Why was saying variations of "that makes sense" worth a perma in PPD? Especially when the other person was being much more hostile in that conversation with me? (basically telling me to fuck off using PG language).

/u/hazymemory7 I got a question but can't seem to PM. Edit: looks like I'll never know.

blaming, implying, suggesting causality. Whatever term you want to use. The point is, "suggesting" that its entirely men's ineptitude for women's orgasm gap is dishonest.

Ok so we'll stick to 6ft tall woman. Why are you so mad that my wife will be a virgin? How are you asking me this again? Are you going to make me repeat myself again are you going to learn to read? Yeah when you judge someone on a behavior that you yourself don't follow we have a word for that, hypocrisy, and people generally look down on that. Are you in the US or not?
/r/AllPillDebate03/07/23 09:40 PM

The point i'm making is that women are harder to achieve orgasm period so its dishonest to try and make it seem like that's entirely on men.
/r/AllPillDebate03/07/23 09:39 PM

But they have less of a chance of orgasming compared to men. More women than men can’t achieve orgasm thru masturbation so laying the orgasm gap at men’s feet is misleading.

Women have a much lower chance of reaching an orgasm Fixed.

What's worse judging someone based on an action they take or by their biology which they can not control? How are you asking me this, we just went over this. As I said, its worse to judge someone on their biology they can't control. I literally said I agreed with you on that. By your own words women are 10x worse than me and are HUGE insecure hypocrites 🤣 Don't deflect to women, women are gonna women. Besides its not like you would want a 6ft tall overweight woman so don't front. We're talking a…

You're not a virgin but you insist you wife must be lol. Yeah when you judge someone on a behavior that you yourself don't follow we have a word for that, hypocrisy, and people generally look down on that. People who insist on wanting virgin when women when they're not virgins are massively insecure. They don't want their wife to have any experience with other men to be able to know if she's getting a bad deal or not.
/r/AllPillDebate03/07/23 08:56 PM
-2

You're right judging someone based on biology is worse because it is completely out of their control. 👍 So we agree on that. Which is why i pointed out you making comparisons to standards on biology when we were talking about behavior. My wife will be a virgin no matter what Are you a virgin?
/r/AllPillDebate03/07/23 08:48 PM

Having preferences on what you find attractive in a partner based on biology is different than expecting different standards of behavior for your partner than yourself. Men are typically taller and stronger than women due to our biology. A preference on a number of sexual partners you want your SO to have is based on behavior (yes I'm aware of men's stronger sex drive miss me with that).
/r/AllPillDebate03/07/23 08:33 PM
2

So you’re applying a standard (edit: standard of behavior) to someone that you don’t want applied to you?

People who use others exist in both genders. This is not restricted to women. "Women use men, though" doesn't mean "ONLY women use men, men don't use women". Baumeister and Vohs wrote an entire academic paper into this as well. The way y'all act like men and women genuinely can't be friends without the women being succubi is so fucking tiring. They way y'all want to gaslight us about our real experiences and try to pretend what we experience isn't real is so fucking tiring. In the real world whe…

Yeah you raise an interesting point with the perfume. I like good smells and I have an ok cologne collection. And I like to smell good but its because I like those smells. I do believe wanting to smell good smells because you like them is different from wanting to "look good" for yourself because you like it. Satire is a useful tool for helping people see societal ills they may be blind to and The Onion is one of the best to ever do it. The emoji was because you didn’t like what was said, not because of who said it. But since you couldn’t address what was said you did some ad homs and tried to claim it was because of the “source”. When they say "they do ti for themselves" they can't seem to grasp the fact that the reason it makes them feel good to dress up nice or makes themselves more attractive is that they raise their own SMV and that gives them an ego/confidence boost. You'll notice that when women do dress up nice its not very often they choose androgynous formal attire, something that we would consider "being dressed up" but doesn't necessarily boost the woman's SMV. Because the women will ask the men for these acts of service but then won't reciprocate back to the men. In fact the women will reciprocate back to their women friends more so than their male friends. Oh wow look at you go. I completely agree with what you say. One thing I want to make clear. It is immature if someone PRETENDS to be someone's friend BECAUSE they are romantically or sexually attracted to them. This is not the same (not saying you're claiming it is) as someone who starts as someone's friend and later develops feelings, especially since 66% of relationships start as friends first.

One of the foundational academic papers for this sub, Baumeister's and Voh's meta-analysis Gender Difference in Strength of Sex Drive and their paper Sex as a Female resource in heterosexual interactions point out one specific difference between men and women and how that has shaped different societies and cultural systems over the last several decades.

The easy way to illustrate this to people is to ask them what they're applying the definition of woman to. Make them apply to a practical every day problem, for instance who can use a woman's bathroom. Then offer up your own definition, then throw in some outliers, amend your definition, more outliers, another amending, and the person who originally asks the question "what is a woman" will begin to understand its not a simple question.

I agree 100% and it hasn't been displayed more clearly than this paranoid line of questioning because someone might have found them attractive.

Nah my logic is pretty sound. See there you go again insinuating I don't take responsibility? What? Cuz you make bad leaps of logic and bad assumptions? This is exactly what I'm talking abou and others have seen it too.

No if he’s saying he was only acting that way to get in my pants and he wouldn’t have acted that way had he not wanted to fuck me then it absolutely matters. But he's not saying that. He's saying he found you attractive while also being a good friend to you and that's how you twist it to yourself to be a victim while also making a bad guy out of someone who's done nothing wrong. You create a strawman to attack. Did he think my friendship was valuable without the possibility of sex? Most well adj…

You are most definitely projecting. Being unpleasant doesn't mean I don't have conversations in good faith. And because you catch down votes again doesn't mean I don't have conversations in good faith. In your continuing habit of making bad logical assumptions, like the two I just pointed out, and me pointing them out is why you feel I'm "unpleasant".

It's amazing how women will retroactively go back in time and render your actions as "not good" because you happened to find them attractive. If the guy was a good friend, respected your boundaries, practiced social reciprocity, etc. Then all of his actions don't magically become bad because he thought you were attractive. Another case of men's libido being demonized.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/23 12:21 PM

but you also can't go 2 months without seducing your wife and then ask "what is HER problem?" You absolutely can. If she's not also seducing then she can't expect her man to do something she's not willing to do. Also the idea that its ok for women to start neglecting physical intimacy because their man "isn't seducing them anymore" means men are just as justified in not seducing their women anymore because their women are neglecting their physical intimacy.

Nah usually ended on an oral/fingering cycle and time it when she was coming down from an orgasm.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/23 10:47 AM

No I’m talking about one girl, my last gf, and how I didn’t orgasm all the time with her. And yes I did the guy thing of holding back but my trick is when I get close I switch back to oral and fingering until I calm down then back to piv until I get close and repeat until we run out of energy.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/23 06:26 AM

My orgasm rate was like 50% with my last gf but I still enjoyed the hell out of myself. I didn't feel the need to tell her as once it had been 30 to 60 minutes I'm sure we had both had a good time.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/23 06:14 AM

“If you had been hotter, you would’ve made her cum”. So change the word from “blame” to removing agency/responsibility from the woman to be an equal participant.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/23 05:07 AM

This is phrased in such a way as to once again remove agency/responsibility for women's equal participation from them. "She would've cum you just weren't hot enough bro". Yes I know that women enjoy sex more, easier time orgasming, etc with someone they find attractive but so what, so does everyone, doesn't make women some sort of special case.

I thought we lived in a sex positive world where women are also participating as active members in sex? Not if you hear women tell it. They will always bring up their orgasm gap forgetting they are the gatekeepers to sex and weld more power in that situation than the man. Also forgetting that more women can't get themselves off than men. So again women think the orgasm gap is something that happens to them instead of them being an equal participant is. Ok so for the heat vs revealing dress. I've been to concerts, raves, outdoor music festivals, and just life in general. The fact you keep trying to convince me.. I addressed this last time. If it’s 10 people or less then you don’t have to keep a “tally”. I don’t know if it’s over 10 or a lil higher that keeping track gets hard but then again that’s telling on yourself.

/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 08:08 PM

Gender equality, whatever you wish to refer to it as. Some countries do much better at it and other countries are dumpster fires. The US is 53, the UK 21, and Iceland, Norway, and Finland make up the top 3 in that order. The US went down by 2 from 2018. The point is, the forces behind driving countries towards or away from gender equality, at least here in the US, don't touch on areas of dating so much as that is still largely driven by traditional gender roles.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 08:07 PM

Friends with benefits. The "friend zone" refers to a situation where there is a mismatch in romantic feelings between two individuals. For example, sometimes this is a sexual attraction mismatch, where one person is interested in romance while the other wants to "just be friends." At other times, the friends are already sexually involved (i.e. friends-with-benefits), but there is a commitment mismatch, where only one person wants a "relationship" as a committed girlfriend or boyfriend. But the guys went for it anyway and they admit it worked on them. And we know what PPD Women think of guys flirting with /approaching them with no social cues. And then thing is, this is definitely not guarantee. And if it doesn't work out for the guy there could be pretty bad repercussions.

Yes I agree because you've removed a variable. The fact the dynamics are different when it comes down to single sex pairings is the value in comparing those relationships to mixed sex relationships.

/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 05:55 PM

Lesbian and Gay relationships and dynamics are very valuable for looking at hetero dynamics because you see what happens when one sex is taken out of the equation. For instance women who complain men are too sexually forward on Tinder meanwhile Grindr... lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 05:53 PM

Unsatisfied men just try to make it work. Because men know their replacement costs for another partner are much higher than for women for just one reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 05:51 PM

That's cool. Lots of them out there.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 05:47 PM

There are certain traits that make someone a highly valued LT partner. Being supportive, etc (more than just this). And there's a pool of guys who have these a lot of these traits that would make excellent long term partners but get overlooked because they don't make it thru the attractiveness filter. They then see guys who possess few of the traits that make for a good long term partner be successful because they are more attractive, machiavellian, sociopathic, narcissistic, etc.

It's not at all. Unless you're getting to competition level bodybuilding and you need to see if the specific muscle youre trying to hit is actually flexing. Just watch male fitness dude's glute guides very women's and you'll see the guys can hit all the same exercises and are not hindered in their range of motion by their clothes but they're not skin tight either.

GOD. DAMN. Not even a rough estimate? 😂 Edit: now she’s trying to reel it back in. Gave a rough estimate for her 20’s. Poor thing, early onset dementia is a terrible thing to deal with.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 02:10 AM
2

No really if you equate remembering your sexual partners to “every little detail about your 20’s” that says way more about you than anything. Sheesh.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 02:05 AM
2

Would you estimate the range to be 20+? 15-20?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 02:03 AM
3

So sleeping with someone is so common for you, you equate it with “meeting people”. That’s your euphemism for it? Gotcha. Edit. There’s plenty of people that I forget meeting. But I remember who I’ve stuck my dick in cuz that’s more meaningful to me than just “meeting” someone.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 01:58 AM
2

Classic strawman. What we’re talking about is not “every detail of your 20’s”. But damn so you blastin thru so many you lost count during your 20’s. Got it.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 01:57 AM
3

If it’s 10 people or less then you don’t have to keep a “tally”. I don’t know if it’s over 10 or a lil higher that keeping track gets hard but then again that’s telling on yourself. Going by the gss numbers a woman at age 30 with 10 partners is already in 78th percentile.

It’s not them that’s impressive. It’s pretty common.

It’s not that we think you should be thinking of your partners genitalia after all this time. It’s that we think you wouldn’t have slept with so many people that you don’t remember that partner anymore.

When they’re a reasonable number you don’t have to “keep count”. You can just remember them cuz there’s not that many. 🤣 Edit: here is how much you told on yourself. I can ask my friends who have n counts in 10-15 range and they can easily recall their partners and ons. Gd. This girl was GETTIN IT y’all.

If you're asking men specifically where they carry their things then that's implied comparison between men and women, especially if you mention the fact you use a purse. Plus it doesn't have to come straight from you for me to know that women regularly complain about the fact the pockets on their clothes are useless or they love when their dresses have pockets.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 04:32 PM

Since men don't have a pathological need to wear skin tight clothing to the degree women do, our pockets can be made to useful size to carry things. One of our more functional articles of clothing, the cargo pant and cargo short, is also one of women's favorite article of clothing to ridicule while women also lament how none of their clothes have useful pockets. Claiming men are “just too clueless to pick up social cues” Ironic if you can't be direct with men without fearing violence. Learn to be less of a confrontational asshole while still being direct. And the idea of leaning on "social cues" instead of directly communicating your intentions is a fucking crutch.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 01:07 PM
3

Good thing that's a strawman example and a woman so skinny that she can't have periods would be found more attractive at a healthy bmi. Edit: let me rephrase. A woman who is so skinny that she has eating disorders, can't have period, etc. is not going to have any advantage looks wise compared to her hypothetical twin at a healthy bmi. The skinny woman will still get men attracted to her, but should wouldn't experience not having men attracted to her at healthy bmi.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 01:04 PM
25

Guys always say they like healthy fit girls, yet they go for the extra skinny girls with eating disorders or the gym obsessed girls who compete and cut down to unhealthy fat percentage levels and the girls with 10 different plastic surgeries. So by this logic the "healthy" girls are getting overlooked right? Because men are going for all the other girls. But we know this isn't the case AT ALL. Furthermore men like women with ass and breasts. Women get themselves super skinny for other women.

Not all people, just certain ones. General rule: if she wouldn't admire you don't you dare admire her. Know your place. Next time one of these "something something opposite sex/gender" threads come up I got a good one. As a guy the idea of wearing skin tight clothing as an outfit is fucking weird. As a base layer it make more sense but skin tight pants that go up your ass and a tight, form fitting shirt with a deep vneck? Nuh. Its not that you can't use clothing that reduces drag. You can cover that much of your body with clothing that reduces drag (that is allowed by governing bodies). So no, skin is not the answer. And you're missing the difference between traditional speedos and the fast speedo swim suits that will be in the Olympics this year. The Olympic suits cover way more than traditional speedos. Skin not answer. Skin slow.

Not really. I don't know any women who like them. We're not all of us outliers. /u/Peacesquad looks like you were correct. /u/AstronautLoveShack Again. Just because you don't know anyone among your circle of friends doesn't change how popular The Kardashians or shows of that type are among women. The other frustration is that most areas of life are moving towards egalitarianism and removing all barriers and adding in incentives to make sure women have equal footing. Then when it comes to dating its still cutthroat thunderdome rules and gender roles. And women will do everything they can to convince themselves and others they don't hold any advantage.

I was digging thru some of my old imgur favorites and came across a one talking about "Bambi Lesbians", aka lesbians who were physically affectionate but didn't really do the sex thing. Another is attention, you put extreme make-up on and wear revealing clothes but simultaneously you don't wanna admit it's for validation/attention seeking You're not alone in this. Many thousands of words, even in academic and feminist literature, have been devoted to this phenomena.

Men have higher sex drives than women (generally speaker, there are exceptions) and women's libidos in LTR's tend to go down. Thus when you hook a woman after a while she begins to neglect physical intimacy.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 05:11 PM

You know, it seems women have a harder time these days making the one man deal work then the other way, as their libido's tank in LTR's where as men's remain steady. Men desire and want multiple women but they can make it work with the one as long as she doesn't neglect physical intimacy it seems.

They're orders of magnitudes better than some one person's opinion on the internet. Women do insane things for guys they want to fuck. Sure there are exceptions but by and large... Although certainly there are some women with high sex drives and some men with relatively low ones, these are exceptions,
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 04:51 AM

Also, women are at least as horny as men. They just express it a bit differently. Women generally won't dumpster dive the way men will. No, there's been loads and loads of research into this and there's no strong evidence to support this.

I'd include romantic gestures into emotional labor. But how many men really do it on a regular basis outside of initial stages of dating? How many women? Everyone will have their anecdotes and opinions. Would love to see if there's any research into this. Each partner must hold up their end but there are expectations placed on men to keep the relationship going that women do not place on themselves. One great example of this is all the ways women say that men "aren't romantic anymore, don't take…

So you don't like women then. Edit: Because by and large men are hornier than women. And to a societal, hell even species level women will use that as a way to gain resources. You can see it in other animals in the animal kingdom, humans are the only ones to practice prostitution.

no guy I know had to do this Here's why that don't mean a lot. Traditional heterosexual dating and courtship scripts (e.g., men pay for date, women take partner’s last name in marriage) reflect different standards of desirable behavior for women and men. Analogous to sexual double standards, dating double standards reflect the greater agency and power traditionally accorded to men in society. In the present study, we investigated factors related to young heterosexual adults’ endorsement of datin…

I've posted links to this paper in PPD (as it basically explains 80% of PPD) prolly 2 dozen times now. But Imma keep postin it. My quote are only bits and pieces, the paper is 28 pages and goes more in depth. Sexual Economics: Sex as Female Resource for Social Exchange in Heterosexual Interactions Roy F. Baumeister Department of Psychology Florida State University Kathleen D. Vohs Faculty of Commerce, Marketing Division University of British Columbia https://assets.csom.umn.edu/assets/71503.pdf …

Women do not want to be mislead to having sex with a guy, who may not be genuine with his intention. Baumeister and vohs goes into this. Women view sex as a resource to get other things. When they don't get their other things, thats when they feel as they were used even though sex should be considered an equal exchange. But women don't view men's sex with any value so its not considered an equal exchange by women.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 03:52 AM

What he's talking about is that men must actively work for love in a way that women do not. Baumeister and Vohs explain this. The op then goes on to describe the male ideal as a woman that will love him the same way and stand by him when he's down on his luck, money issues, confidence issues, etc. It may become more clear as if instead of thinking of "unconditional" love you think of it as "non transactional" love. Which again is an ideal. Each partner must hold up their end but there are expect…

I have. Youre pulling a no true scotsman on me by trying to claim that since it doesnt meet your arbitrary levels of being skimpy or form fitting enough then it doesnt count. That’s just it: the men are not glancing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKKY7wwrMiw Dude. No woman who is wearing camel toe pants is complaining about you looking at her. Again, wearing skimpy form fitting attire and being hyper sensitive while wearing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 12:14 PM

Its not that. Sometimes wealthy people want to do a prenup on the back of a napkin and think it will hold up.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 08:21 AM

Two clauses worth putting into a prenup for normies: -no alimony -everyone pays their own attorney's fees.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 08:19 AM
1

That's why you get your attorney to check it out and let her attorney check it out well before the wedding and guess what? The chances of it getting tossed go way down and the two attorneys representing their respective party will advise against anything that would be considered lopsided.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 08:13 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 08:02 AM

A divorce lawyer with 20 years experience would disagree with you. Yes a prenup isn't guaranteed if done incorrectly but if done properly and you keep your asks reasonable no reason to assume it'll be tossed in court.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 07:47 AM

Or get a prenup at least. For everyone saying prenup isn't guaranteed, yeah if you scribble your prenup on the back of a napkin then it will get thrown out. That's why you check with an attorney to make sure whats in there is legally enforceable.

Then someone tries to make an argument about men "staring and being creepy" and I posted another video to show a woman being triggered by a man glancing at her and her ultimately being kicked from the gym.

Really what led me to search is that women seem really put off they can't just walk around at night anywhere or anytime they please. But the fact is that's not safe for anyone, men or women. Whether the danger comes from wildlife if you're out in the boonies, cars not seeing you, increased chances of interacting with the police, target of assault, theft, etc. It's just more dangerous to be out at night. Men's standards are way too low. I really don't like the desperation Because a man who will take anything is the last type of man a woman wants. Exactly. Yuupp. Whenever someone makes this comment of men only go after Stacy's I always ask where the large group of women who have good personalities but can't get a man? If you look at the last decade before the pandemic fucked up everything there wasn't a large group of women like this, it was men who were more likely to be this way.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/23 02:04 PM

Men's standards are too low in how they're treated dingus. So which is it? Men are taking what they can get or men are ignoring good women and going after the hot ones? And if men are by and large ignoring women with good personalities where are all these involuntarily single women that get over looked? The last decade before the pandemic that was men, not women. /r/PurplePillDebate05/05/23 01:25 PM

We didn’t have a dress code at all. We do. And other European countries do as well. Dress codes in schools are currently being debated in several European countries. In Sweden, clothing that is considered to be typical of gangsters is a thorn in the side of teachers. In France and Switzerland, teachers are concerned about girls dressing in a way that is too revealing. Now some girls at a school in Geneva are being made to wear an oversized T-shirt that reads "I am appropriately dressed".
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/23 01:23 PM

What’s the need for male students to show up with $150-$250 nike shoes? When do these resort in dress code violations in Germany? No it won’t. Also haven’t met any male student in Germany being bothered by the way girls dress in school during summer. That really doesn't mean anything.

There is correlation. Of course people will go to other sources to get their needs met. Low sexual and relationship satisfaction, high sexual desire, and lack of love are the most robust predictors of infidelity. Now with women losing their libidos in LTR’s whereas men’s stay pretty steady (generally speaking). Plus women’s reported sexual partners go up when they think they’re hooked to a lie detector, I wouldn’t be surprised if their self reported rates of infidelity doesn’t go up too. I wonde…

There are substantial gaps in educational outcomes between black and white students in the United States. Recently, increased attention has focused on differences in the rates at which black and white students are disciplined, finding that black students are more likely to be seen as problematic and more likely to be punished than white students are for the same offense. Although these disparities suggest that racial biases are a contributor, no previous research has shown associations with psyc…

/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/23 05:29 PM

Why do you want people to face "consequences" for having sex? And how does that justify bringing a kid into a shitty existence. Especially when prolifers don't care about the baby once its born.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/23 05:22 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/23 05:16 PM

Except I said “if there’s proof of discrimination” to you. Exactly. As I said, your skepticism and need for proof of discrimination came up in regards to discrimination against BIPOC students for misbehavior but not for the boy student misbehavior. Their behavior causing problems for them is fair. Right. So you're ok with discrimination against boys because it fits your agenda and then you're skeptical when the same reasoning is used for BIPOC students. Which you have yet to prove, because I ask…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/23 05:12 PM
1

The point is not to promote unwanted babies, but to diminish casual, unprotected, hedonistic sex. If you don't want to have casual, unprotected, hedonistic sex, then don't.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/23 05:11 PM
1

So if having an abortion is "get out of jail free" then having the baby would be "jail" be giving birth? Don't you see the issue there? We have enough people. And again, people only care the baby is born and don't give a damn after that. They're not in any position to force someone to give birth to a fetus they don't want to.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/23 05:02 PM

Nuh uh, not men. In this case it would be the women.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/23 04:56 PM

Sometimes BC fails. Sometimes people are raped. Sometimes the relationship falls apart. Shit happens. And even if someone failed to have personal responsibility when it comes to unprotected sex they can still demonstrated personal responsibility be aborting the fetus they can't provide for. Its not like most prolifers give a shit once the baby is born.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/23 04:23 PM

Being opposed to open borders I don't think is enough to call someone conservative even if that is a conservative viewpoint here in the US. I would like to see a comparison of immigration policies of different countries/regions to see how easy/hard it is to immigrate to the US versus other countries.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/23 04:20 PM

Aborting a fetus you can't provide a good life for is personal responsibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/23 04:17 PM

Its not that you're serious about personal responsibility. Its that you're hypocritical about endorsing discrimination. If boys get worse grades for same work that's cool to you. If BIPOC students get worse punishment for the same infractions oh whoa whoa whoa now you need to see if they were the same infractions or not. Now your skepticism comes out. Despite roughly equal usage rates, Blacks are 3.73 times more likely than whites to be arrested for marijuana. Is this ok in your book?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/23 03:57 PM

I would support a woman being able to abort her rapist's baby. So a man should be able to do the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/23 03:54 PM

Sigh You're not wrong. But at the same time its not about changing her mind but to demonstrate to new and/or existing people that they are not to be taken seriously.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/23 03:38 PM

No I'm barking up precisely the right tree with that example because now you either got to admit to you're ok for harsher punishments against minorities for the same crimes or admit that grading boys harsher for the same academic performance is bs. Its the same justification for both, so you pick.

It's just that most troublemakers are boys minorities. Getting mad at the results, and calling it sexism, is a weak SJW tactic. Every police union, private prison company, and conservative politician is nodding in agreement.

Like I said, I'm supposed to feel sorry for the millionaire's money problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/23 02:34 PM

It's still not sexist nor unfair when it does affect their grades. Boys are very capable of not being a menance to society. I have no sympathy when it hurts them and when adults coddle that bullshit. So by this same logic you're ok with minority students facing harsher punishments for the same behaviors in schools? Its not racist right? Because if a student can be graded less for the same work then a student can also be punished more for the same behavior right?

The same academic performance should result in the same academic grades. The fact that it doesn't is a problem. If grades are meant to measure how well you have mastered and understood the material then lowering that measure for behavior issues is unethical and problematic. Non-cognitive Skills and the Gender Disparities in Test Scores and Teacher Assessments: Evidence from Primary School Using data from the 1998-99 ECLS-K cohort, we show that the grades awarded by teachers are not aligned with test scores. Girls in every racial category outperform boys on reading tests, while boys score at least as well on math and science tests as girls. However, boys in all racial categories across all subject areas are not represented in grade distributions where their test sco…

"It's “The War On Boy in Education” for the manosphere." Do teacher and classroom characteristics affect the way in which girls and boys are graded? Teachers’ evaluations of students do not consider only academic competence, but are imbued with social considerations related to individual teacher and student characteristics, their interactions, and the surrounding context. The aim of this paper is understanding the extent to which teachers grade girls more generously than boys, and which characte…

Basically admitting you don't have attraction to your partner or you placing all the expectation of initiating on them and for them to face the potential rejection each time. Sexual intimacy and emotional bonding go hand in hand. A woman can't neglect one and expect to still get the other especially if she is making her partner do the asking all the time. That said, a 2017 study that appeared in the Archives of Sexual Behavior found that the average adult currently enjoys sex 54 times a year, which equates to about once a week. This is less sex, by about nine per year, compared to a similar study done in the 1990s. It doesn't mention marriage in that blurb. Was it somewhere else in the article? American adults had sex about nine fewer times per year in the early 2010s compared to the late 1990s in data from the nationally representative General S…

Sexual intimacy is vital in any relationship, and not just for the sensual pleasure of it all. “Closeness and connection is a human need,” explains Dr. Sanam Hafeez, a NYC-based licensed clinical psychologist. “When in a long-term relationship it's important to reconnect through sex. The brain chemicals released during sex further enhances bonding.” Levkoff concurs, adding that sex doesn’t always have to be limited to intercourse, either. Men are graded more poorly in k-12 schools when you adjust for academic performance. I think remote learning saw this gap shrink. It would be a lot different if women took the lead in dating and arranged/paid for the dates until sexy times. But women DO NOT want to do that. They still want their resources in exchange for sexy times. Kevin Samuels stated it very effectively and the woman admitted she didn't want to do it that way. https://youtu.be/pZaSi3XTdoI?t=280 Baumeister and Vohs wrote an entire paper on this. And research into dating in the US shows it still largely follows traditional gender roles.

The people saying that they've only heard of women having these expectations are in PPD I have a hard time believing. That's the general thought process of FDS women plus loads of research stows that dating in the west is still heavily along traditional gender roles. Sexual desire serves as a gauge of a partner’s value as a mate. Desire may either foster a relationship with a valued partner or reduce investment in a relationship with one who no longer seems suitable. Such dynamics may vary over the course of relationships, as the future may carry with it unwanted changes in the way partners are perceived. Sexual desire functions as a mechanism that encourages investment in partners who are perceived to be worth retaining. Sex is important for maintaining hap…

We just had a back and forth where I said that Plus if libido is going to be maintained during a LTR, its pretty important for women to desire their male partners. And your reply was if libido was the only thing keeping the relationship alive, the relationship sucks. Which is a classic strawman response. This is an honest question and I don't know how to ask it without the whole "don't make it personal" but have you had an honest conversation with yourself to see if you're fit to be dating? If we had someone who was male posting similarly I'm pretty sure that would be a concern PPD peeps would have. You express strong feelings of negativity towards the other sex multiple times a day, its a fair question.

I hate how rp will argue that women need to secure a man before hitting the wall instead of working on their career Part of that comes from that women typically want children and when the children are young they want to be stay at home moms to raise the kids. So the having kids has a time clock attached to it and if you're wanting to stay at home to raise the kids then your career is in limbo. If you can score a work from home job that helps. People need to start negotiating relationship terms up front before moving in/ getting married/ having kids. If I had known before having kids that my ex husband thought all childcare duties fell on mom except "watching" the kid sometimes I never would have agreed to have a kid. I've found that Reddit and PPD in particular are about 30-40 years behind the times on this matter. The whole "men want sex and women want relationships" narrative is not my experience of the world. Far as I'm concerned, the way it's worked my whole life is: Both parties start out happy to have casual sex with no committments If this were the most common case then dating would follow traditional gender roles as much as it does and there wouldn't have been the rise of FDS.

In the present study, we investigated factors related to young heterosexual adults’ endorsement of dating double standards. Participants were 330 female and male U.S. …

Women are specifically attracted to antisocial, psychopathic traits. Men aren't. The best you can say is that men and women are both drawn to narcissistic traits and those traits allow an individual to present themselves better. But women seem drawn to the other two dark triad traits where it hasn't been shown that men are. Also women have 100's of men to choose from. So if you have all those men to choose from but you end up with someone shitty then that's on you. Men have 2, 3 maybe a handful …

Well I think they should also use their same logic on themselves instead of being hypocrites. When we have the same circumstances as women and the same amount of choice as women you can hold us to the same standards.

Again. Make no changes. Keep taking L’s. It’s your life. Edit: Let me go a bit more in depth. This behavior is not that common. Literally have never had someone try to choke me without consent, it's not normal behavior. I'm with you, I've never heard of this being a repeated problem too. Makes me think OP is making it up. But then again I don't get out much. Now as for the t. Someone who just chokes someone in bed with no warning/prior consent is not going to stop just because you ask them nicel…

If you have a repeated problem it’s on you to make changes to address it. If you keep getting assaulted on the regular change your life. Or don’t. And keep taking the L’s. It’s your life.

As Schopenhauer wrote, a females greatest weapon is her ability to deceive, or ‘dissimulation’ as he called it What is the context this was stated? Journal article or what? I wanna read it and see what it goes into.

The onus is on the slapper. They shouldn't slap or choke without consent. You shouldn't have to go through a list of 'hey don't do these dangerous, potentially injurious, and definitely painful things to me'. The default expectation is and should be you don't just slap or choke someone without their welcome. Ok so this person can continue to go thru life not making any modifications and continue to put the expectation on others and have a happy dating life oh wait they gave up. Yes I agree with …

By and large the concept of "objectifying" is bogus and is a way to shame men for having libidos and preferences. Finding someone attractive does reduce them to an "object", they're still seen as a person.

Dating still very much follows gender roles. Men are expected to make all the investment in the woman. They don't want to be in an open ended arrangement with no idea of where its going. Here's a whole video when a woman is asked to consider it from the man's role she agrees she wouldn't go for it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZaSi3XTdoI Baumeister goes into the whole interplay in paper that I've posted like 30 times now. Men started to try and fight against this with walk and talks and coff…

Would be interesting to hear how society changes for women over there with less men around and the gender ratio becoming unbalanced... again. This has happened before in Russia I'm pretty sure.

I hear you. For me personally I'm 5'9" and dated a girl that might as well have been 6'. (5' 11.75") I will say that I'm supposed to be dead nuts on the "average height" in the US but women prefer 6'+ whereas average height for girls is ok for men and it only becomes a problem when women are above average height. So the average is ok for men but women want above average height. But I will say I know a lot of tall girls WANT to be with someone taller and that is still their preference but will ma…

Common sense beliefs are the ones most likely to have studies to confirm/deny them. SMH
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 02:56 PM

HA. so glad its not just me!
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 02:55 PM

I lurk that sub from time to time. I've seen them talk about it. They'll ask one another if men from reddit reach out to them etc and they will confirm that men do but they always assume the men have bad/shallow intentions. Which is funny because lurking around is a faw mod's response to that meme attempting to debunk it and I can't help but chuckle because what they claim doesn't happen I've witnessed myself.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 02:52 PM

Its the opposite. There's women he would be willing to marry but they don't want him. As illustrated here: https://www.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/rtsh4v/women_in_a_nutshell/
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 02:46 PM

Yeah I've run into this myself. My thing is people say "you make the claim its up to you to prove it" but here's the thing. People quickly go from being skeptical of your claim to making the opposite claim or a different claim. And once they take the other side of the argument then they have just as much duty to show why their viewpoint is valid as opposed to yours. I went thru this a month ago with a ppd poster here: https://www.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/10qm427/daily_community_cha…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 02:44 PM

There's studies and data that go into this. But being a virgin at age 29 positively correlates to its not looking good.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 02:33 PM

/u/fatsackguy47 OH YEAH HERE'S THIS ONE TINY INVALID NITPICK I HAVE OF YOUR DATA TO SHOW WHY YOUR POSITION IS INVALID. What's that? you want me to provide data or anything to back up my position other than trust me bro? No, I don't think I will.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 02:32 PM

I don't. But if it was a thing that happened and it bothered me and it was more than a one time thing then with the new person I'd make sure to bring it up and address it beforehand. My thing is this is being looked at a certain way because its sex. There's lots of reasonable expectations we have for our SO's but if you have a string of SO's who don't meet it, then you discuss it with your new person to address it at the start. <Insert your particular sore spot here>

I mean you either grow old together and die or something happens to where a relationship no longer works for both people. And those lessons learned don't come without a little bit of heartache.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 02:06 PM

SMH. Take sex out of it for a moment. There's all kinds of boundaries people should respect and they don't. And when that happens and you're the person who suffers as a result are you going to continue to hope that people stop or are you going to start enforcing your boundaries since you're the one suffering? Of course it's on you to enforce your boundaries. But because sex is involved all of a sudden this common sense goes out the window. But hey, lets say I'm wrong. Then that person can contin…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 02:01 PM

Less inhibited. Less baggage. Plus when you’re older and just starting to get relationship experience the other person will expect you to be on their level and people for the most part don’t have patience or tolerance for that gap. Plus people will take advantage of it by manipulation etc because the other person doesn’t have that experience in setting boundaries in a romantic relationship. It’s one person going into it with innocence matching up with someone who’s a lil jaded because they learn…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 01:51 PM

Make it clear your stances on these things up front before things get intimate. For instance if I had an issue with my lovers slapping me in the face without asking then when I move onto a new one I'll say up front, "hey just so we're clear, if you're thinking of slapping me, I'm not into that, and if you're gonna put a finger in my ass ask me beforehand and I'll let you know." Communication folks. But rather than do that, she gives up.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 01:28 PM

IRL they start lobbing them verbal atom bombs and then later say "i didn't mean that I was just angry". People willing to say whatever to hurt someone fucking suck.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 01:19 PM

What they mean is that the girl they wanted didn’t want them back. Sounds like that guy should lower his standards.

This meme: https://www.reddit.com/r/2meirl4meirl/comments/74mabt/2meirl4meirl/ People do love different when they're young. I look at it as someone missed out on something that most of their peers took for granted.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 01:13 PM

I see this get said so many times but it doesn't hold up to scrutiny. If there is "a lot of out of shape guys looking for a super beautiful women" then for each one of those guys there would be a looks match woman who would be unable to find a guy at all. But that doesn't happen, if anything that woman has plenty of guys who look her way but they don't meet her standards. Basically this: https://www.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/rtsh4v/women_in_a_nutshell/ Now life is changing rapidly s…

People will experience negative outcomes from a lack of relationship experience when they're in their teens. It becomes positively correlated with being single later in life.

Do men never tell each other positive things when playing video games with friends, at home with family, or at work? Yes men compliment each other. But that's different context than receiving compliments from the sex you're attracted to.
