That's usually the few things that RP gets right. Like a broken clock that tells the hour correctly twice a day. It's not RP, my sweet summer child. It's common knowledge for normal people. It's a thing that properly socialised people who are connected to reality already know. And we are baffled of why you present it like a breakthrough or a secret.

Many are. Or at least they have other issues. Some people here are broken beyond repair. I still debate in my head why tf i am here. In my mind i'm helping by sharing real life stories or knowledge. Real life that some seem like they have no contact with. Even if they go outside, their minds are disconnected from the real world. It's an awful place to be in. I'm a normie as normie as it gets. I am very against RP because i saw a friend of my husband's almost going on that slippery slope. We both…

That's why figuring out what people in general want is stupid and meaningless.

I think they are wrong. I also think they don't understand what "a good man" means.

Bad boy with a heart of gold = is very kind with people who are nice to him and mean if someone does him wrong Fat, but with muscles under the fat and has a belly. Built somewhat like a hyppo. Some guys are naturally muscular. Don't need gym to achieve that look.

Just had a discussion with someone else about what a good man is. A good man is "a man suited for me" or "a good match to me". So a good man to me is charming, funny and charismatic. See how i didn't mention anything about doing something for others? Yeah. Co i don't fuck a guy just because he beings meala to the homeless.

Ow, these sweet summer children. No wonder they are so off.

Wtf? Where did you get that idea from? Sure, some are, some aren't. But gentle giants are a thing and women see them as cute and fuzzy and hugable.

You made the mistake of thinking muscular guys are also aggresive

I have an issue with how much people rely on text messages. My parents rent apartments. They are old, not tech savvy, don't read texts on rent apps. They specifically write in the ad: no text messages. Call for more info. What do people do? They text. Anything to avoid a phone call

So...men act like trained dogs? Human says "sit", eog sits and then dog receives a snack? What happens if man improved and still no gf? What happens if the man is naturally gifted, needs no improvement and gets a gf without effort, just by being himself?

A good man for me: extrovert, charming, charismatic, humorous, a bad boy with a heart of gold, helps friends, has a job, makes his share of chores, has muscles covered in fat + belly, doesn't go to the gym, plays games, no chest hair, no baldness.

If you're the kind of gentle giant, she saw you as a teddy bear. Which is not a bad position to be in. Your comment actually struck me how wildly different men and women perceive a petdon sometimes. Coz if you look in the mirror you see muscle and maybe strong and dettering and look like you can fight a bear. But the vibes and how you present yourself makes her look at you like a cute toy, huggable, harmless and dare i say like a big child that needs nurturing. At least i experienced this and i …

Because men focus on finding a woman while women focus on finding a compatible man. Compatibility is what keeps the relationship going. It's a smart choice for those who seek LTR.

Then don't get married. Marriage isn't for anyone. One of the reasons i married is that if i die, my husband gets my properties so he doesn't end up homeless (we're not in US).
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 05:33 AM
11

I've seen this over and over again. All their married life the wife was the only one to cook. At old age, the wife dies. The husband resorts to cooking eggs and eating salami, which isn't a die fit for an elderly person. Then he neglects taking his medication or going to checkups because there's no wife to remind him. So he dies in a few years. Men like this need to stop acting like children and start taking care of themselves.

Very serious question, sir.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 05:15 AM

Well, i am not a native EN speaker and to me "putting someone in his/her place" implies using force. Some dude said he'd walk away. I don't see how this would make a "putting her in her place". I don't see your reaction as a "putting in her place" and frankly the way you said it is something i associate with educating a child. It is very confusing to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 05:15 AM

How would you say it?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 09:24 PM

And what makes this a "put her into place"?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 08:23 PM

And how will this be communicated or expressed. I'm asking what exactly would you do in any of those scenarios?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 07:11 PM

How do you suggest women should be put in their place?

Each time people ask wtf is this "accountability", the answers vary. Nobody knows what it is because it's not their idea. It's spoonfed into their brains and they just spit it out. Actually, it is vague on purpose so gurus can relate to more men since each man has his own interpretation. This way, gurus can extract more money. So, i don't give a shit about "accountability".
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 02:50 PM

I absolutely think couples should live together before marriage. But the marriage discussion should appear prior to moving in together.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 02:18 PM

Some people have f'ed up lives, but turning to drugs/alcohol is only going to deepen their problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 02:16 PM

But also it's bad if there is no marriage in sight. That's how women end up as forever girlfriends. Wife benefits at girlfriend prices...
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 01:54 PM

There's a scale of selfishness as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 12:45 PM

It's more like those people want a good life for their children. Bringing a child in uncertainty is selfish.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 12:29 PM

Financial unpredictibility plays a role. I might have money now and have a child now. But will i still have a good paying job in 3 years? In 5 years? 10 years?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 12:08 PM

I remember some post made by a lunatic about clothes and he insisted that women should never expose themselves at the beach or at the pool. Obviously, people pressed for examples of what would be acceptable for women to wear at the beach. And dude linked what was essentially tshirt and shorts lmao 😭😭😭 Men and women laughed at him, PR men didn't even try to take his side, it was that insane.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/24 12:52 PM

Idk wtf happened, i also think gen z is too stressed, too tense, too serious. My biggest shocks were 2 women and a man. Women 1: looked 35 tops. And i talk about flexibility, style, the way she spoke. She was 50, her son was older than me Women 2: looked 42 tops. Body, face, flexibility, just very fine wrinkles and no marionette lines. She was 63. And a guy who looked tense, wrinkly, forehead wrinkles, looked 33. He just turned 27.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 03:18 PM

I guess it's nor.al and expected for some people to look younger than their age and other to look older than their age. But what i think happens is that there used to be that only 10% of young people look older than their age (number pulled out of my ass) and now 30% of young people look older than their age (number also pulled out of my ass). Also, it doesn't affect just women, but also men. It also depends on your social circle. You can't know the age of people on the street.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 03:12 PM

You're a core millennial. Idk how widespread it is, but i guess there are enough cases to actually make some waves. I think this video explains it quite well: https://youtu.be/oKwVFd-p1GI?si=NujAmzfBfIv8ngXY
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 03:00 PM

Idk wtf happened with late gen z looking older than millenials. They say it's the clothes, the procedures and stress.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 02:36 PM

Um...no
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 02:29 PM

Neah, that's a taste of their own medicine.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 12:03 PM

I prefer pragmatism. That person has genetic issues and so do i. I don't find it mean. Adoption is always a possibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 12:00 PM

That "should have chosen better" is loaded with bitterness
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 11:58 AM

Not sensitive, but pragmatic. I also have a condition that would be passed to my children. So i choose not to have children and remove defective genes from the genepool.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 11:39 AM

They are mostly right. There are a number of things that i disagree with them, as expected. I don't think the men listen, honestly. At least i tell them that some are unsuccessful because of auyism or other conditions, yet they choose to continue to blame women.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 11:37 AM

A sensitive soul will see anything as mockery.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 11:32 AM

I see women being kind to men who tell stories about being cheated or the ex not letting them see their child. In similar situations, men lash with "should have chosen better". Some ladies here have very strong arguments. Men choose not to listen to those arguments because it doesn't sit right with their ideology.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 11:31 AM

I haven't seen women mock the men here. Although i see the men mocking the women. And without these women, it would be an echo chamber. The power is in the argument. The stronger your argument, the more power it has.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 11:18 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/24 12:41 PM
2

Nothing
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/24 11:41 AM

Different women value different things. And the way those things are perceived is highly subjective. This is why dating is confusing, it's not a one size fits all. I'm going to say i value loyalty. My gypsy neighbor will say money and status among peers as loyalty seems very optional to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/24 07:12 AM

Also, it's half marriages, not half people who marry. We sometimes hear about someone divorcing spouse #3. Statiatic will count 3 dovorces, but it's not 6 people involved, it's 4. And some of the spouses could be previously divorced themselves which in turn affects the number of people divorcing.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/24 06:55 AM

Ofc they do. How else do you think momogamy works?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 11:44 PM

So you praise single mothers, eh? They single handedly save our civilization.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 11:36 PM

Nobody is devaluing anything when they reject someone. Whoever thinks that needs a serious checkup for anger management, delusion and drawing the wrong conclusions. And since that person is delusional, even more people will avoid them because we tend to avoid delusional people. Not a plesent company.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 11:32 PM

??
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 11:24 PM

Nobody dates out of empathy. And i certainly wouldn't like a man to date me out of empathy.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 11:16 PM

No, i just don't like fit men or men who wear a tailored suit
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 11:01 PM

Funny, charming bad boys with a heart of gold, no gym goers, has a belly, doesn't wear a tailored suit or a watch.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 10:51 PM

I didnt scroll down, only saw one picture. She just needs a better style, but otherwise, she's fine. Indeed those guys are average, just not the average i would remotely consider.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 10:31 PM

Scrolled down, i see what you mean now, but it just takes a better style. Those matches depend on what she wants. If i put my preference into the mix, none of those would be even remotely into consideration.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 10:27 PM

D'oh, who tf wants to date someone they don't find attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 10:23 PM

It's a possibility that they are. I mean, look at you
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 10:21 PM

I am very confused by this. Whoever argues a gorgeous woman can't get dates is delulu. None of the matches looks good, imo. We know what shirtless pics are for and we roll our eyes if we are looking for a relationship. Such a weird "experiment", but please don't delete the post. I want to link it each time men complain that their matches ghost them. Maybe it was a man catfishing.

Yep, men don't really do it anymore and it's fine. Some cars are really complicated. Some guys don't like mechanical stuff, etc. But what rubs my gears is the claim that they fix it all while working overtime or insane hours like 80 hrs/week or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 09:12 AM

Our car is still in warranty. It would be stupid to even try to fix it since it would void the warranty.

Nope since he is very slow. Please stop making up excuses. I think i know my parents way better than you.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 09:00 AM

Ow i'm sure they overblowed how hard these fixings were. That until more women lived alone and had to fix them themselves. That's when they realised that it's not that big of a deal in many cases. Once you changed a pipe yourself, you can't accept "i fixed a pipe so you clean all the house and do laundry and cook" as an excuse.

She's a teacher. Same as my dad. They built it by themselves, only getting help with the foundation and pillars. There was no actual construction crew.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:54 AM

I find it very funny how they list mechanical work. Sweetheart, with the new cars it's usually software that breaks a car. The electronics fail more often than mechanical parts. Plus, the manufacturers overcomplicate things in cars. On some models you need to remove the gas pedal in order to change the air filter. Plus, those who live in apartments don't really have the space where they can disassemble a car. They act like they take the engine out on a daily basis. And that's when you know they …

/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:46 AM

Or changing a power socket or fixing a sink. Especially with the amount of tutorials we have on YT. I even troubleshooted the issue with our previous car and "forced" the mechanic to change the part i was very sure it was faulty, despite that he said it couldn't be from there. I was right, car was fixed. Funny how 4 mechanics didn't know what the problem was.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:43 AM

Yes, sweetheart. I do more than half of those things. Especially the heavy things that need to be carried since he had a surgery and is not allowed to lift heavy things. I work in IT, i can troubleshoot my own computer. The car is still in warranty and any fixing is done by the dealership where i call for schedule. I clean the yard when there is grass and we don't have a lawn.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:37 AM

As much as he puts me first. It's a funny thing in our relationship. I put him first sometimes totally neglecting myself in the process. But he also does the same. The amount of times we have to remind each other to slow down, take a break, relax is insane.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:32 AM

Doesn't change the fact that creepy women don't get approached. Maybe equally creepy men approach them, idk. But not normal guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/24 02:46 PM

Staring, crazy look in the eyes, approaching a stranger when there's almost nobody around or it's dark outside and prolonging the conversation past asking for directions/time, overall clothes coupled with attitude. This applies to both men and women.

It couldn't possibly be that i referred to a favourite RP talking point which is don't date single mothers because the child takes much of her time and she won't have time for you. Link this with OP who claims that children take just a little time.

It's "giving up some of your time" only when the discussion is about the women. If the discussion is about child support, it's astronomical figures and decades of the man's life. If they cared so much about children, there would be queues at single mothers' doorsteps. And none of them would complain about dingle mothers not having the time for the new partner. After all, it takes only a bit of time to care for a child. This is why i can't take RP men seriously. The discourse changes depending on…

Look at the answers. We have 3 major types of answers (mostly). Never be vulnerable. Anyone who's properly socialized knows that in a LTR, your partner is going to be supportive and an emotional prop when times are hard. Be vulnerable from the beginning. That's like it's date 2 and you start crying. There's a time and place for everything. The normal answers: see what type of person she is. How she behaves with others, what she says, what she tells you. Then slowly open up as she opens up as wel…

/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/24 11:45 AM

Who they want doesn't want them. Because of what i said previously. There aren't many women who want an autistic man child with a pokemon collection who plays Baldur's gate. And that is not an average man. Idk what radfems scream that they want, i don't follow that sort of content. But it's the same for them. Ya got streetlight hair, sheven eyebrows and unshaven armpits and legs, unmadicated bipolar and an alcohol addiction. Not many men want you. And you're not average either. Get a grip
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/24 11:22 AM

They're not compatible. It's a bad idea for them to form a relationship between them.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/24 11:00 AM

Up to a certain age, most people are paired up. What's left is a bunch of good dating options who may or may not be compatible sprinkled with bad dating options (addicts, losers, people with disabilities, outcasts). It's the same for women. Some are single because of obesity, mental illnesses, social outcasts. The equivalent of your average RP man is the average radfam woman. Guess what? They don't mix well.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/24 10:53 AM

Please stop trying to pass losers, men with disabilities (psychological included) and social outcasts as average men. It's unfair to the average man.

You mean to say that women can't accurately describe what causes them raw sexual arousal, so they use the most approximate concepts? Pretty much. Not only it's hard to put feelings into words, but you also need a scoop of creativity to try to describe them. Plus, idk if languages even have enough words to describe nuances. Not only this, but i don't think languages have enough words to describe all the nuances. It's also a matter of perspective. In this post, there's a lady who said she feels a "glow" at her G spot when she's aroused. I'd rather describe it as feeling the need to fill up a hole. (As you can see, i am not very creative). I'm pretty sure we describe the same feeling.

/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/24 12:06 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/24 11:47 AM

Accentance is liberation. If a relationship is still achieved, it's fine. If not, it's fine as well. most men, autistic or not, are raised, trained, and conditioned to believe that women are their moral superiors Debatable, but i'm going to assume this is true. /r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 02:35 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 02:25 PM

It's nuance, not semantics. Again i met my now husband in high school. We both graduated high school, passed a difficult exam, went to college, graduated. After that i entered the second college, worked throughout the 2nd year, planned the wedding in the 3rd year. We both dated to marry hence we are now husband and wife. Also, we met daily. And we are not the only couple in this situation in our circle of friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 02:24 PM

I worked (commuted) while in college. Didn't prevent me to see my then bf (now husband) daily. And i mean daily.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 02:20 PM

I mostly agree with the OP. A late bloomer is not my cup of tea. And it's never a bad thing to own your mistakes. Else, you don't learn anything from them. Ya think it's better to blame women, society, the dog, the birds, a political party, chem trails or the moon for the fact that you lack romantic skills?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 02:18 PM

My point exactly. It's not healthy to delude yourself. You start believing that crap.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 02:15 PM

You hold hands in the park at 15 and share a bottle of coke. You don't need academics and a stable financial situation for foolish teenage romances. Hormones override values more often than not. If he believes in dating only for marriage, he's not my type. But, again, it's not a case of "i focused on studies". It's a case of "my religion/values prevent me from dating if it's not for marriage". I have an issue just with the lame excuse "i didn't have time, i focused on studies".
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 02:14 PM

Is it now? How often do you think it happens? Parents died and you take care of your younger siblings - how often?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 02:09 PM

More often than not, it's just an excuse. There really aren't many male teenagers raging with hormones due to age who aren't interested in dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 02:07 PM

No need to save face over the internet. Be honest. "I couldn't figure out, i had really bad teeth before braces, i had a huge nose before rhynoplasty, i had social anxiety". It's fine. You know what was going on and you're not deluding yourself with "i focused on studies" but actually really wanted to date. Else, you start believing this crap and delude yourself even more + risk sounding dumb.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 02:04 PM

Then say "i didn't feel like it". My issue is with using "i focused on my studies" as an excuse. As if studies prevented you to date, but you wanted to date deep in your heart.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 01:57 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 01:10 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 12:10 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 11:46 AM

They also graduated high school, college, master's degree, one of the girls was a valedictorian, also enrolled in Erasmus with job prospects to work for the embassy in another country. I don't think they are aware that the screamers and those women aren't in the same social circle. Sometimes not even in the same country or time zone. The likelihood of them meeting and her to ask for empathy are close to 0.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 07:03 PM

That's not luck or rare. It's literally what i see around me as well. They meet, they fall in love, they build a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 04:48 PM

Yet, those are the motivators that snowball most relationships. You want to make things work because you love your partner.

The problem is the attitude towards the problem. Rant with humor, not jaded. Don't put everyone in the same basket. There are bad apples, golden apples and everything in between. Understand that you might have a problem: a face only a mother can love (Charles of Habsbourg type), or mental illness or physical deformities. That's tough to be in that position, ngl. It's a big chance you might not find anyone. Then, talk to friends. My husband has 2 friends who struggle to find someone. They talk op…

Guys are not a hivemind. And PPD is not representative for all things in life.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 02:35 PM

Good addition: eyes and microexpressions. That's how we got the resting bitch face. Too bad, some people call this "mindreading" instead of what it is: "reading the room". I've met a few as well. Most memorable is an ex coworker. She was very creepy. Tiny, skinny girl, just skin and bones, but would freak out everyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 02:32 PM

It's mostly in the eyes for me. Even when someone links a picture, it's always the eyes. Some people see it, some don't, some see it only sometimes. This is also part of the reason why some guys don't have any luck. A disturbed mind is seen through the eyes. It's how you see "personality" in pictures.

You have men who never even held a woman's hand. Their sexual experience is none or close to none. They want someone with a similar experience as them and to live their adolescence through their partner. Also, Ephebophilia. Also, there are more chances a teenage girl is more naive and easier to groom. Or has less money and can be bought.

Because data is often times misinterpreted, some studies are biased and frankly, statistics can't always paint the reality accurately. Reality is multi dimensional, a study is unidimensional. I think this is what many women here mean when it's talked about money. Minimum wage in college or immediately after when you grab any job that lets you gather experience in your domain? It's fine. But still being stuck in that position 10 years later...it looks bad. I think it's similar to hotels when you go on vacation. In your youth, you'd sleep anywhere, even share a bathroom with 10 other people. With time, you want a better accommodation. Not a 5* hotel, but maybe 2-3*.

It depends on age. Let me give you my example: In high school i dated the whole range: guys who come from mkney. A lot of money. And guys who's family was dirt poor. At that age it didn't matter. My now husband, then bf had a similar situation as me. Then 2008 hit and his family lost everything. We were in college by then and the financial situation still didn't matter. So a few women out of a huge line. It's great to hear that just a small % of women do this. It would be a huge problem if this was happening often and was done by many. As you described, it just means that there are only a few outliners. Second point i'd like to make is that perhaps you never went to a highschool where the default smoking place for students is the girl's restroom.

If I went out with another man in a romantic setup, would you consider it ok because although married, we never had the monogamous discussion and suddenly I feel polyamorous? Coz sure as hell that would be considered cheating.

Didn't work when i said what I want (and perhaps other women want the same thing, not all of course). I was accused of wanting a dance monkey or comedian. What i think you neglect to take into consideration is the rage of a man who doesn't have any or part of the qualities i list.

Not russian, but close enough. Because everyone fixed their own shit in the previous generations so skills were passed to the children. Usually the father fixed things, but almost always kept a child around to keep the light, bring this and that. Invitably, kids learn how to fix things. Idk how the trend is in Russia, but my guess is that usually the male child was summoned to help fix things. Just how the female child was summoned to help cook. The best thing is that i see the trend of fathers …

Birth is a wonderful, unique thing for everyone (as in each person's birth is unique, you don't get to be rebirthed). Also, it's a bloody mess that most people find repulsive and gross.

I had a look at r/AsOneAfterInfidelity It's a sub for couples where one of them cheated, but they are trying to reconcile. They are the most invested to find out the "why" and did the most work to find the "why". In mine it was pretty much the other way around. Most of the guys could simply go, flirt, use charm and voilà. Still, you gave me some food for thought. It could be that most older folks (30+) had these skills better developed vs. the younger crowd (20-30). Perhaps the truth lies somewhere between us, depend…

Ofc, because i'm not making a 6 page essay. Long story short: girl had eyes for this friend. Husband sent friend to talk to her, told her what to say. Husband knew the girl and knew how she would like to be approached. Friend ignored advice and did nothing. Friend single

Strong character men do go for strong character women or who have the potential to develop a strong character. It's weak men who go for weak women. Like, have you ever seen a power couple irl?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 02:21 PM

I gave an example of someone who didn't let someone else help them and that obviously didn't work out. I'm transmitting knowledge that sometines it's ok to let someone help you, especially the ones who care about you.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 02:19 PM

Damned if you help, damned if you don't.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 02:09 PM

Yes, many. And what do they have in common? Most of them struggle romantically despite being tall, rather handsome, having money, house, job, car, nice and friendly. Simply put, they seem to have everything going for them, except romance. And if you can't put 2 and 2 together about what's wrong with that person, it's the skill of talking to a woman. And this includes charisma and humor.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 02:05 PM

First of all, i didn't talk about physical power, so half your comment is off topic. It's about mental power and the potential of having mental power. That's where confidence and self esteem has its roots.

What does this have to do with my comment?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 01:58 PM

What i find is that weak men want a weak woman. Strong men look for strong women or potentially strong women. And then they will do some mental work with her so she won't be a doormat.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 12:46 PM

Idk what other women think, but i know it's not that. I know a guy, he can sweet talk a business deal like no other. But when it comes to women...flat line. What i have a problem with is men dismissing charisma like it's not a big deal. Nu-uh, it is a great deal. Sometimes a deal breaker.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 12:44 PM

Sir, prostitutes approaching potential customers don't count.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 11:45 AM

Word! Some are even so delusional that they think there's a special formula or incantation or master key to unlock access to a good woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 11:33 AM

I'm not framing it as just talking to people. Lots of men can talk to people but sort of block out when it comes to talking to a romantic interest. Talent also has to be cultivated. Like ooera singers don't magically hit perfect notes.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 11:02 AM

It's a different skill. You don't flirt with family members.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 10:52 AM

It's also why i think they will divorce down the line. Sex is the only thing that meeps them in that relationship. Otherwise, they don't have much in common.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 10:32 AM

Thank god not all women are like that. I don't like spoiled brats. Also, you kind of rat out that guys only want really hot women. I thought the consensus was that they are looking for average women.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 10:01 AM

I genuinely believe lifting is way down the line and charisma is way up.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 09:58 AM

Exactly!
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 09:53 AM

I don't think we can reach common ground as our ideas are very opposing. Still, mind that it's very likely that we live in different socities.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 09:43 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 09:42 AM

I'd say it's charisma
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 09:36 AM

I find him highly charismatic because he is highly charismatic. Taught charisma to his chaddy friend as well. Be yourself is not a bad advice also. If you try to be someone else, you come out as fake.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 09:35 AM

Is it this or is it that is what pushes our buttons? Note that the same lines don't work for all men. If it doesn't feel natural, it comes out very fake. Hence the clown and weirdo comments.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 09:32 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 09:16 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 09:07 AM

I agree with this, but... My highly charismatic husband has a very uncharismatic friend. They've been friends since high school. Now, my husband tried to knock some sense into him. Tell him to go to a girl, say this, do that. Those were girls from school that they both knew so my husband knew how to push their buttons. It wasn't a blind shot. His friend did nothing. "Neah, i won't go talk to her." He would even pretend not to like her even though it was obvious he had the hots for her. how do yo…

I will not argue with health benefits. But those gymbros don't ingest various powders for health benefits do they. Tennis and swimming has health benefits and yet, the hym is "just lift, bro".
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 08:50 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 08:45 AM

I'm trying to reach the younger audience. Maybe there is still time for them to do something.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 08:45 AM

Having a shape, yes, if you are overly obese. Past a point, being fit has diminishing returns. If you lifted like crazy and after 3 years you still get no dates, it is possible that fitness was not the issue to begin with. But you wasted 3 years focusing only on lifting and not working on your charm.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 08:43 AM

but why dont those men also improve in social skills? because it takes balls And shall i add, more work that doesn't have cheatcodes.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 08:29 AM

There's a point where appearance can't save you and make all the pull without some charm. No, you're not going to be like those natural charming people. But half charming is sometimes enough to vibe with someone
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 08:27 AM

I think it is to a degree. You're not going to reach god tier, that is pretty much born with high charisma, but practice makes perfect, observing charismatic people helps, but that needs to be adapted to your personality else it comes out as fake.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 08:24 AM

Shallow or not, i'm not in the market for a neurodivergent guy. It raises an eyebrow because average people start having relationships and sex during highschool. At 22 for example, most even graduate college. If you hear about a child not walking by the age of 3, would you think it's something wrong with that child? If a child is not talking by the age of 6, would you think it's something wrong with that child? So it appears there is in fact a timeline of development, of life stages and experien…

I'd argue that past a certain point, being fit is affected by diminishing returns and charisma will weigh a lot more. But then i prefer a man with some belly but very charismatic.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 08:09 AM

Wish i knew. I'm trying to explain and provide examples and give elaborate explanations to men who ask in good faith. Maybe, maybe, something reaches the destination. Sometimes there's a dead end for them that is very difficult to overcome. And there are multiple factors. What i think weighs the most is that after a certain age, whoever is partnered is out of the pool. And the men and women that are left are simply not compatible with each other. Those women are not what these men want (justifia…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 08:06 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 07:53 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 07:51 AM

I find it sad that sooo many men downplay charisma and humor. If they would work on that instead of JuSt LiFt BrO, they would be much better off.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 07:51 AM

I'm an atheist so anything religious doesn't appeal to me. I guess there could be a bunch of women, a small % who want that, but i'm yet to see it in my circle.of friends. However, you made a generalising post about a small % of women. You still didn't answer my questions.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 06:59 AM

I'll say it depends on the age. At some point it starts to raise an eyebrow (around 20-22), then both eyebrows (25-27), i think it becomes weird past 30. I apply the same standard for women. The reasons why a man is still a virgin don't quite interest me. There's a good chance i'll find them as turnoffs and wouldn't date that guy anyway, without even knowing he's a virgin.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 06:57 AM
1

Ow, we understand men. Feed them, sex them, listen to them when they have something on their heart, let them know how much they mean to you, spend time with them, hug them, cuddle them. The tiny little problem is we're not doing all that for any man, just for the one who gives us "tingles". So you either turn on a woman's engine or you continue beating the meat.

It was just a question for men to post images of women without makeup. Some men posted images with obvious makeup. Women commented that there is makeup in those images. Some men responded correctly and posted images without makeup. You made a comment that women don't reply to the comment that mostly included images without makeup. /r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 01:28 PM

You can always correct someone when they are in the wrong. Those men could still believe they look at a no makeup picture. Also, what can we discuss about when OP just asked for no makeup pictures and the men actually followed a request and didn't mistake red lipstick for matural lips.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 01:18 PM
9

It's actually about not responding to the question. OP specifically asked for pictures without makeup. Posting pictures with makeup, but trying to pass them as "no makeup" is not what was requested.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 01:09 PM
10

Sir, there's makeup in the "no makeup" photos.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 12:56 PM

This doesn't make any sense. There are women who don't use makeup, who use drugstire makeup, who use high end makeup. Same for cosmetics or hair products. First of all, i am a big advocate of sharing the bill. Second, how can a man know if the woman uses products and how much they cost. Third, she would use a small fraction of each product as you don't slather on an entire tube of mascara in one go. Also, a woman usually can use products, but can decide not to use any at the date. Had a neighbor, her husband insisted she stays at home and won't let her apply for a job. He was violent, alcoholic and would deny her to buy anything for herself including necessities like tampons. Imagine begging your husband to give you money to buy tampons and for him to say no. I was 7-8 years old when i heard the story. First of all, I wouldn't go to a club with just my husband. We would go as a group and this includes some of his friends, including my cousin. A woman doesn't have a fighting chance, not even against a healthy teen male. He was a stranger until we met...at an adult's house, an adult that my parents trust, an adult that already vetted him and knew his family and plus there were other people around. Can you tell the difference between "already vetted guy and other people around including an adult" vs. "strange man in the woods and nobody else around"? Coz if you can't tell the difference, there's no point in continuing this discussion.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 01:52 PM

It's about the place and context where we met. An adult who my parents trust already vetted him before and there were other people around. See how that compares to "strange man in the woods and nobody else around"?

We both say we got lucky to meet so soon. The thing is, i said that's just my personal opinion on what i like. I think it's a good thing if men here see various views women have. You'd imagine not all women want what i want and will not agree with my preference. It has worked out for some of our friends. Different dynamic ofc, one that suited their personalities and wishes. It's funny how we had 2 colleagues at work. Separately, they were both unsufferable. After some years, they got together an…

Why is it self-interrested? Why is it wrong to want to be happy with a person you want to make happy who wants the same things as you want? And it's not a system i propose. It's what i wanted, what i got and what worked for me. It's what he wanted, what he got and worked for him. He's a bad boy who wanted a lady. I'm all into Lady and Tramp dynamic.

You gave me some food of thought. You see, when we went on our first date, he had no tshirt on, but a hoodie with a partially unzipped zipper. Now, that plushy skin of his, plus the cleaverage got me very much interested and attracted, ngl. Yet, when we actually met, he simply closed the control access that i dialed to ask me to wait for him to finish his cigarette as he figured we were going to the same apartment. Now that's a line that was crossed, sounds rude, but he played it so cool, it was…

(Personal, subjective opinion) Easy: the prospect of being alone doesn't sound that bad. When i wait for him to initiate i vet for charm, charisma, humor, extroversion. How else am i gonna see if he (mods and many others are gonna love me for this /s) has the balls to ask me out. Shyness is very unattractive. Same with fidgeting, being too soft, too sensitive, too sheltered. I like it a little rough, not too much, but maybe just enough. I like the build up, slowly at first and then faster and fa…

What you fail to understand is that when it comes to initial approach, a woman usually cracks the door open and invites you to a tango. Now you can enter the door or stay outside. If you enter the door, you begin a dance of reprocitation. If you step on her toes, you're out of sync, she'll invite you out the door. I won't address the "what i bring to the table" inquiry. There's a balance in our relationship that took us years to achieve. We're quite a team actually. But to address your burning c…

In my case it's a preference. If he can't approach (especially if the woman shows that the door is at least cracked open), it's not the man i want. I read it as: not confident enough, not enough socialised, potentially introverted, doesn't know what to say, how to say it, how to flirt, how to read signs, too shy and misses opportunities when they show up. All these make him a bad match for me. How is he going to keep the flame going during the relationship, i like to be charmed and flirted with …

That's where compatibility and how you communicate comes into play. Casually describing the drama is fine i guess. Maybe even have a good laugh about it. Making it a big thing if the implications are not severe is whining.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 11:05 PM

That trauma dump is not a definitive line for every woman. I think women have a hard time being with a man they perceive mentally weaker than them. And some women had a rough life, but somehow managed to stay on their feet (more or less) and find some stability (more or less). When a man who cries because his sandwich was stolen in 6ty grade and 3 colleagues made fun of his bowl haircut, it's hard for her not to laugh and see him as weak when she grew up with alcoholic parents, but that strength…

I've observed both sides as a standbyer. Most people find someone eventually. For some it takes longer, others hit it off pretty quickly. But the reality is, some will end up unpartnered. There will always be (more or less justifiable) grievances from both parties. It's always been that way. So PR will perhaps morph in something different as soon as most followers will realise it's deceiving. Radfems will continue perhaps. I feel like they've been pretty constant.

/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 10:28 AM

Yes, it's an issue for those individual men. If the 2% of children are unknowingly raised by other men than their fathers, that's a very small % to be able to call it a society problem.

That is not the definition of wit. wit noun the capacity for inventive thought and quick understanding; keen intelligence. a natural aptitude for using words and ideas in a quick and inventive way to create humour. This message comes from a friendly point, a person who has some life experience and can recognize a valuable piece of advice. Take care!

Body language is crazy important to me. The mimic, the posture, flirty gestures and looks. Clothes are also important, for example i don't like men in a suit. Get a hoodie, some snickers and a cool tshirt.

Yes sweetheart, even married women have abortions. Ya think abortions are only done by unwed women. LMAO
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 02:09 PM

Yeah, you won't find a definition because they just repeat what the podcast says, but the podcasters don't explain it. So men repeating this like a parrot have various definitions based on their misfortunes. It's just a word salad full of biases, delusion and rage.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 01:59 PM
13

Don't bother listening to that crap. Also, you won't find honest answers here. RP guys here will pretend those RP influencers are grifters while quoting them in other comments. If you call them out to correct other RP men who listen to grifters that those ideas are not RP, they chicken out while also talking about women's accountability (whatever that means coz no man has explained it coherently here). They will invoke not being able to control what other people say, but expect feminists to cont…

Bingo!
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 07:11 AM

Personally, it wouldn't impact me at all. You would see protests, men having vasectomies, women having tubes tied and less marriages. Women would start getting illegal abortions, some of them would die.

Society always puts pressure, but it's less and less taken into account. When did we move the goalpost to leaders?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 01:07 AM

So what is this elusive accountability? Let's hear the third definition.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 01:05 AM
1

Society has less and less pressure. Love dictates more. And by default, love wants monogamy.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 12:48 AM

They replied with different definitions, basically proving my point that they don't know what it is, they just repeat it like parrots.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 12:47 AM
2

It still is the default. And it' not because the desire of a stable society. Nobody thinks "i'll enter this relationship for society's benefit". It's because when you love someone, you're not willing to share that person.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 12:20 AM

Monogamy is still the default.

/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 12:08 AM

Ow i understand this. My husband's friends treat me like a cool dude with long hair and they talk freely around me. But the reverse is also true. Endless seething about women will not change women.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 11:52 PM

Stonewalling and refusing to acknowledge what i said. Men 😒
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 11:18 PM

You are stonewalling on purpose. I said no rp man knows what "accountability" refers to because they just hear it in podcasts and repeat it like a parrot. You said your definition. Someone said a different definition. If you 2 actually knew what it is, you would give the same answer. Herd mentality, parrotting something out of a video.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 11:11 PM

But why are your answers so different? It just proves you don't know what it means, but repeat it like sheeple. Herd mentality
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 10:33 PM

And they talk about the herd mentality of women. Pfahaha

I stepped in when someone was trying to steal from a young girl's pocket. I got death threats by the pickpocketer. There were over 50 people in the bus station. Only one woman defended me from the death threats.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 04:59 PM

Nobody answered this because the podcasts don't explain it, just mention it. So guys can't explain it because it hasn't been explained to them. It's some vague word salad, highly interpretable.

/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 09:00 PM

Imo both mysoginists and misandrists are on the same level of evil. Different sides of the same coin
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 04:33 PM

Depends. Useless for something specific that they are supposed to do (as in their job) yes, i even told them to their face. They no longer work there, i wonder why. My father considers his father useless as a father figure. Rightfully so, actually. But my grandoa was very much needed at hus job.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 04:07 PM

Calling any gender (as a whole) useless is wrong on way too many levels. Calling individuals useless (like my father calls his father for objective reasons) is a case by case situation and sometimes it's well deserved.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 03:51 PM

And is this the conclusion you reached?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 03:49 PM

I agree and i blame radfems for this.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 03:48 PM

I agree that at least i don't need a man (want is a whole different story), but i don't agree that men are useless.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 03:45 PM

Have you read beyond the title?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 03:39 PM

I do have a problem with radfems because they bring nothing but shame to the idea of feminism. Somehow they took over the word feminism, made a joke out of it and now real feminism suffers.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 03:28 PM

Post the video if you can find it. I've seen a lot taken out of context on this sub.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 03:25 PM

The article doesn't support the claim you made.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 03:23 PM

Why people in a bubble forum about a mental illness doesn't think straight? You see the same thing on the short men sub. Body dismorphya is a thing. Also, it grinds my gears when people start a post with "i saw a post/video/whatever" and then don't link it.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 10:59 AM

I mean sure, you can make all sorts of assumptions, that's on you. But having a preference is not a discrimination. People of any race are not discriminated against when it comes to relationships. Same for fat, short, bald, ugly, poor, you name it.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 09:27 AM

Relationships are inherently discriminatory. Jobs are based on skills and knowledge and race has neither. Perhaps acting is one exception due to staying true to the original story (either a book or a video game or real life events).
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 09:08 AM

Racial preferences are not racism. What a word salad you made there...

You know how the internet feeds what you like. That says a lot about you. "Clean girl" has been viral for years. The trend for the past years has been clean girl makeup and skincare as makeup. But i guess the podcasts aren't up to date with trends so they repeat the same old story.

II expected more maturity from a 40 year old. Leaving someone at the door is rude. You can refuse someone in a more elegant manner imo. At least i do relate. And asked specifically about their entire history, i bet most women here had an unpleasant sexual encounter in their life.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 02:53 PM

There's a 40% gap between male and female orgasms but somehow no woman on PPD has ever had this problem I had this problem with ex bfs. Part of the reason why they are ex bfs. If you would ask me, i would say i am very pleased with my sex life with my husband. That doesn't mean i am pleased with my entire sex life. This is why you get these answers. It can totally be true that women here are sexually pleased...by their current partners, but not by all their partners (past + present).

I think they are venting, but some do have psychological issues. I can only speak for myself. I am being honest on the internet, this even got me in trouble a few times. I think that what you have here is some very different groups of people. Multiple reasons. Sometimes dancing is flirting, closeness. It's fun and we love having fun. It's sociable, a lil extrovert, catches an eye. In a club, a woman might not even see (literally see as in vision) a man standing in a corner or at a crowded bar. But on a dance floor, she will notice you.

What does the title have to do with the body of the post? I'll answer the title: i find it hard to have respect for a man who's weaker (physically, emotionally or mentally) than me. If i can give a helping hand on a construction site and lift heavy stuff, i expect a healthy man to keep up. If i can cope with day to day crap, stress, job (i work in STEM), etc, i expect a man to keep up. If i can deal emotionally with deaths and illnesses of loved ones, i expect a man to keep up.

Depends on what you want to attract. In my case, i never bothered (and look down upon) with people who are flashy, especially men who pose with cars or really fancy places. The same goes for flashy brands, logos, gadgets. I have money, yet i value modesty and a flashy man is a huge turn off. Actually being flashy is a dealbreaker i never bent. No exceptions. /r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 04:47 PM

Source?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 04:45 PM

Because it's a debate sub and outrageous takes need to be backed up by serious sources, else it's just delusion. You being in a group of people who do this has nothing to do with the general population. As an analogy, an adventist person might think most people are adventists because in their circle all people are adventists. In reality, they are a minority. Hence, the delusion and requirement of a source.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 04:45 PM

That's bad, honestly. I hope you grew out of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 04:36 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 03:36 PM

Diversity is great. People having diverse preferences is precisely the reason so many people partner up in this world.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 03:20 PM

Yes, a small minority of women have casual sex. Talking as if most women engage in casual sex is delusional.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 03:09 PM

That's diversity, not anarchy.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 03:07 PM

Yes, sweetheart, there is no magic formula to find your soulmate. Each woman has her own likes and dislikes. I like men with a belly. I have a friend who likes guys who are ripped. And another friend likes guys who are just skin and bones. I like bad boys, another friend loves sensitive, introverted guys. There ks no anarchy because you can't tell your heart who to love. You either fall for that person or you don't. And who you fall for is often times surprising.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 03:03 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 02:29 PM

I find it crazy that some men here think most women fuck left and right and have situationships and fwb and ons all the time. The women who do this are a minority. Idk why they obsess over a minority.

I think the most sane answer came from women. If this promotion includes shares of that company i would understand having a postnup just for the shares as i would understand the company's concern about who might own a considerable amount of shares in the company. But, if the postnup includes anything besides the shares, i'm out. This cannot be compatible with our relationship as it's been from the beginning.

Are the suits as complex/shiny/sparkly as a dress + jewelery? You need to create a balance. A man in a formal suit looks bad if he wears sneakers instead of formal shoes. Everything needs to be from the same story. Same with a woman with long formal dress, makeup, heels, jewelery and a birds nest of a hair.

The first comment about the zodiac was funny. The next one was weird. The fact that she expected a stranger to know that her habit of playing with her bracelet was her signaling she wants the conversation to end tells me she is really really young and doesn't know how to behave. Not an excuse, but a motive. I also take into consideration that the story is fake. What i don't agree with is the expectation to be hit on when going to a bar. I don't usually wear makeup. On the rare occasions when i do, it's either because i feel like doing my makeup in that particular day or for a special event. As for special events, this is a whole different story. You have a special occasion dress (which tends to be more shiny, sparkly, complex than a regular sun dress), you have heels, you have hair done. This requires makeup in order to look put together. Makeup is part of the look and the look is not complete without it.

This is precisely my case. I have a house + yard since before marriage. We are now building a new house and will demolish the old one. The new house is being built during marriage so my husband should own half of the house, but not the land. Since his contribution is about 40k and mine and my parents is about 80k, if shit happens (it won't), i'll give him a condo valued at over 47k which will undoubtedly cover all the money he put into the new house.

I think it depends a lot on the country's laws. In my country, whatever assets you have before marriage, those are considered personal assets and are not shared in a divorce. Whatever asserts you inherit or are donated to you during marriage, those are also personal assets and are not shared in a divorce. The default is combined assets during marriage (whatever you buy while being married), but this can be changed when you officiate the marriage or any time during matriage. The other option is i…

Equating assault with harassment minimizes the assault victim experience. Neglicting to address harassment minimizes the harassment victim's experience and can potentially lead the perpetrator to escalate to assault because the harassment went unpunished.

Religious nutheads don't divorce here. They just stay in an unhappy marriage no matter what. So there's no leaving spouse, child support or alimoney.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/24 09:38 AM

That's a religious wife, not a traditional in my opinion. And to me, that's worse. She's a doormat not only in front of her husband, but also in front of the community and religion. Note that we most likely come from different countries and cultures. In my country, what i described in my original comment is considered traditional. What you described is a religious nuthead. Both are looked down upon by large massed.

Traditional woman: has a full time white collar job, only she cleans the house, cooks, does laundry, ironing, dishes, all chores, helps with repairs, taking care of the children, is either beaten by the husband or cheated on. Modern woman: has a full time white collar job, shares chores, cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, raising children with her husband. Will not accept being beaten or cheated on. Basically: a traditional wife is a doormat. A modern woman is an equal.

I told you my reason. At 34, no relationship kind of screams red flags. What did he do as a teenager? Why no relationship then? He missed too much. He can get FOMO. A man i see myself with (hypothetically, as i am married) is funny, extroverted, charming, drinks, smokes and parties. Such a man wouldn't have been single all his life. I'm not eager to have children, but i am eager to travel and enjoy my life with a man who also wants to travel and enjoy life. I wouldn't be compatible with the guy …

I don't see these relationships as practice. Since OP does not provide any insight, i'll be subjective. I'm 34, he's 34. He had 3 relationships until this age. Not bad. He doesn't waste any time dragging a dead relationship. Cool. The relationships ended on good terms, no violence, no hard feelings. Great. The one with 0 relationships did what? Sat on his ass. Got stuck in this i don't drink, i don't smoke. Too shy, too boring, too vanilla for my type. Maybe he had a few flings, but never lived …
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 04:41 PM
3

As per OP's explanation: those 3 previous relationships ended because they fell out of love, grew apart etc. That means he knows how to discuss feelings, be mature about it, be honest, doesn't drag a relationship just because it's comfy etc. This screams integrity and green flags. No relationship means to me: shy, introverted, waaay too picky, not fun, doesn't go out, no charm, no humor. A relationship with him will not last. All red flags.

Love the way you spin it. I compared a straight up asshole who doesn't hide his assholeness and he doesn't try to manipulate other people's perception, with a NG™ who tries to use manipulation in order for other people to not see his assholeness. In this case, the NG™ is more manipulative.

Good thing humans are not cars. Good thing humans aren't objects. Funny how men who complain they're below average or a 4 or a 2 or a whatever also enable a ranking system, then complain about it. Divorce is not something that is done in the impulse of the moment. It's something that was considered, weighted, analysed. There are some remote cases when there's remorse? Sure, i guess. But it's not the norm.

No, people shouldn't suck it up. People shouldn't be unhappy. Instead, people should make time and work on their relationship, closeness, intimacy (physical and emotional). People should be kind, understanding, supportive. This is keeps the love over decades. What we should also do is get rid of the stigma of being divorced. This is partially what kept so many unhappy marriages going. Staying for the kids is always a mistake.

Some friends also met in highschool, both graduated, both went to faculries, she was away in the second year in a different country in ERASMUS program, they also found time for their relationships. I also think the numbers would rise if women wouldn't take precautionary measures. How many times didn't we avoid a certain area? Call a friend or someone in the family to pick us up instead of a taxi. Postponed going to the store at night and waited for next day's daylight. Put good locks and chains at the door. Pepper spray. Share location and call multiple times if it's a longer trip. Telling family when we arrived and our plans forward. Sometimes they point out to dangers we didn't know abou…

Imagine how it is for a woman half your size. And it's normal to care about your safety and the safety of your loved ones. According to some guy here, you and your parents are morons for taking precautionary measures.

It's normal. He wants to know who is taking me to my destination. I want him to know who's taking me to my destination. If something happens, he can go to the police and they at least have a lead. It's for my safety.

It's enough to walk at night in the parking lot and have a man behind you to feel uneasy. Ofc, nothing might happen, but the feeling is there. If there is no fear, why does my husband ask me to send him the license plate of the driver when i take a taxi? Why does my husband ask for the details of the Bolt or Uber ride? Why does he ask for location if i leave the house alone? Why do i do this gladly as i want him to know where i am and feel better if he knows where i am? Why does a man fear for m…

Dates..pfff. I've been sending my husband the licence plate each time I took a taxi. Now i share the details of the ride from Bolt. Each time i leave the house alone, i share my location with him, even though it's just walking and not getting in a car with a stranger. If there's no danger, or it's that low, why does he feel better if he knows where i am and who is taking me to my destination? Why do i feel better if i know he knows where i am?

I have a theory that they played too many games. They are used to completing quests for a reward. "Bring 6 berries and you receive a green item and 650xp". So they treat dating like a game. Only thing: they don't know the quest. Because there is no f'ing quest. What they could determine are shallow things that (most) shallow women want. But there aren't that many shallow women to go around and those women certainly don't date them. So, now they turn to studies, graphs, etc which they (often) don…

You, however, brought her looks into discussion. This is why TRP members cannot be taken seriously. They deviate, put words in other people's mouths, spin words, do some mental gymnastics and pat themselves on the shoulder afterwards for a job well done. Romania. Yes, there are people in parks, but less. I started walking a lot for health benefits and streets seem empty. Had this discussion with my husband as he also remembers those streets full. I'm talking about big streets, not some streets between houses. Malls are full though. Same for pubs in old town. But it used to be that people gathered in front of block entrances - not anymore. Or at some statue. Not anymore.

Yes, but in pubs mostly. And they go with their friends. I see less interaction between groups unless someone from one group knows someone from the other group. I see less hanging out in front of blocks. I see less hanging out "at the statue" (multiple statues being hanging out spots).

Insecurity is one of the worst traits in both men and women. These people need endless talks and effort to constantly reassure them. It's tiring. Plus the constant whining and negativity. It will be difficult for OP to have any relationship if he cries "disrespect" each time he doesn't get what he wants. At some point, any woman would get fed up with this attitude and just leave. OP needs some serious introspection.

I don't think OP is aware that some (nonsexual) chemistry is needed between friends. Those people need to rhyme in order to be friends. I don't think this was the case here. Ow we're the happiest. No more arguing for years now. We loved each other and we were determined to make it work. The thing is, when we had to be a team in front of what life threw at us, we were the best team. It was usually stress from the outside, me slowly opening (i'm an introvert and he called me "a tough nut to crack" - he's right) and him not knowing how to clearly express his thoughts. It required communication, lots of it, and a will of steel to make it work.

Been with my husband for 16 years. If anyone from the putside would have seen our fights, especially in the first 4 years, they would think we would end up strangling each other. So none of your stories particularly scream to be that they got married just to get married. There's a time frame between you knowing they have relationship problems and you seeing them married. And many things could have happened in that time frame.

Like I have a list, on that list is 5 important things... I can live with 2 or 3 compromises on those important things. If you can live without them, that means they're not important. Nobody should compromise on things that are important to them. Either reconsider and relabel a thing as not important and then compromise on it. Or keep it on the important list and do not compromise on it. For example an important thing for me is pulling his weight when it comes to chores. It is something importan…

SMH, i hope they will learn from their experience and never make the same mistake twice.

You guys need to make up your mind because this sub gives mixed signals. Either women need to lower their standards or pick better men. Coz when you're lowering your standards you start picking awful men (neurotic, addicted to porn, insecure, butt ugly, jobless, without motivation, morbidly obese, violent, lacking empathy, not willing to do household chores, not looking after children).

Yep, that's when women gain clarity and leave the relationship.

Congrats! You had enough brain to put yourself first, to do something with your life that you are proud of. If this comes off, please understand EN is not my first language. BUT, what you didn't do is learn to stay humble. Martial arts usually teach you this.

Agree, it boils down to behaviour.

It's not just behaviour. They don't have a style (dress like my dad), they don't respect themselves enough to get a good haircut (haircuts make all the difference). They sort of do everything to exclude themselves from most groups, slowly becoming outcasts. They don't work on accepting things they can not change and changing things that they can change. Until it's too late. And then they struggle. And then they're bitter. It's a sad story if you step back and watch the trainwreck that their life…

Working out until near passing out and doing it just for validation.

Because of the pick me vives that people who seek validation have. Because they lack a backbone and bend backwards to obtain validation. And imagine the effort done is for mostly women they don't even know. Because they seek validation in the public, not from their mothers.

I think the biggest simps are guys who get ripped just for women's attention sake. Not talking about staying in shape or exercising because it's a body you want. I'm talking about women being the only motivation.

Why do you care so much about syrangers, people you'll never meet. Let them fuck. They made their beds, they'll sleep on it.

Not only these aren't just my anecdotes, but they're also my boundaries and i suspect many other women's boundaries whether you like it or not.

A woman who grew up with a mother who worked her butt and a lazy father will take that piece of paper on which the study is printed and if it's not rough, she'll use it to wipe her ass. She knows what she saw from a young age. And she keeps her promise to never be in her mother's situation.

This is my experience as well, although my mother had the same job with the same amount of hours and the same pay as my father. Yet, my father was so lazy he wouldn't change a lightbulb. This behaviour was very common and it's no longer accepted by women. About god damn time.

We started after my cousin who's also a very close friend of my husband received a horrible diagnosis, plus a few other deaths in our families it was a horrible year. We just like gathering people we love at least a few times a year.

I responded to whoever assumed i have a lonely life sitting all day inside, just playing video games and scrolling YT or socials. Indeed, they are not impressed with the shakerz but with the delicious cocktails he makes.

Yes, we can afford to pay. And we want to hold these parties and gather everyone. It's becoming a trend and now this is how they organize their birthday parties. Two more friends are in the process of building houses and took into account party space lol. Even one neighbor started to hold similar parties. You know, some people live irl while others gather studies to learn about irl. Funny thing is these people think they know more about irl than the people who actually have a life.

No, why would you reach such a twisted conclusion? Some of our friends we know from kindergarten. We're talking about 30 years of friendship.

Funny you say this. I am the host at parties. My husband is the barman with shaker and a bar and everything, a friend of his is the dj with dj mixer and all the equipment. We invite all our friends, we pay for everything, decorate the entire yard, bring lasers, smoke machine, lights, we have cocktails, dance, we have funny eyeglasses, hawaii necklaces, glow sticks and we are building a house designed specially for parties. And we do this a couple of times a year. How about you?

Those guys are making money selling delusions. They know their audience and their audience's preference. They show videos of hot OF girls passing them as the average. And then they show undesirable men and pass them as average.

Hmmm, for the older couples i know (parents friends and family), in only 2 cases the husband helped around the house, but these 2 were cheaters. Out of the 2 cheaters, one had an easier job with a smaller pay. I see you triggered and it's laughable.

On average... But in my case, my father worked the exact same hours for the exact same pay and the same exact job as my mother. Perhaps you missed this part. And despite all of this, he wouldn't lift a finger around the house. I think you purposely miss certain things when you read.

Exhibit A

The wife works a full time job + does all the chores + takes care of the children. At least this is how it was in my family. And before a nuthead speculates that my father worked a harder job or better paid, they had the exact same jobs with the exact same pay with the exact same hours all their life. And no, my fatger didn't repair stuff around the house very often, hence i started changing the lightbulbs at age 11 because he is really lazy.
