just live in the moment with them and have a good time, and things like career or status or education don't matter. It's like just get some good food, some good music, and it's some "let's just hit the beach and chill and smoke weed" type of energy. Fuck, man, island girls are the best. Especially if they're a little sporty and feisty and have dark features, damn that's my kryptonite.

Idk, with the admin class, as you put it, they are easily pandered/marketed to and manipulated. You validate their bullshit, and they become easily manipulated puppets. The professionals are more shrewd, though. The elites essentially bribe these people to keep society running and, in return, afford them a degree of freedom and self-determination through financial means.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/23 05:50 AM

I agree, but with the caveat that I think there's going to be a LOT of estate transfers from boomer estates over the next 10 years, and it'll be interesting to see where that wealth/property ends up going. My guess is a lot of asset liquidation that ends up as consumer/consumption spending.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/23 05:08 AM

Avoid whatever you want. The girls will still show up, all the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/23 04:59 AM

Yeah, but your concept of harm comes from a place of paternalism and thinking you know what's better for them, not genuine concern for their well-being. It would be like refusing to take your girl's virginity because it "sullies" her in your eyes, even though she wants it. You're not obligated to participate in it, but you're fooling yourself by thinking it's some noble act.

Imo, you can't use celebrities to make a point. They live in a completely different world. Like 11/10 instagram thots hanging out in the hallway of your hotel during NBA all-star weekend looking to pick you up is on a whole different level than what normal people can conceive of. A lot of it is the fact that raising a human being can be such a meaningful experience. You literally create a life from thin air, and then it grows and becomes this person who sees you as their entire world. They hit milestones and achievements under your guidance and mentorship, and you're like "wow we did that".
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/23 02:34 AM

Im not missing anything, you're the one saying traditionalism sounds like just brainwashing. I said the opposite of that claim is just as dumb, and pointed out something in the middle more nuanced is more appropriate. And now you want to walk it back and be all measured about "phasing it out". Own what you said.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 07:40 AM

You're missing the point. It's dumb to blindly follow traditions but also just as dumb to blindly reject them because you think you know better. Approaching it with equal parts skepticism and humility is the best practice. BTW stay at home wives was an aberration of the postwar era. If was never a "tradition".
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 06:45 AM

Idk man have you tried hookers? I mean at this point what have you got to lose.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 06:19 AM

Traditions have a survivorship bias. Reinventing the wheel because you think you're foolish enough to believe you've actually discovered something new under the sun is probably even dumber than blindly following traditions.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 06:15 AM

For casual stuff? It's whatever. Absolutely no way in hell I'd wife up a girl with a double-digit or more count. It's fine if other people do it, but I hold myself to a higher standard. A man's gotta have a code.

Anyone "could" become anything, but that's a useless, unactionable statement. What I'm saying is that boys have a higher degree of variability in talent and skill than girls do. I'm not saying girls don't need to be nurtured. You either understand what to do with that information, or you don't.

My ideal dating life is something similar to a modern era Ming dynasty era harem with a main wife and multiple concubines that compete with each other and go through political intrigues in order to curry favor from me. But failing that, my ideal is just being madly in love with a cute ride or die girl that will go to ends of the earth for me, and we're just together and inseparable for our entire lives and nothing or nobody would ever split us apart. This is what I have now, but I wish I met her…

It doesn't invalidate the point at all. Because the opting out came after the failure. Even if you get more chances, it doesn't change the fact that it's still a compromise. You tried and didn't succeed. A reluctance to try again is easily explained by a fear of failure. Especially when you've been telling everyone who would listen that you intentionally chose your compromise for multiple years. It reminds me of those NBA players who went years without winning a championship, trying to make a ca…

The way you frame it (alone over a crappy relationship) presupposes that you tried at relationships, failed, and compromised with being alone. That's a compromise. If you can't own that fact, then that makes it an even bigger compromise because that reveals added insecurity.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 01:59 AM

Your preference resulted from the inability to achieve what you actually wanted, and you're making your peace with simply being alone. Which doesn't really make it a preference, but a compromise. You tried, it didn't work out, and that's OK. But it's disingenuous to say it's a preference because it's fair to say that if things had worked out, you wouldn't have preferred to be alone.

Nobody is forcing you to party or drink at college. If you want to party and live "the college life", whatever tf that means, you're going to introduce a measure of risk into your life. This is what it means to be an adult, young lady. The world has risk, and you have to manage it and mitigate it. If you're that afraid of being assaulted, don't intentionally put yourself in situations that exponentially increase your chances of being assaulted. If I'm afraid of clowns, I sure as hell don't go to…

Strong male leadership makes such a huge, positive difference in people's lives, but all too often, I see it being taken for granted or outright disregarded as a causal factor behind having a healthy, positive upbringing. Tbh, this is a hard concept to articulate, but I'll try because I've seen people do this before, particularly overly cerebral people on the internet who are a bit overconfident in their own intelligence. The biggest problem that I have with blackpill logic is that it often hyper-focuses on promiscuous liberal city women. Nightclubs, college scenes, apps, etc., tend to over-represent these types of women, and if they aren't already in the city girl lifestyle, they certainly aspire to it. Many of the blackpill assumptions are very true for those girls, but there's a significant percentage of the female population that just doesn't want or aspire to that lifestyle. Out in more suburban/rural areas,…

Dating for the middle class is still in a transition period as kids of middle class boomers are more obsessed with feeding their own selfish pursuits and hedonism than building or continuing anything enduring. I disagree that such a thing would fit the definition of delusion, but if that "delusion" serves my goals rather than hinders them, then that's a far better course of action than kowtowing to the majority opinion. Like if I'm a short ugly dude and I just have stratospheric levels of true, unshakable confidence, (like say I'm a Navy Seal or something idk), then nothing anyone says could ever knock me off my game. The thing is, you're more the exception than the rule. Most people saying "kids would be too costly and take away my freedom/career/hobbies" don't really have much going on for them to begin with. They don't travel, don't volunteer, and have mediocre lives whether they have kids or not. But they don't let that stop them from trying to flex on the internet about how great their life is.

Kids don't make you poor. Lack of income makes you poor. Kids only exacerbate your existing lack of income to plunge you deeper into poverty. It's a contributing factor, but not a causal one. And don't kid yourself, even the nice retirement homes are awful.

Wtf no it wasn't. Wars on top of wars, 2 recessions, paranoid fucks going crazy about terrorism, beginning of the culture wars, sky high unemployment, people losing their homes left and right. Like yeah we had fun but it was in spite of all the bullshit.

As a kid haver, this is great news. A lot of inherited wealth going to genetic dead ends will usually evaporate into spending into the economy. Can't take it with you, after all. Educated, wealthy breeders will seek out other educated wealthy breeders and combine their family's collective wealth. The dead ends will spend it all off and die with no next of kin, and be replaced demographically with working class immigrants. As a result of investing in the mindless consumerism of childfree dead end…

/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/23 06:27 AM

I think the biggest thing is that young AsAm's stopped trying so hard to assimilate and started embracing their culture. I could never relate to the concept of shitting on your own heritage to fit in. Your family, your people, traditions, etc. Anyway, this is why i send my son back to Asia every summer. I won't even tolerate the possibility of him developing any self hate. Plus, it's good for him to see how other cultures date and relate to one another other, and be able to navigate both worlds.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/23 02:02 PM

Your concept of love and hurt is driven by the culture and society you grew up in. Most westerners, especially feminists, are moral absolutists that have a black and white value system, and can't conceive of any value system besides their own being acceptable. But tbh most people aren't self-aware enough to identify their own blind spots.

There are some people who actually believe this shit because they've literally never came inside of a woman before. The underside of the glans is designed to maintain positive contact with the vagina while you're thrusting. Like a harpoon or a fish hook.

I'll be honest, when I sit down and think about it, I have a pretty amazing life. Successful in my career, effortless marriage, amazing family, wealthier than anyone in my family has ever been, and I get to do things most people only dream of. Plus my wife is a cute ride or die fitness milf that treats me like a king and still lusts after me, even after all these years. She believed in me before I was even successful. It's not like I'm special or anything. I'm just really good at making decision…

I think that having problems and friction because of mismatched finances won't matter because it'll have problems and friction regardless. The vast majority of people people under 40 today are simply not wired to be in long-lasting relationships anymore. So is it reasonable? Sure. But it doesn't matter. For this generation, chronic breakups and dying alone will come all the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 06:31 AM

1/3rd of couples isn't a very compelling stat, to be honest. 2 people that have been dating for a few weeks is a "couple". More like situationships, temporary domestic partners, girlfriends living together into old age, and "happily single living my best life cause i refused to settle" is far more likely to rise with more women graduating college, not women breadwinners in marriages.

The definition of feminist is vague enough to include or exclude whoever you want, depending on whatever point you want to make at that particular time.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/23 03:11 PM

Nah, they're racists too, just didn't say the quiet part out loud.

She set him up to fail, though. She knows exactly how he is and just kept pressing and pressing until he did exactly what she knew he would do. Ofc all the women are in the comments are like "I'd divorce him on the spot!". Like holy shit imagine having to live with someone who will nuke your entire family on the spot if you make one wrong move. What a horrible way to live.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/23 02:46 PM
2

So, as a teenager, a lot of what you do is watching other adults and copying what they do because you don't know how to be an adult. Problem with that is you don't really understand the "why" what they do. Why do women make the choices they do? You can speculate from the outside looking in, but until you yourself go through the experience of doing it yourself, you won't get it because you've never been the one in the driver's seat of your own life. So when people tell you chill... just chill. Yo…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/23 02:00 AM

My point is, happiness is fleeting, like chasing a high from a drug. Meaning is what sustains you between the peaks and valleys.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/23 12:47 AM

There's more types of women out there than modern american women. Even in america.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/23 10:05 PM
1

I don't even think it's because they actually want a family, for men *or* women. It's more like, the drug of hedonism only takes you so far, and once you look back on your life of essentially being a dopamine junkie, you realize it's empty and vapid, and try to find meaning by going in a different direction than what led you to that point.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/23 09:59 PM

Happiness is how a child measures success imo. Finding meaning in your life is the best measure of success.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/23 09:53 PM

I get that, but the hunter-gatherer portion of human history isn't exactly our "peak" as a species, while the monogamous period is far more relevant.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/23 09:50 PM
3

Considering that during the monogamous period of human existence, our population and technological advancement has exploded exponentially, I'd say that's a better example of "what we're good at". Please continue to give us more of your hot takes.

I've been married for over a decade.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/23 09:32 PM

Interesting statement considering monogamy has been the overwhelming trend for all of recorded human history. But no, I'm sure this 2023 internet hot take is probably more accurate than all that.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/23 07:58 PM
2

Because certainly no woman would ever lie in order to save face when the topic of being older and single comes up. Surely could never happen in an era where humans are reported as being the happiest they've ever been, ever.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/23 07:54 PM
8

I'm not saying this happened in your case, but a LOT of guys will dismiss red flags because they're a little too understanding and open-minded.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/23 07:50 PM
3

Nah, they're actually pretty easy. If your relationships always take a lot of work, then the problem might be you.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/23 07:44 PM
3

Effort is never equal or symmetric. Somebody is always doing more work than the other, even if the intention is supposed to be equal.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/23 11:25 PM
1

It absolutely is. Maybe not for you, but the truth is most people in normal society have genuine respect for people that can build and raise a loving family that produces successful, well adjusted kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/23 07:37 AM
1

Nah, we have to see how many more millions of female college grads we can stuff into bullshit "marketing" jobs.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 03:59 PM
1

Proving what we already knew. But somebody's gotta do the work.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 03:56 PM
1

No I get it. But it's a telling massive cultural blind spot that most westerners can't conceive of the idea of choosing less personal freedom, even if it leads to a far better outcome. Of course, having a discussion about this with a feminist is like debating ethics with a religious fanatic. You'll just be branded a heretic and shut down.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 06:58 AM
1

Then the stated goal and the actual execution are pretty damn far apart, considering how often I see feminists shit on any woman who doesn't fit their idea of what she should want.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 06:41 AM
1

Well, I guess the illusion of choice is comforting.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 03:50 AM
1

Every time one of these feminists talk about how they have all this freedom to do whatever they want in life, and it's usually to just live in some shitty studio apartment making 50k a year or something as a corporate cog, drifting from shitty relationship to shitty relationship. Gj smashing the patriarchy as a woke childfree career boss babe just to end up as a mediocre adult anyway lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 03:32 AM
1

The fact that you're here complaining to us instead of talking to the literal human beings irl that are involved and relevant tells me that there's a pre existing reason they are blaming you.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 03:09 AM
1

Lol imagine dating for someone for that long and then getting chained into a lukewarm romance with a partner who's just kinda "meh" about you. I could never. I knew I wanted to marry my wife after like 6 weeks of dating. The rest was just doing my due diligence.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 08:42 PM
1

Because when you're not part of the ethnic majority of the country you live in, the issue of race colors almost every human interaction you have, whether you realize it or not. And Americans happen to be a more outwardly heterogeneous country than most.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 04:54 PM
1

Sorry, I'm not qualified to teach these concepts to autists.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 06:22 AM
1

Well yeah that's why I also said "more cosmopolitan". Two sides of the same coin.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 04:55 AM
1

People who treat their household pets like human beings give me the ick. It's like a completely accepted mental illness. I'm pretty sure in 20 years, people will just walk around flinging shit at each other, too, and of course now I'm the asshole for thinking it's not normal.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 04:46 AM
1

The issue here is that by saying you're from certain cities, you're implying you grew up in the urban core. Usually, people do that to seem more cosmopolitan or street tough. Like if he said "i grew up from a suburb of Chicago", it's way different than being like I'M FROM CHI-RAQ, BABY, BORN AND RAISED. Or whatever.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 04:41 AM
1

So you're saying there's literally no such thing as a negative feminine trait? There's nothing toxic that girls often do, that boys usually never do?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 05:14 PM
1

You don't even need to say that out loud. Just don't treat her like a friend. I'm either escalating sexually or just treating her like I'd treat some random dude. Once I started doing that, I never had to worry about the friendzone ever again. Problem is most men can't take no for an answer and think conditions may improve in the friendzone. But once a girl gets too familiar with you, your chances go down dramatically unless you're both timid and inexperienced.

Maybe talk less and listen more, and you might learn something.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 04:17 AM

Yep. You have to be the guy that she breaks her rules for.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/23 04:54 PM

Your life belonging solely to yourself isn't necessarily an objective, universal good thing. I've often found in life that people who boast the most about how they have so much freedom to do whatever they want are often the same people who act jaded, find little meaning in life, and suffer from chronic depression or addition issues. I'm not saying breeding is the answer to happiness, but a self-centered obsession with personal freedom sure hasn't turned out to be, either.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/23 04:50 PM

Refusing to procreate just to stop other people from procreating is a level of petty I can truly respect.

Women on the internet often weaponize certain buzzwords to shame weak willed men into compliance with their desired social order. See also: ick, creepy, weird, problematic, toxic, etc. The irony is that if you actually fall for it, they lose respect for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/23 12:15 PM

It's about ethnicity, not nationality. "American" is not an ethnic group unless you're talking about natives. People in a diaspora want to feel a sense of belonging. It's easy to live in a country and take for granted a sense of belonging when everyone comes from the same culture and its obvious you belong, too.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/23 10:49 AM

Nah just fuck your looksmatch. So if you're ugly too...

/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 04:57 PM

Nah, it's because when a guy they want approaches them, it doesn't feel like an approach, it's serendipity. Idk man, it's female logic, don't try to make sense of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 04:55 PM

There's no such thing as "objectively" wrong. Your opinion of right and wrong counts for nothing in this world. And I was referring to the people in your link. I don't insult children.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 04:47 PM

Usually if there's something I don't want to hear about, I'll refrain from starting internet discussions about it but do you I guess 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 04:41 PM

Because you don't actually care about male harm, you just see an opportunity to turn those men against other men. It's like when white liberals try to weaponize the black vote against the Republicans every 4 years. Dudes don't take kindly to manipulation. There's also a degree of disdain for professional victims.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 04:34 PM

Want whatever you want. But nobody owes you validation.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 04:27 PM

Aside from the sex? My girl always took care of me, doted on me, cooked for me, cleaned my place when I was away, and basically treated me like a king. Nothing hotter than watching a girl enthusiastically cook for you in a t-shirt and panties 30 minutes after you just came inside of her. She was also fun to hang out and have adventures with, too. If you're in a relationship with a girl and she doesn't do that shit, then idk what the fuck you are there for other than sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 03:18 PM

This isn't 1950, trad women will typically work whatever job until their first kid, go on maternity leave, and just not come back until the youngest is off to school full time. The wealthier ones might wait a bit later. Honestly, if I had to pick between that and the typical feminist offer of wage slavery, vapid consumerism, lives of rootless ennui, and mindless promiscuity with no real future except dying alone.... I think I'd pick the former.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 03:01 PM

Because people want what they want and anime originates from a culture where they don't really give a fuck about what fat blue haired white feminists from America have to say about it. I'm saying this as a guy who doesn't even like anime with the sole exception of Dragonball.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 02:39 PM

It's seems like a good place if you're relatively unambitious, prefer a low-key middle class existence, and prefer a certain type of cultural homogeneity that you can't say out loud. Which describes most redditors, hence the admiration of that place.

Except I'm not talking about women who got married young, at all. Didn't mention that one little bit. The decisions we make become the story of who we are as people. Like you can't just hand wave an entire decade+ of your life away talking about "that's not me anymore". It may not be who you want to be now, but there's a reason you chose that life and are only now rejecting it because you've aged out of the lifestyle. My point is simple: a woman who, when presented with the same choices in life …

I'll take a stab at this: A woman who has always demonstrated an inclination for the traits that men consider crucial for being a good wife and mother and conducive to a long marriage despite having the means and opportunity to fuck around will likely continue demonstrating those traits throughout her life. A woman who has previously never displayed any of those wifely/motherly traits, but rather those of hedonism, self-interested living, and general thottery through the years but has a sudden c…

This is a lot of questions. My ideal dating sphere? Bubble era Japan and nothing else comes close. Will women be in the workplace on the same level as men? No. Women are too weak and timid in the face of true, terrifying strength and power. They are resilient but generally not very brave or daring, and usually lack the balls (fortitude) to usurp the top dogs. What is to be done to counteract malcontent/lonely men? What is to be done to counteract malcontent/lonely women? Pacify them with porn, v…

Nah, make the women join the military, and send the men to trade school/technical colleges to learn engineering and shit. I'm pretty sure girls would act a lot differently if they had to actually contribute to the security of this society instead of parasitically feeding off of it just to chase their own selfish desires.

It was important, but proximity wasn't the most important factor. Safety, schools, and diversity were my most important factors. I ended up moving farther from work to live in a nicer part of town, effectively doubling my commute from 15 to 30 minutes, but it was worth it. Now going from 30 minutes to 1 hour would have been too much.

If he's fit then I'd say he's probably right, but it completely depends on if she's a bonafide cougar or not. "Average" looking at 45 is not particularly attractive, even if she is fit.

Okay let's back up. Feminine can be cute aesthetic, which you like. Feminine can also be sexy aesthetic. Most guys in East Asia prefer cute aesthetic over sexy aesthetic. Women with more androgynous and masculine features and bodies can pull off sexy aesthetic a lot easier than they can a cute one, which is why it's more popular in a place like America. Women tend to be bigger, stronger, fatter, and more masculine, so they work with what they've got. Where "feminine" turns into "androgynous" tur…

This is a pretty bad take. You absolutely don't need common interests or social proof to get a woman interested in you. Hell, even my wife had almost nothing in common with me when we first met.

A more accurate statement is that most men are bad at sex and would produce sexually unsatisfied women if not for oral sex. This baseline assumption that women can't be satisfied without oral is a bunch of men kinda telling on themselves how bad they are otherwise.

Man, my kids are annoying AF sometimes, but I appreciate those little slice of life moments where you're just doing nothing at all really and they just strike up conversations or talk about stuff that's on their mind. Like being given a million dollars and making good choices to spend it wisely. What boys have stewardship of is their potential. Men have to demonstrate usefulness. I can be the same way. Ultimately, you are who you are, so work with that. Speak with actions, not words. If you can't find the words to voice your opinion, do it with your actions. Stand up and leave the room if you disapprove with something. Pivot your life by pursuing a smaller group of friends you feel comfortable around, rather than a larger group of strangers. And stay close with your family. Keep in touch with these people and talk to them.

As a girldad, I kinda empathize with young women. Because everybody is trying to get something from you. Constantly, since puberty. The problem is that the girls are often young, hormonal idiots at the peak of their attractiveness, often with low self-esteem and bad decision-making abilities. Then you can talk about how happily single you are, men are trash, etc., and avoid that unpleasant come-to-jesus realization that quality guys just don't want to commit to you, thus confirming your insecurities.

I'll try to change your view here. As humans, we do assortative mating. If you can operate under the mere possibility that a woman can be pressured by society to see herself as far higher quality than what men see her, then there lies the problem. She thinks she's sorting to her perceived equal, but her perceived equal is not sorting to her. Her self perception is not congruent with her reality. Living within normal societal standards consistent with a serious, committed couple is not "expecting a completely different person". Dating someone who they are in that moment is fine, and you shouldn't try to change them, but once the nature of the relationship changes, it's reasonable to adjust the standards you hold each other to. 3 things I'm going to drive home to my daughter: First is, find men with a proven record of good decisions whose judgment you trust that have your best interests at heart and aren't interested in you sexually. Use them to help vet the men you date. Can be a parent, an uncle, an older cousin, a mentor, or an older friend. Find at least 3 women you want to be like and ask her how she did it, and what it cost her. This also works for contractors. Smart people follow a winning formula and incrementa…

Reasonable take. I agree with that. Having said that, I think there is a very strong undercurrent of paternalistic colonial racism that comes from most women in the U.S. about this topic.

Is the act of prostitution what's gross and pathetic? Age difference? Or the power imbalance? Or the race mixing? Would you say the same if it was a 28 year old single mom white woman receptionist from the rural Midwest making minimum wage? How about a sugar baby that agrees to stay with a guy in the long term?

I find it disturbing how privileged educated middle class+ women believe men shouldn't talk to a poorer woman at all. Because of the mere potential of financial abuse. Like "her broke ass should stay in the gutter with her people where she belongs, rather than ever enter a transactional relationship with a wealthier man she's not attracted to." Idk it just seems horribly tone deaf. Edit: and by tone deaf I mean it's probably good ol fashioned western colonizer racist attitudes.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/23 07:29 AM

1- nah 2- I'd be ok with it if she was down for an anal spitroast. If yes, I'd do it and then dump her the next day. If no, then we'd continue on.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 03:06 AM

Idk, the article literally points out a pay gap between a janitor and white collar workers.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 02:58 AM

You get what you negotiate, not what you "should."
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 02:57 AM

I agree on most of it besides the age (willing to accept up to ~30). Also, she can't have any fucked up family history or any history of abuse, assault, or trauma, regardless of whether it's her fault or not. Also no tats or piercings. Like she's gotta be turn-key, I'm not interested in a fixer-upper. If she fails any of this criteria, she's silently disqualified from marriage or any serious cohabitation.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 02:47 AM

Just read an article about how blue collar hourly workers are starting to reach pay parity with white collar salaried office workers because A.I. and tech is making their value plummet and automating them out of a job. Nothing fills me with as much joyful pettiness as seeing these soft, privileged college grads thinking they were such hot shit because they're "educated" and thought they were safe, suddenly realize they're even lower than a janitor or a plumber. https://qz.com/chatgpt-white-colla…

The fuck are you talking about? His wife was a cheerleader on the Lakers, and Kobe went to the NBA right after high school and made the all-star game as a rookie. Vanessa Bryant was also the literal definition of a "predatory woman". Their marriage was well known for being pretty fucked up.

The issue is that you've based it around a particular pop culture (or in this case, counterculture) activity, which is cool for a while but ultimately not sustainable because you have to keep doing that activity. People tend to age out of stuff like that as they get older. Sure, there are probably some old hangers-on, but what do you think happened to their peers? It's better to find a subculture that shares those similar values but doesn't revolve around one niche activity. Like get into spirit…

You said you didn't know of any intangibles she could bring that a man already doesn't. Now you know at least one. It's subjective, so if you're asking for intangibles that you would consider equal to what a man already provides, then idk, man, we can't read your mind.

For me, an example is socializing. My wife is basically the family's social secretary and acts as an intermediary between our family and society. Like, say, other families, our neighbors, and even my own friends and family. Sure, I could do all that stuff myself, but it's hard to split my brain in 5 different directions and end up doing a mediocre job at everything. It is better to divide and conquer with specialization according to our talents.

It's more interesting to me how people use this gendered shaming language to describe men's aversion to higher earning women. It's like goading a man into doing something reckless by calling him a chicken.

Absolutely. Most of these people are just trying to win online arguments and acquire fake internet points, not actually raise real kids.

"Elite life" I make a bit over 300k also, and there's something I notice about this top 1-2% income range, especially with tech dudes. The people tend to be one-trick ponies. Like they're good at the thing that makes them wealthy, but not much else in life. Often, these types tend to be awful parents because they dont understand theres more to being a parent than writing checks, and the kids grow up miserable in a gilded cage.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 06:54 PM

Idk I'm happily married and my advice leans red. I like debating relationship dynamics, and most places on reddit are either incel farms or bluepilled feminist/white knight bullshit. I think a lot of married/coupled up older women like to come on here to pontificate and play out their pathological need to be right over the course of 50 PPD posts a day.

It's popular to hate on anything that doesn't fit with the soulless capitalist imperative of mindless labor and consumption. Like I can respect religious fundies because at least they're mindless sheep to something that's not popular in 2023. Buck the trend, you know?

Those are good years for having kids, but bad years for raising them. Young moms are rarely good moms, and I say that a kid of a young mom. Just too immature and lacks confidence at that point in life. That's why teen pregnancy is usually associated with trailer trash and ignorant religious fundies. As an actual kid-haver, I'd say 25-32 is ideal.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 11:29 PM

Depends on the age. Under 25, you'd need 3-4 years. 25-28, at least 2 years. 29 and over, 1 year. Also if you're madly in love and attracted to a man, over age 27 and he just keeps stringing you along with vague bullshit for like 5+ years, he's probably out of your league but you're staying on the hook because he's the best you can do.

So if you're a child of a rich person and spent 22 years (childhood + college) as a rich kid but is now only making 40k a year, that person is middle class? Your definition sounds pretty inflexible.

So? It doesn't matter why you're middle class. You either are or you aren't. Prestige whores in this sub claim left and right that making a lot of money doesn't make you upper class, so is it based off of raw income and wealth, or is it based off your culture and circumstances of your birth and family?

2 points: 1, your choice pool should be small if you have any intention of being serious down the line. If you're just dating to have fun and have sex then whatever, date a literal crackhead felon, who cares. But cohabitation or marriage with the wrong person can ruin your life. My wife is that ride or die type of girl, and she is down for literally anything as long as we're doing it together. She has a pretty strong personality, but it's like she gets off on being led by a man she respects. The building phase is more exciting because you never know how it will turn out. You take more chances, try different things, etc. This usually happens by 30. Once you've built yourself, the steering phase is boring but ultimately more profitable.

The two guys who posted the real answer got heavily downvoted in the first link. When a man gets consistently friend zoned, he's dating out of his league. /r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 05:36 AM

Honestly, yes. I'd hit the reset button and start over with a new life. It'd be a huge life change like joining the military, volunteering for an NGO, becoming a merchant sailor, or teaching English abroad or something like that. Like if I'm starting over, I'm gonna do something amazing, not just go wait tables in another state living in a studio apartment or something mundane.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 05:24 AM

If it leads to a well paying career, sure. I simply figured out what lifestyle I wanted and worked backwards to what I needed to do to get there. Basically, I've been just coasting and sticking to the plan for the last 2 decades.

That's basically saying that usefulness and loyalty from a woman is more important in a relationship than his actual level of attraction to her. I'm not disagreeing, I'm just stating the moral of the story.

Not to say you can't have sorted yourself out in your early 20s but a lot of people need some time to grow and develop as people. We're ok with a 22 year old choosing to take on hundreds of thousands in school debt, picking the career path that will affect them for the rest of their life, joining the military, etc, but God help you if you get married before 25 because your brain isn't fully developed. Ok, so for American men, our biggest stand-out trait is our aggressiveness. Yeah, we're fat, but we're also bigger and stronger than people from most countries. We're also a lot more open and emotional, don't hold back, and won't put up with bullshit. And we have money, of course. American women are like that, too, but those traits support masculine gender roles, which gives women a harder time unless it's just purely about sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/23 08:34 AM

Because that would require effort. This is more of a drive-by smugging.

Take a genius high school kid. In his local midwestern suburban school, the athletes are popular, and he's probably invisible. In my city, that kid would be the most popular in his school because there's a pervasive tiger mom culture here. AWALT, but the environment greatly determines your outcomes in life.

People are just being immature kids. Friendships are fleeting and end or begin for insignificant reasons all the time. If I organically develop feelings for a girl I'm friends with, then the friendship is already over by that point, it either continues as unresolved attraction or a relationship.

You ever notice how these people get all the therapy in the world and still live fucked up miserable lives anyway? Like they make no progress but at least they have a fancy therapy-approved excuse for sucking at life. Most of this mental health shit is just broke ass zoomers going nowhere in life trying to cope with their mediocrity by claiming every type of victimhood under the sun. Just losers doing what they're best at: losing.

So? You don't need most women to be that, you just need 1. That's like saying the vast majority of women aren't black therefore don't bother trying to find one to date. That's how bad that argument sounds.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 10:52 PM

While that's true, your inability to tell the difference between that, and this, is part of the fundamental misunderstanding.

That is not at all how it goes down irl. Guys basically fuck around until mid-early 30s and by then practical needs start to take priority. You start entering more senior roles at your job which demand more of your time, and you get more serious about your life and less carefree, which often comes with a desire for marriage and kids. I'm not talking about reddit people, I mean your average balding dadbod American Joe 6-pack you see working as an accountant or plumber or whatever.

As a tangent, personality becomes far more important because society is far more atomized in 2023. Like back in the 80s or 90s you only had to spend maybe 20 waking hours a week with a spouse.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 06:51 PM

You're using academic definitions where they aren't appropriate. And the point isn't about what RP prescribes, the point is that the RP/BP dichotomy is tied to real world application.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 06:46 PM
2

You can't project an individual outcome based on aggregate data because there's too many individual confounding variables. This shows a fundamental misunderstanding of how to apply statistics.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 06:43 PM
1

Ok but you're debating academics in an experiential debate sub. RP is specifically tied to real world outcomes hence the Matrix metaphor.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 06:39 PM
1

So then you have no intention to actually apply the concept to the real world?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 06:04 PM

Honestly it's pretty easy to say all the right things and come off as a liberal man, and then throw all that shit out the window at 30 when you "find God" and tradcon mid 20s wifey comes along. Like just give liberal chicks validation and they'll give it up early and often if you're somewhat attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 05:51 PM

People also romanticize their current environment. There's probably a significant amount of people from 100 years ago that would never want to come up in today's dating market.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 05:46 PM

I mean, your chosen definition is nebulous and academic, but not really actionable in any way. Like ok once you recognize those connections, then what do you do? Feels like a "thoughts and prayers" type of attitude.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 05:41 PM

Using aggregate data to prescribe an individual outcome is lazy and misguided.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 05:37 PM

Ok, connections recognized. Now what?

A marginal benefit is basically how much does adding X income benefits him. Let's say a man marries a woman making 40k. That's an increase of 40k in combined salary, so yes, there's a benefit. Simple math. A man making 40k would see a huge marginal benefit because his salary doubles and quality of life would double. Now combined they can afford a nice house, take vacations, etc., where they couldn't before. A man making 150k who already owns his home and has the quality of life he wants (and the…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/23 02:57 PM

It's not basic math. The marginal benefit he gets from the additional income is not worth the diminishing returns of "reduced compatible partner" incidence that goes down as income requirements get stricter. There's a difference between mindlessly doing the math, and using math as a tool to make sound decisions.

Dude, no, it's just cultural. There are certain cultures where they are very direct and will tell you the truth to your face whether you asked for it or not. Then there are cultures, like 2020s America, where people, particularly women, are low key seen as fake, and engage in constant manufactured validation with each other. I think most men just value the integrity of their words more.

Back in 2000, if you were in a bubble, it was often localized to your city. If you lived in San Diego, you didn't know metalheads in LA. Now in 2023 everyone can see everyone. When the people got connected, so did the bubbles. So now transplants from other scenes can connect with their local scene and the ones all around them.

Depends on whether it's a change driven by external forces or internal forces. Changing your personality to pick up more women is being fake. Changing your environment to pick up women while staying the same person is being your natural self.

Appealing to them, I think, is still the wrong mindset. You're still not being true to yourself as a man. More like, build up who you are as a man, and then put yourself out there in the right environment that celebrates your values and qualities.

It's interesting when I see advice to men on how to get women... it's usually a whole laundry list of things to do in order to be more broadly appealing and exciting to women so that they'll want to date them. You take a genuinely good, above average looking, balanced dude who's happy being who he is, but isn't successful in dating, and the recommendation I see is always for him to jump through hoops to be this man with broad dating appeal. I’m guessing you have a partner that helps you take care of them or they’re away from you for long periods of time. Why on earth would I leave them behind if I'm going to travel on a whim? Another example is how you spend money. Maybe without kids you wouldn’t care much about spending on frivolo…

I've noticed that men use oral as a crutch for being "good" at sex. When all you have is a hammer, everything starts looking like a nail. Truth is, you have to develop the other aspects. The stroke game. The foreplay game. Being able to smoothy escalate and transition from kissing to touching, to penetration, and beyond. You're essentially the conductor and being able to use the right techniques to put on a show that's both satisfying to you and her is key. Also, optional: perfecting the pull ou…

Once you have kids your life stops being about you and is only about them. For at least the next 18 years. Not really. Maybe for the first couple years or so, but you eventually learn to make space for them and still be an adult once they hit school age. If you want to become a martyr, then that's your own personal choice. Idk maybe people should stop being neurotic helicopter parents if they want their lives back lol.

I think people just don't consider what their lives might be like in their 50s, especially if their own parents are older. You end up getting sandwiched by geriatric parents to deal with and young children to take care of at the same time. That fucking sucks more than you could ever know. I had young parents, my mom was 18 when she had me and my dad was about 22. Socially it was actually pretty cool because my mom was young enough to relate to me as a teenager. We even had an overlapping period …
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/23 03:45 PM

Your dating strategy depends on the outcome you desire. Do you want to end up married to an attractive woman, or do you want a variety of sexual experiences? Also, body count doesn't necessarily increase your value as a man, experience and confidence do. The two are just usually tied together, but not always.

What do men want? Women who aren’t attracted but indebted? Or women with options who are excited by their partners? What do women want? Commitment or excitement? It's a two-way street, because attractive male marriage prospects often locked themselves into commitments when they normally wouldn't today due to their social expectations and relative lack of choice.

But now I'm seeing a lot of "she's used to chaos due to past trauma (whether players or upbringing) and that's why she self sabotages". Here is the problem with value? What is high value? By your definition someone who contributes a lot to society. Let's say you had a baby. A baby contributes zero to society and is actually a drain on social resources. If your baby worthless then? You're referring to utility, not value. A baby is a net drain on society. But, that baby has an unknowable value to society in its potential to be something someday. We don't know the future, so we can't accurately judge his or her present value. So it…

I think for a lot of Western women who earn their own money and don’t have aspirations to be a SAHM, this kind of relationship is not ideal from our perspective as we would not find we are genuinely attracted to a man 20 years older and who we can’t really talk to and bond with. I think this kind of gets at the heart of the issue. It reminds me of that meme where a older guy says "I consent", a young hot girl says "I consent" and an unrelated angry feminist says "well, I don't consent!". Anyway …

I'll actually change your view on this. This argument has two parts to it: theory and execution. Theoretically, it makes more sense for him to go to a market where women who meet his standards are in abundance, and men who match his value are rare. The logic behind it is untouchable. Of course one would advocate it's the "only" option. Having said that, the execution is difficult and usually requires a lot of patience and savvy to pull it off. Dudes aren't trying to hook up with most younger women, just maybe a handful of them. That's the difference between a confident man's perspective and a neurotic woman's perspective. 20 years ago I would have looked at the state of American society and thought something dumb and naive like "be the change you want to see!" or some dumb shit. Eventually I realized the best you can do is to save yourself, be somewhat wealthy and sequester yourself away from the dirty proletariat, but even they manage to infect us with their bullshit. Now I understand that the only real solution is to put an entire fucking ocean between myself and these people.

Not structured girls with things like 5 date rules though. This is very nuanced and hard to explain tbh. Women who truly desire you will break their own rules for you. It's like the equivalent of applying and interviewing for a job you know you're going to get no matter what, and seeing all the other poor saps interviewing who don't understand that they never had a chance. Those poor saps live in the friendzone.

Desirable is desirable, doesn't need to matter why.

Higher status tends to enable shitty behavior without consequences. Having said that, there's plenty of broke trashy girls that are just as annoying and entitled, so no, I don't think it makes much of a difference.

The right to be choosy is entirely a function of choosiness relative to how in demand you are. Having an MD is completely irrelevant.

It's not your place to dictate suitability for another man's relationship partner.

That's a sunk cost fallacy. Why stay with an unsuitable woman and commit to even more flawed offspring. Better to just pay the price, wipe the slate clean and start over.

Have whatever preference you want, but don’t call people derogatory names and if you don’t want to be “shamed for your preferences” speak about them in a way that isn’t gross. Disagree. People should drop this fake polite bullshit and say what they actually think. If you don't want to be shamed, don't do shameful things. That goes for both slut shaming and preference shaming. Own your shit.

Find medium height girls with tall fathers and brothers. Tall girls are also pretty awkward, like they never figured out how to move gracefully in their own body. It's like dating a tomboy.

LOL, in like 99% of the kdramas I see, it's almost always a rich guy from a chaebol family and a poor girl who's hot. Like, it happens so often that it's a tired cliche. You clearly don't watch very many of them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
